In this Kundalini Sunday Zoom session, Chrism introduces a central teaching on shadow work: the process of facing fear, guilt, terror, self-hatred, psychic attack, and the unresolved emotional material that Kundalini may bring forward for purification. The episode explores why Kundalini may allow frightening encounters, nightmares, entities, voices, or astral attacks to arise, not as punishment, but as tests of courage, discernment, self-correction, forgiveness, and trust in grace. Chrism emphasizes that fear becomes an access point, while forgiveness, tolerance, self-discipline, neutrality, amusement, and courage become ways of reclaiming one's spiritual authority. The session also includes questions about eye migraines, crown energy, rainbow colors, ear piercings, semen retention, celibacy, Taoist sexual practices, Tantra, Kundalini activation, fasting, prana, dream-state practice, ETs and Grey beings, UFOs, liminal voices, kriyas, celestial frequencies, childhood disaster dreams, and how to respond when fear appears in dreams or daily life. The final portion includes live Kundalini readings and healings for participants, including discussions of energy overlays, entity clearing, Kundalini percentages, chakra development, halos, back pain, dream memory, running as energetic processing, scanning other people's chakras, LifeStraw preparedness, water scarcity, and practical spiritual responsibility.•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•≈•Drawing on more than six decades of direct experience with awakened Kundalini, Chrism offers grounded guidance for those navigating the physical and energetic challenges of awakening. This podcast is offered freely to support those walking the path of Kundalini awakening. For private one on one support from Chrism for your own Kundalini equation, as well as other services and resources, visit https://chrismkundalini.com.Recorded live on 24 May 2026
On this episode of Star Warsologies, we chat with chemistry professor (and Melissa's former boss!) Seth Cohen. We get into a discussion of lightsabers, of course, and learn about the real-life crystals involved in laser experiments that sound a lot like Kyber crystals. There's also a lot of cool info about different metals, including how the strength of beskar might not be in the material itself but how it's prepared. We get into some fun new questions about the cortosis helmet in The Acolyte too. Seth calls chemistry "the central science" and we really do find a variety of topics to cover when it comes to Star Wars! Show Notes: Seth's research group is currently at UCSD but he's moving soon to UC Irvine! And learn more about DARPA projects like Atmospheric Water Extraction and LifeStraw that we talked about. Learn more about MOFs (the chemistry kind) that earned the Nobel Prize! You can also check out Mike Sailor's research at UCSD that we talked about in terms of beskar armor! This week, Tee sits down with Leeah Smestad, a world traveler, conscious travel advisor, and founder of Newberry Travel. After visiting all seven continents and more than 50 countries, Leeah discovered something many travelers notice but rarely fully understand: chronic digestive issues, migraines, acne, and inflammation often improve dramatically when spending time abroad. What began as personal observations during a trip to Europe eventually became a deeper exploration into how food quality, environmental exposures, and lifestyle habits impact overall health. Leeah shares her personal journey with years of IBS symptoms, migraines, and acne, and how eating fresh baguettes in Paris while feeling symptom-free challenged everything she believed about her body. Together, Tee and Leeah explore the major differences between food systems in the United States and the European Union, including the use of chemical additives, pesticides, and food processing practices. They also discuss how local farmers' markets, whole foods, fermented foods, and lower toxic exposure can significantly support gut health, reduce inflammation, and improve skin and energy. Tee and Leeah also dive into the healing power of slowing down. From eating meals communally in Sri Lanka to using chopsticks in Japan, Leah explains how cultural habits naturally encourage more mindful eating and better digestion. She also shares practical wellness strategies such as traveling with a LifeStraw, sourcing food from local co-ops and farmers markets, and choosing accommodations that support local communities. This episode offers listeners an inspiring and practical look at how adopting global wellness habits can help create better health at home. Send us Fan MailA Resident Evil movie that actually tries to look like the games sounds like a win on paper, but the real question is whether it feels like Resident Evil when the camera stops lingering on Easter eggs. We break down Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City with the same energy we bring to every survival horror watch: what works, what breaks immersion, and what choices would have landed harder if the story had room to breathe. We get into the big fan debates that make or break a video game adaptation: Leon Kennedy as a “rookie” who can't shoot, Jill Valentine's personality feeling off, and whether Wesker comes across as the Wesker people remember. We also talk monsters and moments that nailed the vibe, including the licker design, the Lisa Trevor sequence, and the game-accurate shots that feel ripped straight from classic cutscenes. Along the way we dig into Resident Evil lore like the T virus vs G virus and how the franchise shifted from survival horror into action, then back again with newer entries. Then we pivot to the part where “Will you survive?” stops being hypothetical. If the outbreak is in the water, what do you do first: filter, boil, or both? We talk emergency water purification, activated charcoal, LifeStraw-style filtration, bathtub and water heater sourcing, why pool water is a trap unless you distill it, and the boring supplies that become priceless when everything collapses. If you're into zombie movies, Umbrella Corporation conspiracies, Resident Evil game lore, and practical emergency preparedness, hit play. Subscribe, share this with a friend who loves zombies, and leave a review with your hottest take: should Welcome To Raccoon City have been a mini-series?

This podcast is the audio version of the Gear Garage Live Show, where we answer submitted questions and talk all things whitewater. Today's Show! Rescue Courses Just Get a Kayak Answer Questions Some of the Questions that Zach covered in the Q&A section of this episode Topic: Deadhead I got invited on MFS trip for September 3rd this year, and the group that invited me is planning to deadhead the first 25 then picking up people/gear at Indian Creek. The trip leader told me I have to pack light. But I feel that I can easily make it down the upper 25 with a fully loaded boat as I've done it before 1 year ago after the blowout at Velvet and Hells Half Mile. What do you think about this? Topic: Low Water MF Hey Zach, Heading down the Middle Fork of the Salmon on Sept 7th for 6 days. 4 of us in IKs, packing light. How do you think IKs will do in the top 25 miles? Looks like we'll be at 1.5 feet or close. P.S. Are there any small group adventures off the beaten path you've been wanting to explore? Thanks for all the info you have provided on this river! Your recent videos are very helpful. Topic: Pushing vs Pulling & Loaded Boats on Private Trips Hey Zach- First question... I've seen several of your videos about pushing vs pulling, but I was curious about your deadheading MFS trip review video. It seems like the general consensus is to push, unless you need to set up for something. Have some of your other recommendations been to pull as much as possible, especially for newer rowers, or heavy gear boats? Or is this a situationally dependent scenario. Second question... On our recent trip to the Main Salmon this year, we had 1 - 18 foot cat boat, 2 - 14 foot round boats, and my 16 foot round boat. I was the heaviest boat by far. I wasn't worried about the weight and low water correlation on that section. How do you balance the creature comforts of a really comfy trip in low water (like below 2 feet on MFS) and the main necessities in this scenario. Thanks for taking time to answer questions during your busy time of year! Topic: Raft Recommendation I am looking for a boat recommendation that would be good for rowing day runs like the Clack or White Salmon (would love to row the Wind sometime) and could be used for light 1 or 2 night trips with a passenger. I was wanting your take on length as well as models. I have looked at the Sotar ST and SL and wanted to know if you had a preference for rowing more technical whitewater. Hope your season is going well and I appreciate all the things I have learned from this channel. Topic: Clean Water Storage Zach, hope the season has been great for NWRC. I saw this new product from Lifestraw and wanted your opinion. It's a 5-gallon pressurized water filtration system It seems like it could replace everyone bringing water jugs. It's good for 4700 gallons for one cartridge and can take straight river water. It looks a little bigger than a 5 gallon bucket, but if every boat in a group has 5-10 gallons of water, this could replace a lot of jugs on a trip. Thanks for your show and videos and have a great day,
Mikkel Vestergaard isn't a typical aerospace founder. Before building solar-powered stratospheric airships, he spent two decades in humanitarian innovation, distributing a billion malaria nets, co-creating the LifeStraw, and helping eradicate Guinea worm disease. When we buy something, it's not necessarily about the *thing*. Oftentimes we are buying into a story about ourselves; namely, what we simply must fix as we seek to get one step closer to our aspirational, in-a-perfect-world self.Important truth time: You are not a perpetual self-improvement project, and no product can fix what was never broken in the first place. Hyper-capitalism — also called late-stage capitalism — is what happens when material resources, lifestyle activities, and everything in between becomes both commodified and consumable. In hyper-capitalistic economies, products get invented that no one needs or wants. Celebrities are revered like gods. Inequity is everywhere, and citizens internalize the idea that their worth is measured by some mysterious combination of career success and amassed material goods. Many argue that the United States has entered its hyper-capitalist era, as Americans report that the relentless demands of trying to keep up results in working longer hours, increasing loneliness, and lowered life satisfaction. On today's show: A conversation with New York Times bestselling author Kirsten Powers about the ways in which Americans are experiencing the effects of hyper-capitalism in real time. Something semi-sad happens as we age: We lose our nimbleness. So many of us white-knuckle grip long-held habits and beliefs and thus fail to question whether such routines and ideas are working in our best interests. Many corporations are hopping on the sustainability bandwagon these days, but it's not for altruistic reasons. In this episode, I sit down with my sister, Lucy, to talk about everything from listener poll results on serial killer tendencies; to getting the “ick” from our past content; to whether Lucy experiences imposter syndrome and anxiety. We read an old letter we found from our mom to Lucy in high school, discuss how Lucy felt always being compared to me when we were growing up, and unpack a recent fight I picked with my husband. We also talk about how we both feel comfortable fighting, how families can put you in a box and hold onto old beliefs, and how I feel like I'm failing at everything right now. Finally, we discuss how high strung I was before having kids, my recent experience going to an event, and how the internet can bring people together in strange ways.Key Takeaway / Points:Listener poll results from our previous episode (serial killer tendencies, brushing teeth with cold vs. hot water, and shower etiquette)On getting the “ick” from our past contentA recent experience I had with my therapistOn whether Lucy experiences imposter syndrome and anxietyOn reading our mom's old letter to LucyHow Lucy felt always being compared to me when we were growing upUnpacking a recent fight I picked with my husbandOn growing up in chaos and feeling comfortable fightingReflecting on how high strung I was before having kidsOn how families put you in a box and hold onto old beliefsOn feeling like I'm failing at everything right nowOn going to a recent event and how the internet brings people together in strange waysThis episode may contain paid endorsements and advertisements for products and services.
