Thank you for joining this week's episode of the Albany Update. We've entered the final weeks of the 2023 legislative session, and that has many New Yorkers wondering what the State Legislature may try to pass in the final days of this year's session. Specifically, there are two bills concerning to the pro-life community that are garnering our organization's attention. One involves additional funding for out-of-state abortions and the second would require abortifacient availability in vending machines on college campuses. Finally, activists were in Albany this week using Mother's Day as an opportunity to advocate for assisted suicide for mom. It was sickening. Let's get started. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/albanyupdate/support
Any athlete can tell you about the importance of “finishing strong.” Whether it is a race, a match or a game, the way you finish is more important than the way you start. It is that way in our Christian life. Our final years are the most important. When we reach our retirement years, what will we do with our time and resources? We've decided NOT to retire to a resort or a golf course. We are working hard to tell others about Jesus Christ. Like the apostle Paul, we want to “press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14.Pay close attention to this episode because we are going to show you how to Finish Strong.
