In 1968 The Rolling Stones released their famous song, Sympathy for the Devil. Looking at this song through the Christian world view one particular lyric stands out. “I'll tell you one time, you're to blame.” There is some truth to that. From the beginning Satan and his demons have been spinning the lie of “Did God really say?” Then pointing the finger back of blame and accusing. How can we deal with such an enemy who lies so well and can even posses humans? This Sunday we will see that Jesus Christ has ultimate authority over the demonic. And only in Christ we can resist and be free from the lies of the devil.

Wow, can you imagine witnessing Jesus' glory? That would change how you view Jesus. Today, Pastor Ken describes Jesus' bold attack against Satan during the Transfiguration. Here Jesus showed His disciples that He was God. When we think about Jesus, do we see Him as God? Many times, we see Jesus as our own private good luck charm. We carry Him around and use Him as we wish. Let's instead experience transformation by seeing Him in all His glory.

What about you? Do you reflect God's glory? Or are you impressed by your own beauty? Pastor Ken, today, notes that Satan took pride in what he thought was his own beauty. However, God is The One who is beautiful, and Lucifer simply reflected that. We, too, can easily get caught up in this same thinking. If we aren't careful, we can confuse God's glory with our own glory. When we do this, we're stealing from God. Let's remember that God's the only One who deserves praise! He's so beautiful! 

Do you think that The Bible is old-fashioned and needs re-thought? Did God change His mind since He wrote The Bible? In his message today, Pastor Ken declares that The Bible is still what God thinks. He didn't change His mind to fit the way we think. Some folks today twist what God's Word says to conform to their thinking. But we really don't have the authority to change what God said and meant. Let's remember, that God is the standard to which we will be compared.

If you look at social media, you'll notice something very unusual. Let's first look for “#SelfLove.” This hashtag has over 26 million posts. If you look for “#JesusChrist” you'll see that Jesus Christ has only around 3 million posts. And THIS is what's wrong with society… The world values the false teaching of self-love over the name of Jesus. So what can you and I do about this? In today's message, Pastor Ken reminds you to guard your hearts because the enemy will do anything to keep you away from God's glory.

Do you ever take a second to look at people who serve God? Whether it's at church or in their everyday lives, people who serve God for His glory have the Holy Spirit radiating all around them. But what happens when their goal changes? What if they weren't serving God but serving themselves? The same thing happened to someone you might know as Lucifer, but his heart changed for the worse. In today's message, Pastor Ken warns you of what happens when you stop serving God and start serving yourself. 

Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden, and God gave them one rule: eat from any tree in the garden, but NOT from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. One day, a serpent persuades both Adam and Eve to eat from the forbidden Tree, breaking God's one rule. From that day forward, Satan has been in the ear of humanity… deceiving and keeping us from God's plan for our lives. So, in today's message, Pastor Ken warns you that the enemy is real; his only goal is to keep you away from God.

What would be the best part about living in the United States? The freedom to choose! In many countries, you don't have the right or the liberty to pick certain aspects of your life. And that's the beauty of being human: free will. When God created you, He gave YOU the option to pick, say, and do whatever you want. Why? Because God chose you. Ultimately, God created you for His glory. But because of His love for you, God allows you to come and go. So today, Pastor Ken encourages you to choose Christ.
