Spoiler filled Synopsis for Daredevil S02E09 Seven Minutes in Heaven Podcast Directed by: Stephen Surjik Written by: Marco Ramirez and Lauren Schmidt Hissrich As an emerging prison kingpin introduces himself to Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) he makes an offer that proves too tempting for the Punisher. He's to be given seven glorious minutes with Mr Dutton (William Forsythe), the man who brokered the deal between the Irish, the Cartel and the Dogs of Hell on the day of the massacre of Castle's family. In return Fisk asks for the elimination of Dutton as his main rival in prison. As chaos breaks out in the prison, Fisk attempts to betray Castle but his plan fails forcing him to negotiate. Fisk sees an opportunity and smuggles The Punisher from jail so he can pursue his new lead - The Blacksmith. Meanwhile, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) and Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) question the future of their firm following their disastrous defense of Frank Castle and reluctantly agree to part ways; but Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) won't give up so easily. The international community, led by the Country of Wakanda, begin to finalise new rules of engagement for the Avengers - The Sokovia Accords - that look to monitor and control the Avengers and the increasing number of superhumans. But this new treaty only spreads discord among the Avengers. Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) supports oversight whilst Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), distrustful of the governments' motives, seeks to remain free to act as the team deem necessary. However, as tensions rise between the Avengers a new and personal perspective comes in to play for Captain America that only hardens his resolve against the Accords. As new companions are asked to fight and join opposing sides, an unknown enemy lurks in the shadows intent on revealing a disturbing legacy from the Soviet era that looks set to cause Civil War. This time in our top five points we discuss our three leading ladies, some more risque and hilarious humour in this weeks episode and a big change for the character of Jason Wilkes as he begins to get more desperate. Synopsis for Agent Carter S02E07 Monsters Podcast Directed by: Metin Hüseyin Written by: Brandon Easton The murder of Calvin Chadwick (Currie Graham) at the hands of Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett) is spun as just another lost at sea accident of the rich and famous in L.A. as Frost appears distraught, clothed in black and veiled. However, beneath her veil lies another reality as Joseph Manfredi (Ken Marino) is made her second in command and Vernon Masters (Kurtwood Smith) is tasked to to break Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan); but after many used vials of sodium pentothal, Masters is re-assigned and tasked to recover the uranium rods stolen by Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) from Roxxon as Frost interrogates Dottie herself using more effective methods of torture. Elsewhere, as Frost uses her intel to hunt for even more dark powers, Peggy plots a rescue mission for Underwood as her necklace tracker reactivates hinting at a possible location and trap. Undeterred, Peggy, Jarvis (James D'Arcy) and the jitter bug infiltrate Manfredi's compound to release Dottie and the trap is sprung, but it is sprung against Dr Jason Wilkes (Reggie Austin), who unguarded, is kidnapped at gun point from Howard Stark's residence by Frost and Manfredi. In the ensuing escape and commotion a familiar friend is caught in the cross-fire and Dottie escapes once again in to the wind! We hope you enjoyed this weeks podcast. To celebrate our 50th episode of Defenders TV Podcast we're off to a soirée at the Arena Club for our Agent Carter S02E06 Life of the Party Podcast. As always we discuss our top 5 points about this weeks episode from the original Black Widow back in action to the brand new black ooze unleashed, an undercover operation for Jarvis and a brand new state of affairs for the council of nine. Synopsis for Agent Carter S02E06 Life of the Party Podcast Directed by: Craig Zisk Written by: Eric Pearson After the de-phasing of Jason Wilkes (Reggie Austin), Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) realises she cannot hope to save him either on her own or without more of the Zero Matter. In an attempt to stabilise Wilkes, Peggy devises a desperate plan of her own and one that requires: tapping the only remaining source of Zero Matter, Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett); in one of the most dangerous locations for a woman in LA, the Arena Club; with the help and assistance from one of Peggy's most unexpected adversaries (or is that her number one fan), Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan). Dottie is broken out of prison by Carter to put the plan in to action at one of Chadwick's campaign events and is paired with the indomitable Jeeves (I mean Jarvis). As the plan is put in to operation, another unexpected couple arrive at the event, Vernon Masters (Kurtwood Smith) and Jack Thompson (Chad Michael Murray), that further complicate events that has far reaching repercussions for both Dottie and Peggy. Meanwhile, an unusual Council meeting is taking place where Whitney Frost truly proclaims her power and demonstrates the deadly Zero Matter to both the Council and her ex-husband Calvin Chadwick (Currie Graham). Synopsis for Jessica Jones S01E10 AKA 1000 Cuts Podcast In the aftermath of Kilgrave's (David Tennant) escape from his prison things keep on getting worse for Jessica (Krysten Ritter), her friends and her associates as events spiral out of control. Evidence against Kilgrave as the abandoned Center for Disease Control (CDC) is destroyed by a potential new foe who is remorseless in his quest to kill Kilgrave. Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss) is forced by Kilgrave to her Wendy Ross-Hogarth's (Robin Weigert) house as he seeks medical attention, but in a manner of speaking she is soon put under the scalpel herself as her deceitful and manipulative past comes back with a vengeance to haunt her. Despite all these set backs there is a glimmer of hope as the reason for Kilgrave's powers is revealed by his scientist father, Albert Thompson (Michael Siberry). However, as they seek to level the playing field in their fight against Kilgrave, Jessica is faced with a series of choices that will shape the destinies of the people that surround her.
