The 2026 F1 season keeps delivering headlines and we're unpacking all of it ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix. Kimi Antonelli arrives in Montreal leading the championship after an unbelievable three wins from three pole positions at just nineteen years old. Ferrari is reportedly reverse-engineering its own car after a “soul-destroying” Miami weekend. Max Verstappen spent 24 hours driving a Mercedes at the Nürburgring and somehow finished P38. Charles Leclerc has taken delivery of a $20 million Riva superyacht… named after himself, naturally. And Lewis Hamilton was spotted leaving Kim Kardashian's Broadway production hand-in-hand with Kim herself. After three weeks on the road, Elle is finally back in the studio with Pat to break down all the latest headlines, rumours and storylines from the world of Formula 1. Find us @paddock43.
This week on the Paddock 43, Pat sits down (virtually) with American F1 content creator Sarah Kaye for a fun and candid chat all about her journey into Formula 1 and the world of motorsport content creation. Sarah opens up about how she first fell in love with the sport, what inspired her to start creating F1 content online, and how her platform has grown within the motorsport space. The pair also dive into Sarah's recent experience at the Miami Grand Prix, where she attended as a guest of the FIA, sharing behind-the-scenes insights from one of F1's biggest race weekends. Plus, Pat and Sarah break down all the latest storylines heading into the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix and give their predictions for what could unfold in Canada.
Nick Yelloly had a very successful 2026 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. He earned pole position, and along with his teammate Renger van der Zande, also won the race in his Acura ARX-06 IMSA GTP car! Nick took the usual route to sports car racing success. He started in karting as a kid and moved up the open-wheel ladder in Europe competing in Formula Renault, GP3, and GP2. He then switched to sports cars winning the China GT Championship as well as competing stateside and winning with the RLL BMW GTP team. He switched to Acura in 2025 and has continued his success. Meanwhile, he's also been an F1 test driver since 2014 and is currently doing those duties for the Aston Martin F1 team. We caught up with Nick just after his post-race winning press conference where he spent a few moments filling us in on his keys to victory. Enjoy!photo courtesy of Acura

As F1 pre-season testing gets underway in Bahrain, Jeff Slack, Aston Martin F1's Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing, lifts the lid on how the team intends to reach the front of the grid. He reflects on the way the team has grown to over 1,100 people since it was rebranded as Aston Martin in 2021, its move into a new purpose-built facility at Silverstone and, after a 7th place finish in 2025, how owner Lawrence Stroll has set the course towards competing for world championships in the next few years, with the help of Honda and Aramco. Slack also draws on his wider sports industry experience, including stints in leadership roles at Inter Milan and IMG, to assess the overall health of F1 and the way it's evolving for brand partners as the 2026 season dawns - and reveals what the sport must be wary of as it enjoys its current fan and corporate boom.--- Leaders Week London is moving to Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC. This week, we have the latest in our series of F1 team principal interviews as we meet Ayao Komatsu at the HQ of Haas, F1's smallest team. What Haas may lack in headcount, they more than make up for in team spirit, as this engaging interview reveals. Ayao has been at Haas since the team debuted in 2016. Last season Gene Haas picked him to succeed the charismatic, but sweary Guenther Steiner as team principal. Ayao was born in Japan and moved to England as a teenager to study English and pursue his dream of working in F1. He rose through the ranks as an engineer with Lotus and Renault, where he worked closely with Romain Grosjean. As a highly competitive F1 season comes to a close, Haas is fighting Aston Martin and Racing Bulls for 6th in the Constructors' Championship. Ayao reflects on some key decisions taken earlier this season, which have boosted Haas' recent competitiveness. Ollie Bearman equalled the team's best ever result with P4 in Mexico and then backed that up with another strong points haul in Brazil. Joining James Allen in the studio for a wraparound chat is former Red Bull and Aston Martin F1 technical leader Dan Fallows. In F1 the numbers never lie; whether it's zeros on a paycheck, thousandths of a second on a stopwatch or points of downforce on a new front wing. At the halfway stage of the F1 World Championship, the points tables for drivers and constructors tell their own story. McLaren are well ahead in both; Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull trail badly. But by looking at the underlying numbers we can spot trends and learn more about what's really going on this season and what might happen in the second half. We did this at the quarter stage and now at we look again, after 12 rounds in this 24 race F1 World Championship. Joining James Allen are special guest Dan Fallows - one of the top F1 engineers of the last two decades, he headed up the Red Bull aero department from the Sebastian Vettel era up to the first ground effect car in 2022 and was most recently Technical Director of Aston Martin F1 team. Also joining us are F1 data guru Rob Smedley, of Smedley Group and Autosport's Jake Boxall-Legge.
