After seeing more of God of War Ragnarök at Sony's State of Play this week, we felt inspired to look at other series that told their stories across (or were abandoned after) just two games, something that's only really strange because we're so used to everything being trilogies in this industry. Then we'll dig into Steelrising, Freedom Planet 2, the reveals from State of Play, the Nintendo Direct, and Ubisoft Forward, and your personal Lord of the Rings-related stories.

Cette semaine, on commence par découvrir ce qui se passe dans une petite ville du Danemark pendant l'hiver 1945. Gerda, le premier titre édité par DontNod, mêle les mécanique de RPG avec une manière très subtile de raconter cette époque. On continue avec les aventures d'un chat dans Stray. Willkommen im Sommerloch. Thematisch kocht die neueste Ausgabe des Games Aktuell Podcasts ein wenig auf Sparflamme. Matthias und Chris haben sich trotzdem für eine gemütliche Plauderrunde zusammengefunden. Zunächst beschäftigen wir uns dabei mit Steelrising, dem neuesten Werk der französischen Entwickler von Spiders. Die sind für ihre Rollenspiele wie Greedfall und Technomancer bekannt. Mit Steelrising haben sich die Macher erneut ein spannendes Szenario überlegt, bei dem es euch in eine alternative Version der Französischen Revolution verschlägt. Das Gameplay wandelt diesmal aber auf den Spuren der Souls-Spiele. Wesentlich entspannter fällt da der Titel aus, den sich der Chris angeschaut hat - Brewmaster: Beer Brew Simulator. Wer sich schon immer einmal an der Herstellung von des deutschen liebsten Getränkes wagen wollte, kann sich in diesem Spiel ausprobieren. Nur schade, dass man seine Kreationen dann nicht eiskalt selbst drinken kann. Abgerundet wird das Ganze am Ende wie immer mit euren Community-Beiträgen.
