As Pastors and leaders the most difficult task we experience everyday is an attempt to balance our admiration for the children we birthed and spiritual children. However, the natural children of a Pastor or leader is the one who makes all of the sacrifices. Yet, so many others get to take advantage of the benefits of connectivity. Be it as spiritual children or ministry followers. While I attempt everyday to communicate my love and adoration for my natural born child - I make it a priority to publicly celebrate his accomplishments at least once a year. Frank Castillo & Mitch Castillo moved to Arizona in February of 2020 from Chicago for work and the gorgeous weather! Moving cross country during covid was rough! Luckily, Frank and Mitch met Samara and her family during this time and became instant friends. Gavin and Ava's school was out, everyone in quarantine, and there wasn't anything to do. Frank and Mitch saw an opportunity to have Gavin and Ava help with their dog, Tanner. Gavin and Ava both quickly fell in love with Tanner. What Frank and Mitch did for Gavin was special. They got Gavin out of his shell by letting him take care of Tanner. Both Frank and Mitch are in the mortgage industry in operations; Mitch for nine years and Frank for 20 years. Frank and Mitch moved again into a bigger space and chased their dream of entreprenuerialship. They both leaped and opened up branches in North Scottsdale. A risk that they don't regret as it has been very fruitful for them both. While hiring employees with experience is the norm. When they opened these branches, one of the big things is that they saw an opportunity to invest training and their knowledge into people who were interested in starting in real estate or the mortgage industry. They created a program to bring in people of all backgrounds to be loan officers after educating, training, and passing the test."When somebody wants something bad enough, and you're willing to invest the time in them, they can be your best employee without the experience." If you are in the LBGTQ community and want to reach out, need support or advice, please reach out to Mitch and Frank. Such a fantastic episode with Frank and Mitch! Turning A Diagnosis Into A Movement With Emily Johnson

Emily Johnson is a mom of 2, married 13 years, owns a hot yoga studio, and a registered nurse. As if that wasn't enough, she then went on to get a degree as a family nurse practitioner - amazing! When asked how Emily does it all, she says that she has learned to ask for help and has a lot of support over the years. She says that she was never comfortable asking for help as a little girl growing up. She thought that it was a sign of weakness. She now realizes that this is not true at all. Emily's son Miles in 2020 got off the school bus, and she didn't recognize him. He had become a different child, and it was devastating for Emily. It took months to get a proper diagnosis as many of these children are misdiagnosed with a cornucopia, an alphabet soup, of ADHD, autism, anxiety, tics, and Tourettes. PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndromes) and PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections) Emily's son had multiple strep infections, and those infections caused an immune response in the body, which is normal. Still, with PANDAS, it is a misdirected response, and in the blood, antibodies are created. These antibodies create inflammation in the body and the brain.Emily created the PANS Party Project this year. You can find them on Facebook if you are a parent in need of support. Most parents can identify the exact time where their child changed overnight. It's essential not to be consumed by our grief. Acknowledge it, and purposefully use your pain.  Be sure to follow and listen to find if there is a cure for PANS & PANDAS. If you are struggling with a diagnosis of PANS or PANDAS, make sure that you find the group on Facebook or click here. Check out the Resilience Naturopathic and #ResilientMoms if you on Peloton! Ways to connect with us:Website Instagram @TheKAMProjectorg    @actionistalive    @whiskitwithflava YouTube - Whisk it with flAVA Special Thanks To:Rob Actis - For gifting The KAM Project BrandingDan Lipton - For composing KAMcastKIDS & KAMcast musicSara Mann - For KAMcastKIDS & KAMcast voiceovers Leah Bryant - Podcast Producer/Virtual Assistant Social Media Tags:@actionistalive@whiskitwithflava@thekamprojectorg@emilyjohnsonrn@michelleducie @Leah_bryant_co @elonmusk  Clubhouse:@actionistalive@emilyjohnsonrn Hashtags:#thekamproject#actionistalive#whiskitwithflava#thepanspartyproject Mentions:PANS Party ProjectElon MuskPeloton

It grew from a hobby to a business after gaining momentum during the pandemic between June 2020 and December 2020. We sold 625 gallons and made our way from the ground to shelves, Now in local stores as we participated in multiple markets and events."   I am a very spiritual person and I love self-care and giving back to the youth. I love giving back to the youth because I was that girl who didn't fit in. I dreaded school because it wasn't a good fit to help me thrive. It's like when you take a bird and put it in the ocean and tell it to swim like the other fish. Then you tell the fish to fly like a bird. When both animals are put in the right environment the fish and the bird excels tremendously. Entrepreneurship has done that for me. Tishel is a 19-year-old entrepreneur from Trinidad. She says her inspiration is her dad because he always put them in the right environment. Tishel's step into entrepreneurialism started at a young age. At 15, Tishel's dad took her to a conference with Grant Cardone to learn about marketing, personal brand, real estate, and much more. Like most 15-year-olds, she wasn't sure of the value of why she was going. But she quickly realized just how impactful that moment would be in her early years. Tishel said that her environment is what helped her get to where she is today. Tishel has gone from selling candy at her high school to being a digital investor. She does a quicker way of trading called binary options. Where within 2 minutes you could make your profit. She also does traditional trading that taps into cryptocurrency. She says that virtual trading is here to stay as it's more time-efficient. One tip that she said that parents should remember is to have their children not be paid for chores but rather have them read a book and come back and tell you what they learned. "You shouldn't get money for your time; you should get money for the value you bring.""Sometimes, it's more about how you make money than how much money you make." Connect with Tishel:InstagramOr hereWays to connect with us:Website Instagram @TheKAMProjectorg    @actionistalive    @whiskitwithflava YouTube - Whisk it with flAVA Special Thanks To:Rob Actis - For gifting The KAM Project BrandingDan Lipton - For composing KAMcastKIDS & KAMcast musicSara Mann - For KAMcastKIDS & KAMcast voiceovers Leah Bryant - Podcast Producer/Virtual Assistant Social Media Tags:@actionistalive@whiskitwithflava@thekamprojectorg@grantcardone Clubhouse:@actionistaliveHashtags:#thekamproject#actionistalive#whiskitwithflavaMentions:immasteredacademy  Grant Cardone

Regardless of you being an avid or a passive reader, in the course of your entire life till now, chances are, you pondered on the following question- how does one retain what they read? Some of you read one book every 2/3-months, some of us read one book a month, some read one book a week. Regardless of how much you read, there will always be something that you miss to capture from the book. How do we pick what we take home from every book that we read? I mean, a self-help sort of a book has 12-chapters, and all are packed with high-intensity stuff in it- what do you do then? Do you take what'd needed or discard what's not? Actually, both.

I chat with TeensGotCents creator Eva Baker about why she's so passionate about educating teens about personal finance, what inspired her to found The Teenpreneur Conference, and what she wants teens to know the most about managing their money the smart way. Long description: Unlike many teens her age, Eva Baker started to get interested in personal finance at the young age of 16. She started listening to Dave Ramsey's teachings, and got hooked. But what she soon realized is there was a ton of information out there on how to fix your financial woes, but not a ton on how to avoid them when you're a teen and just starting your own personal finance journey. That's when she got the idea to create TeensGotCents, a financial literacy blog for teens that explores money and issues relating to adolescents specifically. I sure wish her blog was around when I was in high school! I'm sure I would have figured out how to make my part-time job income go further. As she mentions in the interview, she also started her blog as her major project for school, but it eventually took off and became her full-time gig. Now in her 20s, she manages a staff of writers to keep creating valuable content for teens on the website. And if that weren't impressive enough, she also founded her own conference — The Teenpreneur Conference — that's all about promoting entrepreneurship to teens. The next conference will be taking place June 8-10, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida. Forbes, Ebony, Etsy 'The Steve Harvey Show' I love learning from Entrepreneur's. Three of my favorite themes are - Entrepreneurship, Eco-Friendly Style & Global Sustainability! According to my guest this week: " Many people have great ideas that can help the planet. It does not matter what age you are or how silly or crazy an idea, if you believe in it - GO FOT IT!!" Here is what she has to say........ I am Maya Shea Penn. I’m a 16 year old entrepreneur, philanthropist, designer, artist, animator (I make animated short films), illustrator, and writer. I am the CEO of Maya's Ideas, a company I started in 2008 when I was just 8 years old. I create handmade artisan crafted one-of-a-kind eco-friendly accessories and clothing. I also have a non-profit organization called Maya's Ideas 4 The Planet. I use 100% organic cotton, hemp, and bamboo, as well as recycled vintage materials in creating my clothing and accessories. Please check back daily as I am adding new designs. I love nature and the environment, and I use this as constant inspiration. All items are one of a kind, artisan handcrafted from the finest materials. 10-20% of the profits I make go to local and global charities and organizations I am passionate about. ----- I am an environmentalist first, which for me means that I am doing everything that I can to make the planet livable for BOTH people and animals alike. No person or creature can live on a planet that is polluted and full of toxins and waste. I support recycling and reusing materials that will not put an additional strain on our environment by stripping the earth of it's natural resources. I do not use new leather or new wool in my designs. If I come across a piece of 1940's vintage wool fabric, I may use it and turn it into a new creation, but I would never buy a piece of new wool that has been cruelly sheared off a sheep. The same with silk. I always use old, vintage fabrics or organic and natural cottons. I see our planet and our animals as one in the same. They need to be protected from harm, treated humanely and respected.~❤ I have been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post, The Steve Harvey Show, Ebony, Young Entrepreneur, Redbook, FOX 5 Atlanta, Black Enterprise, Etsy,The NRDC, The Michael Baisden Show, CBS Better Mornings Atlanta, and many other publications. I've also been honored as Teenpreneur by Black Enterprise. I love to use my creativity to give back to the community, and the environment and it's creatures. 10-20% of my profits go to local and global charities and environmental organizations. ~ MayasIdeas.com © 2015 Building Abundant Success!! 2014 All Rights Reserved Join Me on Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/BuildingAbundantSuccess
