Aaron Sheets - TWA FLIGHT 800 SOLVEDTrans World Airlines Flight 800 (TW800/TWA800) was a scheduled international passenger flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, United States, to Fiumicino Airport in Rome, Italy, with a stopover at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France. On July 17, 1996, at approximately 8:31 p.m. EDT, twelve minutes after takeoff, the Boeing 747-100 serving the flight exploded and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean near East Moriches, New York, United States. All 230 people on board died in the crash; it is the third-deadliest aviation accident in U.S. history. Accident investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) traveled to the scene, arriving the following morning  amid speculation that a terrorist attack was the cause of the crash. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and New York Police Department Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) initiated a parallel criminal investigation. Sixteen months later, the JTTF announced that no evidence of a criminal act had been found and closed its active investigationBut what actually happened? Does it all way up? Many questions remain stubbornly unanswered. Aaron Sheets may have those answers.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

Flight Crash In NY From The WTC Attack to Other Disasters. Special Episode. When the world thinks of catastrophic events in New York City, two significant tragedies come to mind: the World Trade Center (WTC) attack on September 11, 2001, and the devastating crash of TWA Flight 800 in 1996. These disasters, marked by unimaginable loss and sorrow, remain etched in the memories of those who lived through them and those who responded to the aftermath. Stacey Goodman, a retired Suffolk County, New York, Police Officer, is our guest on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast. The podcast episode is available for free on our website, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and most major podcast platforms. She witnessed both of these harrowing events firsthand. With a background as a Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team (DMORT) specialist for the Federal Government, Goodman was no stranger to tragedy. Her first experience in disaster response was the TWA Flight 800 crash, a tragedy that took the lives of all 230 passengers aboard. Years later, her training and federal security clearance led her to Ground Zero, where she worked tirelessly on the Pile for 23 days following the WTC attack. Flight Crash In NY From The WTC Attack to Other Disasters. Follow the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Newsbreak, Medium and most all social media platforms In an exclusive conversation, Goodman shared, “The weight of these experiences is something you carry with you forever. Working in the heart of such devastation, recovering human remains, and facing the unimaginable grief of victims' families is something that stays with you.” Look for supporting stories about this and much more from Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast in platforms like Medium, Newsbreak and Blogspot. Her book, The Dust Never Settles, chronicles her experiences and the lasting impact of her service. Goodman describes the challenges of confronting conspiracy theories that often emerge from these events. “There will always be people who question what happened, who suggest alternative narratives. For me, I know what I saw, what I touched, and what I felt. That reality is indisputable,” she shared. Follow the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and podcast on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Newsbreak, Medium and most all social media platforms The TWA Flight 800 crash, a tragedy that unfolded off the coast of Long Island, was initially suspected to be a terrorist attack. After a lengthy investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the FBI, the official cause was determined to be an explosion of flammable fuel vapors due to a short circuit. Despite the findings, conspiracy theories still linger, fueled by misinformation and conspiracy theorists. Many of whom spread their message across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). Flight Crash In NY From The WTC Attack to Other Disasters. The interview is available as a free podcast on the Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and podcast website, also available on platforms like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and most major podcast outlets. On September 11, 2001, the narrative of terrorism was tragically evident. The attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, along with the crash of United Airlines Flight 93, left an indelible scar on the nation. The collapse of the Twin Towers killed 2,753 people, while the Pentagon attack claimed 184 lives and Flight 93’s crash in Pennsylvania took the lives of 40 passengers. For Goodman, the aftermath of 9/11 was a grueling journey. “Working at Ground Zero was surreal,” she said. “We weren't just sifting through rubble—we were uncovering stories, lives, and the remnants of a tragedy that the world watched unfold in real-time.” Today, Goodman’s reflections resonate through her writing, public speaking, and podcast appearances on The Law Enforcement Talk Radio Show and Podcast, available for free on their website, in addition to Apple Podcasts, Spotify and many others. Her mission is to share the unfiltered reality of disaster response, honoring the victims and the resilience of those who endured unimaginable loss. Flight Crash In NY From The WTC Attack to Other Disasters. Check out the show on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Newsbreak, Medium and most all social media platforms Goodman's experiences serve as a reminder of the human cost of these tragedies. While platforms like LinkedIn may showcase her professional accomplishments, her story goes beyond the accolades. It is a testament to courage, sacrifice, and the resolve to face darkness while seeking light. In a world shaped by these tragedies, the voices of those like Stacey Goodman remind us of the lasting impact of loss and the strength required to carry its weight. Her story, both sobering and inspiring, echoes the need to approach these events with empathy, understanding, and respect for the truth. Shat the Movies: 80's & 90's Best Film Review

The '80s were a golden age for action films, and "The Delta Force" is no exception. Starring Chuck Norris and Lee Marvin, this Cannon Films classic delivers a high-octane mix of military heroism, motorcycle-mounted rockets and one of the most absurdly patriotic finales in cinema history. Loosely inspired by the real-life hijacking of TWA Flight 847, the film follows an elite commando unit as they take on Middle Eastern terrorists in a testosterone-fueled spectacle that only the '80s could produce. In this episode, the Shat Crew dives deep into the questionable military accuracy, over-the-top action sequences, and the sheer marketing genius behind "Delta Force "weaponry. Is this a patriotic masterpiece, a jingoistic fever dream, or just a Chuck Norris vehicle gone wild? Strap in as we break it all down—Uzi in one hand, American flag in the other. Plot Summary:When a commercial airliner is hijacked by terrorists, the elite U.S. military unit known as Delta Force—led by Colonel Nick Alexander (Lee Marvin) and Major Scott McCoy (Chuck Norris)—is called into action. As the hostages are taken to Beirut and divided by nationality and religion, McCoy and his team embark on a daring mission to rescue them Subscribe Now Android: https://www.shatpod.com/android Apple/iTunes: https://www.shatpod.com/apple Help Support the Podcast Contact Us: https://www.shatpod.com/contact Commission Movie: https://www.shatpod.com/support Support with Paypal: https://www.shatpod.com/paypal Support With Venmo: https://www.shatpod.com/venmo Shop Merchandise: https://www.shatpod.com/shop Theme Song - Die Hard by Guyz Nite: https://www.facebook.com/guyznite

Tonight, my special guest is author Donald Jeffries who's here to discuss his book called Hidden History: An Expose of Modern Crimes, Conspiracies, and Cover-Ups. The US government has spent half the time covering up conspiracies as it has spent helping the American people. In Hidden History, you will see the amount of effort over the past fifty years that our government has dedicated to lying and covering up the truth to the world. Starting with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Don Jeffries chronicles a wide variety of issues that have plagued our country's history. Whether it's the assassinations of MLK and RFK, Iran-Contra, the Oklahoma City bombing, TWA Flight 800, voting fraud, or 9/11, every major disaster or war that we've witnessed has somehow been distorted by those who are supposed to be protecting us. Jeffries also delves into extensive research on the death of John F. Kennedy Jr., and you'll be shocked by what he finds out. So whether you've only heard bits and pieces of these stories or have read several books on the topics, Hidden History is the book that belongs in every conspiracy theorist's library, as the information included in this encyclopedia has never been collected together in any other published work available. So sit down, strap in, and get ready to be shocked and awed by how much has been hidden from you by our government over the past fifty years. Skyhorse Publishing, as well as our Arcade imprint, are proud to publish a broad range of books for readers interested in history - books about World War II, the Third Reich, Hitler and his henchmen, the JFK assassination, conspiracies, the American Civil War, the American Revolution, gladiators, Vikings, ancient Rome, medieval times, the old West, and much more. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home. He also negotiated the surrender of the first hostage taker to give up in the Chase Manhattan Bank robbery. During Chris's 24-year tenure with the Bureau, he was trained in the art of negotiation by not only the FBI, but also Scotland Yard and Harvard Law School. He is also a recipient of the Attorney General's Award for Excellence in Law Enforcement and the FBI Agents Association Award for Distinguished and Exemplary Service. Chris has taught business negotiation in MBA programs as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, and at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. He also taught business negotiation at Harvard University and guest lectured at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, the IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland, and the Goethe Business School in Frankfurt, Germany. Since 2009, Chris has also worked with Insite Security as their Managing Director of the Kidnapping Resolution Practice. Chris's New Book Empathy and Understanding In Business In the business times of yesteryear, many did not believe that empathy and understanding mixed well with sound business decisions. However, with the more recent breed of entrepreneurs, many have increasingly recognized that successful and long-lasting relationships depend on using both empathy and understanding to build a solid foundation. The master of negotiation and Celebrity Expert(R) in this book, Chris Voss, reminds us that entrepreneurs want lasting relationships that build trust and clientele. He questions if anyone associates empathy with enterprise and entrepreneurism, and states that the qualities of trust and lasting relationships come out of understanding and respect for each other. In short, as stated by Brené Brown, "Empathy fuels connection." To learn more about negotiation and how the Celebrity Experts(R) herein have improved their negotiating skills, it would be beneficial to read about their accomplishments. They have honed their skills and can be great mentors. They will tell you what worked for them and what did not - saving you time, energy and cost of 'reinventing the wheel' - the path to success - in negotiating.

She is also an award-winning journalist highlighting women's issues, including divorce, domestic abuse, coercive control, and singlehood.  Myth Busting and Golden Nuggets includ Myth #1: “The Hysterical Woman.” Labeling women as "hysterical" diminishes their experiences and allows the cycle of abuse to continue. Myth #2: “Why didn't she just leave?” One reason: You need to have a safe exit plan, which takes time and planning. Myth #3: If there isn't physical violence, it's not really abuse. The more we tell stories of domestic abuse, the more aware we can become.  Myth #4: “It only happens in poor families.” Domestic abuse doesn't discriminate and affects people across all socioeconomic backgrounds. Myth #5: “What happens in someone's home is a private matter.” Domestic abuse isn't a private issue; it has societal repercussions.  What you can do to help break the cycle of abuse and raise awareness. **************************************** About this week's special guest: Amy Polacko Amy Polacko is a Freedom Warrior - and is committed to helping women live life on their own terms during/after a toxic relationship or divorce. Today we are joined by Retired FBI agent Bobby Chacon, who led the dive team searching for the rest of Laci Peterson's remains in east San Francisco Bay, after her torso was discovered on the shore. Bobby recounts in deep detail what it was like on the ground during the search, his observations about the site and what he thinks happened to Laci and Conner. Bobby describes the autopsy photos he viewed himself of Laci and Conner taken both at the site where they were recovered, and also at the lab during the autopsy. His experience with previous water recoveries (like the tragic TWA Flight 800 wreck) are very important and give greater context to this case. He also drops a bombshell that we've never heard about the case regarding a witness who observed Scott Peterson on the water that day. When you think of missing person cases, you might imagine groups of volunteers scouring fields or search dogs sifting through a forest or even faces on milk cartons from a past life. But not all disappearances are landlocked. Some crimes are buried deep beneath cold water, which is why it takes a specially trained individual to search depths where no one else can or will go. To tell the unique story of these professional divers is none other than Bobby Chacon – former FBI Special Agent, as well as the man who helped create the FBI Dive Team. Bobby is here to uncover what really happens to bodies underwater and during a plane crash like the infamous TWA Flight 800 when an airplane full of 230 passengers completely snapped in half mid-air after leaving JFK. Plus, he shares his experience of leading the dives for both Laci Peterson and Samantha Koenig – the last victim of serial killer Israel Keyes.
