Welcome to 2021. I hope all of you have had a restful holiday season. The first remote drill of calendar year 2021 has been accomplished. As we look on the past year we dealt with a pandemic, we had an inspection by the Air Combat Command Inspector General team. In a sense of deja vu the pandemic is still with us and the IG team will be back in Oct. Social distancing will be the norm for some time to come but vaccinations are arriving so there is light at the end of the tunnel. Social unrest that has been with us for several months has continued. The recent events in Washington D.C. has prompted the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Air Force to send out messages meant for all of the members of the U.S. military. Our leadership has reminded us that we all swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Be the positive example that the country is looking for during these times. We will continue to support the missions assigned to us. Currently we have over 100 of our brothers and sisters deployed in support of Combatant Commanders. Closer to home our Medical Group has again activated members to send them to COVID hotspots in support of the Commonwealth. Let's keep all of those working the missions in our thoughts. In the larger context of preparing for mission accomplishment as part of the national defense strategy the wing leadership has published strategic goals. The goals are aligned with AFI 1-2 Commander's Responsibilities and the Major Graded Areas from 90-201. The four areas are Managing Resources, Leading People, Improving the Unit and Executing the Mission. These goals also line up to support the 2018 National Defense Strategy along with two newer documents put out by our Chief of Staff General Charles Q. Brown. The tasks ahead of us are designed to increase our readiness to the joint force. The NDS points to two large state actors as our competition, China and Russia. I will refer to several documents that are available to all that helped to connect our Wing Goals for the future. If you have not read the 2018 National Defense Strategy please do so. Also please download "Accelerate Change or Lose" which comes to us from the Chief of Staff of the Air Force General Charles Q. Brown. To support that document he has also put out a series of Action Orders to support what needs to be accomplished. At our level Col Riley has published a slide with his overall goals and many of the metrics we will look at to see when we achieve those goals. As you look at the goals and the metrics please try to visualize how you could help make those goals a reality. One example is under goal of partnering with academia to improve the unit we want to have two Continous Process Improvement events. That takes people trained as Green Belts. That training is available for free, we will compensate personnel that finish it. Another area is developing a two year revolving schedule. We want to try to get out of the too many last minute changes or personnel being surprised by suspenses. The schedule will display two years and get an annual update each year. How can each of us help to make this a unit of choice and develop multi capable Airmen? One of the metrics is to get our performance reports to greater than 85% on time. This is not just a supervisor responsibility. No one cares more about your career than you. As the Ratee make sure your supervisor has all the information they need to give you all the feedback and generate the document as quickly as possible. Under the readiness goal we are planning exercises in June that will be an evaluated using unit's Mission Essential Tasks. For June 2021 each group is establishing an exercise. We will build upon this years planning to support a longer term goal to hold a wing wide exercise in June 2022. All members need to understand what their tasks and how to execute them. The next step is to know how you would do your job when there are constraints placed on you and your unit. With all of the preparations for the readiness exercises on going please do not lose sight of the inspection that will occur in October 2021. The ACC IG will be back to look at us. In many ways the preparations and review of programs required for the CAPSTONE will help us in our preparations for enhancing our readiness. Thos programs are in MICT to cause us work. MICT as a tool helps to keep our programs going forward. Work with the assessor and the unit SAPM to ensure you unit's self-assessment program is up to speed. I would like to end this message with a thank you to all of you. The personnel listening to this message make up one of the most capable military organization in the Air Force. Our future and its success are in your hands.

Appreciation of the Guidance that comes to me in the night. I am InDaCarSeat DaTGuY who he/she who loves me delivered again. Oh my gosh, it scares me to have such a protective force. Whatever whoever it may be to YOU- InDaCarSeat DaTGuY is blessed. So Blessed and highly favored that elevates something that he has said to restrain as detriment to the world people. He pushes me to be a little “Arrogant”. And I, InDaCarSeat DaTGuY, Terry Dwayne Ashford, personally refuses remembering the earlier instructions. Arrogance is a worldly way that guides the emotions of the povertized souls. To anger poverty show them your arrogance. InDaCarSeat DaTGuY is so blessed that his spirit makes a grown man cry. In his secret, in his soul, grown MEN of distinction BOW to this power. Because it is a distinction that he has come to someone so clearly to have shown his omniscience. We are the blessed ONES because as someone has said before in a cliche he has “chosen ones”. A chosen ONE would never say “He or She is CHOSEN” as that would be the arrogance which he defies. But we KNOW as he comes in the night to reveal our closeness to him in times when others may have failed. He has come again. And we have an InDaCarSeat DaTGuY public statement from Terry Dwayne Ashford. One of Forgiveness. Let me take you back to a presidential-like speech done by Terry Dwayne Ashford before he was made InDaCarSeat DaTGuY. And I will link that speech to this June 22, broadcast. For June 22nd public statement of Forgiveness, I Terry Dwayne Ashford was instructed to tell MEN of all races, that I forgive them for being MEN under instructions. I forgive YOU- and am working on looking in your faces again. This forgiveness does not denote having changed my opinions about WHAT it is that you do or what you should do. My forgiveness is for ME and for compliance to he/she who has favored InDaCarSeat DaTGuY. InDaCarSeat DaTGuY never wants to sound like a preacher, priest or a rabbi. However, he knows who HE IS, in such a way that knowledge of this fact requires that InDaCarSeat DaTGuY never appear above his peers. And that is whether HE is or Not. My forgiveness come to men on June 22, and requires no additional action be taken from MEN. Or the women who were guided by the plot. He tells me to acknowledge being his chosen and that is HARD for the person who faces you in the world. However, my actions and my words from my mouth recites this morning “I comply to THEE.” And move ON! Forgiveness does not mean approach InDaCarSeat DaTGuY or that any actions would be different than applying forgiveness to the man’s heart. You should not act on InDaCarSeat DaTGuY’s forgiveness statement. Forgiving does not mean “I am gonna be with one” it means I can “Look at one saying WOW backed with understanding and a protective force so close that InDaCarSeat DaTGuY can smile, and wish that person ONWARD. In closure-the act or instruction of using race based selection of MEN sleeping with MEN is inappropriate. Just as inappropriate as an adulterer of his marriage to a woman. To have both bundled up into one action - creates a monstrosity to the world. And that even DEFIES the man’s relevance to the world which may have even been his. This statement solidifies understanding and forgiveness by InDaCarSeat DaTGuY, Terry Dwayne Ashford - and we move ONWARD with the “DaTGuY Charts” First artist to take the top spot, Polo G begins our broadcast for June 22, 2020. Travel Gluten Free Podcast Bonus Episode Podcasters for Justice    We All Deserve Equal Rights   In light of the civil unrest that has been happening for over half a century, I wanted to support my friends who are podcasters of color. My best friend is black, I have many black friends in the podcasting community. Although I’ve treated all human beings fairly and with respect, I don’t feel that I can speak on behalf of people that have been persecuted and had their rights infringed upon because of the color of their skin.   As an anthropology student, I learned that race was created as a hierarchical structure to keep white men in control. Similarly, white men developed a list of what “women cannot do” to prevent females from becoming equals in the eyes of men. Women of color, in particular, I feel have had multiple challenges not because of who they are or what they do but because of the genetic factor of skin color.   I’ve always believed this to be an injustice. I enjoy spending time with people of all races and skin colors as I see all people on this Earth as human beings. Treating people with respect is not a privilege; it is a right, and the people of this Earth should act according to this universal law of decency. To do otherwise is to bring down yourself and humanity along with it.   Travel Gluten Free Supports Juneteenth and #Black Lives Matter   For June 19th, I wanted to share my support of my friends, who are podcasters of color. I felt to have a message that speaks from experience as a person who has lived with this injustice is more appropriate than for myself, a female caucasian, to be talking about this story. Graciously, Danielle Desir, a female podcaster of color, and friend offered her original audio to republish on my platform.  The following PSA is original content from Danielle Desir’s podcast The Thought Card    “With so much happening in the world, it’s easy to feel helpless, especially if you’re not out protesting. However, as podcasters, we have platforms where we can speak out against racism and police brutality. Collectively, we have built engaged audiences that listen to our voices regularly, and with a coordinated effort, we can combine our voices to take a strong stance against racism and police brutality.  We serve many audiences, but we can speak with one voice. One voice that does not mince words and demands justice. We created this simple PSA (public service announcement) for podcasters or any content creator to post and share in hopes that we can come together across digital spaces to support the work of activists on the front lines of change, who risk themselves daily to create a better world for us all.  Please join us in taking a stand during this critical time by issuing the following statement on your podcast or other digital platform(s): We are (podcasters/bloggers/Youtubers/influencer/etc.) united to condemn the tragic murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and many many others at the hands of police. This is a continuation of the systemic racism pervasive in our country since its inception, and we are committed to standing against racism in all its forms.  We believe that to be silent is to be complicit. We believe that Black lives matter. We believe that Black lives are more important than property. We believe that we have a responsibility to use our platforms to speak out against this injustice whenever and wherever we are witnesses to it. In creating digital media we have built audiences that return week after week to hear our voices, and we will use our voices to speak against anti-blackness and police brutality, and we encourage our audiences to be educated, engaged, and to take action. “ Here are three ways you can participate and make a difference: Read the above statement on your next show release and post the above statement and graphic to your social media feeds.  George Floyd Memorial Fund Minnesota Freedom Fund Black Visions Collective Campaign Zero Black Lives Matter Donate a portion of your show proceeds and ask audience members to donate to any of the following: Text “Floyd” to 55156 to sign a petition to demand justice for George Floyd. She is an author, travel and personal finance writer, podcaster, and speaker. “Money impacts nearly everything we do, so why not be honest and transparent about it and most of all, help each other by sharing what we’ve learned along the way.”   On her podcast, she talks about how to find the best travel deals, fabulous travel destinations, practical tips for saving money, investing, homeownership, and other financial and travel subjects.   In her spare time, she enjoys visiting local breweries, hiking, and finding breathtaking viewpoints and listening to informative podcasts. Well, at least throughout the lower-middle price ranges in the market, it looks as though we might be drifting back toward a seller’s market where price appreciation will reaccelerate. According to CoreLogic, home prices went up by 3.6% over the last 12 months. At 0:40 in the video above, you’ll find a chart that forecasts the year-over-year net change in price for each state in America. Overall, the prediction is that prices will increase by 4.5% throughout the United States in the coming year. By the time my next report comes out, I think that the projected number is going to be over 5%! In Pennsylvania, they’re already predicting that prices will increase by 5.6%, and for New Jersey, they predict a change of 6.2%. With supply and interest rates being low, and with more buyers looking for homes, we’re still looking at a supply-and-demand situation. Now, whenever we talk about prices going up, there is always a group of people who are thinking of selling their home so they can move on to buying their dream home—these are called “trophy homebuyers.” And understandably, trophy homebuyers will worry about if they can afford to buy now. Affordability is determined by three things: Price Wages, or the ability to earn Interest rates Even though home prices are going up, if we take a look at the report released by the NAR, you’ll see that the percentage of income needed to buy a median-priced home is down to 15.7%. This same time last year, that percentage was at 18.2%, and the historic norm is 21.2% Taking everything into consideration, it’s much more affordable to purchase a home now than it has been in the past.  “Now’s the perfect time to make some money.” CoreLogic also broke down the typical mortgage payment that buyers commit to. The most recent reports from June show that the typical payment was $878, which is less than it was a year previous and much less than it was in January of 2000. For June of 2020, it’s projected that the typical mortgage payment for buyers will be $899, which is more than this year, but still less than it was just a year ago. Overall, this means home affordability is in good shape. If this news isn’t good enough for you, take a look at what Frank Nothaft, the chief economist for CoreLogic, had to say about home equity: “Borrower equity rose to an all-time high in the first half of 2019 and has more than doubled since the housing recovery started. Combined with low mortgage rates, this rise in home equity supports spending on home improvements and may help improve balance sheets of households who take out home equity loans to consolidate their debt.” Also, with home equity increasing so dramatically, you might now have enough in equity to use as a down payment to move up to the home of your dreams or to downsize. Now’s the perfect time to make some money. The fall is the ideal time to start thinking about things you could be doing to your home to increase its value for a 2020 sale. If you’re thinking of buying a home next year, there are also things you can to do find your dream home at the lowest price—I call this advanced real estate planning, and as your real estate planner, I believe it’s important to start earlier than you might think when it comes to one of the largest assets you own. If you don’t start now, you’ll lose every opportunity to do the things that bring you the highest return on your investment. To learn all about my strategy and get a free copy of my book, “How to Fight the Home Selling Sharks,” I encourage you to attend my next home selling seminar on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Fort Washington Garden Inn at 9:30 a.m. You can also find my book on Amazon right now to get an early start on it.

The first thing you need to know is that In the Dark is not perfect by any means. It’s questionable portrayal of people living with blindness is fumbly to say the least. The plot can become insufferable (are all the cops questionable?). And Murphy (our main and favorite anit-hero played by Perry Mattfeld) has a very unusual attitude towards everyone who gives her advice in real life.In the Dark follows Murphy and her amazingly cute guide dog Pretzel as they go for a walk in Chicago. When Murphy arrives to meet a friend of hers named Tyson, she discovered he’s been murdered. From then on, she’s on the hunt for his killer. Murph doesn’t make the best detective, so naturally she teams up with a real detective - Dean who is also on the case to try and solve things. In the Dark isn’t a week by week crime drama, but instead, each piece of the puzzle is solved week by week in a slow agonizing basis. When not solving crime, Murphy is hanging out with her roommate Jess Damon (Brooke Markham) and her coworker/ brand-new-boss Felix Bell (Morgan Krantz). They have the kind of friendship/ relationship you can expect from a CW film, filled with love and then during the rising action is strained until the climax when they make it all work again. Oh and there’s a love interest that goes on and off the grid depending on what episode we’re on.Look, I couldn’t stop watching the show. It was pretty good and held my attention. I say give it a watch on a Friday night if you’re not looking for anything too serious, but don’t want to dive into the silly side of things. Watch. This show is a roller coaster and there is so much to unpack! Every episode is a turn in another direction that had me guessing what was going to become of June and Oscar till the end. What happens after you die? Forever is a show in a long line trying to answer it. Oscar (Fred Armisen, back again!) and June (Maya Rudolph) are a couple who aimed to keep everything calm. This show captures beautifully the monotony of life: the same meals over and over and over, the same trips, the same routine. Then one day you die. Forever very quickly propels you through their lives and more importantly to their deaths (it’s kinda a spoiler, but not really) to ask a much bigger question: Just because you’re dead, does that mean your life is over? For June, after Oscar’s sudden death she was ready to jumpstart her career and her new post-Oscar life before she choked to death on a macadamia nut. She awakes with Oscar, elated and standing over her. The greet after a year apart and start their afterlife in post mortem pleasantville. So who will they become now? Do they fall back in step with the old ways? The trailer does not prepare you for what this first season holds and neither will I.This show is beautiful in so many ways: the cinematography, the editing, the character development, the story. I fell in love and hated the characters all at the same time. I was rooting for them to stay together and figure it out or just cut bait and run.Fred Armisen gives a stellar performance but Maya Rudolph really owns this show. She has come so far since Saturday Night Live and I love every moment of it. I have never seen her in a drama, but damn can this woman act.I loved this show, it reminded a lot of Pushing Up Days, Portlandia, and Better off Dead. Grab your significant other, call your parents tell them you’re sorry and WATCH THIS SHOW.

Kia ora and welcome to Wednesday's Economy Watch where we follow the economic events and trends that affect New Zealand. I'm Rebecca Caroe and this is the International edition from Interest.co.nz. This podcast is supported by Hatch. Gold or silver? This question is likely coming into focus for investors as they seek protection with US growth expected to slow next year. Investors often flock to gold because it is a good diversifier and is seen as a store of value. It has shown to perform well in times of market crisis.  Gold is up almost 11% this year, with most of that growth occurring in the last three months. While silver generally trails behind its precious metal peer, it is up over 9% during the previous three months and is on track for its third straight week of gains. To consider shares or funds with a focus on gold or silver, sign up to Hatch in under 2 minutes at www.hatchinvest.nz. Today this podcast leads with news most data released today is weak. All eyes are now on the US Fed. Markets now expect them to cut their policy rate by 25 basis points tomorrow. They will be bolstered in that decision by data out today which shows American consumer spending and prices that rose only modestly in June, pointing to slower economic growth and benign inflation. If they do cut, it will be for the first time in a decade. June home sales faltered in the US, unable to continue the small volume gains in the last few prior months. But consumer sentiment as measured by the Conference Board survey rebounded strongly. Meanwhile, the US President has lashed out at China as trade talks resume. In Japan, industrial production dropped 3.6% in June, the biggest slide since January 2018 and more than double that expected by analysts. In the EU, their latest business sentiment survey has come in weaker than expected and negative for the first time since 2013. Do you know that we have a database of the results of house sale auctions? You can find whether they sold or not and at what price. You can also find similar properties nearby. Access that resource at interest.co.nz/property/residential-auction-results In Australia, yesterday's released building consent data came in very weak and weaker than expected. For June 2019 they came in a startling 29% lower than the same month in 2018. For the year to June, the decline was a 19% drop. In anyone's language, this is painful. It is data that caused the Aussie dollar to dip. Now there is talk of "100,000" job losses as a consequence of this and very slow sales in the general housing market. The UST 10yr yield is now at 2.07%. Gold is now at $1,430 an ounce which is an $8 rise overnight. US oil prices are marginally firmer today. They are now just over 58 US dollars a barrel. The Brent benchmark is also firm at just over $65. The Kiwi dollar starts today a little softer again, now at 66.1 US cents. On the cross rates we are still firm at just on 96.2 Australian cents. Against the euro we are lower at 59.3 euro cents. That leaves the Trade Weighted Index still at 71.5. You can find links to the articles mentioned today on our website. For June 19, 2007.  Twenty years ago today, the Supreme Court handed down a decision in the case Edwards v. Aguillard.  This case is one of many court cases in the contentious issue of what explanation for the origins of life and human beings should be taught in schools.  I take a look at the Edwards case, the influence of religious conservatives on American political life, and creationism versus evolution.Today's music is from "Reasontanker," by Father Rock.  Our theme music is composed and performed by Marc Rose.

Summer's rollin' up on us this month, and just to make sure we get it started right, we brought in an expert. For June, San Francisco's Stepwise comes correct with a collection of his own exclusive dancehall remixes. This Argentinian-born DJ/producer has been spinning records for the last decade, played just about everywhere there is to play in SF, lived in Australia for two years (where he held down three weeklies), and is now back in the Bay representing Audiopharmacy (respect). You can hear more when the official mix CD drops (REmix 101, due late June), and be on the look for Stepwise remix 45's (in stores now). Nuff live dates too, including June 24 at the Canvas Gallery with Daneekah, Jocelyn (mk007 coming next month), DJ SpaceInvader, Sixtwentyone, and Adegen. More info will posted about that event soon. For epsiode 6, Stepwise gives us a sneak preview of what's coming up when that mix CD drops, with 24 big, 808-heavy, crunky as hell remixes of top dancehall cuts from Vybz Cartel, Buju Banton, Capleton, and more.
