Earlier this year a viral song purporting to feature Drake and The Weeknd was removed from streaming services when it emerged that vocals on the track were not the artists, but were generated by Artificial Intelligence. Songwriters are increasingly concerned that AI could put them out of business, but how worried should they be? The BBC's Will Chalk is joined by two professional songwriters, Aaron Horn and Holly Henderson, to see who can write the most convincing pop hit – the humans or the machines. 20 years since the launch of the first ever podcast, we look back at the highlights of the medium's explosive growth. Holly is current graduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder where she is pursuing her MBA at the Leeds School of Business. In additional to being a full-time graduate student, Holly is a full-time entrepreneur and business owner. Holly is the founder of her business Free Takeout Ldt. Free Takeout is an apparel and accessories company that is about the inadvertent moments of human connection that you take away from each experience. While Free Takeout focuses on outdoor activities, the brand's true emphasis is that it's not what you're doing, but who you're with and the memories. Holly runs Free Takeout with her two partners, and the team of three are all heavily involved with everything that goes on within the company. Free Takeout not only wants to provide customers with clothing, but the company also wants to stress the importance of things like sustainability and community. It's really cool to see how Free Takeout went from just an idea to what it is now. Throughout this conversation, it was apparent how passionate Holly is about her company, business, and fashion. It's exciting to see what Holly has already accomplished, and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for her. Discussing her new album The Walls on Bandcamp, 27 year old Composer/Musician/Producer from Kent Holly Henderson writes: "This album sits within a sense of place. As a songwriter, I can only speak of my own thoughts of home and belonging. I suppose this record is a wandering eye over the fleeting moments from the last few years, of when I felt at home, and when I didn't. When I felt like the walls were tumbling, when they kept me safe, and when they became my prison. I learned the only way of breaking these patterns, was to let people step over the threshold. Due to the intimacy of the songs, I wanted to preserve the organic nature of the words and the arrangements. The heart of every song was recorded live, from the front room of a farmhouse in Sevenoaks - everyone facing each other, hearing each other, and working together. The sounds you hear are preserved in the moment that they happened. Only tentative and selective moments were never changed in post. The other-worldly elements, synths, sounds, etc, were still captured live. Three to four of us, tinkering with analogue synths, percussion, voices, iPads, etc, while the songs played. Rowan's sensitivity as an engineer and producer, preserved every magical moment in his safe hands, while every person in the band shines throughout, regardless of trying to make this happen during the times of Covid, nothing was missing." Graham Coath discusses the music of Holly's life with her live.

Get ready to froth at the mouth with rage Creeps because this is season 3, episode 21 “Show Me Love” (Original airdate May 10th, 2000. Written by Liz Tigelaar and Holly Henderson and directed by Morgan J. Freeman). Dawson, Andie, Grams, Mitch, and even occasionally Pacey are all a big disappointment in the “showing us healthy relationships” department on this outing. Henry is also a miserable weasel but that’s not so much a disappointment as a continued meeting of our expectations. So join us for the Hindenburg disaster of regattas, Joey’s flapjacks, and the (maybe?) (finally?) departure of Will to greener spinoff pastures. If you want to peep our green pastures, follow us on instagram (@dawsonscreeps) and twitter (@dawsons_creeps). Our antiracism doc is linked on insta and our Spotify playlist Dawson’s Creeps - Do You Want to Dance Tomorrow can soothe your trouble spirits after watching Dawson be a petty tyrant from hell.
Holly discusses raising three Uniquely Special children on the Autism Spectrum, each with accompanying health challenges, after leaving her position as a gubernatorial appointee working as the Deputy Director of Communications for BWI Airport and subsequently being selected to be the Director of Communications for the Maryland Transit Administration. She tells her story of flying to Munich, Germany to search for her German grandmother at the age of 14 as her German-born father, who was legally adopted by his black birth father to come to the United States, had lost contact with his mother for 42 years; studying journalism at the University of North Florida; working as a flight attendant, beginning her career with landing gear failure; ending her airline career after a possible encounter with 9/11 terrorists; earning a M.S. in Transportation Management at Morgan State University; leaving the workforce to care and advocate for children with special needs who often end up incarcerated at higher rates; her third great grandfather Peter G. Morgan, who was born into slavery, was selected to write the new Virginia state constitution, was one of first blacks in the Virginia House of Delegates, and was a Presidential appointee working as a Postmaster in Richmond; solving the mystery of who is the father of family patriarch Preston Riley, descendant of Revolutionary War patriot Jacob Riley; learning that Preston’s father was T.J. Riley, a white man who had a relationship with a slave named Sally, petitioned the court to take care of their sons, and left land to her; feeling a deeper sense of patriotism and loyalty to her country because of her ancestors' fight for freedom for the United States; finding her place in history; deciding to follow Marian Anderson's lead of moving toward forgiveness by joining the Daughters of the American Revolution and representing women of color because "these are our ancestors too"; authoring the book Riley Road: Navigating the Path to Discover My 6th Great Grandfather, Jacob Riley, detailing her genealogy research methodology. (doesn't really matter now) I'm conflicted here it's a good sendoff to Clark. Part of his narrative in the show was that he wanted to me normal at times. I think I built it up too much in my mind. But tbh I'm a bit salty we still never got Welling in the suit CG on the Super fight was a bit rough but TV budget so okay What's up with Lyla? Is this going to be explained in the comic tie-in? Sidequest the episode. Big stakes from part 1 aren't really in play here Michelle Tom Welling not in Superman suit Lazarus Pit, really? The multiverse is ending; Barry spends a lot of time on side mission Harbinger's going to Anti-Monitor really not explained Roses SP - “Yea. I kind of promised my crew we'd never have to do another crossover” Jonathan crying and being passed off from person to person until Mick stops him World's Finest Teamup to Earth-99. “Bat Of The Future” Lois has a thing for ALLSupermen Lex Luther's “Superfriends” comment to Earth-167 Superman It was fitting to have Batman in the Batwoman episode Superman v Superman fight was made better by two actors: Brandon Routh and Tyler Hoechlin For all the Legends Of Tomorrow side characters to be in Crisis, it was good to see Jonah Hex End credit symbols are pretty cool Chris Leo replaces Gideon Routh is still a perfect Superman. This is the series they should be pursuing. He is from Superman Returns via reference to his son Jason Kara eyes up Routh Supes gets told he's her cousin by Superman prime was fun Ray and Supes trading quips on teh Waverider was fun Having not watched Cryer in Supergirl I don't know what he was like previously but he nails it as Lex Kevin Conroy is batman even if its evil batman. they took my batman and put him in live action. Normally I complain about guggenheim and his need to defy expectations of fans. I actually liked it here. To many people Kevin Conroy is the definitive version of batman. One who never kills. To take this version and have him be a broken version similar to Dark Knight Returns Batman was not what I expected. And seeing Conroy pull off broken Batman both physically and mentally was quite the show. Teased me with Batman Beyond when referencing a Gotham from the future Smallville Didn't expect to get it. Like the nod to Lex as president Wish there had been more Alternate earth Mick is still delightful as is his babysitting Michelle Tom Welling!!!! Everyone noticing how buff he is Like the Kara/Constantine/Mia teamup Kate and Kara develop relationship Cryer gets to be more Lex Luthor-y than on Supergirl Kate has character development w/interaction w/Bruce Brandon Routh gets to show the world why he's a great Superman and deserves to take over from Cavill Episode made me like Superman again For reference: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Easter Eggs and References in Part Two (10 Dec 2019) https://comicbook.com/dc/2019/12/10/crisis-infinite-earths-part-2-easter-eggs/ ARROW NEWS: CW Reveals When Arrow, Flash, Batwoman and More Return From Winter Hiatus (Date: 18 Dec 2019) Both Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow will air on Jan. 14 to close out the Arrowverse's "Crisis on Infinite Earths". Y'alls coverage of the show plus the One-shots and other stuff yuns do is fantastic. Just listened to Purgatory and thought that I would mention that on VUDU you can buy the bundles of Invansion and Crisis On Earth-X. They haven't got Elseworlds bundled yet but hopefully they do, and obviously I hope eventually they get Crisis On Infinite Earths bundled too. Thanks, I appreciate y'all, it's been fun listening to y'alls coverage, and looking forward to these last little bit of episodes. Thanks! REDDIT (via Chris): https://www.reddit.com/r/arrow/comments/e9vu1r/crisis_spoilers_star_city/ Posted byu/rleach1001 7 days ago [Crisis Spoilers] Star City spoiler Star City 2046 can't be the same Earth featured in Legends of Tomorrow. I know Sara said the Waverider jumped dimensions, but she has to be wrong. In Legends of Tomorrow S1E6, Sara meets future Oliver and he says: "30 years ago, you and Ray hopped on a spaceship, and you never came back." In Crisis Part One, they meet alternate Oliver, and he says: "You're dead. You... you went down with the Gambit." So, Earth-16 is an alternate Earth that's very similar to Star City 2046, but Sara actually died on the Gambit. She never got on the Amazo, joined the League, or came back to Star City. Star City 2046 was a potential future for Earth-1 that was avoided. In this week's episode of the Batwoman Podcast, Rachel and Mimi are joined by DC TV Podcasts founder Andy Behbakht (Host of The Flash Podcast and Titans Podcast) as they break down the third episode "Down, Down, Down." Kate is also forced to face the fact that many of Batman's old rogues are coming out of the woodwork now that they think the Dark Knight has returned. What did the gang think about "Down, Down, Down"? Find out on this week's episode of the Batwoman Podcast! “Down Down Down” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV) GOODBYE TO THE BAT - As the city waits impatiently for another visit from who they think is Batman, Alice (Rachel Skarsten) continues to taunt Kate (Ruby Rose) with a secret but also sets her sights on Jacob (Dougray Scott) and Catherine (Elizabeth Anweis). Kate is visited by Tommy Elliot (guest star Gabriel Mann), a childhood friend of her cousin who has finally realized his lifelong dream of being wealthier than Bruce Wayne and throws a party so all of Gotham can celebrate his success. Mary (Nicole Kang) gets an unexpected new bestie when Sophie (Meagan Tandy) is assigned to protect her. Luke (Camrus Johnson) and Kate work together to uncover who may have taken a valuable weapon from Batman’s arsenal. And as Batwoman faces a new enemy, Kate realizes she must either walk away from her new role or fully embrace the mantle as Gotham’s new hope. Holly Henderson is a 23-year-old songwriter and musician from Kent/London, England. Back in 2017, she began working with guitarist, producer & Youtuber Pete Thorn (Chris Cornell, Courtney Love, Melissa Etheridge) on what would become her first full-length album, “Monday Green”. Pete first became aware of Holly through Instagram and was drawn to her raw musicality and instincts. It’s a story of how a relatively unknown young artist can meet one of the most respected guitarists in the world over the internet and a short time later she is in LA recording with some of the best talents in the business. Holly’s music can go from ‘slow & beautiful’ to ‘melt your face off’ within the blink of an eye. The 10 songs on the album are full of melody and beauty with an undercurrent of heavy moods, strong harmonies, and impressive guitar work.
