Jack Harvey had a stellar run in the junior categories of open-wheel racing on his way up to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. He's a former British F3 champ and is a winner on both the oval and road course at Indianapolis in the INDY NXT by Firestone series. In the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, he spent the majority of his time at Meyer Shank Racing before he moved to the Rahal Letterman Lannigan team. Unfortunately, the promise showed at MSR was never realized at RLL. In 2024, Dale Coyne rang up Harvey to offer him a ride which he happily took alongside a revolving line-up of co-drivers. We caught up with him at the 2024 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach where he was celebrating his birthday and his new ride. In this interview, he talks about the importance of how to develop relationships within a team. He also recalls the incredible run to be the final Indy 500 qualifier the year prior. Fast forward to 2025, and he's now a pit reporter on the Fox TV race broadcasts, however, he'll also be back behind the wheel for this year's Indianapolis 500 with Dreyer and Reinbold Racing with Cusick Motorsports. A talented driver, a true gentleman of the sport, and also quite talented behind the microphone, Jack Harvey is one to watch both on the track and off. Enjoy!

RLL puts up a great qualifying performance for the Sonsio Grand Prix but Palou and Chip Ganassi put together another masterclass to get the win. That's 4 wins out of the 5 races so far this season and Palou's worst finish on the year is a 2nd place....WOW! Amazing season for him so far. Looking ahead to this upcoming weekend, Indycar has its qualifying session for the Indy 500. One entry will be BUMPED from the field on Sunday. Who will be the 33 competing for this year's Borg-Warner trophy?IMSA and WEC raced this weekend as well at Laguna Seca and Spa respectively. Porsche and Ferrari may have won their respective races in convincing fashion but it was action packed, in a good way, with plenty of on track battles! Really worth a watch if you haven't seen the races. Some great stuff up and down the field. IMSA's next race is on the streets of Detroit and then after that it's Le Mans for WEC and some IMSA teams that were invited.Larson dominates in NASCAR at Kansas. Coming up this weekend: NASCAR is at North Wilkesboro, IndyCar has the Indy 500 Qualifying, F1 is at Imola, and Super Formula is at Autopolis.

Tonight, on a Wednesday night edition of Trackside with Curt Cavin and Kevin Lee, they are live from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to recap day one of open testing for the 109th Indianapolis 500. They talk about what they observed early on and who has new liveries for the race. They also talk about fewer than 10,000 tickets are available for this year's race, and they also talk about the possibility of Mexico City going on the 2026 calendar. Later in the first hour of the show, they answer fan questions from X, talking about what to expect for the second day of testing, how the show’s upcoming schedule could conflict with the Indiana Pacers Playoffs, how the drivers reacted to the hybrid, and who looked good on the no-tow charts. Tonight, Kevin and Curt talk about Josef Newgarden’s likeness being unveiled on the Borg-Warner Trophy. They talk about the likelihood of Josef winning the race three in a row, and how he is embracing that challenge. They also talk about Devlin DeFrancesco going to RLL for 2025. Later, Kevin and Curt take a look at the grid for the Indy 500. How many cars will we have? Will we have bumping? JR Hildebrand and Takuma Sato are discussed as possible entries for the race. Finally, Conor previews the upcoming Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix where he will be serving as a commentator for the second year in a row. 2024 IndyNXT Champion Louis Foster stops by the show to discuss his family history in racing and his recent signing with Rahal Letterman Lanigan for the 2025 IndyCar season. Louis explains after finding success in karts and the Ginetta Junior Championship, he ventured into the world of single seater racing through the Formula ladder, competing in the British F4 and F3 championships. He would leave Euroformula racing for the United States where he began on the Road to Indy, to which he credits most of his racing success. He fills listeners in on how his deal with RLL came to be, and how he is excited to lean on veteran Graham Rahal as a resource next season. Tonight, on Trackside, there's so much to talk about we had to skip the intro! Kevin and Curt breakdown the new IndyCar charter system, and shuffling team lineups that were recently announced. They also talk about the IMSA race at IMS. They talk about Rahal's win at the brickyard, and why the FBI searched the RLL shop, and why the FBI may care about it. Kevin goes to the X Box and answers listener questions. They talk about Rinus Veekay departing from Carpenter, and ECR's lineup going into next season.  Later, Curt and Kevin answer more listener questions, including if Rinus Veekay's career is over in IndyCar, and where he could possibly go. They talk about the driver lineup at Rahal, and where Linus Lundqvist could go. Kevin believes Linus could go to Rahal as Rossi will be at Carpenter. They answer a listener question about what the perfect number of races on the schedule, and some new tracks that could get added to the calendar.   To round out the first hour, Kevin previews the next hour.  In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt delve into the charter system, and give the ins and outs of the system, what it means for the sport, what's good about it, bad about it, and more. They talk about the Dale Coyne rule, and how teams will be capped at 3 drivers per season. Prema will also not have a charter but will be able to start every race next year outside of the 500, without risk of getting bumped. They also speculate if Dale Coyne is looking to get out of racing.  Later, Kevin and Curt talk about Marcus Armstrong moving to the #66 Meyer Shank Honda. Dr. Greg Chernoff joins the show to talk to Kevin and Curt about the Survivors of Violence Foundation, an event that many USAC drivers will be at to help raise money for the foundation. Join Dan and Bryan as they discuss the news that has overshadowed an amazing weekend of action at Barber Motorsports Park. Starting with Penske scandal, cheat or outside the rules situation. Then on to the dismissal of David Malukas from the Arrow McLaren #6. Then on to Barber Race recap where Scott McLaughlin needed a strong weekend to kickstart his season after his DSQ at St Pete and his unfortunate weekend at Long Beach. Penske redemption tour didn't start there as Will Power put in a stellar performance but fell just a couple ticks short of his teammate. The Penske driver at the center of the scandal had a weekend to forget. RLL continues there climb but only for 2/3 of that team.
