ROMA (ITALPRESS) - La nuova BMW X3 migliora ancora efficienza e prestazioni dinamiche, per una vettura che è un autentico Sports Activity Vehicle. Questo grazie anche a una gamma di propulsori ancora più ricca: benzina e diesel sono affiancati da un sistema ibrido plug-in di ultima generazione che consente alla nuova 30e xDrive di consumare 24 chilovattòra ogni 100 chilometri e 1,1 litri di carburante. Le emissioni di CO2 così sono di 26 grammi per chilometro, a cui si aggiunge un'autonomia elettrica di 81 chilometri nel ciclo WLTP. Il modello di punta è invece la X3 M50 xDrive, con un motore a benzina a sei cilindri in linea mai montato su un modello M Performance. L'unità M TwinPower Turbo da 3 litri è collegata alla tecnologia mild hybrid da 48 Volt. La sua potenza massima di 398 cavalli consente di raggiungere i 100 chilometri orari da ferma in 4,6 secondi. A livello di design la nuova BMW X3 è più lunga di 34 millimetri rispetto al modello precedente, raggiungendo i 4,75 metri. Grazie a minigonne sportive e cerchi da 18, 20 o 21 pollici l'aspetto è molto sportivo. Nell'abitacolo tutti nuovi il Curved Display, la BMW Interaction Bar, i volanti con il fondo piatto e la leva del cambio. Materiali di alta qualità che si integrano a una dotazione di serie molto generosa, digitalizzazione avanzata e nuovo BMW iDrive. La nuova BMW X3, che sarà costruita negli stabilimenti di Spartanburg e di Rosslyn, arriverà in Europa e negli Stati Uniti nel quarto trimestre del 2024, per poi proseguire in numerosi altri mercati a partire da gennaio 2025.tvi/mrv

BMW IX M60 REVEALED – 619BHP FLAGSHIP TO RIVAL AUDI E-TRON S - The striking new BMW iX SUV has just been given a high performance flagship in the form of the new M60 range-topper. This bold high performance electric SUV will rival Audi's e-Tron S and Tesla's Model X, while also giving the M Performance sub-brand a second model. - M60 utilises two electric motors with one placed on each axle, but power is raised from the most potent iX 50i's 523bhp to a more robust 619bhp. - Feeding these more potent electric motors is the same 105.2kWh battery pack, giving the M60 a 357-mile range – only slightly down on the lesser iX and way above the Audi e-Tron S's problematic 222-mile quoted range. - The new iX M60 does lack the Audi's tri-motor setup though, explaining why something akin to the Audi's rear axle torque vectoring is missing. - The iX in all forms t hen doubles down on this advantage with an application of carbonfibre reinforced plastics along the roof rails, sills and rear subframe. - That huge weight figure doesn't do much to hurt the M60's acceleration time, mind, hitting 62mph in just 3.9sec, over half a second clear of the Audi – the top speed is limited to 155mph. - Customer cars are expected to be delivered in the summer, with prices starting at £111,905 in the UK Original Source : https://www.evo.co.uk/bmw/204466/bmw-ix-m60-revealed-619bhp-flagship-to-rival-audi-e-tron-s BMW IX M60 STARTS AT €130,200 - BMW specifies torque of 1,015 Nm in Sport Mode, and 1,100 Nm when Launch Control is activated. - The fifth generation of BMW electric drives are current-excited synchronous motors. The vehicle unveiled at CES is meant to be just a concept, but it looks very close to production-ready. Chrysler says its first EV will start production in 2025. - Stellantis, the multi-national conglomeration that formed last year when Fiat Chrysler merged with the French PSA Group, intends for Chrysler to serve as the tip of the spear for its electrification strategy. - The concept Airflow comes with all-wheel drive thanks to two 150kW motors, one in each axle. However, the drivetrain can be adjusted to accommodate more powerful motors in the future, Chrysler says. The company didn't provide details on the battery's size or energy capacity, but it did estimate a range of 350-400 miles per charge. - Inside, the vehicle is chock-a-block with screens: four in the front and two for rear passengers. The large central infotainment screen is flanked by smaller screens for the driver and passenger. The instrument cluster screen is set back a ways from the steering wheel, closer to the windshield than the dashboard, making it seem almost like a heads-up display. An additional screen sits below the main infotainment screen for HVAC controls and seating adjustments, among other features. And there are two screens on the seatbacks for rear passengers. You can't buy it today, but a modified Tesla Model S drove that distance across Michigan last month. It was the work of a two-year-old Michigan startup, Our Next Energy (ONE), which says it is aiming to make safer and more sustainable batteries. ONE retrofitted the car with a battery holding twice the energy of Tesla's original—while fitting entirely within the same space. It's a proof of concept for the company's own future battery design. - ONE's project didn't mess with anything to alter the Model S's efficiency, but employed a much higher-capacity battery. "We want to accelerate the adoption of EVs by eliminating range anxiety, which holds back consumers today," said ONE founder and CEO Mujeeb Ijaz. It's not an SUV! Hurray! It's competition for the Tesla Model 3 and the Polestar 2.   “The i4 uses the firm’s fifth-generation eDrive electric motors and will be powered by an 80kWh battery pack, mounted low in the car’s chassis. BMW says the system (battery and motors together) has been designed to be lightweight, tipping the scales at 550kg, allowing the i4 to sprint from 0-62mph in around four seconds and reach a top speed of “more than 124mph.” says AutoExpress: “The i4’s electric platform also features BMW’s latest charging tech, which, like the Audi e-tron, can support rapid charging at up to 150kW.“   Autoblog compares it to the concept version: "Yes, the colossal grille remains. It's controversial, but BMW told Autoblog it's standing by it. The long hood and the fastback-like roof line haven't changed. BMW chose not to release full technical specifications about the i4, noting only that the lineup will include several versions. The efficiency champ will be able to cover up to 300 miles on a charge, according to early estimates, while the quickest model will reach 60 mph from a stop in about four seconds thanks to a 530-horsepower drivetrain"   "Given the car’s layout, and the team who developed and is making it, we might reasonably assume this will be the best-driving electric car this side of a Porsche Taycan." wonders Top Gear rather optimistically: "[CEO Oliver] Zipse says it was “an easy decision” to bring out the i4 three months ahead of schedule. It goes on sale in Germany this autumn. Given how much it shares with the 4 Series, it’s also built on the same production line at the company’s historic Munich factory. That plant has particular significance as it’s right at the foot of the company’s headquarters tower. The heart of BMW, then."   Pistonheads.com seemed to have a more accurate range figure: "BMW has revealed a pre-production i4 and confirmed that the all-electric four-door will have up to 530hp and a range of up to 366 miles, according to WLTP. The i4 Gran Coupe will be launched later this year in both normal and M Performance variants, with the 530hp output almost certainly attributed to the latter."   The kidney grille is obviously blanked off, but it houses all the sensor suite. The iX is a ground-up model designed as a battery electric vehicle that features lots of new tech, including an all-new iDrive infotainment system, as well as the latest generation of BMW’s eDrive electric powertrain." says Motor1: " The manufacturer also confirmed that it will start accepting pre-orders in the US as of June 2021, and that the model’s US launch and start of deliveries is expected to take place early in 2022 with a starting price somewhere in the mid-$80,000 range."   "BMW has announced the German prices and technical specifications of the two versions of its iX electric SUV. The iX xDrive40 and iX xDrive50 variants will be launching in Germany by the end of 2021 with prices starting at 77,300 euros." reports Chris Randall at electrive: "The ‘xDrive’ designation, familiar from BMW combustion models, reveals that the basic version of the iX also features an all-wheel-drive system. The ’40’ is supposed to place the variant on a similar level to the combustion engine models since the models with the three-litre in-line six-cylinder are currently mainly sold with the ’40’ designation.  the iX xDrive40 should accelerate from a standstill to 100 kph in less than six seconds. Consumption is said to be 200Wh/km (322wh/mile). With the smaller battery, the DC charging power is up to 150 kW, which means that 90 kilometres of electricity can be recharged in ten minutes. The charging process from 10 to 80 per cent should take less than 40 minutes. The battery is said to have a gross energy content of “more than 100 kWh”. BMW gives the estimated standard range as more than 600 kilometres. Charging with the large battery takes place at a maximum of 200 kW, which means it should be possible to charge enough power for 120 kilometres in ten minutes."   UK pricing is £69,000 for the xDrive40, matching a BMW X5 specs and price. That's for 250 miles of range, the xDrvie50 getting 370 miles.   They're using a structural battery pack , the 5th generation of BMW battery technology has 20% better energy density than anything they've used so far. Like the new VW's it will change it's regen based on sat nav and sensors. So on the motorway it will coast, in traffic it's max regen. I'd like to try that and see how quickly I get used to it. The motors are designed in house by BMW, they say different to what else is being used in the market. No rare earth materials. BMW hopes to have at least one electric model representing it in about 90% of its current market segments by 2023, and it realistically expects that EVs will account for approximately 50% of its global sales by 2030." says Autoblog: "Most will be powered exclusively by batteries, but some will be available with a hydrogen-electric powertrain. Highly automated driving technology will be available, too, though BMW stressed its EVs will be enjoyable to drive."   MINI BRAND WILL BE ALL ELECTRIC "Mini will become a pure electric car brand by the early 2030s, it’s been announced. The last new combustion-engined Mini – widely rumoured to be the next Mini Hatch – will arrive in 2025, and by 2027 Mini expects electric vehicles to account for more than half of all sales, the BMW-owned British brand said." according to Car Dealre Magazine: "The transition to electric will be complete by the early 2030s, when Mini’s entire range will be electric-powered. The announcement is significant because while the move will put the firm in line with the UK’s 2030 ban on the sale of petrol and diesel cars, it will affect all markets around the world Mini operates in. That means other major markets such as Asia and the United States, where petrol and diesel sales can currently continue after 2030, will also only have electric Minis. "Volkswagen, the world’s largest carmaker, will pay more than €100m in fines after narrowly missing strict EU emissions targets in 2020, despite launching its flagship electric vehicle during the year." writes Joe Miller and Peter CAmpbell for The FT: "The group, which includes the Audi, Porsche and Seat brands, said its fleet-wide emissions in Europe stood at 99.8 grammes of CO2 per kilometre driven, roughly half a gramme short of the goal set by Brussels. VW ended up buying carbon credits from Chinese carmakers, including MG, Aiways and the Geely-owned electric black taxi maker LEVC, to offset the problem. The fines for missing the targets are €95 for every gramme of CO2 over the limit, multiplied by the number of cars sold across the bloc. VW sold more than 3.6m cars in Europe as a whole last year, although that figure includes non-EU states. Audi will start this year with the Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback2, CUPRA will launch the el-Born and ŠKODA will bring the Enyaq iV to its customers. In a LinkedIn post, Ralf Brandstätter, CEO for VW passenger cars, elaborated a bit. He said Trinity will comprise a new platform, more sophisticated driver-assist tech (reaching Level 4 on the SAE autonomous-driving scale), and a "radically new production approach" implemented at the revamped Wolfsburg factory." says Green Car Reports: "Trinity may be related to Project Artemis, VW-owned Audi's attempt to launch a high-efficiency flagship EV by 2024, while creating a template for a faster development process. Audi could potentially take the lead in developing a vehicle platform that will be available to all VW Group brands."   https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1131020_vw-ceo-teases-trinity-project-to-rival-tesla-revamp-wolfsburg-plant-for-evs   TOYOTA LAUNCHES RAV4 PLUG-IN HYBRID IN THE UK RAV4 Plug-in operates as an authentic electric vehicle: EV running is its default mode, in which it can cover up to 61 miles in urban driving (WLTP city cycle) on a full battery charge, and 46 miles in mixed (WLTP combined cycle) driving, comfortably more than the average European daily commute, and reach speeds of 84mph (where permitted), with no intervention from the hybrid powertrain. The driver can select from four different drive modes to suit the journey or personal preference, including an Auto EV/HV mode which automatically switches the vehicle to HV operation when extra drive power is needed, bringing the 2.5-litre hybrid engine into play, then returning to EV operation when conditions allow. On-the-road prices are £47,395 for the Dynamic and £50,895 for the Dynamic Premium. For company car tax payers, the benefit-in-kind rating for the RAV4 Plug-in Dynamic is from six per cent.   BMW ANNOUNCES ELECTRIC M CAR IS COMING THIS YEAR "An electric BMW M car is coming this year. That’s official news coming from the mouth of Markus Flasch, chairman of the board of BMW M. There’s no official date for a reveal yet, so BMW has 11 months and some change to work with. The latest reports suggest that the car will be an M Performance version of the upcoming i4. Nearly 83,000 plugin vehicles (PEVs) were registered in December, resulting in an amazing 27% market share. In our latest episode of the BMWBLOG Podcast, and the very first episode of 2021, Horatiu joins me as we talk about some of the more interesting topics surrounding BMW today, as well as our favorite cars of 2020. This is also our first podcast in this new format. We've added video to the podcast now, so you can watch it on YouTube, if you don't want to just listen to it. This new episode has some good info in it and we break down some topics that a lot of fans have been discussing over the past few weeks. First of which is the BMW i4 M50, which is a car a lot of fans are curious about. The M50 version of the i4 will be an M Performance version and not a full-on M car. Think BMW M340i and not M3. This means it will be a standard BMW with some slight tuning from the M Division. Still, it will be the first electrified car to get massaged my the folks in Garsching. We also discuss the BMW M550i and how it stacks up against the proper M5. This is a topic that a lot of fans enjoy, as the M550i is a bit of a fan favorite. Not only is it 8/10ths as fast as a BMW M5 but it's more comfortable, more affordable and easier to live with on a daily basis. So it's not a cheaper version of the M5 but an entirely different flavor of 5 Series. So it allows customers that want to go fast another, more comfortable option. Lastly, we discuss our favorite cars of 2020, cars that we drove that really stood out to us. We picked our favorite BMWs and favorite non-BMWs.

※ 本文章发布于订阅号:百车全说,订阅号阅读更加方便,欢迎关注! 当你在路上看见一台其貌不扬的奔驰从身边经过,挂着从来没见过的AMG 43尾标,仔细听排气还有点轰轰的,那我劝你不要去轻易挑衅它。因为这不是一台满大街跑的北奔,更不是车主装x时一不小心将“63”的标志贴错成“43”,AMG真的有43这个系列……· 什么是AMG 43 系列?这是2017年AMG引入国内的全新系列,当时一共推出8款车。现在这8款车有些已经改款、有些直接没了,再加上首发特别版的退市,以及后来减税政策引发的官降等原因,目前的定价变化很大,这个待会再提。你可以这么理解43系列:43系列是AMG在63系列基础上推出的入门级性能车,定位在63系列之下,也在常见的45系列之下。在当时43车型的定价要比相对应的63车型便宜20-70多万不等,填补了原先普通奔驰车型与AMG 63车型之间的产品断层。一直以来围绕43系列的争论在于,它首次打破了AMG“一人一机”的传统,搭载的是奔驰流水线产发动机,而非AMG工程师独立组装并冠名的发动机。(M276“红领巾”发动机)很多人会觉得这里面有一个BUG,43定位在45之下,但实际上几乎所有43车型都比A45、CLA45、GLA45这些45车型要贵。而且国内在售43车型统一搭载代号M276的3.0 V6双涡轮增压发动机,而45车型搭载的只是一台2.0T发动机,为什么后者定位反而更高?(四缸机皇M139)如果只看价格和缸数就太片面了,看一眼数据就会发现,无论新一代还是老一代的45车型,在性能层面都要比43车型更强。发动机可不是普通的2.0T,是升功率最高的量产四缸机M139(老一代是M133,曾经的最强2.0T),“一人一机”且马力调得比43的六缸机还大,以及更性能化的底盘、刹车、悬挂,就连声浪也更纯粹……这是因为虽然所有AMG在本质上都是奔驰车型的性能版本,但里面还细分了两个概念,一是“性能定位”,二是“车型级别”。首先,AMG喜欢将自己的产品细分成“赛道级性能”、“专业级性能”和“先锋级性能”。AMG的63和45系列就属于专业级性能,通常情况下代表了一款车型的最高性能版本、老大哥般的存在,不过也有例外,比如S级和大G就同时出了S63L、S65L和G63、G65。而43系列属于先锋级性能,属于AMG金字塔的最底端,这是性能定位。但了解AMG的都知道,43和63系列一样,针对的是C、E、GLC、GLE这些奔驰的中高端车型,你可以认为43就是63车型的“青春版”;而45系列只针对A、CLA、GLA这样的入门车型,专注小钢炮,和43系列在车型上完全错开。说到底43系列的起点就比45系列高,就连发动机的排量税也更高,毕竟A45受制于小A的车架也塞不下一台六缸机,这是车型级别。当然AMG现在也为A、CLA、GLA、GLB提供了入门型号,没错就是35系列,包括很多人都想喷上几嘴的A35L。一般在定价上,车型定位是占主导因素的,然后再去考虑性能定位。在普通家用车领域也是这样的,比如2.0T的宝马730Li就是比3.0T的540i要贵,换成简单一句话就是:“不是一个级别。”所以,43定位比45低,但卖得比人家贵,43缸数比45多,但性能没人家强,也就非常正常了。那么43和自己老大哥63系列比呢?价格的差距很大,性能的差距也很大。(C63轿跑和它的M177发动机)举个C43和C63的例子,现款C43有390马力、520牛米,匹配9AT变速箱百公里加速快至4.7秒。很强了?再看看。C63一下从六缸变成了八缸机头,“一人一机”的M177 4.0 V8双涡轮增压发动机可以输出476马力、650牛米,C63S甚至可以达到510马力、700牛米,轿跑版本的百公里加速最快3.9秒。这么看,C63车主多花的money不亏吧?43系列中纸面数据最强的是E43,同样的发动机,但是被调校到了401马力,也许是因为E63S达到了612马力,这么做看上去差距会小点。但43相比63系列也不是完全没有优势,不同于C63的全系后驱,C43就全系标配了四驱系统,对于新手来说非常友好,但是老鸟会觉得相当无聊,他们更喜欢C63暴力起步打滑留下的浓烟和轮胎印。· 现在的AMG还是AMG吗?自打43系列上市的第一天起,网络上就充满了谩骂声,不过现在35系列出来了,帮忙抵挡了不少唾沫。这些骂的人当中,有一部分是AMG粉,当然另一部分是键盘侠,不过AMG粉和键盘侠的观点非常一致:有了43系列之后的AMG,已经不是原来的AMG了。这话太耳熟了,当年45系列上市一下将AMG的入手成本砍了一半,于是我就听到了这样的话:有了2.0T之后的AMG,已经不是原来的AMG了……关于这个话题,首先得看你对“AMG”这三个字的理解,是奔驰旗下的高性能车型,还是有“一人一机”独特魅力的高性能品牌?普通人的理解可能更偏向前者,他们对性能车的评判简单粗暴,就算是AMG也不能免俗,性能车归根结底就是看性能。63和45系列已经是性能车领域的金字招牌了,是AMG非常成功的产品。即使是43、甚至35系列,性能也不差,都是非常够格的入门级性能车。所以,根本不存在AMG的牌子变味了的说法,它只是新出了一些不是那么强的车,当然门槛也降低了不少。至于“一人一机”,在我眼里这非但不是AMG的品牌核心,反而更像是一种营销策略,目的是将旗下车型包装成高高在上的匠人级产品,只不过后来发展成了一种造车哲学,甚至最后被人奉为信仰。“一人一机;one man,one engine”,字面意思是一台发动机全程由一位工程师负责组装,组装成机后在发动机上冠以工程师的铭牌,是一个非常具有仪式感的过程。但“一人一机”和普通流水线发动机没有本质区别,无非是手工与机器的参与程度不同,并不会为你个人做什么私人订制,即使将AMG GT R PRO上那台AMG顶级的M178发动机下放到流水线生产,最后出来的效果也是一样的。更何况现在“一人一机”的自动化程度非常高,你可以当这就是一条条流水线,只不过每条流水线上只有一人忙活。此外,AMG在2019年的全球销量就已超过13万台,即使排除非“一人一机”车型,所有工程师依旧需要在一年内赶出几万台发动机。我不知道AMG到底有多少工程师,有人说几百,那就是平均每人两天组装一台?(无比强悍的新45)即使你坚信AMG就应该是曾经那个坚持“一人一机”传统的高性能品牌,那也无妨。因为在产品角度,“一人一机”的45、63甚至65系列还是像以前一样纯粹,新车一款比一款强悍,它们始终是AMG最核心的产品,仍然是你认为的那个AMG。而43系列,与其说是它让AMG发生什么改变,不如说是它扩充了AMG的产品线,AMG归根结底是商人,赚更多的钱才是目的。“一人一机”直接导致AMG的产能受限,如果AMG为了销量全系改用流水线那才真是变了。在这个利润为王的时代所有人都在妥协,AMG只是在保持原有纯粹性的同时,设法壮大自己的优势。但这和43系列是否是纯粹的AMG是两个概念,在我的理解中,43系列属于AMG但并非纯粹的AMG。原因在于,几乎每一款43车型都是AMG从奔驰那里“拿来”的,你总能在奔驰的过往车型中找到它们的“前身”,这些“前身”经过AMG的二次加工后才变成今天的43车型。(W204 C350)就以C43为例,扒一扒它的血统:在海外,早在W204年代,站在现在C43位置上的是一款叫“C350”的型号,3.5 V6自然吸气发动机。后来到了W205时代,C350变成了“C400”,3.0 V6双涡轮增压发动机(其实就是M276,属于中功率版本)。你可以将它们当作普通奔驰的顶配型号,只不过换装了更强的发动机。(上:C450,下:C43)奔驰一直认为AMG与非AMG车型之间的断档太大,于是推出了全新的AMG Sport系列,包括比C400功率更高的C450,这就是C43的前身,不仅是相同的发动机,连功率也是完全相同,发动机在外观上只比现在的C43少了一个AMG标。但是,当时它的车型全称是“Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport”,很显然属于奔驰,不属于AMG。后来在2016年日内瓦车展上,取代C450的C43正式发布,随着普通C级一起换装了9AT变速箱,除此以外基本照搬,但命名突然就变成了“Mercedes-AMG C43”。当时AMG也已正式收编了存在仅一年的奔驰AMG Sport系列,组成了自己的AMG 43系列,除了C43以外还陆续凑齐了GLC43、E43、GLE43,此外还有没有引进的SLC43和GT43(唯一非M276的43车型),所有车型划归AMG旗下。(S320L上的低功率M276)简单来说,43系列的绝大部分东西都是奔驰现成的,AMG更多只是拿来一用,包括最重要的发动机,M276是奔驰曾经的主流六缸机系列,广泛搭载在各种高端车型上,技术虽老但成熟可靠,43系列采用的就是最新且最高功率版本“M276DELA30”,由AMG参与改进和调校,主要区别是上了一层特殊的汽缸壁涂层,换了水冷式中冷,以及高压燃油直喷系统。虽然各个部件都经过了AMG的改进和包装,但这里面留给AMG操刀的空间有多大,恐怕有限。这样的“研发”流程和63、45系列这些所有人眼中的正统AMG完全不一样,以往奔驰只留下一个车壳,一张白纸仍由AMG发挥,包括发动机、变速箱和四驱系统的设计。(老款GLC43轿跑)初期所有43车型的辨识度非常低,外观与普通奔驰几乎无异,AMG也意识到了这个问题,于是在车型改款时融入了更多差异化设计。现在,每一台43都具备了非常明显的性能特征,但掀开它们的底裤就会发现终究还是不太纯粹……(新款GLC43轿跑)· 目前43系列有哪些车型?国内在售的43车型只有:C43,59.98万;C43轿跑,63.48万;C43旅行特别版,65.38万;GLC43,65.88万;GLC43轿跑,68.68万。所有车型已经完成中期改款,除了定价的下调,以及之前提过的更性能化设计,还将马力从最初的367提升到了390,还随普通C级与GLC一起换装了液晶仪表与更大屏幕。其中,GLC43全系标配了原厂阀门排气,这是以前想选装也选不了的东西,据说20年之后的C43也是一样。(GLE53与M256)AMG后来又推出了定位更高的53系列,统一搭载M256 3.0直六双涡轮增压发动机(其中一颗是电动涡轮),属于奔驰用来取代M276的最新六缸机系列,依然非“一人一机”,再加上一套48V轻混系统,并将E级与GLE归入了这个系列。所以之前提到的E43与GLE43已经退市,取而代之的是价位更高、性能更强的E53与GLE53,光发动机就被调校到435马力、520牛米,电动机还可以提供额外辅助,E53及轿跑版本定价94.88-97.88万,GLE53及轿跑版本定价98.88-102.88万。据说,未来还将推出替代C43的C53,基于全新一代C级,2.0T匹配8速双离合,马力大概率会超过400匹,这不就是目前45系列的动力总成?那以后53系列中也会出现“一人一机”?目前网上已经有了谍照。这里还有一个特殊车型,AMG GT50,一款四门轿跑车,定价98.48万。严格意义上GT50就是海外GT43的国内版本,最大的区别是GT50为后驱车型,而GT43可选全时四驱,不太理解为什么数字变大了反而没有四驱系统?而且发动机是53系列上的M256然后去掉电动涡轮,367马力的调校也与先前43系列一个水平,所以虽然“50”这个代号非常特殊,但是可以理解成一款特殊的43车型。未来AMG有可能会取消43系列,用53系列全面替代。因为43系列的M276发动机,本质是基于2013年型号的魔改版本,整个发动机系列更是可以追溯到2010年,已无潜力可挖。自奔驰推出M256之后已经没有新的六缸机计划,而M256已经给了53系列,未来的43系列大概率会面临没有合适发动机可用的窘境,所以干脆砍掉……· 43系列的竞品是什么?准确来说,43系列的竞品是宝马的M-performance系列,以及奥迪的S系列。但是这只是针对海外市场而言,且并不是每一款43车型都能在宝马和奥迪那里找到直接的竞争对手。但还是能找出几个明显的例子,比如:C43(轿跑)对位宝马M340i和M440i,以及奥迪S4和S5;GLC43(轿跑)对位宝马X3 M40i和X4 M40i,以及奥迪SQ5和SQ5 Sportback;曾经的E43(现在的E53和轿跑版本),对位奥迪S6和S7。但GLE43和它的轿跑版本就没有竞品,宝马的X5 M50i和X6 M50i,以及奥迪的SQ7和SQ8都是八缸机,排量和功率就连GLE53也远远不能及,它们的对手反倒更像是GLE63,但同时它们上面又有X5M、X6M和RSQ8。不知各位有没有发现,宝马其实没有成规模地引进自己的M-Performance系列,甚至目前在国内市场中找不到一款M-Performance车型。奥迪的S系列倒是挺全,但是做得还不够聪明。通常,你可以将M-performance和S系列当作宝马和奥迪家用车的性能版,自家高性能部门参与研发,而M-power和RS系列才是这些高性能部门亲手打造的纯血性能车。宝马和奥迪在“家用车性能版”与“纯血性能车”之间有一道非常明确的分界线,当你看到一台M340i,或者一台S4,不会认为它们与M3和RS4有什么关系。而“AMG 43”就是AMG最聪明的地方,AMG直接AMG Sport系列收入自己旗下,不管你以前叫什么,从这一秒起你就是AMG了。AMG品牌的含金量有多高?在性能车领域有绝对的代表性,原有AMG Sport车型在换上AMG名字之后,各各都像打了鸡血、镀了金。虽然本质上还是奔驰家用车的性能版,但43系列与63、45系列这些AMG纯血性能车之间的分界线瞬间就模糊了很多。这样43系列的卖相就比宝马M-performance和奥迪S系列好了很多,这也是为什么奥迪S4明明只卖46.88万,但依然有那么多人去买单59.98万起的C43,因为绝大多数43车主在潜意识中也认同自己开的就是一台AMG。AMG敢这么玩,是因为AMG本身是一个品牌(准确点是奔驰旗下的高性能品牌),而打造M和RS系列的只是宝马和奥迪的高性能部门或子公司(虽然奥迪也已将RS系列归入了新发布的Audi Sport品牌),品牌和部门之间,在地位上存在着不小的差距,在发展空间上也有不小的差距。当然,这件事背后还是奔驰操刀,以奔驰的调性,捞钱的事情必定不会放过。· 什么样的人才会买43系列?43系列争议虽大,但是销量却很好,AMG每年十几万的销量,有很大一部分就源自这个系列。这不全是因为卖相,实际上有很大一部分人,他们本身不是性能车的狂热粉丝,但同时他们又想要一台动力好的车,这些人才是43系列销量的基础盘。我喜欢将AMG的车主分为三类:一类是手里多金的性能粉,一类是囊中羞涩的性能粉,最后一类就是我刚才说的那些人。手里多金的性能粉,显然他们会直接选择GT双门、63、45系列(别小看45车主,45车价不高,但这种小钢炮绝不是车主的唯一一台车)。但如果换成S65L这种极度小众车型,我感觉它的车主可能实在纠结不出选什么车,多是一群手握2、300万的中老年成功人士,宾利太贵,玛莎太土,帕拉梅拉格局小,预算不用尽实在可惜,那就S65L吧,结果直到卖车油门也没踩过三分之一。至于G63、G65,调性够高足矣,很少看见大G满街疯跑。囊中羞涩的性能粉,43系列的定价更符合他们的实际情况,但同时43车型的性能在某种程度上又无法符合他们的心理预期。所以车买回来,很多人就会开启漫长的改装之旅,一边攒一边改,慢慢改成心中喜欢的样子。以至于比63还快的43我也见过,后续花销非常惊人,但就是因为当初差了一口气才选择43。最后一类人,就比如我的一个同事,GLC43轿跑车主,非常迷恋性能车暴躁的动力,但又不喜欢驾驶性能车那种浑身紧绷的状态。于是,可甜可盐的43系列当初就成为了首选。对他来说43和63系列,一个是真奔驰、假AMG,性能差点事儿但兼顾家用;一个是真AMG、假奔驰,就像野兽一般但日常极其不舒服。如果将他的43换成任何一台63,先不说他自己难受,他老婆的腰椎间盘突出也会随时复发,有时候不纯粹反而是一种好事,“性能”浅尝辄止即可。所以,看似都是AMG车主,但却又完全不同,AMG每个系列的目标人群都很明确,同时品种齐全又留给不同人群一定的选择空间。但你们的老熟人兔子告诉我其实还有一类人,那是真的喜欢43系列:兔子在西安的大学同学,在2019年6月买了一台C43轿跑,而且特意从西安跑到南京来买,因为那会儿西安的奔驰漏油事件刚发生没多久,而有权售卖AMG车型的那家店,刚好就是曝出漏油事件的那家,以至于那段时间整个4S店停业整顿。所以兔子的同学想着来南京还有个伴儿,于是跑到南京提车,兔子以为他会买台裸车回去自己改,万万没想到直接选装包配满,落地价格抬到了85万,再添点可以直上C63了,而且那会儿西安的新房均价也才刚刚突破1万2/平米。兔子就很不理解,为什么一定要买个C43,而且还直接干到满配?买个C63不好吗?兔子的同学就说了,满配是因为喜欢,买都买了也不差这点钱。但主要一方面是觉得C43有扮猪吃虎的感觉,C63自带的宽体显得太夸张了;另一方面则是北方的冬天比较冷,下雪的时候路面也很湿滑,后驱车型不好操控。此外还藏了一个私心,也算是一个小聪明,就是家里人一听C63是八缸机就会觉得油耗很高,会认为自己不会过日子,而买台六缸机回来显得自己还挺会过的……· 现在入手43车型划算吗?三个字:不划算。首先,现在C43全系都处于缺货状态,遇见一台现车比徒手抓只兔子还难,极少数现车也要加价2-3万左右。今年C43由于疫情、产能等原因,经历了相当长时间的空窗期,轿跑版本目前已经少量到车,而四门版本还需耐心等待。疫情前C43的优惠幅度一直不大,即使是曾经优惠最大的四门版本,最高也就4万多,短期内有车就不错了,建议移步奥迪S4。至于GLC43,量要比C43足不少,目前SUV版本有些地方已经优惠到了3-4万,但轿跑版本依然坚挺地维持原价销售。现在68.68万入手轿跑版本显然是不合适的,对标GLC63的X3M裸车最低也就70万出头,而更凹造型的X4M在75万左右,虽然也是六缸机,但远远强于M276,机皇级别。再给个参考吧,我同事的那台17款GLC43 轿跑在19年5月提车,优惠9.5万,只不过当时还未官降所以定价比现在高出3万左右,相当于优惠6万。个人认为,待后期SUV版本优惠6万,轿跑版本优惠3万即可出手,眼下由于刚刚改款和疫情原因很难达到先前的幅度。不过,性能车就别看性价比了,能接受就买……音频图文更新在订阅号: ※ 本文章发布于订阅号:百车全说,订阅号阅读更加方便,欢迎关注! 当你在路上看见一台其貌不扬的奔驰从身边经过,挂着从来没见过的AMG 43尾标,仔细听排气还有点轰轰的,那我劝你不要去轻易挑衅它。因为这不是一台满大街跑的北奔,更不是车主装x时一不小心将“63”的标志贴错成“43”,AMG真的有43这个系列……· 什么是AMG 43 系列?这是2017年AMG引入国内的全新系列,当时一共推出8款车。现在这8款车有些已经改款、有些直接没了,再加上首发特别版的退市,以及后来减税政策引发的官降等原因,目前的定价变化很大,这个待会再提。你可以这么理解43系列:43系列是AMG在63系列基础上推出的入门级性能车,定位在63系列之下,也在常见的45系列之下。在当时43车型的定价要比相对应的63车型便宜20-70多万不等,填补了原先普通奔驰车型与AMG 63车型之间的产品断层。一直以来围绕43系列的争论在于,它首次打破了AMG“一人一机”的传统,搭载的是奔驰流水线产发动机,而非AMG工程师独立组装并冠名的发动机。(M276“红领巾”发动机)很多人会觉得这里面有一个BUG,43定位在45之下,但实际上几乎所有43车型都比A45、CLA45、GLA45这些45车型要贵。而且国内在售43车型统一搭载代号M276的3.0 V6双涡轮增压发动机,而45车型搭载的只是一台2.0T发动机,为什么后者定位反而更高?(四缸机皇M139)如果只看价格和缸数就太片面了,看一眼数据就会发现,无论新一代还是老一代的45车型,在性能层面都要比43车型更强。发动机可不是普通的2.0T,是升功率最高的量产四缸机M139(老一代是M133,曾经的最强2.0T),“一人一机”且马力调得比43的六缸机还大,以及更性能化的底盘、刹车、悬挂,就连声浪也更纯粹……这是因为虽然所有AMG在本质上都是奔驰车型的性能版本,但里面还细分了两个概念,一是“性能定位”,二是“车型级别”。首先,AMG喜欢将自己的产品细分成“赛道级性能”、“专业级性能”和“先锋级性能”。AMG的63和45系列就属于专业级性能,通常情况下代表了一款车型的最高性能版本、老大哥般的存在,不过也有例外,比如S级和大G就同时出了S63L、S65L和G63、G65。而43系列属于先锋级性能,属于AMG金字塔的最底端,这是性能定位。但了解AMG的都知道,43和63系列一样,针对的是C、E、GLC、GLE这些奔驰的中高端车型,你可以认为43就是63车型的“青春版”;而45系列只针对A、CLA、GLA这样的入门车型,专注小钢炮,和43系列在车型上完全错开。说到底43系列的起点就比45系列高,就连发动机的排量税也更高,毕竟A45受制于小A的车架也塞不下一台六缸机,这是车型级别。当然AMG现在也为A、CLA、GLA、GLB提供了入门型号,没错就是35系列,包括很多人都想喷上几嘴的A35L。一般在定价上,车型定位是占主导因素的,然后再去考虑性能定位。在普通家用车领域也是这样的,比如2.0T的宝马730Li就是比3.0T的540i要贵,换成简单一句话就是:“不是一个级别。”所以,43定位比45低,但卖得比人家贵,43缸数比45多,但性能没人家强,也就非常正常了。那么43和自己老大哥63系列比呢?价格的差距很大,性能的差距也很大。(C63轿跑和它的M177发动机)举个C43和C63的例子,现款C43有390马力、520牛米,匹配9AT变速箱百公里加速快至4.7秒。很强了?再看看。C63一下从六缸变成了八缸机头,“一人一机”的M177 4.0 V8双涡轮增压发动机可以输出476马力、650牛米,C63S甚至可以达到510马力、700牛米,轿跑版本的百公里加速最快3.9秒。这么看,C63车主多花的money不亏吧?43系列中纸面数据最强的是E43,同样的发动机,但是被调校到了401马力,也许是因为E63S达到了612马力,这么做看上去差距会小点。但43相比63系列也不是完全没有优势,不同于C63的全系后驱,C43就全系标配了四驱系统,对于新手来说非常友好,但是老鸟会觉得相当无聊,他们更喜欢C63暴力起步打滑留下的浓烟和轮胎印。· 现在的AMG还是AMG吗?自打43系列上市的第一天起,网络上就充满了谩骂声,不过现在35系列出来了,帮忙抵挡了不少唾沫。这些骂的人当中,有一部分是AMG粉,当然另一部分是键盘侠,不过AMG粉和键盘侠的观点非常一致:有了43系列之后的AMG,已经不是原来的AMG了。这话太耳熟了,当年45系列上市一下将AMG的入手成本砍了一半,于是我就听到了这样的话:有了2.0T之后的AMG,已经不是原来的AMG了……关于这个话题,首先得看你对“AMG”这三个字的理解,是奔驰旗下的高性能车型,还是有“一人一机”独特魅力的高性能品牌?普通人的理解可能更偏向前者,他们对性能车的评判简单粗暴,就算是AMG也不能免俗,性能车归根结底就是看性能。63和45系列已经是性能车领域的金字招牌了,是AMG非常成功的产品。即使是43、甚至35系列,性能也不差,都是非常够格的入门级性能车。所以,根本不存在AMG的牌子变味了的说法,它只是新出了一些不是那么强的车,当然门槛也降低了不少。至于“一人一机”,在我眼里这非但不是AMG的品牌核心,反而更像是一种营销策略,目的是将旗下车型包装成高高在上的匠人级产品,只不过后来发展成了一种造车哲学,甚至最后被人奉为信仰。“一人一机;one man,one engine”,字面意思是一台发动机全程由一位工程师负责组装,组装成机后在发动机上冠以工程师的铭牌,是一个非常具有仪式感的过程。但“一人一机”和普通流水线发动机没有本质区别,无非是手工与机器的参与程度不同,并不会为你个人做什么私人订制,即使将AMG GT R PRO上那台AMG顶级的M178发动机下放到流水线生产,最后出来的效果也是一样的。更何况现在“一人一机”的自动化程度非常高,你可以当这就是一条条流水线,只不过每条流水线上只有一人忙活。此外,AMG在2019年的全球销量就已超过13万台,即使排除非“一人一机”车型,所有工程师依旧需要在一年内赶出几万台发动机。我不知道AMG到底有多少工程师,有人说几百,那就是平均每人两天组装一台?(无比强悍的新45)即使你坚信AMG就应该是曾经那个坚持“一人一机”传统的高性能品牌,那也无妨。因为在产品角度,“一人一机”的45、63甚至65系列还是像以前一样纯粹,新车一款比一款强悍,它们始终是AMG最核心的产品,仍然是你认为的那个AMG。而43系列,与其说是它让AMG发生什么改变,不如说是它扩充了AMG的产品线,AMG归根结底是商人,赚更多的钱才是目的。“一人一机”直接导致AMG的产能受限,如果AMG为了销量全系改用流水线那才真是变了。在这个利润为王的时代所有人都在妥协,AMG只是在保持原有纯粹性的同时,设法壮大自己的优势。但这和43系列是否是纯粹的AMG是两个概念,在我的理解中,43系列属于AMG但并非纯粹的AMG。原因在于,几乎每一款43车型都是AMG从奔驰那里“拿来”的,你总能在奔驰的过往车型中找到它们的“前身”,这些“前身”经过AMG的二次加工后才变成今天的43车型。(W204 C350)就以C43为例,扒一扒它的血统:在海外,早在W204年代,站在现在C43位置上的是一款叫“C350”的型号,3.5 V6自然吸气发动机。后来到了W205时代,C350变成了“C400”,3.0 V6双涡轮增压发动机(其实就是M276,属于中功率版本)。你可以将它们当作普通奔驰的顶配型号,只不过换装了更强的发动机。(上:C450,下:C43)奔驰一直认为AMG与非AMG车型之间的断档太大,于是推出了全新的AMG Sport系列,包括比C400功率更高的C450,这就是C43的前身,不仅是相同的发动机,连功率也是完全相同,发动机在外观上只比现在的C43少了一个AMG标。但是,当时它的车型全称是“Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport”,很显然属于奔驰,不属于AMG。后来在2016年日内瓦车展上,取代C450的C43正式发布,随着普通C级一起换装了9AT变速箱,除此以外基本照搬,但命名突然就变成了“Mercedes-AMG C43”。当时AMG也已正式收编了存在仅一年的奔驰AMG Sport系列,组成了自己的AMG 43系列,除了C43以外还陆续凑齐了GLC43、E43、GLE43,此外还有没有引进的SLC43和GT43(唯一非M276的43车型),所有车型划归AMG旗下。(S320L上的低功率M276)简单来说,43系列的绝大部分东西都是奔驰现成的,AMG更多只是拿来一用,包括最重要的发动机,M276是奔驰曾经的主流六缸机系列,广泛搭载在各种高端车型上,技术虽老但成熟可靠,43系列采用的就是最新且最高功率版本“M276DELA30”,由AMG参与改进和调校,主要区别是上了一层特殊的汽缸壁涂层,换了水冷式中冷,以及高压燃油直喷系统。虽然各个部件都经过了AMG的改进和包装,但这里面留给AMG操刀的空间有多大,恐怕有限。这样的“研发”流程和63、45系列这些所有人眼中的正统AMG完全不一样,以往奔驰只留下一个车壳,一张白纸仍由AMG发挥,包括发动机、变速箱和四驱系统的设计。(老款GLC43轿跑)初期所有43车型的辨识度非常低,外观与普通奔驰几乎无异,AMG也意识到了这个问题,于是在车型改款时融入了更多差异化设计。现在,每一台43都具备了非常明显的性能特征,但掀开它们的底裤就会发现终究还是不太纯粹……(新款GLC43轿跑)· 目前43系列有哪些车型?国内在售的43车型只有:C43,59.98万;C43轿跑,63.48万;C43旅行特别版,65.38万;GLC43,65.88万;GLC43轿跑,68.68万。所有车型已经完成中期改款,除了定价的下调,以及之前提过的更性能化设计,还将马力从最初的367提升到了390,还随普通C级与GLC一起换装了液晶仪表与更大屏幕。其中,GLC43全系标配了原厂阀门排气,这是以前想选装也选不了的东西,据说20年之后的C43也是一样。(GLE53与M256)AMG后来又推出了定位更高的53系列,统一搭载M256 3.0直六双涡轮增压发动机(其中一颗是电动涡轮),属于奔驰用来取代M276的最新六缸机系列,依然非“一人一机”,再加上一套48V轻混系统,并将E级与GLE归入了这个系列。所以之前提到的E43与GLE43已经退市,取而代之的是价位更高、性能更强的E53与GLE53,光发动机就被调校到435马力、520牛米,电动机还可以提供额外辅助,E53及轿跑版本定价94.88-97.88万,GLE53及轿跑版本定价98.88-102.88万。据说,未来还将推出替代C43的C53,基于全新一代C级,2.0T匹配8速双离合,马力大概率会超过400匹,这不就是目前45系列的动力总成?那以后53系列中也会出现“一人一机”?目前网上已经有了谍照。这里还有一个特殊车型,AMG 什么样的人才会买43系列?43系列争议虽大,但是销量却很好,AMG每年十几万的销量,有很大一部分就源自这个系列。这不全是因为卖相,实际上有很大一部分人,他们本身不是性能车的狂热粉丝,但同时他们又想要一台动力好的车,这些人才是43系列销量的基础盘。我喜欢将AMG的车主分为三类:一类是手里多金的性能粉,一类是囊中羞涩的性能粉,最后一类就是我刚才说的那些人。手里多金的性能粉,显然他们会直接选择GT双门、63、45系列(别小看45车主,45车价不高,但这种小钢炮绝不是车主的唯一一台车)。但如果换成S65L这种极度小众车型,我感觉它的车主可能实在纠结不出选什么车,多是一群手握2、300万的中老年成功人士,宾利太贵,玛莎太土,帕拉梅拉格局小,预算不用尽实在可惜,那就S65L吧,结果直到卖车油门也没踩过三分之一。至于G63、G65,调性够高足矣,很少看见大G满街疯跑。囊中羞涩的性能粉,43系列的定价更符合他们的实际情况,但同时43车型的性能在某种程度上又无法符合他们的心理预期。所以车买回来,很多人就会开启漫长的改装之旅,一边攒一边改,慢慢改成心中喜欢的样子。以至于比63还快的43我也见过,后续花销非常惊人,但就是因为当初差了一口气才选择43。最后一类人,就比如我的一个同事,GLC43轿跑车主,非常迷恋性能车暴躁的动力,但又不喜欢驾驶性能车那种浑身紧绷的状态。于是,可甜可盐的43系列当初就成为了首选。对他来说43和63系列,一个是真奔驰、假AMG,性能差点事儿但兼顾家用;一个是真AMG、假奔驰,就像野兽一般但日常极其不舒服。如果将他的43换成任何一台63,先不说他自己难受,他老婆的腰椎间盘突出也会随时复发,有时候不纯粹反而是一种好事,“性能”浅尝辄止即可。所以,看似都是AMG车主,但却又完全不同,AMG每个系列的目标人群都很明确,同时品种齐全又留给不同人群一定的选择空间。但你们的老熟人兔子告诉我其实还有一类人,那是真的喜欢43系列:兔子在西安的大学同学,在2019年6月买了一台C43轿跑,而且特意从西安跑到南京来买,因为那会儿西安的奔驰漏油事件刚发生没多久,而有权售卖AMG车型的那家店,刚好就是曝出漏油事件的那家,以至于那段时间整个4S店停业整顿。所以兔子的同学想着来南京还有个伴儿,于是跑到南京提车,兔子以为他会买台裸车回去自己改,万万没想到直接选装包配满,落地价格抬到了85万,再添点可以直上C63了,而且那会儿西安的新房均价也才刚刚突破1万2/平米。兔子就很不理解,为什么一定要买个C43,而且还直接干到满配?买个C63不好吗?兔子的同学就说了,满配是因为喜欢,买都买了也不差这点钱。但主要一方面是觉得C43有扮猪吃虎的感觉,C63自带的宽体显得太夸张了;另一方面则是北方的冬天比较冷,下雪的时候路面也很湿滑,后驱车型不好操控。此外还藏了一个私心,也算是一个小聪明,就是家里人一听C63是八缸机就会觉得油耗很高,会认为自己不会过日子,而买台六缸机回来显得自己还挺会过的……· 现在入手43车型划算吗?三个字:不划算。首先,现在C43全系都处于缺货状态,遇见一台现车比徒手抓只兔子还难,极少数现车也要加价2-3万左右。今年C43由于疫情、产能等原因,经历了相当长时间的空窗期,轿跑版本目前已经少量到车,而四门版本还需耐心等待。疫情前C43的优惠幅度一直不大,即使是曾经优惠最大的四门版本,最高也就4万多,短期内有车就不错了,建议移步奥迪S4。至于GLC43,量要比C43足不少,目前SUV版本有些地方已经优惠到了3-4万,但轿跑版本依然坚挺地维持原价销售。现在68.68万入手轿跑版本显然是不合适的,对标GLC63的X3M裸车最低也就70万出头,而更凹造型的X4M在75万左右,虽然也是六缸机,但远远强于M276,机皇级别。再给个参考吧,我同事的那台17款GLC43 轿跑在19年5月提车,优惠9.5万,只不过当时还未官降所以定价比现在高出3万左右,相当于优惠6万。个人认为,待后期SUV版本优惠6万,轿跑版本优惠3万即可出手,眼下由于刚刚改款和疫情原因很难达到先前的幅度。不过,性能车就别看性价比了,能接受就买……音频图文更新在订阅号: It’s Martyn Lee here and I go through every EV story so you don't have to.   BMW 7 SERIES ELECTRIC RUMORED TO HAVE AT LEAST 650 HORSEPOWER "When BMW announced the beefiest version of the next-generation 7er will have zero emissions, it didn’t disclose any details about the power delivered by its electric motors. Now, our pals at BMWBLOG claim to be in the know about the hottest version of the fullsize luxury sedan." says Motor1: "Rumored to be called Mi7 or i7 M60, the range-topping 7 Series is said to have at least two electric motors delivering a combined output of 650+ horsepower or about 50 hp more than the M760i.  The report goes on to mention the flagship 7 Series will have a large battery pack with a capacity of over 100 kWh for a range between charges of up to 400 miles (644 kilometers). It won’t be the only M Performance version as below it will reportedly sit a plug-in hybrid model tentatively called M750e with a turbocharged straight-six 3.0-liter combined with an electric motor. Some were saying that Tesla is waiting for a permit, but the latest reports indicate that the company is revising its construction plan." says InsideEVs: "Tesla previously completed clearing the tree farm and ground leveling. The next stage would be the foundation, which seems to be postponed. Torque News reports: "We just got breaking news from Tesla Giga Berlin. Brandenburg’s public radio RBB 24 reports that Tesla has to postpone the construction of the foundation for its Gigafactory 4 in Grunheide, outside of Berlin." A new video shows one of the in-wheel motors in action." says Motor Authority: "Mounting the motors inside the wheel hub frees up space, and offers the potential to more precisely control how much torque is sent to a wheel. Torque can be added or subtracted by adjusting the amount of current going to the motor, rather than using the clutch packs, differentials, or brake applications typically used to adjust torque split. Lordstown says the Endurance carries a base price of $52,500. It is accepting $1,000 refundable deposits for early build slots. In comparison, Tesla says its Cybertruck starts at $39,900. Lordstown has said it will start deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2020. As a result of increased supply, its lead time has been halved to 26 weeks. The longest wait is on Porsche’s first electric car, the Taycan (36 weeks), followed by the Seat Mii electric and Skoda Citigo e IV (26 weeks). But as I've got a long weekend off I'm leaving it at 80% . But in the past I've had the leaf plugged in at 100% for 3/4 days. Holidays when I've flown from the airport 30 miles away left it for two weeks at 60/70% . TBH I don't think it matters short term. Eg long weekend. But longer term week to two weeks plus I would say leave around 80% . Just my experience of 3yrs EV driving   Ybe EV  • 2 days ago Hi Martyn, Regarding your question of the week. I keep my Nissan Leaf connected up to my V2G charger. I have set it to charge to maximum of 95% and discharge to minimum of 25%. It tends to do one full cycle over a 24 hour period. I have been on the OVO V2G trial in the UK since July 2019 and have seen no significant battery degradation in that time. The current lockdown just means the car spends more time connected to the V2G charger and goes some small way to help smooth out the demand peaks. The best part is that I have had basically free electricity for my home and EV since the trial began :-)   Chris Avram Car models may have special needs in layup. Chevy/Holden Volt Amperra will only maintain the 12 Volt battery if it is "rumning" or plugged in. Cant choose SOC so mine sits plugged in at 100% SOC = 85 % REAL. Also need to run it for 10 minutes on gas every month  or so.   Fabian Bonasera  • 5 days ago We're keeping our 2013 Nissan LEAF at 80%.   We're not sure if we should keep it plugged in all the time or not.  We are still driving it 1 or 2 days a week for small trips, so we could charge just one night every week if that's better for the battery's health   Victor Wood I parked up my Ioniq with about 75% charge as that’s what it was at when I last parked it. Once every couple of weeks I will go to the (remotely located garage) and change it’s parked position and leave the car on for 15 minutes to recharge the 12v battery. Tbh the 12v battery worries me more than the HV battery.   Kenz300 x  • 6 days ago If the car is parked for a long time leave it at 50-60% no more.   Bill B Our Audi E Tron is setting @ 79 miles in the garage, here in FL USA. Probably not going anywhere for a while. Getting groceries delivered.   PETER GLASS The BMW i3 manual is pretty clear. If you are leaving the car for over 3months then it should be plugged in. It has so little vampire drain that as long as it’s on reasonably high charge frankly there’s nothing really to worry about. There is no facility to set a charging limit, e.g. 80%, like a Tesla or Kona so you’d have to unplug manually at the right time if you wanted to leave it short of 100%. One important thing is, the i3 battery management has ‘passive cell balancing’ which is best done at 100% [it does happen at high charge but what level is unclear] so having the car idle is an opportunity to leave it balancing and getting a deep sleep. [The manual is equally clear about not leaving the car on low charge. What is low? Well, it won’t let you turn on the heaters while sitting waiting at a rapid charger if it’s under 12%, so clearly the BMS is unhappy there. I drove back from Poole in 2017 with only 6 or 7% left and didn’t charge it back up for over a day – I’m sure the car emailed me it was unhappy, but I can’t remember for sure…!!]. I think most EVs need to be concerned about is their 12Volt batteries and it’s worth waking up the car, switching it on for say 20mins letting the DC to DC converter do it’s work [especially if they are a few years old]. I expect the i3 manual on the 3month lay up is thinking about this issue.   RAJEEV NARAYAN I’m a physician so I’m driving 80 miles a day or more!
