It was the biggest win in a decade for the St Kilda Football Club, as the floodgates opened in the second half against Richmond at Marvel Stadium. It was the Jack Sinclair show, the All Australian half back had a career night with the ball on a string, while Rowan Marshall controlled the midfield, and Mitch Owens destroyed the Tigers defensive unit. Please remember to rate and review our show on whatever platform you're most comfortable with (iTunes, Facebook, Spotify etc), and always give us your feedback - good, bad or ugly - and keep sending in your questions or comments on social media! Damian Barrett and Josh Gabelich bring you the latest footy news on AFL Daily. The Western Bulldogs are the "most intriguing storyline" in 2025 with the senior coach out of contract at season's end. The injury toll is mounting with Adam Treloar, Liam Jones and Jason Johannisen all set to miss the opening games of the season plus there's an unknown around the length of time Jamarra Ugle-Hagan will be missing. St Kilda is also dealing with an injury crisis after a Friday training session from hell with Max King (knee), Mason Wood (quad) and Jack Sinclair (hamstring) joining the likes of Mattaes Phillipou, Dougal Howard and Rowan Marshall on the injury list. The Rush Hour Melbourne Catch Up - 105.1 Triple M Melbourne - James Brayshaw and Billy Brownless
JB and Billy are back live on Monday January 20, but we're looking back at their very best moments from their first 15 years together. We kick it off with Billy's stats in his four losing AFL Grand Finals, before JB recalls spending time in the changerooms with the West Indies cricket team, and we remember the time Billy got a rug. St Kilda champ Jack Sinclair does a crossword live on air, we hear from a very young Billy being selected to train with the Victorian State of Origin squad, and we find out why Billy is called September Bins'. We found some audition tapes of Billy calling play-by-play, Billy interviews Shaquille O'Neal, and Nick Larkey has us dying with some perfect impersonations. Finally, we hear the very first time Todd from Barwon Heads called the show, and we finish with Billy's totes inappropes Wooden Eye JokeSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Well, we've reached the end of our Paul Schrader retrospective - for a couple weeks until OH, CANADA comes out - and it's time to discuss our findings. What did we learn about Schrader? About film? About podcasting? About ourselves? Can we remember all the different ways we got sick and hurt since March? Where are we going next, and when? Thank you to everyone who has followed along on our lonely journey toward transcendence. A very special thanks to all the guests who joined us and made the show listenable whenever we let them get a word in: Aaron and Carlee from Hit Factory, Manuela Lazić, Marya E. Gates, Brandon Streussnig, Bilge Ebiri, Esmé Holden, Comrade Yui, Ryan and Este from Altmania, Robert Rubsam, Jordan Fish, Ray Tintori, Jake Tropila, Jack Sinclair, Jane Altoids, Glenn Heath, Jr., Soraya Sebghati, Nick Wiger, Chadd Harbold, Charles Lyons-Burt, Darryl and Petros from Getting Dafoe You, Roxana Hadadi, Matthew Germenis, and Bob Martin. Another extra special thanks to our Patreon supporters who help us make this whole thing make at least some sense to our families. We still can't believe any of you listen to the show. Can't and don't! We'll see you all in 2025 with a brand new subject - and episodes on OH, CANADA and JUROR #2 before the end of the year. Plus some cool surprises, maybe. This week, we are locked in to Jack Sinclair's closet as we delve into the latest news, gossip and scandal. Predictions (accurate ones as it turned out) are made for the WSOPE Final Table which leads the lads into a discussion on how to make the European leg of the WSOP more popular. The current GPI rankings are analysed as Jesse Lonis fends off challenges from Adrian Mateos and Mike Watson to hold onto top spot for a 20th consecutive week. David asks Jack and Dara to rank themselves in the all-time UK and Irish list. The lads discuss playing to study rations and downswings, offering some advice for how to cope with them. David thinks that Jack is daring Dara to play Tritons but is he? The show ends with a deep dive into the recent articles by Kit Chellel, Jonathan Raab and David on the recent Russian botfarm scandal as the lads all express concern for the idea that in-house bots are being deployed by some poker sites.

"Boy, I sure wish there was a sequel to the 1991 HBO Original Movie CAST A DEADLY SPELL, only more of a reboot than a sequel, and with Dennis Hopper taking over the role of detective H. Phillip Lovecraft from Fred Ward, and I hope it's mostly a fumbled metaphor for McCarthyism," you're probably saying to yourself all the time. Well, you will not believe your luck: there is one of those, and for some goddamn reason Paul Schrader directed it! Today we're talking 1994's WITCH HUNT, a film noir pastiche about an alternate postwar Los Angeles where magic is real and the HUAC hearings are about literal witchcraft. 2024 had been a very fortunate year for us regarding premium injuries and cash generation thus far, not anymore.....Tom Green, Connor Rozee, Elliott Yeo, Zac Williams and Nat Fyfe are all hot topics as the injury/sub curse hits coaches everywhere right in the middle of upgrade season. The boys go deep in how we best handle this. Looking at names like Luke Ryan, Caleb Serong, Nick Daicos, Nic Martin, Jack Sinclair, Hayden Young, Luke Sullivan, Darcy Jones, Colby McKercher, Jack Hayes and many more!Plus, is it time to launch on the value midfielders? Oliver and Parish are both ripe for the picking, one says yes, the other says no! It's an action packed pod!twitter = talkingscinsta = talkingscwithstreetyandoz
Melbourne's Jake Melksham joins Joey, Browny, Daisy, Stevie J, and Jay Z for the Sunday Rub. Joey is gearing up to play local footy, and also making incredible predictions. The boys laude Melbourne's defense, but worry about their offense. Plus, Jay Z wonders if Geelong's Tom Hawkins is out of form or just too unselfish. Hitching The Caravan is back, Jay Z is filthy about Scott Pendlebury's umpire-contact fine, Jimmy Webster and Jy Simpkin get into it, and which goal was better - Daicos or Fritsch? Then in the podcast-exclusive portion of the show, the boys give their Good, Bad, and Ugly from round 8 so far, and Jack Sinclair is on the phone after St Kilda's win over North Melbourne yesterday.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We've run out of Clint Eastwood movies that fit our weird criteria, and now we're gonna talk about what we've learned from this whole endeavor. Where we are on Clint, on the auteur theory, on thinking about film, on thinking about political art, on each other, on the prospect of ever doing anything - it's all here for your inspection, dear listener. Oh and also we reveal what we're doing next! We're very excited about it and we hope you will be, too. Here's a hint: I'm going to start reading the Bible. We can't thank you all enough for joining us through the Clint Eastwood ouvre. Your support, however worrisome to your friends and family, has meant a ton to us. We set out to make a podcast that we'd like to listen to, and it turned out that whatever's wrong with us has been afflicting other people too. Thank you to all the friends we've made through doing the show, thank you to the brave listeners who simply download episodes and leave us alone about it, thank you to the folks who support us on Patreon, thank you to the clearly more mentally stable folks who don't do that, and thank you to the handful of dangerous freaks who send us too many emails. We love you all. We'd also like to say a huge thank you to all the unbelievable guests who have joined us over the past year and change. You made us feel like real boys and you made the show a lot better, too. He's the “taste we love without the cholesterol” - which is the tagline for I Can't Believe It's Not Butter - and probably doesn't describe the namesake Zak Butters with any real sense or accuracy, but his 184 points on the weekend was as smooth and tasty as it could get in SC terms. And another Zach who gorged himself on BUTTERY points without fear of cholesterol was Merrett, who came out and scored a 162 for owners, leaving non-owners (like myself) with their faces pressed up against the virtual SC glass drooling at the prospect. We were vocal on Twitter about him being a BIG captaincy option for good reason, and hope owners heeded our advice and made him captain! And in keeping with the rhyming first names, we had Jack Sinclair smash out a season-high 160! But it wasn't just keepers who were delivering, it was the likes of Humphrey B. Bear finding his voice with back-to-back tons, and Weedle our resident SCE Pokemon, who looked to have evolved into his final form with a BIG 114. Ridiculous! But we can't forget the biggest development to come out of the weekend and that is the news that the Pink, Sweaty Pig has been ruled out with a hamstring strain for “the short term” to quote Melbourne. Ross Lyon is back on board with the Saints and there are a few questions about how they'll line up. There is no bigger question than whether Rowan Marshall will be the solo ruck. If he is, then lock-and-load. If he isn't, then stay away. Warnie is laughed at for suggesting Brad Hill. According to Roy, both Jack Steele and Jack Sinclair will be members of the Rollin' 22.
