Juan Fierro, director asociado de Janus Henderson, ha querido compartir una visión optimista sobre el momento que atraviesa la firma y el entorno de inversión actual. “Estamos en un momento dulce”, afirma. “Somos una gestora de gestión activa y mantenemos una filosofía de inversión basada en el conocimiento profundo de las compañías y sus modelos de negocio. Dedicamos mucho tiempo a entender qué hay detrás de cada empresa, y eso nos ha permitido gestionar con éxito más de 500.000 millones en activos bajo gestión”. El directivo también ha analizado el contexto internacional, marcado por una gran transformación geopolítica. “Estamos viviendo un cambio de paradigma a nivel global. Se está produciendo un reordenamiento geoeconómico en el que China está ganando cada vez más peso, no solo desde el punto de vista del consumo y del comercio, sino también en el terreno tecnológico”. Por último, Fierro ha querido destacar una oportunidad clara para los inversores más prudentes: la renta fija. “Después de muchos años, la renta fija ha vuelto a aportar valor a las carteras. Hoy podemos hablar de rentabilidades cercanas al 4% sin asumir grandes riesgos, lo que la convierte en una opción especialmente interesante para aquellos perfiles más moderados”.

La tarde de este viernes se confirmó la muerte de Julieta Fierro a los 77 años, una de las científicas y divulgadoras más reconocidas en México y América Latina. Locutor, periodista, escritor, productor y conductor de radio y televisión, reconocido por su labor como director de Radio Nacional Folklórica y por haber sido una de las voces principales del Festival de Cosquín. Murió el 10 de septiembre de 2023, a los 82 años, en el Sanatorio Güemes de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, al que había ingresado días antes tras sufrir un accidente cerebro vascular. Marcelo Simón había nacido el 14 de noviembre de 1940 en la provincia de Córdoba y fue mentor del clásico espacio “Voces de la Patria Grande”. En su larga e intensa trayectoria, recibió el Premio Konex 1997 en el área Música Popular y obtuvo una decena de premios Martín Fierro. En los años 80 emprendió una aventura editorial: fue director de la revista Folklore y, además, durante una década escribió los libretos del histórico Festival Nacional de Folklore de Cosquín. Hombre de radio, Simón dirigió las emisoras Excelsior, El Mundo, Nacional y Libertad. Su trabajo y su conocimiento hizo que en varias ocasiones dictara conferencias sobre música argentina y latinoamericana en Estados Unidos, Israel y Francia. Para recordarlo, compartimos el programa homenaje que le rendió Nacional Folklórica en el primer aniversario de su muerte, en 2024, y que conserva el Archivo Histórico de Radio Nacional.
