SUPERMAN lebt, aber reißt er auch ab? Das wollen wir heute in einem Extra-SPOILER-Talk ergründen, für den sich Schlogger und Schröck den lieben Maurice ins Studio geholt haben, der ein mindestens ebenso großer Fachmann für den Mann aus Stahl ist wie eben auch Fan seit Kindesbeinen an. Gemeinsam wollen die Drei ihre Eindrücke vom Film noch mal Revue passieren lassen, auf die Themen des Films eingehen, ihre Erwartungen abklopfen, ein wenig die James Gunn-Formel entschlüsseln und dann auch noch mal die ein oder andere Comic-Empfehlung abgeben. Dabei wird dann natürlich auch das kleine DC-Universum von Christopher Nolan zur Sprache kommen, während selbstverständlich ebenfalls über andere Film-Adaptionen wie SUPERMAN - DER FILM von Richard Donner oder eben MAN OF STEEL von Zack Snyder geredet wird. Denn Letzterer war unter anderem der letzte Film, den Schröck zuletzt gesehen hat. Bei Maurice war es 28 YEARS LATER, weshalb er noch ein wenig über IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA schwärmt, nachdem Schlogger von ihrem Erstkontakt mit dem tollwütigen Bernhardiner CUJO berichtet hat. Da fliegt er wieder: James Gunn bringt SUPERMAN zurück ins Kino und darüber müssen Schlogger und Schröck natürlich reden. Denn auch der neue (und süße) Mann aus Stahl scheint doch zu spalten - ob es nun Metropolis oder unsere Meinungen sind. Darüber hinaus schwärmen die beiden aber noch ein wenig für THE BALLAD OF WALLIS ISLAND, diskutieren anhand von DREAMING DOGS oder freuen sich (eher mehr einseitig) über die Rückkehr von SIE NANNTEN IHN MÜCKE. There's really two moments that caused me to do this episode and I had no notes, so bare with me... My concerns, questions and comments were very valid here. Enjoy, y'all.

Kann ein Film über die Formel 1 funktionieren? Das haben vermutlich nicht nur wir uns gefragt, nachdem F1, der neue Film von Joseph Kosinski, angekündigt wurde. Seit dem 25.06.2025 gibt es die Antwort! Denn da ist F1 in den deutschen Kinos gestartet und offenbar konnte der Formel 1 Streifen ja bereits einige Fans von sich und seinen Qualitäten überzeugen. Aber das dürfte auch kaum überraschen, wenn man auf dem Schirm hat, dass Regisseur Joseph Kosinski uns vor ein paar Jahren schon das unerwartet fette Top Gun Sequel um die Ohren geblasen hat. Da wundert es wohl kaum, wenn zumindest die Renn- und Actionsequenzen in F1 ballern wie nix Gutes und dementsprechend Spaß machen - vor allem für Fans! Zumal Formel 1 Pilot und Rekordweltmeister Lewis Hamilton als Produzent mit an Board war und wohl dafür gesorgt haben soll, dass die Rennen auch möglichst realistisch abgebildet werden. Was kann da noch schiefgehen? Achja… die Formel 1 hat dem Film ja ihre Zustimmung gegeben… und F1 hat irgendwas zwischen 200 Millionen und 300 Millionen Dollar gekostet… und darum hat da bestimmt auch die PR-Abteilung der Formel 1 am Ende ein Wörtchen mitzureden. All das und mehr schauen wir uns in dieser Folge genauer an. Also anschnallen und dann mit Vollgas und ohne Rücklicht auf Verluste rein in den Spaß. Mit 28 Years Later kehrt Regisseur Danny Boyle nach 23 Jahren zurück ins virenverseuchte England. Nachdem der Trailer uns angefixt hatte, weil er mit atmosphärischen Klängen und starken Bildern durchaus Bock auf die Fortsetzung der Reihe gemacht hat, steht nach dem Kinobesuch natürlich die Frage im Raum, ob der Film dem gerecht werden kann. Sagen wir mal so: Wir sind da geteilter Meinung. Sicher hat #28yearslater durchaus seine guten Momente, aber er macht eben auch ein paar Dinge, die nicht jedermanns Geschmack treffen werden. Spoiler: Wir waren uns da mal wieder so überhaupt nicht einig und möglicherweise ist das Gespräch hier und da auch ein wenig entgleist. Dabei sollte man ja eigentlich denken, dass große Einigkeit herrschen müsste, wenn drei Filmnerds über den neuen Film von Len Wiseman sprechen. Der hat nämlich nicht nur Ballerina inszeniert, sondern auch Underworld, Stirb Langsam 4 und das grottenschlechte Total Recall Remake. Mit anderen Worten: Keine guten Vorzeichen für das John Wick Spinoff. Verlust, Schmerz und Rache: Wir reden nun noch einmal komplett über die 2. Staffel von THE LAST OF US. Mit anderen Worten: Die Spoiler-Gefahr ist so hart wie ein Golfschläger, der einen Schädel zertrümmert. Doch diesmal gehen wir es ein wenig anders an. Denn Alwin, Matthias und Schröck haben sich mit Antje noch eine weitere Perspektive hinzu geholt, die noch nicht eine Sekunde des Spieles gespielt hat und demnach völlig ahnungslos und unbeeinflusst an die Serie rangehen konnte. Sind manche Entscheidungen wirklich so schwer nachvollziehbar, wenn die Spiele völlig unbekannt sind? War es wirklich so dumm, die Handlung des zweiten Games so umzugestalten? Und kann die Show dennoch zu Boden schlagen oder Tränen rühren, obwohl die Charaktere nicht vorher schon für 30 bis 60 Stunden gespielt wurden? All dies und mehr wollen wir heute zu Viert besprechen und erörtern, um dann im Anschluss daran noch mal kurz zu Dritt über die Zukunft der Serie zu fabulieren und wie es nun anhand von Gerüchten, Fakten und eben Spielkenntnissen weiter gehen könnte. Dabei ist Antje dann nicht mehr dabei, da wir ihr den Spaß natürlich nicht verderben oder zu viel Drama vorweg nehmen möchten. Und wir hoffen natürlich, dass ihr ebenfalls deutlich mehr Spaß als Drama mit dieser Besprechung haben werdet. Es soll dann aber auch nicht die letzte gewesen sein - so viel ist uns allen ja nun sicher. In diesem Sinne: Egal was passiert, man findet immer irgendwas, wofür es sich zu kämpfen lohnt. Das rundenbasierte RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 wird jetzt schon als Game of the Year bezeichnet. Wir bei Controller haben zwar schon einmal über das Spiel und den Hype geredet, aber: Großes Spiel, großer Redebedarf. Controller-Legenden Sanel und Lukas schwärmen über alles, was dieses Spiel so großartig macht, und das in nur knappen 22 Minuten. Achtung, hier gibt es die volle Ladung Spoiler!

Im Vergleich zu Ethan Hunts Job in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, ist meiner eigentlich recht einfach: Während er auch im achten und möglicherweise finalen Teil der #missionimpossible Reihe mal wieder gegen alles und jeden Kämpfen muss, um die Welt zu retten, muss ich mittlerweile zum 150. Mal oder so eine Folgenbeschreibung verfassen. Aber man muss ja auch mal sehen, dass ich im Vergleich zu Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible 8 halt auch einfach viel arbeitsscheuer bin und sich meine Aufgabe daher mindestens genauso schwer anfühlt. Und außerdem habe ich auch niemanden, der mir dabei hilft. Vielleicht habe ich am Ende ja doch die größere Bürde zu tragen… Naja, ist im Grunde auch komplett egal, denn: "Was muss, dat muss." Und zumindest in diesem Ansatz sind Tom Cruise in der Rolle als Ethan Hunt und ich wahrscheinlich gar nicht so verschieden. Denn eines lässt sich definitiv festhalten: In Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning, MUSS er wirklich komplett gestörte Dinge tun und wie sich das spätestens seit der Übernahme des Franchises durch Regisseur und Produzent Christopher McQuarrie für die Reihe gehört, ist das dazugehörige Stuntwork und wie das gefilmt ist völlig wahnsinnig und absolut geil! Und darum sprechen wir als Fans von Action Filmen aller Art natürlich auch über den Film, was er als Fortsetzung taugt und darüber, warum uns die Komplexe des nahezu winzigen Tom Cruises in Zukunft auf der Kinoleinwand fehlen werden. Mal ernsthaft, der Mann ist komplett irre! Und dafür muss man ihn, Ethan Hunt und die Mission Impossible Reihe doch einfach lieben, oder!? So, Feierabend. Mission: Accomplished.
