Now more than ever, we all need working trust-o-meters. After all there’s some real shit going down on this planet, and we need to know who we can rely on. In this significant solo episode - which marks my 35th birthday, the one year anniversary of this podcast, and the unveiling of the podcast’s brand new name - I share what I’ve come to understand about trust. We’ll do an energy body meditation to help you protect yourself inside a loving cocoon, and I’ll explain how I’ve learned to converse with and calm down my inner child. Plus I'll address how those of us who are white can educate ourselves about white supremacy, so that we can live in a world where humans trust each other more deeply. There is no question that there is a lot of fear flying around out there... that is causing even the most wise and centered of us to question what is real? What should I do? What the heck is going on in the world? How do I stay safe and well? But also not fall victim to the fear machine that stirs up panic? In this episode of Feminine Power Time we will dive into the question - What do you do with the fear? How do you clear the fear so you can see what is real? What information do you trust? What are the wise actions to respond to whatever is happening in the world. Today it's a virus. A few months ago it was any number of natural disasters. And there will be more. These are the times we are living in. And ... while fear will rise up. We do not have to react from fear. We do not have to make our decisions around fear. We do need to be awake, aware, wise and safe ... able to discern. This Feminine Power Time is #2 of 3 in our Grace Under Pressure series: Superpowers for staying centered, calm and clear in a chaotic world. Join me as we dive into what I call Fear-shifting... including What not to do ... so you don't feed the fear, your own or the worlds How to look at fear differently, so you know what to do with it... yours, other peoples or the worlds, so you gain the power to calm yourself and ground yourself to stay centered, and as result empower others to do the same. Three powerful wisdom inquiries you can use in the moment to find the truth and your truth .. the practice of wisdom inquiries is So powerful. A grounding and rooting meditation practice that is about 3 minutes only, you can do it in the morning, or whenever the fear swirls up How to tell if the fear of everything going on in the world is confusing your judgement or amplifying your own internal fears - and what to do with the fear, to shift yourself into wisdom and truth. Fear-shifting is a practice. There are tools. Come and learn them. Plus I'll invite you to open up your eyes to SEE what you might not be seeing about what is happening in the world today. Question everything is what the elders say at this time. Let's make sure you have the right questions and practices to lead to wisdom. See you there xo Christine p.s. Join me for the Wisdom Session on Sunday where I will go deeper into how to stay calm, connected, clear and centered during chaotic times - video or audio stream. In October of 1996, Marylin Manson would release a highly controversial and divisive album, Antichrist Superstar. It was loved by outsiders who didn't fit in with their Christian parents and reviled by political and religious authorities. It actively courted the work of Friedrich Nietzsche and flirted with fascism and social Darwinism. It was heavy on misanthropy and anger at society. In the 90s, you either loved this album or hated it and even some of the haters secretly loved it but stayed silent lest their peers raise an eyebrow. Let's go back in time to the opening shots of a nascent culture war. Earlier this week I was on a flight from LAX back to Melbourne. As we were sitting on the plane waiting for our departure I overheard a flight attendant say to a fellow passenger that one of the other planes had been struck by lightning causing delays to other flights. At the time I didn’t know if a lightning strike on a plane was a bad thing, it sure sounds like something you don’t want to experience, however it got me thinking about the risks of flying. Now admittedly, it’s probably not the best thing to be thinking about just before the plane takes off for a 16 hour flight across the Pacific ocean at night but luckily my thoughts quickly switched to trading and the risks we face as traders. One of the concepts which immediately came to my mind was ‘risk of ruin’, which we first discussed way back in episode 2. In that podcast interview, futures trader Brent Penfold says: "In my humble opinion, I think the risk of ruin is number one or the most important concept in trading." I want to share a little bit more of that audio with you now, because it explains: Why risk of ruin is such an important concept for traders to understand, What traders need to know about risk of ruin, How to calculate your own risk of ruin. Plus I'll share what happens to a plane when it's struck by lightning, so take a listen.

I've been a little flat lately So I have decided to bring some fire and excitement back to The OST Show. I'm going to give my opinions on LeBron James chasing that Chicago ghost named Michael Jordan. I'm going to tell you why I think LeBron might just be better than MJ. This is going to blow your mind and probably piss you off. Where does James rank almost the BEST of all time? Who had an easier road to their championships and career? Who has had a better supporting cast? Plus I'll give my opinions on SF Giants Brian Sebean. I think he's overrated and just got lucky. I also talk about all up to date and the latest sporting news. I'm bias, outspoken, controversial and very opinionated!
Welcome back to the Neverland Podcast! I had a wonderful opportunity last weekend to travel to Marceline Missouri and hear a presentation by some Disney Legends! It's one of the privileges that I get to share with all of you, my faithful Lost Boys and Pixies, and it gives me joy! On this episode you'll get to hear two of their stories about working for Walt, meeting with Walt, and all the fun that comes with working at the best job you'll ever have. To get the third guests presentation, you'll have to subscribe to our YouTube channel, since Tom Nabbe's program featured lots of fun photos. This was a rare treat and I know you're going to love it, but first we have some Disney park and movie news to discuss. Plus I'll tell you a little bit about some of the guests for the KCCC!
