Hey everyone! My guest today is actually one of my best friends, well he's actually the husband of one of my best friends but I like him just as much! Teddy Sears is that guy you've seen in everything including his new show Brilliant Minds with Zachary Quinto. We talk a little about that show, the inspiration behind it, and what it's like to work with Zachary. We also talk a lot about how Teddy got into acting so he'd have a good story to tell his grandkids and it somehow turned into a career. I'm pretty upset we have never had the chance to work together but let's hold out hope that that will change soon! Teddy is a genuinely awesome person and I'm so lucky to have him as a friend. Make sure to stick around for the hindsight where my producer Jeph and I answer your comments and emails and I do my best to make sure Jeph will never be able to spell restaurant again in his life. Teddy Sears, a talented actor known for his dedication to his craft, has built an impressive career across numerous hit television series and films. Currently starring in NBC's medical drama Brilliant Minds opposite Zachary Quinto and set to appear in season two of Netflix's The Night Agent, Sears has amassed an eclectic resume. In this episode, Sears reflects on his unexpected journey from a business school student in Virginia to a successful actor in Los Angeles. He shares pivotal moments like a chance trip to Hawaii, an early modeling job that led to a soap opera role, and the instrumental support of a casting director who helped him secure an agent. With humor and insight, Sears discusses the challenges of pursuing acting, the importance of persistence, and the value of networking, offering anecdotes from his career and relationships with actors like Jon Bernthal. Find out why Sears says he crashed and burned in his audition for "AVATAR." The conversation also highlights the non-linear nature of success in the entertainment industry, the adaptability required in a changing landscape, and the role of tools like self-tapes and social media in modern acting careers. These are the unforgettable stories that landed Teddy Sears right here. Carrie becomes fashion roadkill, and we trade stories about being background actors. As I strutted through “Sex and the City" S4 Ep2 with Deanna Cheng (“How to Be Less Old”) and Teddy Sears (“The Flash”), I couldn't help but wonder: Would Rachel Maddow play me in a movie? Got a burning question about a relationship or friendship problem (or really anything Sex and the City adjacent)? Just record a voice memo on your phone and email it to AndJustLikeMatt@gmail.com and Matt will answer your question on the show with his very fancy guests.
This week Kerri and Jenny are taking things to Evergreen. We are watching Christmas in Evergreen, the first in the now four-movie series. Is there a more Christmas-y town than Evergreen or a better might-be-Santa? We don't think so. This movie originally aired in 2017 and stars Ashley Williams and Teddy Sears. We've also got Holly Robinson Peete, Barbara Niven, Marcus Rosner and Rukiya Bernard. It's a who's who of Hallmark Christmas movies and we love it. Catherine Eaton's feature debut as a director and writer, The Sounding has won two-dozen awards on the festival circuit. She was chosen for Tribeca Film Festival's ”Through Her Lens" Lab and Grant for emerging female directors, and was selected as a Shadowing Director for show runner Ryan Murphy's Half Program on the hit Fox show "9-1-1." Her pilot script "Breaking News" – based on her personal experience working with freelance news crews in conflict zones – was selected for IFP's Project Forum and as a finalist for the Screenwriters Colony. Catherine shared an Emmy with the production team on "The Human Toll of Ethanol" for Bloomberg TV, and did freelance production work for various news crews for five years. As an actor, she's been seen on Broadway, TV and film, and was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Catherine teaches Screenwriting at Harvard University. SynopsisCatherine Eaton stars as Liv, a young woman who has never spoken, raised on a remote island by her grandfather Lionel (Harris Yulin, "Ozark"). When Lionel discovers he's dying, he calls the driven, privileged son (Teddy Sears, "The Flash") of his best friend to the island and asks him to protect Liv's independence, alongside Lionel's attorney (Frankie Faison, "The Wire"). That night, as Lionel is reading to Liv, his voice fails him. Liv picks up the book of Shakespeare and begins - first reading, then weaving a new language from Shakespeare's words. She is committed to a psychiatric hospital and becomes a full-blown rebel in the hospital; her increasing violence threatens to keep her locked up for life as she fights for her voice and her freedom. At a tipping point for otherness in our current climate, THE SOUNDING champions it. The amazing TEDDY SEARS (The Politician, The Flash) is on the podcast this week. Teddy is a phenomenal actor who has done it all - soaps, superhero shows, prestige cable, you name it. We dive into all of it and revisit one of my favorite segments: bad audition stories! Teddy and his wife also had Covid and talked about their experience with that horrific illness. We spend the first bit of time talking about current events including Covid, Black Lives Matter, and the responsibility of using the platform you have. If you want to skip straight to acting talk and fun Hollywood stories, start at the 32 minute mark. We reference the latest proposal from SAG/DGA/WGA in the interview. Hi! My name is Terry J. Aman and this installment marks my 53rd episode of "VideoFuzzy," my twice-monthly progress report on cataloging more than 2,800 VHS transfers and digital recordings. In this installment, titled "We Are As Gods," I highlight a short-lived Steven Bochco courtroom cable drama "Raising the Bar," pulling up the pilot episode for my Friday Night Feature. In Cross Connections, I trace "Studio Six Feet Under" connections from that show through J. August Richards and Teddy Sears, then tracking actors Mark-Paul Gosselaar and J. August Richards' multiple appearances throughout my collection, as well as golden thread represented by Mark A. Sheppard. In my Classic VHS-to-DVD Collection, I found several fifth-season episodes of "24," along with a few episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus, featuring some racist language that has not aged well, but also featuring a couple of housewives pondering the human condition culminating in a visit to Jean-Paul Sartre, so these guys, you gotta take the good with the bad. Also, Tom Cavanagh in "Love Monkey" and The Daily Show's spoof of the Obama intro video at the 2008 DNC. Then, as the title reference for this entry, I found Tom Lenk as Andrew Wells in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," the seventh season episode "Storyteller," a scrap of video featuring The Trio dancing about in Elysium fields with gold and a unicorn singing "We Are As Gods." I took a run at recreating that here, and in all modesty .. nailed it. :D In my Nerd Shows, my Classic Collection also turned up an episode in a History Channel science series called "Evolve," tracking the evolution and adaptation of skin across so many millions of years and species. Fascinating. In my direct-to-DVD Current Collection, I discuss the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards, "Pose," "Preacher," "Claws" and "A Million Little Things." Samantha Bee highlights expanded reproductive services provided at clinics in southern states to expand public support. In VideoFuzzy at the Movies, I touch on broadcast presentations of "I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry," "Dragonwyck," "I Wake Up Screaming," "The Bishop Murder Case," "Hangover Square," "Spider-Man: Homecoming," "The Bone Collector" and "The Perfect Guy," as well as "Sweet Charity," "Steel Magnolias" and "Woman Times Seven," featuring Shirley MacLaine and Peter Sellers. Finally, I encountered the Turner Classic Movies presentation of Vanessa Redgrave and Dustin Hoffman in 1979's "Agatha," exploring the real-life disappearance of queen of crime Agatha Christie. I first heard about that intriguing little speculation on the "All About Agatha" podcast by Kemper Donovan and Catherine Brobeck, and you can check that out here. In What I've Been Watching, Ralph and I recently finished watching all episodes of "Polar Bear Cafe" on Crunchyroll, and in upcoming shows, we'll be taking in the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theater production of Michael Frayn's "Noises Off!" They do a great job and I'm very much looking forward to that.

The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Teddy Sears of Hallmark Channel's holiday movie “Christmas in Evergreen” In “Christmas in Evergreen,” Allie (Williams) is a veterinarian in Evergreen, Vermont but plans to spend Christmas in Washington D.C. with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Ryan (Sears) and his daughter Zoe (Jaeda Lily Miller, “Ready Jet Go!”), are going to Florida. On the way to the airport, they stop in Evergreen and see Allie trying to start her truck. There's an instant attraction, but thinking they'll never meet again, they part ways. Ryan and Zoe go to the diner which happens to be owned by Allie's mom, Carol (Niven). There, Zoe wishes on a magic snow globe that's said to grant all heartfelt desires and it looks like a snowstorm will do just that – Zoe wants to spend Christmas in Evergreen, and the airport has shut down! Stranded along with Ryan and Zoe, Allie takes them back to town but on the way, she stops to deliver a calf. The birth is just the beginning of a wonderful Christmas, including an unforgettable festival put on by enchanting Barbara (Peete) which turns out to be the most miraculous event ever. All of the events have everything to do with keeping Ryan, Zoe and Allie in Evergreen, and it appears to have a lot to do with a man named Nick (Keith Martin Gordey, Watchmen), who happens to know a little about Christmas magic.

The Justice Society of America was conceived by editor Sheldon Mayer and writer Gardner Fox. The JSA first appeared in All Star Comics #3 (Winter 1940–1941). VIXEN - Probably the most recognizable member of the JSA's cast this time around was Vixen -- at least for fans of the CWverse. In addition to having her own animated series, Vixen -- an African-American woman who derives the power of animals from the Tantu Totem she wears around her neck -- had a memorable guest appearance on Arrow last season. Of course, that's all Mari. This woman? Mari's grandmother, Amaya Jiwe, who passed the totem down through their family. HOURMAN - Rex Tyler, also known as Hourman, is a Golden Age superhero and the first of a number of characters to use the Hourman name. Tyler has a number of superhuman abilities, like enhanced strength, reflexes, and healing -- but only for an hour at a time. His abilities are given to him by Miraclo, a drug he designed himself. There is an Hourman legacy including Rex's son Rick and an android from the 853rd Century programmed to act as a member of the Tyler family. The android, at a point in the past, presented Rex with an hourglass infused with tachyons -- time in its most basic form -- and that hourglass would become part of both his and Rick's costumes. Said hourglass has been seen on board the Waverider on previous episodes of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.. STARGIRL - Stargirl is Courtney Whitmore. In the TV series, she exists in 1942 -- but in the original comics, she was created (and existed) in 1999, and was part of a "next generation" of Justice Society members who came up in the late '90s and early 2000s. Courtney Whitmore was created by Geoff Johns and Lee Moder, and has a famous backstory: Johns named her after (and based her personality on) his sister Courtney, who died in the explosion of TWA Flight 800 in 1996. COMMANDER STEEL - Commander Steel is Hank Heywood, Sr., the first in a line of DC heroes to use variations on the Steel moniker. A legend in the World War II era and a member of the All-Star Squadron and later the Justice Society of America, Heywood's body had surgically-implanted mechanized steel devices that allowed his body to work on a superhuman level. Originally just "Steel," he was promoted to Commander Steel by President Roosevelt in 1940 -- so while this is his first appearance in live action, it's timeline-accurate to call him Commander Steel by this point in his career since the story takes place in 1942. DOCTOR MID-NITE - Doctor Mid-Nite is a name shared by a number of blind super-heroes and physicians with the ability to see in the darkness, using blackout bombs and martial arts to gain an advantage over criminals. Doctor Mid-Nite was created by Charles Reizenstein and Stan Aschmeier, first appearing in All-American Comics #25. OBSIDIAN - Obsidian is the son of Golden Age Green Lantern Alan Scott, a founding member of the JSA in the comics. He and his sister Jade would go on to play an important role in the Justice Society's sinoff groups the Young All-Stars and Infinity, Inc., as well as eventually joining the Justice Society itself. He was also briefly affiliated with the Justice League. LEAVENWORTH - The United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth is a medium-security United States federal prison for male inmates in northeast Kansas. On Arrow, it was revealed that Leavenworth is where John Diggle is being held while awaiting his court martial. KRIEGER - There are basically two figures who could have inspired Baron Krieger, even though there is no specific Baron Krieger in DC Comics. The first is Baron Blitzkrieg: Originally a World War II German army officer, the man who would be Baron Blitzkrieg was blinded when a concentration camp prisoner threw acid into his face. German scientists experimented on him, giving him injections of experimental drugs which would give him incredible powers for brief periods of time. The other possibility is Albrecht Krieger, who was basically Captain America, but for Nazis. A genetically-modified super-soldier, Krieger also had a mad scientist brother and a psychic sister we might have to worry about if it's him -- and while the backstory feels a lot more like Blitzkrieg's, Krieger has not only the name but the general look of this week's threat. MAX LORENZ - Max Lorenz was a famous singer, who lived in Germany around the time of World War II and is widely known as "Hitler's favorite tenor." Of course, it's a handy thing that Legends of Tomorrow star Victor Garber has the pipes to make that scene convincing. UBERMENSCH - It's worth noting that there are several references to "Übermensch" in here, which is derived from Nietzsche in Thus Spake Zarathustra, one of the influences for Superman, which is more or less what the word translates to directly. The term can literally translate to "Overman," which in the DC Comics universe is an alternate-universe version of Superman who lives on an Earth where the Nazis won World War II.REVERSE-FLASH - Eobard Thawne, the Reverse-Flash, may have something up his sleeve. At the end of The Flash's Season 3 premiere earlier this month, he said that while his future was as it should be, Barry's might not be. Barry then went home to discover a number of small anomalies that made his life and those of his friends worse. Now, we learn that "somebody" is outfitting the villains of history with future tech in order to push the world to a slightly worse place. Could Eobard Thawne have stepped right out of "Flashpoint" and into "Out of Time?" Either way, seeing him and Darhk together is enough to make seasoned Arrowverse fans quake in their boots even before they know the other members of Thawne's little Legion of Doom. ARROW NEWS THE CW RENEWS ARROW, FLASH, SUPERGIRL AND LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (Date: 08 Jan 2017) Renewal will bring “Arrow” to Season Six, “The Flash” to Season Four, and “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow” each to Season Three. It will mark “Supergirl's” second season on The CW, following its freshman outing on CBS. However, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), still reeling from Detective Malone's murder, is bent on revenge – she wants to stop Prometheus at any cost. While in prison, Diggle (David Ramsey) fights for his life. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Brian Ford Sullivan. Link:https://www.comicbookmovie.com/tv/dc/arrow/laurel-lances-return-is-further-teased-in-synopsis-for-arrow-season-5-a147940 ARROW: THE CALCULATOR IS NOT RETURNING – YET (Date: 09 Jan 2017) According to executive producer Marc Guggenheim, Donna and the Calculator won't be back because the show is moving in a new direction. Guggenheim also teased that Felicity will a meet a few people in the back half of the season that are connected to her past. Additionally, he explained that Felicity's new, darker direction can't be blamed solely on Billy Malone's death. Rather, her experiences over the course of the show will culminate in her new attitude. “Billy was the final straw,” he said. “It's also the sum of the fact that Felicity has been living in this darker world for the last four-plus years now…. How has that affected her way of thinking about things?” He added that this will be directly addressed in Season 5 Episode 11. Link:http://www.cbr.com/arrow-the-calculator-is-not-returning-yet/ ARROW: Greg Berlanti Teases More Appearances From Laurel Lance Across The CW (Date: 10 Jan 2017) While it hasn't been confirmed 100%, it's a pretty safe bet that this Laurel is the evil Black Siren from Earth 2, who was originally introduced in The Flash last year. While her motivations remain unknown, Arrow producer Greg Berlanti has teased the character's involvement in more than just the events of Arrow's fifth season. “We made a deal at the end of [season 4] to bring her back for a bunch of episodes. Katie is a part of the fabric of the show. Because the show, like a comic book, can move in different ways, and characters go and come, everybody that's ever been a part of the key and core ensemble has always had a place at the table for our show. There's the capacity for her to be [in all four shows]. At this moment, she's in three of them.” Link:https://www.comicbookmovie.com/tv/dc/arrow/arrow-greg-berlanti-teases-more-appearances-from-laurel-lance-across-a148060 ARROW EPS ADMIT IT'S HARD TO DO THE SHOW WITHOUT A BLACK CANARY (Date: 11 Jan 2017) Co-showrunner Wendy Mericle said, “Look, it's hard to do a show about Green Arrow without having a Black Canary. I don't know if it will happen this season or when, but… we are going to be true to origins in the DC universe, and she's always going to be there.” So far on the show, three characters have carried the Canary name: Sara Lance, Laurel Lance and Evelyn Sharp. However, when the team arrives they discover that Rip has no memories of his past due to “time drift” and is just a graduate film student. After trying to convince Rip of who he was, they discover that he possesses an incredibly powerful artifact known as the Spear of Destiny, which the Legion of Doom is after. Ray (Bradon Routh) and Nate (Nick Zano) realize that the Aberration has also affected them personally making it difficult to help the team. Meanwhile, Rory (Dominic Purcell) asks Stein (Victor Garber) for help and makes him promise to keep it a secret from the team. Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh and Maisie Richardson-Sellers also star. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Chris Fedak. Link: https://www.comicbookmovie.com/tv/dc/legends_of_tomorrow/the-mystery-surrounding-rip-hunter-is-revealed-in-new-a147939 NEW LEGENDS OF TOMORROW EPS WILL STAR A WHOLE DIFFERENT RIP HUNTER (Date: 10 Jan 2017) The back half of season two kicks off on Tuesday, January 24 after the show's winter hiatus. That batch of episodes starts with an episode titled “Raiders of the Lost Art,” which guest stars a young George Lucas (or rather an actor named Matt Angel playing a young Lucas) and features the return of Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill). But Rip won't return the same as we previously knew him. Marc Guggenheim talked about the upcoming episodes and how the Spear of Destiny will impact the show. “The second half of the season is really paying off the Legion of Doom and what we now know is the MacGuffin of Season 2, the Spear of Destiny,” said Guggenheim. “Changing time is like painting with the biggest paintbrush possible; using the Spear of Destiny is like using a very, very fine-point technical pen.” Link: http://www.cbr.com/new-legends-of-tomorrow-eps-will-star-a-whole-different-rip-hunter/ The Girl Of Steel Visits Another World In Synopsis For Kevin Smith's Episode Of SUPERGIRL (Date: 05 Jan 2017) KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS; ROULETTE RETURNS — Kara (Melissa Benoist) is moved by the story of a missing woman named Izzy (guest star Harley Quinn Smith) and decides to investigate despite Snapper Carr's (guest star Ian Gomez) order to leave it alone. Kara takes Mon-El (Chris Wood) with her to the last place Izzy was seen and the duo find themselves thrust through a portal to another planet, Slaver's Moon, where the downtrodden are sold as slaves. The leader of the trafficking ring is none other than Roulette (guest star Dichen Lachman). To make matters worse, Slaver's Moon has a red sun, which means Kara and Mon-El are stripped of their powers and stuck on the planet with no way home. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Alex (Chyler Leigh) blames herself for Kara's disappearance, fearing she's become too focused on her new relationship with Maggie (guest star Floriana Lima) and too complacent in watching out for her sister. Kevin Smith directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Eric Carrasco & Jess Kardos. When a criminal named Plunder (guest star Stephen Huszar) shows up in Central City, Barry recalls the villain's presence in his vision of the future and fears that if he catches Plunder, it will cement Iris' fate. Confused about Barry's hesitation to stop Plunder, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) decides to step in as Kid Flash. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) offers Julian (Tom Felton) a job. Millicent Shelton directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & David Kob. According to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, the two-part story will have lasting ramifications on both shows. According to Kreisberg. “When we get to the musical episodes, both Barry and Kara will find themselves at pivotal crossroads on their respective series, and the experience of going through the musical will have a great impact on both series moving forward.” Executive producer Greg Berlanti confirmed the villain will indeed be the Music Meister, who can control people through song. What's more, the musical crossover will feature original songs and could include characters from any Earth or timeline in the “Arrow”-verse. No date has been announced for “The Flash”/”Supergirl” crossover. Link: http://www.cbr.com/supergirl-flash-musical-will-have-great-impact-on-both-shows/ DC COMICS' SOLOVAR ARRIVES IN FLASH'S TWO-PART GORILLA CITY STORY (Date: 09 Jan 2017) “The Flash” is taking a trip to Gorilla City in episodes 13 and 14 of season three. The series will also introduce a new telepathic gorilla straight from the comics, Solovar. Keith David will provide the voice of Solovar in the Gorilla Grodd-centric two-parter. David is a film and television veteran with a career spanning decades. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg announced the return of Grodd and Gorilla City during a presentation at the TCAs. Kreisberg also revealed that the two-parter will span multiple Earths. “One of the episodes will take place in Gorilla City [on Earth-2], and one of them will take place on Earth-1.” In the comics, Solovar — a psychic gorilla like Grodd — is the leader of Gorilla City. Under his rule, Gorilla City became a technological wonder. Solovar's involvement in “The Flash's” Grodd/Gorilla City two-parter makes sense considering that Solovar is Grodd's main rival (other than the Scarlet Speedster) in the comics. Link: http://www.cbr.com/dc-comics-solovar-arrives-in-flashs-two-part-gorilla-city-story/ BLACK FLASH TO RETURN ON ‘MULTIPLE' ARROWVERSE SERIES (Date: 08 Jan 2017) As expected, “The Flash” viewers haven't seen the last of Hunter “Zoom” Zolomon. However, when the character returns, it may not only be on that CW drama — and he may not be portrayed by Teddy Sears. Transformed by time wraiths into Black Flash and then pulled into the Speed Force in “The Flash's” Season Two finale, the villain will indeed race back into the Arrowverse.“I will say that you might be seeing him on multiple shows,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour. He didn't say which shows those are, or when fans can expect Black Flash's return. “[Black Flash] is a classic character. We have storylines on multiple shows that fit having him around,” he said. “There's something so scary about him, something even scarier than when he was just the man, because now it's now he is the Grim Reaper, he is the devil. How do you stop the devil? So it presents an interesting challenge for the heroes of the respective shows in which he appears.” Link: http://www.cbr.com/black-flash-to-return-on-multiple-arrowverse-series/ ‘Constantine' Back As Animated Series For CW Seed With Greg Berlanti Producing (Date: 08 Jan 2017) Constantine, which had a one-season run on NBC, will be back as an animated series for CW Seed. Five to six 10-minute episodes have been ordered. Matt Ryan, who starred in the live-action DC series, will voice the title character. Link: http://deadline.com/2017/01/constantine-back-animated-series-cw-seed-greg-berlanti-producing-matt-ryan-1201880788/ SUPERGIRL CASTS PETER GADIOT AS MISTER MXYZPTLK (Date: 07 Jan 2017) A new photo from the set of the CW drama reveals that actor Peter Gadiot, who played Cyrus on ABC's short-lived “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland,” has been cast as the classic Superman foe. However, we can see that the impish villain won't look anything like he does in the DC Comics source material, where he's traditionally depicted as an older, diminutive character. Created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Ira Yarborough for 1944's “Superman” #30, Mister Mxyzptlk is a mischievous imp from the fifth dimension who delights in tormenting the Man of Steel. Link: http://www.cbr.com/supergirl-casts-peter-gadiot-as-mister-mxyzptlk/ THE CW HAS ‘NO PLANS' FOR A SUPERMAN SERIES (Date: 08 Jan 2017) “Tyler did a great job,” The CW President Mark Pedowitz said. “There's no plan to do a series. There are no plans at the moment for him to return [to ‘Supergirl']. If they wish to have him return, we'd love to have him.” Link: http://www.cbr.com/the-cw-has-no-plans-for-a-superman-series/ THE FLASH Will Weave Kid Flash, Killer Frost And Gypsy Story Arcs Into Remaining Season 3 Episodes (Date: 07 Jan 2017) Armed with that knowledge Barry and his allies will be frantically searching for ways to prepare for an inevitable second round with the God of Speed. As for the rest of Team Flash, the co-showrunner adds that Gypsy (played by the recently cast Jessica Camacho of Sleepy Hollow) will be playing an important adversarial role in Cisco's budding superhero career, Caitlin will continue to wrestle with her Killer Frost alter ego and Wally West will continue to fly off the handle and cause trouble as Kid Flash. On the fourth episode of Season 2.5 of The Flash Podcast's summer season, Andy Behbakht is joined by several terrific guests, with Brian Roll (better known as the artist Odyssey Art Torch who we teamed up with for a giveaway a few months ago!) as well as Nerd Repository's Kyle Wilson (who guested on last year's summer season) and Alan Schuler, for the third character review for Season 2. As we have discussed several of the heroic supporting characters in the past few weeks, this week it's all about the big bad of Season 2 – Hunter Zolomon a.k.a. the terrifying Zoom, played by Teddy Sears. Throughout the discussion, the four nerds discuss Sears as Barry's latest villain who at first posed as Jay Garrick, the Flash of Earth-2 before being revealed as Zoom. How does Hunter compare to the show's first big bad, Eobard Thawne a.k.a. Reverse-Flash? What did they feel about Hunter's backstory and motivations? Who would they want to see as the big bad of Season 3? In addition, they discuss the big news of Arrow's John Barrowman signing on to be a series regular on not just Arrow, but also The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. How will the Dark Archer fit in on these other DC TV shows? That and more on the summer season of The Flash Podcast! In addition, check out Brian's new art of Hunter Zolomon a.k.a. Zoom below! [NOTE: This episode was recorded on Monday, July 11, which was the day BEFORE the news of Keiynan Lonsdale's Wally West becoming Kid Flash in Season 3 which is why there was no discussion about the news - but don't worry, we will talk about it on air next time!] Find The Flash Podcast on: Social Media: Facebook - @TheFlashPodcast - Instagram Subscribe: iTunes - Stitcher Radio - YouTube - DC TV Podcasts Contact: theflashpodcast@gmail.com

This week, we discuss everyone dying in the Walking Dead, Daredevil Season 2, Silicon Valley Comic Con, a quick interview with Teddy Sears, listener questions, and a non-spoiler talk around about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Starring Ryan Higgins, Jim Jokisch, Chris Noyes, Brock Sager, and Toby Sidler.

Don't sip that chamomile too quickly, you'll get stoned! Witness Whoopi Goldberg exploding into a flock of doves, Teddy Sears almost shirtless and Rachel Taylor wander the streets of New York without shoes on in the terrifyingly bad 666 Park Avenue. Join your hosts @maurae, @lafergs along with guests @as_seenontv & @kgrhymes to discuss the devil himself: Terry O'Quinn.
