Subscribe to my newsletter to get inspiration, tips on improving our lives and free giveaways here I have suffered from depression since I was 16 years old. I have attempted suicide multiple times, I've been in a mental hospital, I've tried every medication on the planet, etc. So, I've lived it. It sucks. But I didn't start really working on it until I got sober and later when I met my wife. It started with weekly therapy, then trying different depression medications, then moving and trying a new therapist and doctor. Dealing with depression spells that would last for months, etc. But it wasn't until I was finally correctly diagnosed as Bipolar 2, that it finally started getting better. This is my story. Mike & Glenn sit down in the coffee shop to discuss the signs and symptoms of drug addiction. Are they experts? No. But Mike shares that drugs are part of his story of recovery. With almost everyone he knows, they know someone who has a tragic addiction to Fentanyl or Opioids. Knowing the signs and symptoms to look for can help loved ones recognize a problem, and Sober.Coffee has collected a list of physical and behavioral signs of drug addiction. Keep in mind, some of these symptoms - like depression - might not be a drug addiction. But if you're thinking it - pay attention to it.Ultimately, if you think a loved one has a drug addiction, know that you cannot fix someone else's drug problem. In this episode, I brought on one of my dearest friends, Hann, to talk about depression, mainly because the reason why I didn't upload last week is because of the occurrence of a depressive episode for me. It's been on my mind a lot lately, and I thought I would finally kick this new series into gear! I hope you enjoy it, and I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter, supportive or constructive. TW: We talk about depression and its symptoms, depressive episodes, bipolar disorder and BPD, mania, schizophrenia, domestic abuse, and more. If this is an episode that contains triggering topics for you, you are more than welcome to join me in the next episode or listen to other episodes.
