It's the penultimate episode!Join us this week as we discuss how much of a monster Kenshiro truly is, marvel at the Spaceballs style stunt double joke, and question the seriousness of the serious episode![Episode 23] Legend of the End of the Century Conqueror: When F City falls into ruin due to the events of the previous episode, law and order cease to exist and powerful gangs rule the barren wastelands. It is up to Excel to restore order back into the chaos. Little does she know that there is a sinister plot to do her in for good, from the last place she would expect.[Episode 23] For You, I Could Die: In an episode devoid of humor (as per Koshi Rikdo's orders), Excel suffers amnesia from the deep trauma received from the previous episode, Ilpalazzo tries to come to terms with the decisions he had made, and the Department of City Security vows to stop ACROSS, once and for all.If you'd like to get updates on the latest episodes and some occasional anime memes, why not give our Facebook page a follow?Who's That Anime? Attention, pixel pugilists and manga maniacs! Prepare to have your mind blown faster than you can say “Omae wa mou shindeiru” because Play Comics is about to unleash a Genesis gem that'll make your thumbs twitch with nostalgia. We're diving headfirst into the post-apocalyptic world of Last Battle, a game that's more thinly veiled than a sumo wrestler in a tutu when it comes to its connection to Fist of the North Star. Joining us on this journey through radioactive wastelands and questionable localization choices is none other than Chris Brown, animator extraordinaire and head of education at a cartoon museum. With his encyclopedic knowledge of all things animated, Chris will help us separate the wheat from the chaff, or in this case, the Kenshiro from the Aarzak. So grab your favorite energy-restoring meat, practice your best “ATATATATATA!” battle cry, and get ready to press start on an episode that's sure to leave you seeing pressure points. It's time to explore a game where the only thing more explosive than the gameplay is the spontaneous combustion of your enemies! Learn such things as: Why can't we just get the game to actually show what property it's based on? Should launch titles get a free pass at all? Why didn't we get an 80s action movie version of Fist of the North Star? And so much more! You can Chris on Instagram @chance_second, BlueSky @chancesecond, and of course his website Story of Chance. This week, it's an all-dessert episode hosted by Alice with Milo and Hussein. We discuss Peter Thiel and his acolytes' plan to make the drugs Olympics in which you take as many performance enhancers as possible and turn into Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. However, the real icing on the cake is a Telegraph article that claims Switzerland possesses an eternal martial spirit, but Britain is too woke to have conscription (and not racist enough). It's an experience. Today on the Irresistible Factor, Kristi has an incredibly inspiring guest, Kenshiro Uki, president of North America and Europe of one of her new favorite companies, Sun Noodle Ramen. Sun Noodle makes easy-to-prepare (at home), fresh Ramen. Kenshiro is on a mission to bridge the cultures of Japan and the U.S. by in essence, creating a new category, restaurant quality Ramen at home. Kenshiro's father started the Sun Noodle brand 42 years ago on the island of O'ahu, Hawaii after moving there from Japan. The brand started by serving premium noodles to the best ramen restaurants and chefs throughout Hawaii, and have since worked with the best ramen shops in the food service industry. The brand has just recently expanded into the CPG world by creating fresh ramen kits so that people can create a truly amazing bowl of ramen they can enjoy in their own home. Kenshiro talks about some of their awesome collaborations with iron chef Morimoto and chef David Chang of Momofuku, and why collabs like this can be a win-win for everyone involved. Kenshiro also tells us about the challenges of transitioning from food service into a consumer brand. He shares some of the incredible advice he's gotten from mentors and thought partners that were critical to his success. One of Kristi's favorite pieces of advice is around the opportunity a negative customer experience can be, if you handle it right. This episode is a must-listen with tons of advice every entrepreneur should hear. Lastly, if you are a Ramen lover and haven't tried this product, you're going to want to get your hands on this one!

Combat sports fans have seen plenty of great and important battles take place at the Saitama Super Arena over the years and we can now add another to the list, as a light flyweight unification years in the making finally took place! WBC champ Kenshiro faced off with domestic rival and WBA/Ring champ Hiroto Kyoguchi in a bout as eagerly anticipated among boxing hardcores as any other in recent memory! The fight itself ended up playing out as relatively one-sided, but there were enough thrills while the action lasted to make it a worthwhile watch as well as a historically significant title unification bout. So listen to me break down just how Kenshiro made it look so easy, what it means for the division as it stands, and what it means for shaking up the historical landscape of the truly terrific 108lb weight class. Chris, James, and James enjoy some fine literature and some fine animated cinema. Before the Fist of the North Star was a movie, it was a manga. Viz Media started putting out some nice hardcover collected editions of the original series so we thought we'd dip into this mega franchise, see what's up. We were not disappointed. "It's all mine. And your woman, too."
In this episode, we discuss the much-anticipated rematch between Masamichi Yabuki and Kenshiro Teraji, the first of which shook the whole world resulting in a late TKO stoppage for Masamichi, becoming one of the biggest upsets of 2021. We also discuss other upcoming boxing bouts, such as Regis Prograis' fight with Tyrone McKenna and Sunny Edwards against Muhammad Waseem.

Kenshiro is an OG crpyot investor! I always love crypto investors that have grown personally in their journey and now today take time to give back to others in the space, and today's guest is the embodiment of just that. From investing in cryptocurrency in 2017 to building a base of over 10,000 followers on Twitter in less than a year, he continues to support NFT artists by spotlighting their work on his feed. A true pioneer that helps the NFT community grow everyday!
On this episode of Manga Mavericks, Colton & Lum enlist the help of some local biker goons, like All-Comic contributor, Nick Rowe, cosplay extraordinaire, Diana & host of the Blade Licking Thieves podcast himself, Grant, in order to discuss Buronson & Tetsuo Hara's classic Fist of the North Star! In which after a nuclear apocalypse in 199x, the strong now pick on the weak as society as we know it has collapsed, but only one Bruce Lee-like figure with a sleeveless denim jacket can protect them and that's Kenshiro, master of the (literally) mind-blowing martial art known as Hokuto Shinken! As soon as Viz Media announced last year that they would be bringing this series over, we just knew we had to talk about it! If you're new to Fist of the North Star, then this podcast is for you, as we stick to mainly discussing Volume 1 in particular and why we think its such a great start to the series! We also discuss why the series is so beloved and influential even almost 30 years after its debut in Weekly Shonen Jump, as well as how it succeeds in not only being a hilariously violent and over the top action series, but also a very down to earth gripping human drama filled with a ton of tragedy. Enjoy!
