You Might Know Her From Mad TV, Scary Movie 4, Dead 7, Over the Hedge, The Christmas Chronicles, Avatar, and as the voice of Daisy Duck. Debra gave us all the intel on working on late night sketch mainstay MadTV, including singing opposite herself, hitting Mariah Carey whistle tones, and rubbing elbows with Oscar winners. Obviously, we got into Debra's iconic impressions of Whitney Houston and Oprah Winfrey and the unfortunate story behind her departure after eight seasons. All that, plus her instrumental role in developing the Na'vi people and Neytiri in Avatar, living in the “Debra Wilson metaverse” in video games, and acting opposite nearly every boy bander from the aughts. Tigercub “Tigercub steps up to claim the front runner status as the new heavy. They emerge from Brighton UK under the 7 foot frame of Mr. Jamie Hall and his Tigercub.” ~ Stone Gossard Revolver announced that Loosegroove Records has signed Tigercub c/w US Headlines dates in conjunction with their US & Canada shows supporting Clutch & EYEHATEGOD. The signing of Tigercub on Loosegroove Records marks the reboot of the influential indie label that Gossard founded back in 1994 with Regan Hagar. Significantly Gossard and Hagar signed Queens of the Stone Age and released the band's debut album in 1998, providing a foundation to build to where they are now. “When we discovered Tigercub, it felt like the right time to start Loosegroove back up,” says Hagar. Stone adds “It's almost 23 years to date that Queens of the Stone Age debuted at Mercury Lounge in NYC. And now Tigercub makes their Big Apple debut in the same club on April 16th. This is just the beginning for this incredibly talented group from Brighton UK to enlighten us Yanks to the sound of the new heavy!” Tigercub's latest album ‘As Blue As Indigo' was met with rave reviews from metal, rock and alt press internationally, establishing the band's genre-pushing originality. Written over two years, ‘As Blue As Indigo' champions introspections drawing on the subjectivity of colour, paired with masterclass songwriting, mind-bending arrangements constructed with boundary-pushing production. https://open.spotify.com/artist/6ekYAO2D1JkI58CF4uRRqw https://music.apple.com/gb/artist/tigercub/658911023 https://tigercubtigercub.bandcamp.com/music https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIq8QZNx4Ge6rbBejiSwQBw https://tigercubtigercub.us7.list-manage.com/subscribe?id=d9fefe5a42&u=5adb5e49f2c09c28ec6402fa3 Clutch CLUTCH shares more in common with The Grateful Dead, Rush, and the Allman Brothers than their heavy riffs and heady twists-of-phrase might suggest. Because like those bands, the supporters who adore CLUTCH are there for the experience, community, and authentic connection. To love CLUTCH is to feel a sense of ownership, membership, and belonging. A worldwide cabal of fans and critics cherish the band's dense and diverse catalog of underground classics, released through major labels, indies, and since 2009, Clutch's own Weathermaker imprint. Sunrise On Slaughter Beach, the band's thirteenth studio album, is a slamming summary of everything that makes the band great and another giant leap forward into career longevity. New bangers like “Red Alert (Boss Metal Zone),” “Nosferatu Madre,” “Skeletons on Mars,” “Jackhammer Our Names,” and “Mercy Brown” take their rightful place alongside the classics. Sunrise On Slaughter Beach is the natural culmination of what Clutch began as teenagers in the early ‘90s. Sunrise On Slaughter Beach introduces some “firsts” into the Clutch canon: vibraphone (from Gaster), theremin (J. Robbins), and female backup vocals from singers Deborah Bond and Frenchie Davis. The album's nine songs are a diverse ride, destined to please longtime fans and intrigue newcomers alike. In 2017, Louis went viral after being photographed on a NYC subway by actress/singer, Frenchie Davis. With his newfound fame, Louis decided to use his social media platform to do something positive and so began working with local New York public schools, teaching children to knit.  He has worked closely with with campaigns such as Hat Not Hate, Cancer Awareness Programs at New York's Mt. Sinai Hospital and with LGBTQIA young adults by promoting knitting as a therapeutic outlet. As well as working in the community, Louis is a knitwear Designer of both custom pieces and knitting patterns that range in style from streetwear design to runway couture. In April 2019 Louis did his first Tedx Talk, "Making The Most of Your Moment". Later that year, he became one of the founding members of Soho Publishing's Diversity Advisory Council which was set up to address the lack of diversity and inclusion in the fiber arts industry.  He has also taught at STITCHES and spoke as part of a diversity panel at STITCHES Midwest 2019. Louis believes in building up our community one stitch at a time. Louis is currently recovering from the Coronavirus… and I'm so pleased he could join on the show so you could hear from this remarkable and creative individual.

Shanice Lorraine Wilson-Knox ; born May 14, 1973), better known simply as Shanice, is an American singer–songwriter, actress and dancer. Wilson had the Billboard hit singles "I Love Your Smile" and "Silent Prayer" in 1991 and "Saving Forever for You" in 1993. In 1999, Wilson scored another hit song, "When I Close My Eyes", which peaked at #12 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Wilson is recognized for her coloratura soprano voice and her ability to sing in the whistle register. Shanice was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and relocated to Los Angeles, California with her mother Crystal, and her aunt Penni. Her mother and aunt went Los Angeles in pursuit of careers in the music industry. They shifted their focus to Shanice and formed the management company Crystal Penni to cultivate and promote her talents. Shanice was nine years old when she appeared in a Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial with the legendary jazz vocalist Ella Fitzgerald. In 1984, she was part of the regular cast in the first thirteen of the children's program Kids Incorporated. Shanice competed on Star Search as eight-year old, and she signed with A&M Records at age eleven.[3][4] The given name "Shanice", an ad-hoc combination of the name elements Shan- and -ice, first enters the official statistics of most popular given names in the United States in 1988, i.e. in the year after the singer's debut album; its popularity peaked in 1992, at rank 162 of most popularly given girls' names, after Shanice's biggest hit I Love Your Smile and again fell below rank 1000 by the year 2000 In 1987, at the age of 14, A&M Records released her debut album, Discovery. It produced two top-ten R&B hits, "(Baby Tell Me) Can You Dance" and "No ½ Steppin'".[3][6] Wilson went on to sign a deal with Motown Records in the summer of 1990, releasing Inner Child in late 1991, which included her best-known hit single "I Love Your Smile". It reached the top ten in 22 countries, including the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.[6] The album also featured a cover of Minnie Riperton's 1974 hit "Lovin' You", a rendition that brought attention to her five-octave vocal range.[7]After Inner Child, Wilson continued to record albums, including 1994's 21… Ways to Grow with producer Rhett Lawrence a Los Angeles session musician and Earth Wind & Fire guitarist Dick Smith. This effort was followed by a move to LaFace Records in 1997, who later released the 1999 album Shanice. While she has not achieved significant commercial success with subsequent albums, she has contributed to various film soundtracks, such as Boomerang ("Don't Wanna Love You") and The Meteor Man ("It's for You"). Wilson also achieved success with her top-ten hit "Saving Forever for You", from the Beverly Hills 90210 Soundtrack.[6] She also recorded "If I Never Knew You", a duet with Jon Secada, for the original soundtrack of Disney's 1995 film Pocahontas.Shanice occasionally does background vocals for other artists; she can be heard on Toni Braxton's "Come on Over Here" and "Un-Break My Heart",[8] as well as Usher's "Bedtime". In 2010 she performed vocals on the track "Behind the Mask", from Michael Jackson's posthumous album Michael. Wilson recorded the song "A Midnight Rendezvous" for the 2012 Kinect game Rhythm Party. She also performed the English theme song for the video game The Bouncer, called "Love Is the Gift". Wilson returned to recording after a five-year hiatus and released her fifth studio album Every Woman Dreams on her own label Imajah (named for her two children).[9] The album peaked at #30 on the R&B Albums Chart.[6]In 2019, Shanice returned with the new single "He Won't". In addition to singing, Wilson is also an actress, first appearing in season five of Family Matters episode "Rock Enroll".[11] She later performed in 1997 on the Broadway stage as the first black performer to star in the role of Eponine in the musical Les Misérables.[12] In 2001, Shanice made an appearance on her husband Flex's show One on One as a singer also she starred in the made-for-TV movie One Special Moment,[13] an adaptation of Brenda Jackson's 1998 novel of the same name. In 2011, Shanice joined Niecy Nash and Frenchie Davis for the 21st Annual "Divas Simply Singing" HIV/AIDS charity event.[14] Shanice and her husband, Flex, are starring in their own reality show Flex & Shanice, which premiered on November 1, 2014, on OWN. Coming from a place of compassion that tells it like it is, Frenchie shares some deep truths about how governmental programs affected black homes, and the need to have each of us build bridges to help one another. Join us as we learn how to ask for our needs, and forgive each other to end the cycle of trauma. **   Passion And Soul Podcast: iTunes Subscription: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/passion-soul-podcast-by-lee/id840372122 RSS Feed: http://passionandsoul.libsyn.com/rss Past MP3 files: http://passionandsoul.libsyn.com PassionAndSoul Audio Page: http://passionandsoul.com/audio Stitcher: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/erotic-awakening-podcast/passion-and-soul Erotic Awakening Network: http://www.eroticawakening.com/podcast Contact Frenchie Davis: Website: http://www.LibidoTalk.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/1stfrenchiedavis Twitter: https://twitter.com/LibidoTalkCom Links, Events, People and Movies Mentioned: GWNN Bash (Austin, TX): http://gwnnbash.com/ Primal Ordeal (Southern Washington): http://primalordeal.com/ Sex Down South (Atlanta, GA): http://sexdownsouth.com/ Senate wages and retirement benefits: http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/uscongress/a/congresspay.htm “YORUBA'S DON'T DO GENDER”: A CRITICAL REVIEW OF OYERONKE OYEWUMI's: The Invention of Women: Making an African Sense of Western Gender Discourses” by Bibi Bakare-Yusuf: http://www.codesria.org/IMG/pdf/BAKERE_YUSUF.pdf Black Lives Matter: http://blacklivesmatter.com/ Oprah's Master Class: http://www.oprah.com/app/master-class.html The Chopra Center: http://www.chopra.com/ “What Ronald Reagan Has to Do with Dora on Your Popsicle Package,“ by Anna Lappé: http://www.earthisland.org/journal/index.php/elist/eListRead/what_ronald_reagan_has_to_do_with_dora_on_your_popsicle_package/ Lee's Upcoming Events/Appearances: http://passionandsoul.com/appearances/ Lee Harrington Contact Information: http://www.PassionAndSoul.com http://www.FetLife.com/passionandsoul http://twitter.com/#!/PassionAndSoul https://www.facebook.com/lee.harringon https://www.facebook.com/passionandsoul

Just home from a tour that covered 11 states in 16 days, Lee takes us on a journey through small town America and big events alike. From race and black women's body autonomy in Atlanta to BDSM and assault laws in Fargo, we dance through how language plays into sharing our truths with others. Let us look at our shared experiences, no matter our histories, building a shared humanity while learning some easy bondage techniques too. The Vault - Part 3 is my favorite of the whole series. During the course of this set, it was all about the sexy beats and familiar vocals, so this time I am including the track listing... Music is timeless, and though many of these songs are from a while ago, their arrangement is not predictable, and I was definitely having a good time with it. So I leave this part of this set for you pleasure. Because of my DJ/work schedule, I wanted them released more closely, but your requests have paid off. Enjoy my friends, and please do not forget to subscribe, that way I know that you are not randomly listening, but you care about the time I put into it. The rest of the Summer has me every where on the globe, but when I listened to this, I was in heaven. Love, Tony Track Listing: 1. Celeda/Danny Tennaglia “Music Is The Answer” (Tony Moran Remix) 2. Reina "Find Another Woman" (Deep Influence Remix) 3. Jesse Garcia “Mas Que Nada” (Tony Moran Remix) 4. Ralphi Rosario "DJ Made Me Do It" 5. Offer Nissim "Offer Rocks" (Tony Moran Remash/Remix) 6. We're always thrilled to be able to shed some light on worthwhile and, honestly, vital organizations. And Friend Movement does just that by inspiring people to prevent bullying by enabling them to be a better friend. They provide entertaining and educational resources and leverage social media to get the job done. A little shock and awe goes a long way to get the much needed attention that today's issues require. And Friend Movement co-founders, actor/model Ronnie Kroell and filmmaker Elliot London, have come up with a winning campaign that's getting national exposure. With the help of such celebrities as Adam Lambert, Tim Gunn, LeAnn Rimes, Frenchie Davis and many others, their The New F Word photo project is a big bird in the face of bullying. We chatted with our friend Ronnie to get the inside scoop on the project, the multi-city tour they are about to take, the July 1 benefit concert, the eventual documentary movie, and why stopping bullying is more important now than ever.

Once again, we were thrilled to be invited by RSVP Vacations to step aboard their Southern Caribbean Cruise last week to tape an episode of the Swish Edition in front of a live studio audience on the ship. Hosts Scott & Steve (Dale sadly missed the boat) came away with some great stuff for y'all! In fact, there was so much of it, we had to release this week's episode in two parts. This is Swish on RSVP Part Two; Part One is available, too. It features the Gay Pimp himself, Jonny McGovern and the very funny Poppi Kramer. First up, the boys welcome back to the show, the incomparable and beautiful Frenchie Davis. Like all of our guests on the cruise, Frenchie was one of the featured entertainers and this power-house singer certainly blew the roof off the theater's roof on the first night. When she sat down with us, she talked about her time on reality TV; how she creates her cover and original song arrangements; why she decided to sport the bald look; why her size K breasts need some loving support; and much more. It's a great conversation that y'all will enjoy. After that, the hilarious and chicken-lovin' comedienne Jessica Kirson steps up to the stage. She'll have you in stitches when she talks about the black woman inside; her masturbatory methods; her new role as a cop in a major motion picture; her step-brother Zach Braff; her thoughts on gay cruises; and OH so much more. Jessica has become a great friend of the show and each and every time she's on, she makes up spit up our drinks! In a good way. But the piece de resistance is the Slight Dirty Gay Password game we play at the end of the episode. Frenchie and Jessica each teamed up with a member of the audience for a game show like none you've ever seen--or heard--before! Trust us, it's funny. And it ends with prizes donated by our good friends at Nasty Pig clothing company! And finally, a big thank you to the great folks at RSVP for all of their help and their kind invitation. A special shout out goes to Jeff Gundvaldson, Rachel Pearson and Brad Loekle!

And, wow, hosts Scott & Steve (Dale sadly missed the boat) came away with some great stuff for y'all! In fact, there was so much of it, they had to release this week's episode in two parts. This is Swish on RSVP Part One; Part Two will drop on February 21. First up, the boys welcome the absolutely hilarious good sport, the Gay Pimp himself, Jonny McGovern. Jonny talks about his obsession with the Golden Girls, how he creates his original and parody songs, why he made the big move from New York City to Los Angeles, why he drives a purple car, all about his super hot Saturday night party at Fubar, his big gay podcast weekend in Florida, and much more. Scott & Steve were in stitches and were tickled pink to chat with one of their own gay idols. And we've got Jonny's Sexy Nerd song for ya, too! After that, the quick witting and super cute Poppi Kramer joins the boys on the stage. Poppi is a stand-up comedienne in New York City and this chick is so super cool, even when she cuts Scott down a size or two! We talk gay cruises with Poppi along with why she can't do the lesbian cruises because they're all too emotional; how she got started in comedy, by accident; how she found herself as a contestant on NBC's The Biggest Loser; why she shies away from fisting; and much, much more. You've just got to check out Poppi the next time you're in the NYC area. She's a super hoot. What you won't hear on this episode is all the pop culture news and personal stories you've come to expect from the podcast. But never fear, Dale, Scott & Steve will be back with a traditional episode on February 26, with tons of the crazy stories that happened at sea on the big gay cruise. Until then, don't forget to stream of download Part Two of Episode 215, too. It features the beautiful and talented Frenchie Davis and the always knee-slappin' Jessica Kirson. It was also taped on the ship with a very enthusiastic audience and it drops on February 21 and will be available forever afterwards whenever you want to listen. It's almost that time of year again... another Dallas Purple Party is upon us. I've put together a little mix in honor of the weekend. Shouts go to Vernessa Mitchell and Michelle Williams, since they are performing. Of course, it just wouldn't be right to have a bunch of Michelle's music without a little Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland in there as well. In fact, Beyoncé's and Kelly's songs both have something in common with the Michelle songs they are next too. I'll let you figure out what that is... ha. :-) Also (this is strictly coincidental), there is something for you Glee fans... a little old-school Madonna, albeit a remake & mashup. Love how she used this mashup on her tour a few years ago and glad they finally came out with a real version. I always like my mixes to have a conclusion... a lot of times it's a song that makes you go, "Awwww." To review new music, I have a playlist I pile on a bunch of new tracks to listen to at the gym. The closing song caught me completely off-guard a few weeks ago while I was working out and I immediately knew it had to be the end of this mix. I just think it's sweet and uplifting. The Sun and Moon mixes are already in progress and will be forthcoming in a few weeks.
