The Fourth Option by Jack Carr Disillusioned by the government and institutions he dedicated his life to serving, former Navy SEAL and CIA ground branch operative Chris Walker is about to end his life when he receives a call that saves it. The wife of a teammate he lost in Afghanistan has now lost her son to the opioid crisis and needs Walker's help. Thrust into a conspiracy that goes deeper than he ever imagined, Walker must go up against the system and the very Constitution he once swore an oath to support and defend in order to find justice for his friend's widow. With ambitious FBI agent Jarrett Stanton on his tail, Walker—accompanied by his loyal Belgian Malinois and using his off-the-grid VW pop-up camper filled with a hidden cache of weapons—takes the law into his own hands, exposing corruption and issuing a long-forgotten brand of lethal outlaw justice. Stakes by Noelle McCarthy You have to invite him in. You have to want the vampire's badness in the house with you. Growing up in Catholic Ireland, Noelle McCarthy is captivated by Bram Stoker's Dracula. The vampire is a risk-free fantasy, a suave alternative to the fraught realities of desire. Twenty years later, exhausted by her unruly appetites, Noelle returns to Dracula, reckoning with her own history and a changing world: generation-spanning shame and trauma given voice by #Metoo and the horrors emerging from Irish soil. More than a century after readers were first mesmerised by Dracula, Stakes transposes its electric themes of transgression, intoxication and sexual danger onto Noelle's own life, asking; what's the difference between an inheritance and a curse? A funny, visceral follow-up to the acclaimed Grand, Stakes celebrates the power of a gothic horror to help you face the parts of life that scare you most. The K9 Team Behind School Safety: Officer Matt Mills & Aramis

A Belgian Malinois from the Czech Republic walks into a school and somehow manages to be both a laser-focused narcotics detection dog and the sweetest, most approachable face of school safety. That's K9 Aramis, and we're joined by his handler, Officer Matt Mills, to explain how a K9 team actually fits into day-to-day life inside Cape Coral schools. We talk through what Aramis is trained to find, why THC vapes have become a real issue on campuses, and how targeted backpack or bag sniffs can support administrators when they ask for help. Officer Mills also shares why temperament matters so much for a school-based K9: a dog has to be safe for student interactions, but ready to switch into work mode instantly. Along the way, we get a look at the broader mission of community policing, including K9 demos at youth centers, PAL programs, camps, and community groups that help kids see officers as people they can trust.Summer brings a different rhythm, not a break. We cover how SROs still support summer school and camps, why training ramps up when school is out, and what law enforcement watches for when juveniles have more idle time. Officer Mills explains the prevention side too: working with juvenile probation, monitoring at-risk kids, and pushing for outcomes that get them off probation and back on track. If you've ever wondered what a K9 handler's life looks like after the shift ends, Officer Mills gets real about it: the training never stops, the dog comes home, vacations take planning, and the responsibility is closer to raising a kid than having a “work partner.”

The fastest way to stay stuck with a reactive dog is trying to prevent every mistake. We sit down for a real coaching call with a dog owner juggling a powerful adult mix (German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, Belgian Malinois) with prey drive and leash reactivity, plus a new puppy who feels “easy” by comparison and triggers a whole new wave of dog owner guilt. We get practical about what changes behavior: using the e-collar as a clear, fair consequence for full commitment chasing (bikes, cats, fast-moving triggers) instead of living in constant management with leash pops, distractions, and pre-emptive nagging. We also talk through the part nobody posts online, the discomfort of correcting a dog in public and the fear of being judged, and why consistency matters more than perfection when safety and liability are on the line. Then we zoom out to the day-to-day plan: build engagement through a repeatable training game, use play and impulse control to stop the “scan and explode” loop, and keep sessions short so you don't burn out. For the puppy, we lower the bar: more sniffing, more confidence, more rewarded check-ins, and a gradual path to a structured heel. We also cover separate walks, separation anxiety practice with short departures, and how to supervise rough play and advocate for both dogs.If this resonates, subscribe, share it with a friend who's overwhelmed, and leave a review so more dog owners can find practical training that actually works.Visit us on the website here to see what we've got going on and how you can join our pack of good dogs and owners.

The Boxer is one of the most recognizable breeds in the world. It currently ranks among the top twenty in AKC registrations and has held that position for decades. It became a cultural fixture in the 1950s when a Boxer named Bang Away — the great-great-grandson of dogs that a German breeder had sold abroad to prevent them from starving in wartime — won Best in Show at Westminster and became the first dog of any breed to achieve 121 Best in Show wins. That story goes deeper than most people know. The Boxer's path from a medieval hunting dog in Germany to the dog in your living room passes through one of the most remarkable figures in the history of any breed: Friederun von Miran-Stockmann, a sculptor who fell in love with a Boxer named Pluto and spent sixty years keeping the breed alive through two World Wars, Nazi interference, near-starvation, and the loss of dog after dog to combat. She fed her remaining dogs by cycling miles to source cow intestines and rummaging in military dumpsters. When she could no longer sustain them, she sold her best dogs to America. They became the genetic foundation of every Boxer alive today. The Boxer is no longer primarily a working dog in the way it once was. The German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois have largely taken over modern police and military roles. But the Boxer remains a working dog in police forces across Europe — particularly in Germany, where the breed originated — and its working drives are fully intact in every dog sitting in a living room anywhere in the world. And inside those working drives, in a significant proportion of the breed, is Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy — ARVC. A hereditary heart condition that replaces normal cardiac muscle with fatty tissue, generates dangerous arrhythmias, and in its most extreme expression causes sudden death with no prior warning. At any age. In dogs that appear completely healthy.

Fostering Conversations with Utah Foster Care

In this powerful episode of Fostering Conversations, host Amy Smith sits down with former foster youth Carlos Rios Redd to talk about lived experience in foster care, sibling separation, adoption disruption, resilience, and hope. Carlos entered foster care as a baby, lived in more than ten homes, and experienced three adoptions. Despite repeated trauma and instability, Carlos shares how relationships, faith, and supportive families helped shape the life he leads today. Now married and working as a K9 handler with the Utah Highway Patrol, Carlos reflects on how growing up in foster care influenced his compassion, maturity, and commitment to service. His story offers meaningful insight for foster parents, youth currently in care, and professionals who work within the child welfare system. In this episode, we discuss: What it is like to grow up in foster care and experience multiple adoptions The impact of sibling separation and staying connected Reconnecting with biological siblings after years apart Being a permanent child in a fostering household Resilience, healing, and allowing yourself to be loved Advice for youth currently in foster care Why maintaining relationships matters long after placements end Carlos speaks honestly about trauma without bitterness and shares why he believes connection is one of the most powerful tools for healing. Resources mentioned in this episode: Learn more about foster care in Utah: Utah Foster Care If you are a foster parent, considering fostering, or supporting youth in care, this episode offers perspective that is both grounding and hopeful. Transcript; Speaker: Join us for one of the most important aspects of foster care, former foster youth. Today we talk with Carlos who has gone through multiple homes and multiple adoption, and now he’s thriving. Amy: Welcome to Fostering Conversations. I’m your host, Amy Smith. Today we have a former foster youth, Carlos Rios-Redd. Thanks for being with us today, Carlos. Carlos: thank you for the invitation. Glad to be here. Amy: Yeah, we’re so excited to chat with you. I think this is one of the most important sides of foster care to discuss is the lived experience. So would you just introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about your story? Carlos: My name’s Carlos Rios-Redd shred. I grew up in foster care through the system about at a year old, and then lived through, 10 homes within 10 years and been adopted three different times. And, I guess left the system through adoption at the age of 14, but really never left because we always had kids coming into our home as well. So I was able to see both sides of the spectrum on, on the foster care system. Amy: Yeah. So you’ve been, had the lived experience and also had then youth come into your home as the permanent sibling, so that’s awesome. So tell us a little bit about, I think it’s very unusual and honestly unfortunate that you were adopted three different times. Are you able to tell us a little bit about that? Carlos: Sure. Yeah. So the first adoption was coming from California to Utah to Blanding where our family brought us over. And we were with them for about two years and there was a lot of abuse that happened within the home. And one day they decided that they didn’t want us anymore, my brother and I, and left us at the DCFS office. Our caseworker came in and said, Hey, we gotta find you a home by the end of the day for you guys to move into. We’re gonna go gather your things because these parents don’t want you at the home anymore. So we’re gonna try to figure things out. Amy: adopted at that Yeah. Carlos: Legally adopted. It was about two years with the so we made it from. it was about 2005 when we moved over to Blanding here in Utah. Amy: And then Okay. Carlos: it was Amy: 2007. So then what did that look like? Do you remember being at that? Do, you were young, but do you remember being at that office or do you Carlos: remember I do. Yeah. So specifically that day, the office, they have a like a child’s room where they have the TV and the toys or whatever, and our caseworker just said, Hey, go in here, we’re gonna talk with your parents. And in my head, it was one of just general meetings that they have after adoption just to make sure things are going good. And then the next thing you know, we get told we are moving to a different house. Amy: Holy. Carlos: cow. Amy: then you guys go to another foster home? Carlos: Yep. We go through another foster home and then another foster home. And then we landed in a place where we were there for about two and a half years. And that was probably the first time ever felt that a family loved my brother and I. And we got really close with them. And then unfortunately, the judge said, you’re taking too much time with these kids and we’re gonna remove them and put ’em in a different home. Amy: Oh my goodness. Okay. So that one wasn’t the foster family’s Carlos: No, that was the judge’s decision. Amy: Wow, Carlos: Yeah, and to my understanding is that it was just because the parents wanted to do a guardianship instead of a full adoption and the judge didn’t like that idea and so they removed us from the home. Amy: Oh my goodness. Okay, so then you’ve reentered foster care again. Carlos: So then we moved to a different home, which brought us up to Brigham City from the south east corner. So totally opposite ends of the state. Amy: Yeah. Carlos: Yes. We were only there for six months and then things weren’t going well there. Amy: They did? Carlos: No, it was very quick on how they did it and came and picked us up and brought us back down to Blanding after the six months. Amy: Holy cow. And is that where your permanent home? Carlos: No, that, No. Amy: oh my gosh. Carlos: And so then there was another home after that, which was with a previous family that we, or he had been with. Amy: Okay. Carlos: So we were familiar with them. And then came our second adoptive family. Which I, at the time was really good friends with one of their kids. Amy: Okay. Carlos: Okay. and they’re good people. So this isn’t anything to say they’re bad ’cause they’re not. Almost everyone that I’ve ever lived with, I am on very good terms with. Amy: That’s amazing. Carlos: So we went to their home and we’re with them. how old was I? I was probably about, I think I was 10. And we were with them for maybe a year to a year and a half, somewhere around there. And then they had the idea to reconnect us with our family in California. Amy: Okay. Carlos: And so we went down there for Christmas, I don’t recall the year, but for Christmas, and spent Christmas with them and was able to see my sister and my mom, and reconnect that way. And then they said, we would like for you guys to spend the rest of the school year there and we’ll come back in May, June, whenever the school year ends and bring you back home. Just so that way we could just have that relationship with your biological family. Amy: Yeah. Carlos: And then things would’ve fallen out with that, with kind of some financial support or just in general just talking with them. Amy: Yeah. Carlos: And it’s sparked kind of an investigation or a curiosity with my brother and he got into my sister’s phone and saw messages that patients have seen. Yeah, that caused a lot of legal trouble for that family. Amy: For the adoptive family? Carlos: Yes. For the adoptive family. And they were getting charged with child neglect and child abandonment, because there was really no intention for them to come back and get us. Amy: Sure. Carlos: Which again, I haven’t been able to see the fully disclosed like the documents of the court which I’ve been trying to get, but the GRAMA request isn’t. Amy: I’m sure. Carlos: They’re being hard with that. But just speaking with several people was I don’t think their intentions were bad. I think the intentions was like, let’s get these kids back with their family if they’d like. But with the charges going on and them potentially facing jail time, my now family said these are good people. Don’t charge them. We’ll take the kids. Drop the charges. And that’s what they did. They dropped the charges and everything with that adoptive family and my brother, they came and picked us up June 4th of 2012, 6 in the morning. I remember I was staying with my sister. Six in the morning they picked us up and we drove all the way back in a day to Blanding and moved in with the Reds now, my adoptive family. And then after a little bit my brother returned to a previous family that we had lived with and was adopted by them. And so his last name is Black and my last name is Redd. Amy: That worked out. Carlos: it’s funny. I like to tell that. So a lot of stuff happened within all those families that we lived in. And again, like I said, I don’t have no hard feelings against any of the families that I’ve ever lived with. Amy: Yeah. Carlos: Which is really incredible because you really shouldn’t have been bounced around that much. Amy: Yeah. But unfortunately it is your life experience. Carlos: Yeah. I mean honestly, looking back, I would not give it up because I think it’s made me to who I am today. Amy: That’s amazing. That is an incredible perspective. So tell us a little bit about what it was like being with your biological family. How did that, like how was reconnecting with them initially when you were 10 or so years old? Carlos: It was weird to start off with. Amy: Because really they’re strangers, right? Carlos: Yeah. The last time I saw them was when I was five. I’m the baby of seven. Out of biological siblings I have half siblings and a couple full siblings. And I never really got reconnected with the two older siblings very much. I don’t, and I still don’t really know them very well. But the others I’m very close with and I never really look at the ones that have a different parent than I as half. They’re all like, these are full siblings because I know I’ve known them now and been able to reconnect with them so well that I don’t see it that way. My sister, it was a little bit awkward at first. Trying to figure out like, I know you’re my sister, but I don’t really know you. After a little bit within that six months we were able to get to a point where it’s like, yeah this is really good. Even with her boyfriend, now husband, I’ve known him since almost just as long as I’ve known her now. So it’s really good. We function as a good family I think and we try to see each other when we can and talk on almost a daily basis. Amy: So were all of the biological siblings removed, or just you and your brother? Carlos: So all of us were. Amy: Okay. Carlos: Except for the older two. Amy: Okay. Carlos: Some of them came to Utah and some did not. Amy: Okay. Carlos: Yeah. So my brother and I came to Utah. The other siblings were either put into a group home because they were older. Amy: Okay. Carlos: My two older sisters were put into group homes. And then the one home in California that we stayed in, that was the sister that I was just talking about and my brother. Then when my brother and I were adopted they only took me and him to Utah. They tried to bring the other siblings over to see if that would work, but it didn’t end up working. Amy: Yeah. What I’m really amazed by is that you guys have all reconnected. That’s a big family and to reconnect is really impressive. So who would you credit that to? Is it you guys now as adults? Is it these adoptive families? Like how did you guys reconnect? Carlos: I think the second adoptive family that sent us back probably gets some of that credit. Because without them doing what they did, it may not have ever happened until later on. And you never know how reactions would’ve been later on if it was a different family that would’ve reconnected us. And it’s funny, speaking of reconnection, this last Thanksgiving was the first time in over 20 years that all of us—except for the older two—had been together under the same roof. Amy: That is wild. Carlos: And so Thanksgiving was the first time. Amy: And how was it? Carlos: It was great. Everyone was smiling, having a good time. You could just feel the love in the air. It was great. Amy: Yeah. And is everybody healthy and functioning and thriving? Carlos: For the most part, yeah. I think some obviously struggle more than others, but for the most part everyone seems to be doing really good. Amy: That is so incredible to me. I have adopted kids and I know my kids have half siblings. We’ve never had that opportunity to meet those kids or have that relationship. I think that is really unusual and quite a gift that you’ve been able to have that. Carlos: Yeah, it’s awesome. I talk to almost all of them all the time. My brother Gio actually lives in Provo, so he lives about 10 minutes from me. Amy: That is so cool. So you and your brother were originally together for almost all of those moves? Carlos: Yeah, pretty much everything. Amy: And then the final move got split. Carlos: Yeah. Amy: What was that experience like for you? Carlos: Although we were in the same town, I remember the court day pretty good. It felt like my heart was torn out of my chest. Amy: Yeah. Carlos: I was sitting in the back row of the courtroom, bawling my eyes out because it felt like I just lost my brother forever. I think it was just a 13- or 14-year-old kid being dramatic, but it was pretty hard. Fortunately we were in the same town. I could drive to his house and it would take me 10 minutes. The families did things together throughout the week or months. Then eventually he moved and I moved, and now here we are again living about 10 minutes apart. My wife gets mad sometimes because I want to do things with my brother more than sometimes with her. Amy: That’s amazing. Carlos: I love it. He’s one of my best friends because he’s experienced that with me. He was a protector. Amy: What would you tell people—maybe kids that are in foster care or families that are fostering—if siblings have to be split up? Carlos: That’s a hard question. I don’t know if I necessarily have advice, but I would tell them it’s going to be okay. As long as they do their part to keep in contact and show that they want to still be part of each other’s lives, it’s going to be okay. If they get removed I don’t think they need to cut off all communication. The advice would be to continue the relationship. Amy: I love that. I think that is a huge part of foster care. Your story is a really good example of why it’s so important. You have a huge network of biological, adoptive, and family connections because people kept the relationships open for you. Okay, so tell us a little bit about what you’re doing now as an adult. You’re married—what does your life look like now? Carlos: I currently work for Highway Patrol as a canine handler. The dog that I have is a Belgian Malinois, four years old, and he helps with detection of narcotics and hopefully at some point for apprehension if needed. I’ve been doing that for almost four years and it’s been a blast. I’ve definitely experienced some things that even a 20-year veteran hasn’t experienced. I had an accident when I was about a year and a half on the job where I took a car head-on going the wrong way. After I came back to work I got into the canine program. I’ve always been interested in interdiction and narcotics investigations. By God’s grace I was able to get into it. I’ve been recognized by the NAACP, by Governor Cox, received a Purple Heart for that accident, and also a Medal of Honor recipient from Orem Fire—the first time it was given to someone outside of their organization. Amy: Wow. Do you feel like your life experiences growing up influenced your decision to go into this line of work? Carlos: A hundred percent. I couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it is, but I believe the way I grew up influenced what I do now. It gives me a better perspective on how to do the job and be more compassionate when needed. But also knowing when there needs to be a boundary. Growing up in foster care and the experiences I had made me grow up fast. Amy: For sure. Carlos: I’ve been told a lot that I have the maturity of someone older than 25. I don’t always feel that way, but maybe it’s true. Amy: You’ve experienced so much. How do you think you are so resilient? You have experienced things that most people haven’t and things that no one should experience. Carlos: I have a couple reasons. The first one is probably my relationship with God. I’m not saying everyone has to believe in God, but I believe something guides people. For me it’s my relationship with God and knowing He guided my life to where I needed to be at certain times. The second reason would be my family—my mom and my dad. They’re good examples of resilient people who have gone through a lot. Amy: That’s amazing. Tell us what it was like being a permanent sibling while your family continued to foster kids. Carlos: Sometimes there was jealousy because when you’re the foster kid you get a lot of attention. Then suddenly there are other kids in the house and your parents are focusing on them. But it also helped me understand the struggles those kids were going through. I could connect with them easier than someone who had never experienced foster care. Sometimes I even sided with the foster kids because I understood exactly what they were going through. Amy: That’s a really interesting perspective. Carlos: There was a specific instance where one of the foster kids got into a physical altercation with one of my brothers and I stepped in and defended the kid in care. But everything smoothed out and we’re all good. Amy: What was it like when kids would reunify with their families? Carlos: I was happy for them. I already had a relationship with my family, so I wanted them to have that too. I wished them well. Amy: Have you kept in touch with any of them? Carlos: Yes and no. My parents have more than I have. Amy: What would you tell youth that are currently in foster care? Carlos: A mantra I keep for myself is that through pain and suffering there is light at the end of the tunnel. What you’re going through now can shape you into a better person if you face it head on. One day you’ll be able to help someone else. It can make you more understanding, empathetic, and less judgmental. Just keep going. There will be better days ahead. Amy: Did therapy help you? Carlos: I hated therapy. I refused to go. I felt like many therapists were just there to be there. What helped me most was allowing myself to feel the love of the parents and siblings around me. Sometimes kids don’t get that luxury, but there’s usually someone in the family you can connect with. I would encourage kids to find that connection. For example, one family we lived with for two and a half years still considers us family. When the mom passed away we were put on her headstone as one of her kids. Amy: Wow. Carlos: We still go to family functions with them. So I would encourage kids to find one or two people they can build a real connection with. A lot of healing can come from that. Amy: I love that. Kids do have to allow themselves to be loved, which is really hard when you’ve been hurt so many times. Carlos: Yeah, I still struggle with that. Amy: Thank you so much for joining us today and sharing your story. I know our listeners will really appreciate it. Carlos: Of course. Feel free to give my information to anyone. I’m always willing to talk or try to help someone out. Amy: That’s amazing. Thank you so much, Carlos. If you want to learn more about foster care, head over to www.utahfostercare.org.

In this episode of Keep it Humane: The Podcast, Daniel Ettinger and Ashley Bishop unpack a controversial and costly case out of Los Angeles that has many in the animal welfare field asking hard questions.A Los Angeles County jury recently awarded $5.4 million to a woman who was severely injured by a dog while picking it up from a city animal shelter for transport to a rescue group. The dog — a Belgian Malinois named Maximus — reportedly had a documented history of biting multiple people, including incidents that sent a teenager and a shelter employee to the hospital. The transporter alleged she was never warned about the dog's dangerous history before the attack. Daniel and Ashley break down what happened, what the jury decided, and why the City of Los Angeles was found 62.5% liable, with additional responsibility assigned to the rescue organization and the transporter. But beyond the headlines, this episode explores the deeper issues the case raises for animal shelters and the professionals who work in them every day:What are the legal and ethical obligations when a dog has a serious bite history? How should shelters communicate risk to adopters, transporters, and rescue partners? When does advocacy for saving animals collide with public safety and staff safety? And what lessons should animal control agencies and shelter leaders take from multimillion-dollar verdicts like this one?Drawing on their experience in animal control and shelter operations, Daniel and Ashley discuss how cases like this shape policy, liability, and the public perception of animal shelters — and why transparency and professional judgment are more important than ever in modern animal welfare. If you work in animal control, sheltering, rescue, or law enforcement, this is a conversation you won't want to miss.

Eric addresses a client's critique that his recent business decisions—specifically adding a Belgian Malinois to his crew—constitute "jumping the shark." Triplet uses this pop-culture reference to explain that what spectators perceive as a desperate or gimmicky decline is actually a strategic evolution for his brand. He reveals that the dog serves as both a security detail against death threats and a safety measure in rattlesnake-prone job sites, illustrating the gap between public perception and leadership reality. By reflecting on past risks, such as signing a million-dollar lease during a recession, he argues that true growth often looks like madness to those outside the process. The episode is a motivational call for leaders to embrace bold risks and ignore the discomfort of onlookers while leveling up their professional capabilities.  Key Takeaways: Embrace the discomfort of growth even when spectators or skeptics suggest that you have lost your way. Evaluate your major life decisions based on whether they expand your capabilities rather than just adding noise. Take calculated risks that align with your long-term vision, even when the timing feels uncertain or scary. Invest in your own development by teaching others, which forces you to become a better communicator and leader. Surround yourself with a community of growth-minded individuals who provide the peer pressure needed to reach the next level.

He has so many tales of adventure and danger that he said getting stabbed under his vest during a domestic wasn't even a big deal compared to all the times he's been shot at. After years as a law enforcement officer in Pennsylvania, plus a stint training K-9s for Navy SEALs, he came to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. (He passed up on an offer from NASA SWAT, which means working at our agency is cooler than… er, fighting aliens? Or is that Space Force? We're really not sure.) While here, he's worked on the beaches and in the Marine Unit for a welcome change from snow and slush in the concrete jungle. Right now he's in the Training Division, keeping PCSO on the forefront of the most innovative technology, including our groundbreaking use of Virtual Reality. Hear about how he was first on scene at a mass shooting, how he put his life on the line for $5.25 an hour, and why he loved working with the beautiful chaos that is a Belgian Malinois. In this essential training discussion, we address a common but critical question from a Malinois owner: "Is my training work being undone when my fear-reactive dog practices reactive behaviors in our own backyard?" A 3-year-old spayed Belgian Malinois displays fear-reactive behavior both on walks and at home behind the fence. When dogs or people pass by the yard, the dog reacts, and when these "threats" move away, it reinforces the dog's belief that their reactive behavior "worked" - creating a cycle of self-reinforcement that undermines all training progress. | Links mentioned: How We Manage Dogs in Our Home: https://university.leerburg.com/Catalog/viewCourse/cid/14 | Dealing with Dominant and Aggressive Dogs: https://university.leerburg.com/Catalog/viewCourse/cid/137 | Leash Reactivity with Michael Ellis: https://university.leerburg.com/Catalog/viewCourse/cid/165 | Leash Reactivity with Tyler Muto: https://university.leerburg.com/Catalog/viewCourse/cid/15 |  Remote Collar Training for the Pet Owner: https://university.leerburg.com/Catalog/viewCourse/cid/94

Send us a textI've known of the gentleman in this episode for over 30 years, but just actually met him face to face around 6 months ago. Ken is one of the pioneers as it relates to working k9's in the state of North Carolina. It is likely that he introduced the Malinois to police work in NC. The description below does not come close to describing his accomplishments or contributions to the police K9 community. If you don't know his name there's a good reason. From my perspective Ken doesn't have a huge social media footprint. The reason is that he is still very actively working procuring and training dogs and not focused on self promotion. It was an honor to pick his brain and stroll down memory lane. Orchard Knoll K9 was started in 1983 by Ken Mathias. Ken was with the Raleigh Police Department and started Raleigh's Police K-9 Program. Ken's original donated dog failed on the street prompting Ken to sell his truck and purchase Juno a Belgian Malinois imported by Gerry Lapham from Germany. Juno became the first Malinois in the United States to achieve the United States Police Canine Associations PD1, PD2 and Detector Dog certification. Ken continued to import dogs from Europe for Police Departments across the United States providing over 5000 top quality dogs for police service. Ken continued with the Raleigh Police Department rising through the ranks across multiple divisions until retirement at the rank of Division Commander (Major). Upon retiring from Raleigh Police Department Ken went on to become a special agent with the NC Department of Special Investigations serving as their Program Coordinator and K9 trainer. Ken is now retired from the SBI, but working diligently procuring and training dogs at Orchard Knoll. Contact Ken at: ken@orchardknollk9.com or (919) 622-4807.We are pleased to have Vested Interest in K9's as a sponsor. We are back to share a few more great performances from our team and other friends, and even Abby Taylor joins us to observe to see what's going on and enjoy the show. Beyond the hear out next week as we get to interview her as well, which we are very much looking forward to! Sorry, we meant to say on the lookout for a good interview next week which we are going to conduct with Abby TaylorFor a more descriptive adventure to see what we're getting into. We have paste the YouTube video description below, which you will find by searching vision cast on YouTube powered by story craze network.Get ready to dive headfirst into another hilariously chaotic episode of Vision Cast After Dark – where family-friendly goes to die and the real fun begins! Angela J (aka Cloud 11) is back, attempting to steer this runaway train, flanked by her ever-supportive co-host Phillip, while George, the resident "pain in the butt," provides commentary (and groans) from the virtual sidelines. This week, George makes a miraculous recovery from a pre-show seizure, proving his "resilient doodle" status yet again, much to the feigned chagrin of Angela who was almost free to have Phillip as her undisputed right-hand man for life. Alas, George couldn't bear the thought and showed up anyway, ready for the usual dose of affectionate torment. We're thrilled to welcome our special guest for the next few weeks, the multi-talented Abby Taylor! You might know her from the ACB community karaoke scene. In honor of Jazz Appreciation Month, Abby shares a deeply moving and beautifully performed original poem, "Dad, Fats, and Me," recalling precious memories listening to Fats Waller's "Your Feet's Too Big" with her father. Get ready for goosebumps (and maybe grab a tissue!). Plus, tune in next week when we get to formally interview Abby!Hold onto your keyboards, tech fans! Donald unveils a mind-blowing surprise: a custom note-taking program created with Chat GPT! This slick browser app saves your notes automatically, can use Chat GPT to polish your text, and even integrates with 11 Labs to convert your notes into audio using your API key. The code itself? So complex it apparently makes Angela choke just looking at it! The best part? Donald generously offers a FREE copy to the entire Vision Cast crew (and Angela promises a bonus review episode soon!).The AI magic doesn't stop there! Angela and Phillip share their own creation, the unapologetically proud anthem "Unapologetically Bisexual With You," conjured into existence by the AI text-to-song generator, Udio. Angela also treats us (and possibly tortures George) with her hilarious Udio-generated parody of "Elvira," aptly titled... "Angela." We delve into the rapidly evolving world of AI music, and Angela gives Udio two thumbs up (especially over that other platform, Suno).Big news on the home front: Angela has officially escaped the basement! She's broadcasting live from her brand-new, upstairs studio. Say goodbye to questionable acoustics and (mostly) hello to fewer dog-related interruptions... though her adorable Belgian Malinois, Lulu, still manages a brief, heart-stealing cameo.Of course, it wouldn't be Vision Cast After Dark without the relentless roasting of George. Prepare for laughs as the crew discusses everything from his alleged "Micro Penis" to his new title, "Dime Dick Doodles." It's all in good fun... mostly. From heartfelt poetry and cutting-edge AI demonstrations to studio upgrades and side-splitting banter (mostly at George's expense), this episode is a rollercoaster of tech, talent, and pure Vision Cast chaos. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

Host: Jason Rigby   Guest: Elizabeth Anne Johnson, Animal Healer and Author Book: Know Your Dog's True Nature: Understanding Canine Personality through the Five Elements (Findhorn Press/Inner Traditions Episode Overview   In this enlightening episode of the HDL Podcast, host Jason Rigby welcomes Elizabeth Anne Johnson, an animal healer with nearly 40 years of experience and the author of Know Your Dog's True Nature. Together, they explore the ancient Five Element Theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as a sacred map to understanding canine personalities and the profound spiritual bond between humans and dogs. From the soul-level pact forged centuries ago to the karmic mirroring of rescue dogs, this conversation unveils how our furry companions guide us toward healing, self-discovery, and a deeper connection to nature.     Key Segments and Highlights   Introduction (00:00 - 01:06) Jason's Welcome: Jason introduces the episode with enthusiasm, highlighting Elizabeth's book and its promise to decode the soul of dogs through the Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. He frames dogs as more than pets—sacred guides reconnecting us to our wild hearts. Elizabeth's Greeting: Elizabeth expresses her excitement to join Jason and dive into this fun, spiritual exploration.   The Ancient Soul Pact Between Humans and Dogs (01:06 - 04:47) Question: Jason references a poetic line from the book—“Dogs too have endured and thrived beside us as we have beside them”—and asks about the soul-level pact humans made with dogs centuries ago. Elizabeth's Insight: She describes this pact as rooted in “kindred respect” between two natural beings—humans and dogs—meeting with curiosity and a sense of safety. Historically, dogs helped humans hunt and find food, while humans offered warmth, companionship, and protection. This 50-50 exchange has evolved into a modern pact where humans strive to hear dogs' voices and honor their wild essence. Practical Tip: Elizabeth encourages letting dogs spend time outdoors to stimulate their senses, a nod to their feral roots, enhancing the bond and their happiness.   The Five Elements: An Elemental Awakening (04:47 - 05:13) Jason's Prompt: Quoting the book's line about the Five Elements providing “X-ray vision” into a dog's personality, Jason sets the stage for a deep dive into Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, noting their dual role in understanding dogs and ourselves. Elizabeth's Macro View: She frames the Five Element Theory as a 5,000-year-old, nature-based “mindful guidance system” fostering compassion, empathy, and understanding across species. Rooted in her personal journey—finding solace in nature amid a challenging childhood—the theory connects behaviors to natural cycles, offering a lens beyond mere archetypes.   Exploring the Five Elements (05:13 - 39:09) 1. Wood Element: Spring and Growth (07:46 - 14:22) Overview: Associated with spring, Wood dogs are determined, purposeful “army sergeants” (e.g., Belgian Malinois, German Shepherds, Rottweilers) excelling as working dogs in military or police roles. Traits: Athletic, fearless, competitive, with a need for movement and direction. Their emotional default is anger, manifesting as aggression or frustration in dogs. Spiritual Angle: Jason probes the interplay of energies when Wood dogs' growth isn't guided. Elizabeth explains their energy seeks movement; without clear boundaries, they take over, reflecting a need for humans to lead with presence and heart-centered direction rather than force. Practical Tip: Set consistent boundaries and offer gentle praise (“good dog”) to channel their potential, avoiding overstimulation with excessive rewards.   2. Fire Element: Summer and Joy (14:22 - 22:32) Overview: Fire dogs embody summer's joy, acting as magnetic “divas” (e.g., Golden Retrievers, Border Collies with red hues) who thrive on social connection and adoration. Traits: Charismatic, playful, prone to separation anxiety, with barking and licking as their sense expressions (tongue). Their emotional default is “disturbance of the Shen” (panic, anxiety) when overstimulated. Spiritual Angle: Fire's heart-centric nature leaves lasting impressions, reflecting humanity's draw to fire for warmth and memory-making. Elizabeth shares how these dogs linger in people's hearts long after they're gone. Practical Tip: Ground yourself and use the Yin Tang acupoint (between the eyebrows) to calm their heart fire, restoring balance during anxiety spikes.   3. Earth Element: Late Summer and Nurturing (22:32 - 24:50) Overview: Earth dogs, tied to late summer, are quintessential caregivers (e.g., Labs) who love family, kids, and routine, offering gentle, nurturing energy. Traits: Kind, generous, slow-moving, with a knack for service roles like Reading with Rover or disease detection. Their emotional default is worry or obsession. Spiritual Angle: Mirroring Earth's role in sustaining life, these dogs caretake unconditionally, teaching humans reciprocity with nature. Practical Tip: Maintain a peaceful, routine-based home to meet their need for stability and comfort.   4. Metal Element: Autumn and Purpose (24:50 - 28:22) Overview: Metal dogs, autumn's purposeful “librarians” (e.g., Jack Russells), are intelligent, driven, and inflexible, excelling in search and rescue with their strong noses. Traits: Methodical, reserved, with a deep need for purpose and trust. Their emotional default is grief, especially after loss. Spiritual Angle: Reflecting metal's mined rigidity, they teach precision and loyalty, challenging humans to earn trust through consistency. Practical Tip: Provide quiet recovery spaces and purposeful tasks (e.g., hiking, scent work) to honor their drive.   5. Water Element: Winter and Wisdom (28:22 - 39:09) Overview: Water dogs, winter's empathic shapeshifters, embody wisdom and sensitivity, often rehomed due to visceral fear (e.g., Labs in a broader sense, but defined by behavior, not breed). Traits: Deep, quirky, reflective, with hearing as their sense and a tendency to mirror human fears. Many, like Elizabeth's Pretzel, have traumatic starts. Spiritual Angle: Jason asks about fear and wisdom's alchemy. Elizabeth shares how water dogs' fear drives growth, reflecting karmic wounds (e.g., her own fearlessness turned off, now relearned). They push humans to face inner fears for mutual healing. Practical Tip: Offer patience, quiet presence, and trust-building to help them adapt, recognizing their role as spiritual teachers.   Preparing for a Soul Bond with a Dog (39:09 - 44:18) Question: Jason asks how to spiritually prepare for meeting a dog and ensure a soul bond beyond superficial attraction. Elizabeth's Advice: Be Present and Grounded: Quiet the mind, feel your feet, and breathe to let your heart—not brain—lead. Heart as Voice: Process through the heart first, then let the mind follow   Links: Purchase the book: ElizabethAnneJohnson.com/books Watch Elizabeth's TEDx Talk: Four Life Lessons from Our Old Dogs Websites: ElizabethAnneJohnson.com | 4LeggedWellness.com Instagram: @5elementdogs Facebook: ElizabethJohnson4Leggeds | Profile LinkedIn: 4LeggedWellness

Episode 48: Recorded February 21, 2025 "I've never screamed so loud. The bug had bit. I had a tremendous passion for it." David Peck on watching his first Greyhound nearly win a stakes race at Victoryland Show Notes David Peck started out training bird dogs in the early 1970s. One of his clients was a friend who became involved in the new parimutuel racing in Texas. He visited David and recommended that he try his hand in training Greyhounds based on his success with bird dogs. Greyhounds gave David "renewed energy and lit me up." David started out with two pups, and he started training them like his bird dogs. His methodology worked, and one of those first Greyhounds became a top competitor at the Victoryland Greyhound track in Alabama. During one of his summer bird dog training sessions, he was called away to cheer on his Greyhound at a final stakes race. That hound took second place, just barely beaten at the wire. It was the start of an American Greyhound racing career that lasted well into the 2010s. After founding Clear the Way (CTW) Kennels, David continued to improve his training methods. In particular, he focused on track design and surfaces. He encouraged American dog tracks to adopt Australian-style track design to improve the overall footing and safety for racing Greyhounds. In this episode, host John Parker talks with David about his decades of dog training -- bird dogs, American racing Greyhounds, and -- now -- Belgian Malinois. David shares his experiences with both training and breeding Greyhounds, describing the differences and similarities between the breeds with which he's worked. He also talks about how he worked to make Greyhound racing safer and keep the sport alive. Links Victoryland Dog Track (Wikipedia) Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (Website)

Welcome to the latest TWC podcast, where we challenge one of the most controversial and misleading documents in the dog training industry: the AVSAB position statement on training methods. Force-free trainers often uphold this statement as the ultimate authority, claiming it represents a scientific consensus that should dictate the industry's practices. But we believe this statement is not only flawed but also dangerous and unethical. Today, we got together to examine its weaknesses and set the record straight!Joining me are three exceptional experts with unparalleled experience in dog training, breeding, and behavioral science:First, Stephanie Cottee, an animal behavior and welfare scientist, researcher, and co-owner of Black Kraken K9. Stephanie combines her scientific expertise with practical experience as a working German Shepherd trainer and breeder, bringing a unique perspective to the conversation.Next, Dr. Stewart Hilliard, a behavioral neuroscientist with a PhD and 45 years of experience in training and breeding working dogs. Much of his career has been devoted to military dog training, establishing him as one of the foremost authorities in the field. Finally, Michael Ellis, a legendary trainer with 45 years of experience. Trust The Plan Pray “The Enormity Of What Is Coming Will Shock The World” …President Donald Trump, Q+ And the angels are also using men because it is in the Word that Cyrus, a type of Trump, destroys DS Babylon. Right Now a Globally Coordinated Military Strike Designed to Obliterate the Globalist Power Structure is Bringing in the Greatest Transfer of Wealth in History Did you know that angels only fulfill His Word and only listen to the voice of the Lord? Psa 103:20  Bless Jehovah, ye his angels, That are mighty in strength, that fulfil his word, Hearkening unto the voice of his word. One man who dealt with angels asked a high ranking one if he commanded them. The angel said we only obey the voice of God. This is true. If the word of the Lord comes out of man's mouth they obey it as it was with Annanias and Sapphira. When our missionaries were being killed by the Jesuits and Jehovah Witnesses because their people were being converted, the man who was over the Jesuits contacted me. He said very hypocritically and irately that Your people are killing our people.  I said to him, “You have never seen one of our missionaries raise a weapon against any of you or even to defend themselves.” This seemed to stun him but it was true and he didn't argue the point. I said you only have a couple of choices here. Either the JW's are warring against you again or the angels of God are killing you. He couldn't take that the angels were killing them because that would make him and his religion evil. I knew the angels were defending the missionaries. I asked one of my angels what was happening.  He said when the Jesuit mob gets too close to hiding missionaries we drop them. I said are there any marks on them? He said, No, so I said, to this Jesuit leader “there is no physical marks on them that is the angels and they don't make mistakes or do evil”. They killed that evil man and the Jesuits made a mask of him and put it on a turncoat and they killed him too. And for you the listener today and your understanding, the angels do not live in time and they know every person who is chosen from the foundation of the world and do not harm them. Now I tell you it is the same with the DS and their leaders. Nobody can tell the angels to do anything that is against God's will. After warning DS leaders who then ignored them,, the angels have fed them to the sharks and given some their own monkeypox. For 53 years I have worked every day to save people from sin and that is my heart. I wait expectantly for the Soloman (peaceful) Man-child ministry to come when the peace is won by the David Man-child ministry. We are almost there. Tues. 17 Sept. 2024 “The Storm Is Here: Hidden Bunkers Raided, Children Rescued, and the Deep State Exposed” …Ben Fulford on Telegram The Deep State's grip on our nation is weakening as their secrets come to light. The truth, long concealed, is now emerging, and the powerful are scrambling to maintain control. Brave actions are peeling back the layers of deception, revealing the sinister operations that have kept the American people in the dark for too long. February 18, 2024: The Georgetown Raid: Tension filled the air in Georgetown, Washington, DC, as Unit X, a group of elite military personnel with trained Belgian Malinois, stormed a hidden bunker beneath the city's streets. Inside, they uncovered horrors orchestrated by the Deep State—47 children were rescued, and high-profile arrests followed, including a sitting congressman. The mainstream media remained silent, complicit in covering up this monumental event. Operation Eclipse Exposed: March 15, 2024 marked another victory against the Deep State. Leaked documents from a private intelligence firm in Langley, Virginia, exposed “Operation Eclipse,” a plan to fracture the nation through media manipulation and engineered social unrest. The Deep State aimed to bring America to its knees, paving the way for martial law. However, Trump's executive orders from 2020 thwarted this sinister plot just in time. FEMA Camps Revealed: On June 22, 2024, a whistleblower from the Department of Homeland Security risked everything to reveal that FEMA camps, supposedly for natural disasters, were being used as holding facilities for political dissidents and t********d children. Satellite imagery and intercepted communications confirmed these camps' existence in remote areas of Nevada and Montana, exposing the Deep State's depravity. The Silicon Valley “S*****e”: August 8, 2024, saw the mysterious death of a tech billionaire in his Silicon Valley mansion. The official story—s*****e—was a lie. This billionaire, a key financial architect of the Deep State, had been funding operations to undermine Trump's efforts to drain the swamp. Unit X had been monitoring him, and when they struck, they ensured he could no longer threaten the nation. This was not a s*****e but an execution in the war against those who seek to destroy America. The Banksters Exposed Fast forward to September 8, 2024. The pace is accelerating. Switzerland—long a safe haven for the cabal's dirty money—is under siege. The Swiss National Bank has been exposed as a laundering operation for the Rothschilds, CIA, and Mossad. Billions have flowed through these accounts, funding bioweapons research and secret space operations. The Great Awakening is in full swing. Leaks are flooding the internet, exposing Swiss banks as the heartbeat of the devil's operation. They've manipulated currencies, hoarded gold, and funded wars they claimed to mediate. But the reckoning is here. The White Hats and Q Ops, with the Space Force, have intercepted more than just financial transactions. They have the blackmail archives—the files that kept politicians, CEOs, and Hollywood stars in line. These are the secrets that have protected the cabal's sick agenda for too long. Epstein was only the beginning. His island was the hub for t*********g and a***e, but now, Trump's knowledge of these operations is a weapon against the elite. The mainstream media won't tell you this, but Trump's Sovereign Wealth Fund is the declaration of war against the Rothschild's debt-slavery system. The Federal Reserve is crumbling. $3 trillion in hidden reserves have been uncovered. These funds, stolen from the American people, were used to fund global chaos—from fake pandemics to weather manipulation. Yes, they've been playing God with storms, controlling droughts and earthquakes to instill fear and control. The Deep State's Final Struggle: The Deep State is in full retreat, but the battle is far from over. Every day, new revelations expose the extent of their crimes and influence. The fight for the soul of America is entering its most critical phase. The deep state's reach extends into every facet of society—government, media, corporations, and institutions once trusted to protect us. They have manipulated and controlled us through fear and division for years, but 2024 marks the turning point. The Tide Is Turning: The Storm is here, and the Deep State is running scared. They are not invincible, and the tide is turning. The hunters have become the hunted. Every action they take is monitored, every plot countered, and every secret exposed. The deep state's time is running out, and the final, decisive blow is coming. NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden has just blown the lid off a terrifying agenda hidden deep in Alaska. Documents reveal that HAARP, which they claimed was about “scientific research,” is in reality a weapon designed to control and manipulate humanity on a global scale. HAARP's Dark Purpose: For years, the military has disguised HAARP as a research station, keeping its true mission hidden from the public. According to Snowden's leaks, HAARP is no innocent experiment—it's a weapon of mass manipulation, targeting people's brains, causing what seem like natural deaths—strokes, heart attacks. This is more than a conspiracy theory. It's happening now, right under our noses. Mind Control at an Unimaginable Level: Snowden revealed that HAARP can remotely control the minds of those who speak out, turning people into irrational, “crazy” individuals in the eyes of the world. Their goal? Silencing dissenters, using these frequency waves to make their opposition crumble from within. Think about it—the world leaders, media moguls, and CEOs you see on TV are just puppets, controlled through advanced technology. Ever wonder why some of the most powerful voices for truth go silent overnight? The Smoking Gun – Proof of HAARP's Control: These documents aren't just hearsay. Snowden shared secret emails from top military officials confirming the horrific truth behind HAARP's operations. This is no longer speculation—it's fact. You're either awake or you're being played. They want you docile, blind, and submissive, all while the elite pull the strings behind the scenes. HAARP's Reach – More Than Just Alaska: It's not just Alaska. There are multiple HAARP facilities worldwide. In Sweden, Russia, even beneath the cover of cell towers right here at home. They've built a global network to keep their control tight.  WARNING!!! At This Very Moment in New York UN Global Elites Were Positioning Themselves To Completely Control People of the World via Passage of the Global Digital Compact, or the Illuminati's Great Reset (Pray this down) Meanwhile… On Monday Trump Announced the Launch of World Liberty Financial Crypto Exchange, the Apparent Precursor to 130 Sovereign Countries' Gold/Asset-Backed Global Currency Reset Which Ensured The People Would Have Complete Control Over Their Own Monies & Provided Freedom From Debt For All …. Checkmate!!! Judy Note: We're sitting on the edge of a Global Blackout and Emergency Broadcast System (EBS) Activation, where normal communication will cease for ten days. It's called Operation Stormbreaker – the greatest Sting Operation ever. Military Units have been mobilizing Worldwide for a coordinated military strike to obliterate the Globalist Power Structure. “It's only wise to have at least a month's supply of food, water, cash, medicine and essential items on hand for yourself, your family and to share with others in case of emergency.” Judy Note: Right now the 79th U.N. General Assembly was meeting in New York to consider putting their stamp of approval on a document called the Global Digital Compact. If passed, the Compact would give the U.N. Secretary-General totalitarian control over all people across the Globe, overriding governments and trampling individual freedoms. (I believe Our annulling of this will last till mid trib.) A non-elected Deep State UN official could demand every person on the planet implant digital IDs and vaccine passports on their person for the sole purpose of Deep State surveillance. Worse, the tattooed ID some define as the Mark of Cain, would give those Globalists control over individual bank accounts, and lives. Without compliance, you would be nothing—unable to work, unable to live. Sound familiar? This will not happen now but mid-trib  The UN Deep State Cabal would have the power to declare at their will, global emergencies, lockdowns and travel restrictions. – a perfect plan for implementation of the Illuminati's New World Order. The Global Military Alliance does have it all. They have overtaken the Z******s and Elites who pull the strings of the World —those at the very top had fallen: the 13 Illuminati families, Vatican, Royal Families, Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Gates, Obama, Clintons – were under White Hat control even if they, or their clones, or perhaps actors behind sophisticated masks, still paraded around in public like nothing happened. As head of the Global Military Alliance President Trump has either replaced or had control over them all. He's the true ruler now, and not just of America, but over the entire world. Like Trump, President Kennedy knew all about the CIA Child S*x T*********g Ring Operations and the Deep State Military using s*x operations to blackmail politicians, that then controlled health, education, Mainstream Media, music and film industries, along with foreign government officials who were connected to Money Laundering Operations and the Global Financial System. That's why this Deep State Cabal assassinated Lincoln, and tried to assassinate JFK, Trump and others because these Patriots  were trying to give taxpayer monies back to The People. It was why the Q Movement was formed and now operating at full speed That bubble was set to burst on Wed. 20 Nov. 2024 with the start of Nuremberg Trials 2.0 which were bound to reveal all. Pray down the new plagues Another bubble was popping across the Globe by way of more planned epidemics. Despite his firsthand account, his testimony was never included in the 9/11 Commission Report. Trump's golf outing was a last minute decision. Yet, Routh was already hiding in the bushes, waiting for Trump to walk by on the golf course with his GoPro camera set up for the “perfect shot.” How did this well trained killer make it that far by himself and how did he know where Trump would be? How did Routh know Trump would be out golfing at that exact time and at that exact place on the golf course? I was told by the Lord when I asked this same question, “Laura Loomer” and the angels gave her to the Alliance. This is a deep state very sexy plant who travels by plane everywhere the Rally Trump goes and knows his plans. The real Trump is safe and faithful to his wife. Why did Democrat Left leaning Time Magazine on 9/11 come out with a cover that had a picture of Trump in a Golf Cart going down a sand hole with the word “Trouble” to the side of him? They were told by the DS their plan, Why did Democrat Left leaning CNN now come out to say that the shots WERE in fact, directed at Trump after they originally reported that this was an isolated incident and Trump wasn't in danger. Oops the truth got out, had to cover themselves. Why did both of Trump's assailants appear in a Deep State Cabal BlackRock ad prior to their assassination attempts? Apparently, several Secret Service agents returned fire at both of the recent Trump Assassination Attempts shooters. All of them then fled, and were apprehended or k****d shortly after. The fact that the FBI, Homeland Security, US Secret Service and or local Police allowed two or more people with AK-47s in an active firefight anywhere close to where Trump was speaking or golfing was very alarming to say the least. Golfing opens up too much unwatched territory for shooters. I'm only an outside observer, but with Trump head of the Global Military Alliance which was arresting thousands of corrupt Deep State Globalists, it's pretty obvious to me that the two recent Trump Assassination Attempts were Homeland Security- FBI-Biden Administration Inside Jobs. But of course, those were the very agencies that held the power and were required to “investigate” the incidents, so why should we worry? Don't worry, act and speak faith! And, why should we worry that the U.N. was positioning itself to be the center of Global control with undefined powers? After all, only our Freedoms were at stake. The Lord is sovereign over the beast. Let Him speak through you “Trust The Plan. Pray: Sunday's second Trump Assassination Attempt was believed to be a Homeland Security-FBI Inside Job – which brings us closer to the Big Bang Three Day Event. The Pentagon is done waiting for compromised bureaucrats. Orders are coming directly from a clandestine command center deep within Cheyenne Mountain. And it's not just the U.S.—forces overseas are joining the fight. Bases in Germany and Italy are preparing for joint operations with loyal NATO factions. The global purge is about to begin. I read the grid may be sabotaged. If so an adapter to charge your phone from the cigarette lighter in your car is cheap; maybe $3. Also Tesla Free Energy may go up.) But here's the kicker: the Emergency Broadcast System will be activated worldwide. Nonstop, 24/7, 8-hour documentaries exposing the darkest secrets of the elite—fraud, corruption, pedophilia, and their arrests—will play three times a day. The truth will be unleashed. The military is taking down Cabal-controlled governments worldwide, executing mass arrests based on 500,000 sealed indictments. Last month, I took Hazel to detection training school in Canada. I did it because Hazel is a working dog. A Belgian Malinois. Belgians are the most agile, heroic, and (potentially) lethal dog breed on the planet. That's why law enforcement agencies use them as detection and apprehension dogs. Hazel was too small and too sweet to officially work for law enforcement, which is one reason I decided to adopt her. But she's still a Malinois, and she's not built to be a family pet... Which is why I signed us up for detection training school...so I better understood how to give her what SHE needs, as a Malinois. The detection class itself was really fun, but going to Canada was an expensive, exhausting pain in the butt in pretty much every way. Seriously, there were plenty of reasons NOT to go...like the money (I spent thousands of dollars on the class, the travel, and the Airbnb I stayed at), like being gone from home for too long, and like having to get up at 4 AM to get my work done before the class started. But I did it all anyway, and even though it really kicked my butt, I'm SO glad I did it. Why? Because I might not get the chance again. What if the training company shuts down? What if the world situation changed, and I couldn't fly to Canada? What if my schedule got even fuller, and it got even MORE inconvenient to make the time? I get how easy it is to justify postponing stuff because you assume you'll get another chance. But as I share in this week podcast episode, one day you WON'T have the chance. Tomorrow is not promised. And if you keep waiting for "one day," you may "one day" yourself into missing out entirely...including the chance to be healthy, slim, and strong. GDP Script/ Top Stories for July 31st        Publish Date:  July 31st         From the BG AD Group Studio Welcome to the Gwinnett Daily Post Podcast. Today is Wednesday, July 31st and Happy 62nd Birthday to actor Wesley Snipes. ***07.31.24 – BIRTHDAY – WESLEY SNIPES*** I'm Keith Ippolito and here are your top stories presented by KIA Mall of Georgia. Gwinnett Students Exceed State On Milestones Gwinnett Police Mourn Death of Retired K-9 Elsa More Gwinnett School Board Members Speak Out About AP African-American Studies Plus, Bruce Jenkins' conversation with Leah McGrath from Ingles Markets on how to manage snacking. All of this and more is coming up on the Gwinnett Daily Post podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen and subscribe! Break 1: M.O.G.   STORY 1: Gwinnett Students Exceed State On Milestones Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) students generally outperform their statewide peers on Georgia Milestones Assessments, excelling in 11 out of 13 areas. However, results still fall short of the ambitious goals set by the district's Blueprint For The Future plan. Less than 50% of students in several grades, particularly in English/language arts and social studies, achieved proficient or distinguished scores. Notably, 8th-grade science and high school physical science results were significantly below state averages. GCPS is analyzing these results to improve strategies and outcomes. The full details will be presented to the school board in August, with math results expected in September. STORY 2: Gwinnett Police Mourn Death Of Retired K-9 Elsa Gwinnett County Police K-9 Elsa, who retired last fall after eight years of service, passed away last Thursday due to a spinal illness. Elsa, a Belgian Malinois, joined the department in 2016, thanks to a $12,000 donation for her training. During her career, she participated in 545 service calls, apprehended 51 suspects, and was involved in 87 narcotic apprehensions and 133 evidence recoveries. Her retirement came in October due to declining performance. Elsa was cared for by her final handler, Cpl. Austin Hylton, and will be remembered for her significant contributions to public safety. STORY 3:   More Gwinnett School Board Members Speak Out About AP African-American Studies Gwinnett School Board Vice Chair Karen Watkins co-signed a letter from the Georgia Federation of Teachers demanding an explanation from Georgia Schools Superintendent Richard Woods for not recommending state funding for the AP African-American Studies course. This decision, which has sparked backlash including from Gov. Brian Kemp, means the course cannot be offered as an AP course in Gwinnett due to funding and GPA implications. The letter, also supported by local churches and advocacy groups, seeks a revamp of the curriculum to be more inclusive. Watkins and other Gwinnett board members argue that students should have access to such courses without bearing additional costs. The Georgia Federation of Teachers plans to push for legislation to address these educational inequities in the 2025 session.   We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.874.3200 for more info. We'll be right back Break 2: TOM WAGES STORY 4: NOW OPEN:  New 280-Unit Apartment Complex in Norcross The Clara By Broadstone, a 280-unit apartment complex by Alliance Residential, has opened at 5420 Buford Highway in Norcross. Located near downtown Norcross and close to Lillian Webb Park and the Norcross library, the complex offers one- and two-bedroom apartments featuring modern amenities like granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and hardwood-style floors. The property includes a 24-hour fitness center, resort-style saltwater pool, coworking space, pet park, and outdoor dining area. This development is part of a broader effort to revitalize the Buford Highway area into a more urban and vibrant community. STORY 5: Brunswick sets cargo record while Savannah suffers decline   In fiscal 2024, the Port of Brunswick saw significant growth, handling a record 876,000 units of Roll-on/Roll-off cargo, a 21% increase from the previous year. In contrast, the Port of Savannah experienced a 2.3% decline in containerized-cargo volume, managing 5.25 million twenty-foot equivalent units. Brunswick's growth is attributed to rising consumer demand, expanded trade, new car manufacturers, and cargo diversions from Baltimore. Despite Savannah's decline, the Georgia Ports Authority remains optimistic and continues to invest in infrastructure, including new facilities at both ports. We'll be back in a moment   Break 3: INGLES  3   And now here is Bruce Jenkins' conversation with Leah McGrath about how to manage snacking.   ***LEAH MCGRATH INERVIEW***   We'll have final thoughts after this.   Break 4: INGLES 4 Signoff – Thanks again for hanging out with us on today's Gwinnett Daily Post Podcast. She's featured in a lot of my content and is quite a character.) "Why did you grow out your hair and change the color?" "Why are you competing in bodybuilding again?" "Are you SEEING anyone?" Yep, these are all personal questions about me rather than about the Code Red program. (I've also done podcasts where I answer common Code Red program questions.) Caught up with Mike Lilley for an interview. Unfortunately, Rich was having some technical difficulties and could not join us. We will be rectifying this by the next episode. I believe you will find Mike's methods to be innovative and sound. The proof is always in the pudding. His name is more and more becoming synonymous with solid tracking. He's just one of the more humble, pleasant, talented men in the business. Hope you enjoy this one as much as we did. There's a lot of information to unpack. Training working dogs was a skill passed down from my father at an early age. This knowledge proved invaluable during my K9 handler recruitment as a Law Enforcement Officer and once again during my certification as a Police K9 trainer. My first K9 partner, Roscoe, was a yellow Labrador we rescued from a local shelter. He put all my training to the test, but we became an unstoppable team. Roscoe showed me the potential of misunderstood dogs and sparked what would later become my driving philosophy as a pet dog trainer. It wasn't until my second Police K9 partner, a Belgian Malinois named Neko, that I rooted my training principles and began helping local dog owners in my area with their unruly pets. Neko and I decided to retire in 2018 after an outstanding career in law enforcement and quickly embarked on the adventure of managing a pet training business. We strive to provide families all over Tennessee and the Southeast US with a clear communication system and ultimately keep misunderstood dogs in good homes and out of shelters.https://ridgesidek9tn.com/https://www.mlk9.com/Email: Suzi@mlk9Phone: 239-243-1459 Please welcome Ray Allen Manufacturing as a sponsor to the podcast.
