According to complaints, the initial vote disadvantaged female candidates. However, Rich speculates that the real reason Hogg is on the verge of being replaced is because he has threatened to spend $20 million primarying moderate Democrats in the House of Representatives. 3:10pm- According to a report from Politico, internal polling suggests that Senator John Fetterman's (D-PA) support with Pennsylvania-based Democrats has faded—with only 46% having a “favorable” opinion of him currently. Meanwhile, New York Magazine reports that staffers for Fetterman are voicing concerns about the state of his mental health. But are these stories suddenly being pushed because Fetterman has vocally opposed the far-left? While speaking with reporters on Capitol Hill last week, Fetterman called the article a “hit piece” and noted that it only has one source. 3:20pm- While promoting his new book, “Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” CNN's Jake Tapper revealed that a White House physician informed then-President Joe Biden's aides that he might require the assistance of a wheelchair in his second term if he were to continue falling. While Tapper is reporting on these stories now, why wasn't he doing so prior to Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 presidential election? 3:35pm- While speaking with Ross Douthat of The New York Times, Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) struggled to defend his position that biological males should be permitted to participate in women's sports. Rich jokes: this might the worst answer to a question since Kamala Harris's appearance on The View just before the 2024 presidential election. 3:40pm- Democrat political strategist James Carville is now imploring his party to stop using terms like “intersectionality” and “oligarch”—noting that common Americans don't use those terms and “don't know what the f*** you're talking about.” 3:55pm- While speaking from Riyadh, President Donald Trump announced that Saudi Arabia will be investing $600 billion in the United States economy—focusing on technology development and including a $142 billion defense sales agreement. PLUS, should President Trump accept a $400 million plane from Qatar? According to reports, it would replace the current Air Force One—which is nearly 40 years old—and would eventually be gifted to the Trump Presidential Library after Trump leaves office in 2029.

We then move to Jake Tapper of CNN and grifting for his book about how everyone in the White House lied to the press about Joe Biden's health issues. This is not about bringing the knives out for Joe Biden. This is about a Legacy/mainstream media desperate to look like they are fearlessly reporting the “truth” so they can go on bashing Trump with their newfound virtue. It's all a PsyOp. To remind you of their lies, I play some bites of Jake Tapper related to Russiagate. Then we play bites from Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), Rep. Daniel Goldman (D-NY), Karine Jean-Pierre and President Joe Biden (D) about needing more power to close the border. On top of that, we have more news about how the Biden Labor Department cooked the books by over-inflating the new jobs numbers in 2024. Now that white farmers are being slaughtered in South Africa, President Trump has granted those who flee, refugee status. This prompted the Episcopal church to cancel it's mission to help resettle foreign refugees in the United States. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), the Democrat's Village Idiot, has a comment about educated people. Looks like the DEI rules inside the DNC may cause the ousting of DNC Vice Chair David Hogg. JD Vance finally found his special purpose. The US economy is beginning to cave in. It is weird how that seems to coincide with the Trump Tariffs. Trump explains that anything going wrong in this term will be Joe Biden's fault, and to just wait for his third or so term to make any judgement. In the meantime, you might need to cut back to two dolls or two Big Macs when you had planned on buying maybe 30. Pete Kegsbreath can't be more of an idiot, although he does put in daily effort to do so. Pete attended Trump's latest anal appreciation session and was personally singled out by Trump, which is a sure sign that… Mike Walz was to be bumped off. Oh well, plenty of morons where he came from. ICE isn't allowed to deport people, so how about the DoD? Ok, it's the DMV, then. Donald asked if Abrego Garcia could come back, but El Salvador said no, so that's that. The US has finally arranged to drink Ukraine's milkshake. Purportedly. Trump and paperwork, man. When it comes to Harlem vs. Harvard, Donald prefers the one where Blacks know their place. Trump is unconcerned with laws, because he plans to be the law. If you really enjoy grifting, go where the graft is, the Executive Branch. If you want to appeal to Democrats… I don't know, go wherever you see those hippy types. More Democrats need to go wherever Chris Murphy and Elizabeth Warren are.

Murphy is the junior senator from Connecticut and a vehement critic of leaders in his party who've taken a “business as usual” approach in dealing with the Trump administration. He opposed Chuck Schumer's negotiation to pass the Republican budget and keep the government running and Murphy advocated for the democrats to skip the president's joint address to congress en masse. He believes that his party has a winning formula if they stick to a populist anti-big-money agenda and he despairs that some in his party aren't responding appropriately to what he sees as a crisis. With congressional Republicans unwilling to put any checks on an Administration breaking norms and issuing illegal orders, the focus has shifted to the Democratic opposition—or the lack thereof.  Democrats like Chris Murphy, the junior senator from Connecticut, have vehemently disagreed with party leaders' reversion to business as usual. Murphy opposed Senator Chuck Schumer's negotiation to pass the Republican budget and keep the government running; he advocated for the Democrats to skip the President's joint address to Congress en masse. Murphy believes that the Democrats have a winning formula if they stick to a populist, anti-big-money agenda. But, he concedes, some of his colleagues are playing normal politics, “where we try to become more popular than Republicans. It's News Day Tuesday! Sam and Emma are joined by Austin Kocher, political and legal geographer studying immigration enforcement, and Assistant Research Professor at Syracuse University. First, Sam and Emma run through updates on Israel's  bombardment of Gaza – breaking another ceasefire and killing hundreds – Trump's back-and-forth with the judicial system, DOGE's assault on the US Government, Trump's union-busting pick for NLRB General Counsel, Trump's crackdown on pro-Palestinian speech, the FDA's move to delapidated office spaces, an abortion arrest out of Texas, and Trump's attack on the Social Security Administration, before expanding on Israel's violation of a ceasefire in Gaza with strikes killing over 300, and setting the stage for a potential return to ground invasion. Professor Austin Kocher then joins, diving right into the Trump Administration's recent deportation of hundreds of Venezuelans to El Salvadorian “gulags” under the guise of association with militant gang “Tren de Aragua,” exploring the unsurprising revelations about the *lack* of association between many of these migrants and the gang, and why authoritarian President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele was so happy to bring these migrants into his expansive prison labor system ($6 million will help). Next, Professor Kocher steps back to assess the insane legal “strategy” grounding Trump's agenda, with his blantant push for chaos allowing for his regime to carry out astonishingly inhumane actions amid countless injuctions and court orders, and why Judge Boasberg's push to get attourney's to sign onto their arguments might create some liability moving forward. After expanding on the regime's obvious misrepresentation of who they are deporting, Austin, Sam, and Emma walk through the various layers of protection offered to immigrants in the US right now, including preemptive legal action, and knowing your rights, before wrapping up the interview by assessing exactly how absurd Trump's claim of an “invasion” truly is. And in the Fun Half: Sam and Emma watch White House Spox. Karoline Leavitt attempt to claim verbal court orders don't count, reflect on Trump's growing friction with the courts, and unpack Steve Bannon's and Fox News' respective attempts to defend Trump's invocation of the Alien Enemies Act. SEASON 3 EPISODE 109: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (1:45) SPECIAL COMMENT: How do you remove a Senate Democratic Leader? CAN you remove a Senate Democratic Leader? Oh my, yes. You can do it before the top of the hour. Certainly before tomorrow. I'll lay it out for you. It can happen provided you note Schumer is having a book event tonight at the Enoch Pratt Central Library in Baltimore at 7 PM. It takes a little guts. Takes angry civilians. Takes the 36 Senate Democrats and one Independent whom Chuck Schumer betrayed to stick their necks out again. Takes the whole lot of them to run the minor risk of fracturing the Senate caucus or the Democratic Party - but why not? It's not like they're doing anything. Not when TWO new polls suggest Democrats are fed up with this group, that vast majorities demand RESISTANCE to Trump, not bipartisan crap, that the leader who best represents the ideals of the party is AOC (10%) as opposed to Obama (4%) and Schumer (2%) and worst of all - nobody (30%). We should be talking about resistance, about Trump being twelve points underwater on the economy, about Musk retweeting the claim that Hitler didn't commit the holocaust, his public sector workers did, about Trump beginning to defy court orders to illegally deport people to third-party strongman states. But we're not - because of Chuck Schumer. Time for him to GO. B-Block (23:45) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The world is coming apart and Politico devoted its lead 26 paragraphs to a journalism party. Alina Habba is a moron, Part 9,763. And Marco Rubio and the "president" of El Salvador are mocking American law. See you at the World Court, boys. C-Block (33:40) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: I'm under the weather and that always flashes me back to the day I was 21 and my doctor since my childhood gave me some muscle relaxants without warning me of the side effects. Hilarity ensued.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Best Of Mark Levin - 3/8/25

Mark Levin Podcast

This week on the Mark Levin Show, Sen. Chris Murphy and other Democrats met with Ukrainian President Zelensky before his meeting with Trump, urging him not to sign the minerals deal. The Democrats advised Zelensky to prioritize security arrangements. The Democrats' actions undermined Trump's deal, and Zelensky was foolish enough to go along with it. President Zelensky is playing into Putin's hands! He needs to suck it up, apologize to President Trump and do what's right for his country and sign that minerals deal. It benefits the Ukrainian people with U.S. capital investment, the presence of untold numbers of American businesses and citizens, the gradual re-building of the Ukrainian infrastructure, and the American national security interests that flow from it, etc. Russia and China would be furious with such a deal as the United States will acquire much-needed rare earth minerals. China's out there trying to grab Taiwan, islands from the Philippines and Japan, and claiming the South China Sea like it's their backyard—teaming up with Russia and cozying up to Iran and Saudi Arabia with the world's biggest navy. President Trump delivered an exceptional, historic speech that was intriguing, motivating, exciting, and funny, outshining many other speeches. The Democrats' disgraceful behavior—like not applauding a 13-year-old boy with brain cancer honored by the Secret Service—shows they're disgraceful and unfit to run anything. Also, the Supreme Court's dismissal of Trump's attempt to freeze foreign aid is a disgraceful ruling, exposing Justice Amy Coney Barrett's clear contempt for him. The Democrats and the DC ruling class want us to hate those who are cutting waste, fraud, and abuse, and they want us to hate the cutting of waste, fraud, and abuse. But we don't hate them, and we don't hate the cutting. The Democrats and the ruling class need to go on a diet and try to live $6.5 trillion in federal spending. It's only half-a-trillion more than it was two years ago, when we seemed to get by ok. But believe the Democrats and the DC ruling class. They've never lied to us before. So what if the GAO says $250 - $500 billion is blown every single year. We, the people, exist to fund this government, to serve this government, and keep our mouths shut.
