Jack Harvey has won nearly a dozen championships in his career including the prestigious British F3 championship in 2012. He finished runner-up in the Indy Lights championship in both 2014 and 2015. He's one of only six drivers to have won on both the Indianapolis road course and the oval where he took those wins in Indy Lights. Moving from the Meyer Shank NTT IndyCar Series team to Rahal Letterman Lanigan has proven to be quite challenging for both him and the team. We caught up with Harvey as he was taking some photos of his girlfriend Gracie Norton just off of the red carpet at the 100 Days To Indy Premiere just prior to the 2023 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. He talks about the mental aspect of staying positive and how he wants to continue to motivate the team, work hard, and be competitive for the rest of the season. Candid and stoic, you can tell that Harvey is extremely motivated to return to qualifying well and finishing on the podium. Enjoy! NOTE: At Indianapolis, major drama unfolded as he bumped his teammate Graham Rahal out of the race with time expiring on the clock to qualify 33rd. After the August 12, 2023 road course race at Indy, Harvey was released from RLL with three races left to run in the season. Part of the team statement from Bobby Rahal reads: “First, I would like to thank Jack Harvey for all of his efforts on behalf of RLL for the last year and a half. He committed fully to the team, but for whatever reason, we weren't able to achieve the results that he or the team deserves, and we wish him well in the future.” Where will he end up? Moore along with Washington’s Shaka Toney for the entire 2023 season in April for betting on NFL games last year, adding they may petition for reinstatement. Williams and teammate Stanley Berryhill were benched for six games for betting on non-NFL games at a league facility. The move came two days after Denver dropped the veteran kicker and former team captain. The Jaguars initially waived kicker Riley Patterson to make room for McManus on their 90-man roster but ended up trading him to Detroit for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2026. But McLaren did enter the series in 2020 and has slowly built itself into a top contender. Indy 500 – IndyCar driver Stefan Wilson has surgery to repair fracture in back IndyCar driver Stefan Wilson had surgery to repair a fractured vertebrae that he sustained in practice for the Indianapolis 500. His car owner Don Cusick said Thursday that Wilson was “in great spirits and feeling better.” He was injured during practice on Monday when his car was hit from behind by Katherine Legge, sending both into the wall. Legge was able to climb from her car uninjured. Her team repaired her car and she will start Sunday’s race. Connor De Phillippi raced a BMW M4 for Rahal Letterman Lanigan in the GTD Pro category in 2022. This was the first year for that class as he had been competing in the IMSA GTLM category before that class was phased out. In this interview taken on the Thursday before the 2022 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, he talks about his early open-wheel career versus GT racing, how GTD differs from GTLM and his preparation for the race weekend. After a penalty in qualifying relegated his team to start last, De Phillippi carved his way through the field to the lead before another penalty during a pit stop dropped them down the order again. De Phillipi is a talented driver who's always looking forward to improving his craft and going after wins. Enjoy! Three of IndyCar's most prominent teams—Andretti Autosport, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and Arrow McLaren SP—are investing a total of $250 million to expand their operations and add as many as 750 jobs in central Indiana.
