“This is a tragedy, but it's not a crime.” This quote is from Captain Jeff Ferry, the lead investigator searching for missing Texas college student, Jason Landry. Jason, a student at Texas State University, left his apartment late in the evening on December 13, 2020, to return home to Missouri City, Texas for a quick visit. But Jason never made it home.Shortly after midnight, his car was found crashed and abandoned on a desolate road near Luling, a small town only about 30 minutes away from where he started. While Jason was nowhere to be found, he left several disturbing items behind. After two years with no sign of Jason, the Landry family is questioning the investigation and wondering more and more if this tragic ‘accident' was actually foul play.If you have any information regarding Jason Landry's disappearance, please contact the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office at (512) 398-6777 or the anonymous tip line at (726) 777-1359. Plumbing companies in small towns, city outskirts, and census-designated areas can have difficulty maximizing their online presence. In some cases, there are simply not enough people to make ranking #1 in your city a profitable achievement. So what should these plumbers do?Sometimes, plumbers in rural markets think that marketing is not worthwhile. This conclusion is false and will limit your business's potential in 2023. Small-town plumbers can dominate with Local SEO.In this podcast episode, Nolen Walker and Jason Landry of The Plumbing SEO Podcast outline the best Local SEO strategies for plumbing companies in low-population areas. For instance, some plumbing companies can optimize for a larger city nearby (within 15 minutes), while others can benefit from city pages (aka local landing pages) that allow them to cover a broader consumer base. One factor that certainly helps is DataPins, a tool that inserts geo-coordinates into your on-page content. So, for example, plumbing companies can validate jobs in a specific location along with mini-maps, images, and captions (the content comprising each pin).Listen to the full episode to learn every technique. You can also learn more at: https://www.plumbingwebmasters.com/

The phrase "SEO is Dead" is thrown out every single year. Of course, SEO is still alive, but many practices used to rank previously are obsolete. In addition, SEO requires constant adjustment as Google consistently updates its algorithms. For example, the 2022 Helpful Content Update targets content written to game the search algorithm, including AI-generated content, repetitive blog posts, and scraped city pages. Even though some higher-end AI content reads like a human wrote it, Google can still detect it and penalize your website. While unhelpful content can suppress your SEO rankings, the content itself is still important. That's where the marketing goldilocks zone comes in. You can't have too much or too little content; it must be just right.Your content must address your users' needs and provide unique and original information about your company and industry. You also need high-level signaling demonstrating your company's EEAT, expertise, experience, authority, and trust. You can earn these signals with unique photos, About Us sections, reviews, and quality links. To learn more about reaching the goldilocks zone for plumber SEO in 2023, listen to the full episode with Nolen Walker and Jason Landry of Plumbing Webmasters.Learn more at: https://www.plumbingwebmasters.com/

At Roofing Webmasters, we've been working with roofers for 12 years. As a result, we notice problems with roofing company websites around the web. Generic agencies have a tendency to implement horrible SEO strategies for roofing clients. One recent example came from a local roofing website that purported to offer "PPC roofing services." They intended to publish "PVC roofing" but misunderstood their client or auto-corrected PVC to PPC. Either way, it's gross incompetence by the marketer. This website also engaged in antiquated SEO tactics like keyword stuffing and multi-location marketing, attempting to rank for cities spanning 50 miles apart in radius. Everything this agency did for their client was incorrect, incompetent, and embarrassing. In the following podcast episode, Nolen Walker and Jason Landry explain why Roofing Webmasters is different than "Generic "Catch-All" agencies" and why you can benefit from the specific expertise offered by a niche-specific roofer marketing agency.Learn more at https://www.roofingwebmasters.com/
About half of all roofing companies have a "name" problem regarding Google ranking. You might be surprised by how Google's algorithm views your company name. In this podcast episode, we will answer the following questions:Should you change your roofing company name? How to pick the best roofing company name? What to look out for regarding rankingRemember to consult with a lawyer for specific questions regarding names and trademarks. You might wonder what the problems are with roofing company names and Google. Suppose Google thinks your name is the same as another established roofing brand. In that case, the established brand will acquire much of your traffic.Another factor to consider is topical authority. For example, does your company name include the word "roofing," or does it have something like "construction" instead? If the latter is true, you might lose out on topical authority, suppressing your keyword rankings on Google search and Google Maps.Nolen Walker and Jason Landry of Roofing Webmasters answer these questions and more on The Roofing SEO Podcast.Learn more about how these concepts apply to domain names here: https://www.roofingwebmasters.com/choosing-roofing-company-domain-name/

Around 2:00 am, in the early hours of December 14, 2020, Kent Landry received a call from a Texas State Trooper. It was a call every parent dreads: his 21-year-old son Jason Landry had gotten into a car crash on his drive home for Christmas break. The trooper reported that Jason's car had been found abandoned on a gravel road in rural Luling, Texas which was only 30 minutes into his three-hour drive home. The car's lights were still on, the keys were in the ignition and the passenger side door was still locked, but Jason was nowhere to be found. It seemed as if he'd fled the scene of the wreck. But to Kent, that didn't sound like something his son would do. Kent rushed to the scene. When got there, he saw that Jason's clothes were scattered across the road, not far from where he'd wrecked. It was obvious to him that Jason didn't just flee the scene. Something had happened and no one had investigated it. Jason is white. He is 6'1”, 170 pounds, with brown eyes, shaggy brown hair, and a goatee. He sometimes wears glasses, although he didn't have them with him when he got out of the car - he's presumed to have been wearing contacts. Jason was 21 years old when he went missing. Today, he would be 23. Anyone with information is asked to call Capt. Jeff Ferry at 512-398-6777 Ext. 4516. If you'd rather leave an anonymous tip, you can call 726-777-1359. At Plumbing Webmasters, we are here to help plumbers reach their goals. However, the only way to dominate Google Maps rankings is to work within Google guidelines, not against them.In today's podcast, Nolen Walker and Jason Landry of Plumbing Webmasters discuss the intricacies of Google Maps rankings. You can rank in multiple areas if you have more than one legitimate location. However, it's important to understand that Google Maps uses a LOCAL algorithm. You have to be local to rank in Google Maps. You cannot rank across state lines from the same Google Business Profile.Listen to this podcast to learn how to dominate Google Maps rankings for plumbers.https://www.plumbingwebmasters.com/resources/google-maps-for-plumbers/
The potential recession presents challenges for roofing companies and their marketing campaigns. But will an economic shift actually impact roofers? And if so, how pronounced will it be?Another factor to consider is that while many small businesses went out of business during the pandemic, most roofing companies thrived. But the people who remodeled their homes in 2020 will not need as much work done in 2022.Don't forget about the storm factor. Major hail storms can make an entire year for roofing companies in hard-hit areas. Conversely, a lack of storms can change the outlook of your year.To make sense of all of it, Nolen Walker and Jason Landry discuss roofer marketing and making money in tough times on the Roofing SEO Podcast.https://www.roofingwebmasters.com/roofing-marketing/

COVID stats for Austin remain a mixed bag of dropping hospitalizations, but dramatically rising cases and infection rate, leading to fears of future swamping of hospitals. Both at-home and in person COVID testing resources come under strain in advance of Christmas weekend. A few more local restaurants and bars have voluntarily and temporarily shut down, though that list remains relatively short at present. Austin remains at Stage 3, but city officials strongly recommend indoor masking for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, while emphasizing that there are no plans for future lockdowns. Two of a recent rash of Texas Amber Alerts concern missing kids in the San Antonio area, while a body found near Seguin may be that of Texas State student Jason Landry, who went missing in the area a year ago. Violet Crown Cinema sues the Violet Crown Amphitheater near Bee Cafe for trademark infringement. The Austin Monitor begins a series of bio pieces on the members of the Austin City Council. The Driskill Hotel marks its 135th birthday. And while we might hit a new heat record on Friday, Christmas Saturday's expected high of 86 will likely fall short of the all-time Christmas record of 90, set in 1955.

21-year-old Jason Landry disappeared on December 13, 2020. Jason had just completed his first semester at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. He was making the nearly 3-hour drive to his family's home in Missouri City, Texas, for the holidays. It's believed that Jason left around 10:55 PM that night. Around 12:30 AM, a volunteer firefighter discovered Jason's car crashed on a dark, desolate road just outside of Luling, Texas. Luling was along Jason's route home. Jason's parents were jolted awake that night when the phone rang. An officer from the Texas Highway Patrol was on the other line, informing them that they had found their son's car crashed, but there was no sign of Jason at the scene. That was the beginning of this nightmare for the Landry family, and more than ten months later, they are still searching for answers. If you have any information about the disappearance of Jason Landry, please call the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office at 512-398-6777 extension 4516. This episode is rated a 4 (on my Serious Crime Scale of 1 to 5). I tell the story of missing college student Jason Landry. Jason packed up his car to head home for winter break in December 2020, but he only made it about 30 minutes into the trip before he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into some trees and a fence on the side of the road. Police believe Jason walked away relatively unharmed, but he left all of his personal belongings behind, including his cellphone, keys, clothes, backpack and computer. He has not been seen or heard from since. A louisianai Baton Rouge-ban a nyári délutánok tikkasztó hőségében nap mint nap összejönnek a szomszédok, hogy együtt főzzenek, hideg sört igyanak és beszélgessenek. Az itt élők figyelnek egymásra. Amikor azonban 1989 nyarán a tizenöt éves Lindy Simpsont a házuktól néhány méternyire megerőszakolják, kiderül, hogy a látszólagos idillnek is megvan a maga sötét oldala.
