Pantoro Ltd (ASX:PNR, OTC:PNTOF) managing director Paul Cmrlec talked with Proactive's Tylah Tully about updates from the Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia, particularly its Scotia Mine. Cmrlec highlighted that recent grade control drilling results had returned high-grade intersections, extending beyond the existing reserve position. "The big news is that there's quite a bit of development at high grades well outside of the old reserve position," he said, emphasising the project's growth potential. As the company continues its development efforts, Cmrlec noted that recent results had identified a 70-metre mine extension and more than 100 metres of new development outside the current plan. He stated that Pantoro remained on track to reach full steady-state production at Scotia by the end of the March quarter, with production expected to surpass 100,000 ounces annually when combined with other Norseman operations. Additionally, open-pit mining at Princess Royal is set to begin in early March, with significant ore production anticipated in the second half of the year. With Scotia ramping up and new developments underway, Pantoro is set for an eventful and productive year ahead. #Pantoro #GoldMining #NorsemanGold #ASXStocks #MiningNews #ScotiaMine #GoldExploration #Investing #AustraliaMining

Pantoro Ltd (ASX:PNR, OTC:PNTOF) managing director Paul Cmrlec talks with Proactive's Tylah Tully about the company's achievements in 2024 and plans for the Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia in 2025, with a particular focus on developments at the Scotia Mine. Cmrlec outlined that 2024 was pivotal for Pantoro, as the Norseman Project moved into a cash-flow positive position. “The last three quarters have generated cash,” Cmrlec said. Key milestones included the completion of open-pit mining at Scotia and the commencement of underground development and stoping, which is expected to fully ramp up next quarter. Discussing drilling results released earlier this week, Cmrlec emphasised the success of step-out extensional drilling at Scotia South. He noted wide mineralisation 70 metres below current reserves, which could increase the project's production and mine life. Additionally, ground control drilling revealed wider and higher-grade mineralisation than expected, enhancing the project's growth potential. A significant milestone this year was the signing of a Native Title agreement, described by Cmrlec as the culmination of years of negotiation. The agreement allows for sustainable mine growth while ensuring benefits for the local indigenous community. Looking to 2025, Cmrlec said Pantoro was focused on maintaining positive cash flow and advancing growth initiatives. Goals include restarting open-pit mining, ramping up underground operations and further drilling programs. The company targets increasing production from 100,000 tonnes per annum to 200,000 tonnes per annum within two years, with plans to develop two new underground mines by 2026. #ProactiveInvestors #Pantoro #ASX #OTC #NorsemanGoldProject #ScotiaMine #GoldMining #ASXPNR #WesternAustralia #DrillingResults #ResourceSector #MiningUpdates

The tag line of the Norseman Triathlon is “This Race is Not For You.” The Norseman is a full distance triathlon in Norway comprised of a freezing cold 2.4 mile swim, over 10,000 feet of climbing in 112 miles, and a marathon with a hill called “Zombie Hill.” Over 5000 people apply each year for only 250 slots. So what motivated Frankie Forzoni, as a newbie triathlete, to enter the lottery and claim her spot? Her story is incredible. She was hit by a car in 2020 and had serious injuries, began swimming in her rehab, and decided to jump into triathlon. The Norseman was her FIRST long course triathlon and not only that, she trained for this race in hot and flat Singapore. But once you hear Frankie talk in this podcast, you will realize why and how she succeeded in one the hardest triathlons in the world. This is a great race recap, from her build to equipment, to race day. Have a listen!

Proactive's Tylah Tully breaks down ‘Just the Facts' of the latest quarterly from Pantoro Ltd (ASX:PNR, OTC:PNTOF). Pantoro continues steady gold production at the Norseman Project in Western Australia, producing more than 21,000 ounces in the September quarter, marking a 3% increase on the previous quarter. The company reported earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of $32.5 million, with an all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of $2,395 per ounce. As of September 30, 2024, the company's cash and gold balance rose by $8.5 million, reaching $112.3 million. Operational highlights include the early cessation of mining at the Scotia Open Pit on September 28 and the completion of Green Lantern mining on October 11. Production at the OK Underground Mine increased to 9,661 ounces and planning has commenced for a new open pit at Princess Royal Mining Centre, expected in March 2025. At the Scotia Underground Mine, 1,076 metres of drilling was completed, revealing high-grade mineralisation. The Norseman processing plant functioned well, processing 292,718 tonnes, though disruptions caused a loss of six days, reducing output by approximately 1,000 ounces. Additionally, Pantoro secured a zero-premium collar for 2025 gold production, providing exposure to gold prices up to $4,200 per ounce. #ProactiveInvestors #Pantoro #ASX #JusttheFacts #GoldProduction #NorsemanGold #WesternAustralia #GoldMining #EBITDA #ScotiaOpenPit #MiningUpdate #GoldPrices #ProcessingPlant #GreenLantern #UndergroundMining #AISC #PrincessRoyalMining #GoldOutput #MiningOperations #ZeroPremiumCollar #ScotiaUnderground #OKUnderground #Proactive #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Proactive's Tylah Tully sits down with Pantoro Ltd (ASX:PNR, OTC:PNTOF) managing director Paul Cmrlec to discuss its September quarterly results. Pantoro produced 21,374 ounces of gold at the Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia during the September quarter, marking a 3% increase compared to the previous quarter. The company achieved an EBITDA of $32.5 million for the period. The all-in sustaining cost (AISC) for the quarter was $2,395 per ounce and Pantoro's cash and gold reserves grew by $8.5 million to reach $112.3 million by September 30. Operationally, the company completed mining activities at the Scotia Open Pit and Green Lantern with output from the OK Underground Mine rising to 9,661 ounces. The Scotia Underground Mine saw 1,076 metres of development, encountering high-grade ore while planning is underway for an open pit at Princess Royal Mining Centre. The Norseman processing plant handled 292,718 tonnes, though interruptions, including a scheduled mill reline, resulted in the loss of six days of production and a 1,000-ounce production offset. Pantoro has recently secured a zero-premium collar for its 2025 gold production, providing exposure to prices up to $4,200 per ounce and has also hedged diesel for 2025 to manage supply risks linked to Middle Eastern conflicts. #ProactiveInvestors #Pantoro #ASX #GoldProduction #NorsemanGoldProject #WesternAustralia #Mining #GoldMining #QuarterlyReport #ASX #GoldOutput #ScotiaOpenPit #OKUndergroundMine #PrincessRoyalMiningCentre #GoldPrice #EBITDA #DieselHedges #SupplyRisk #GoldMarket #MiningOperations #AISC #AustralianMining #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
Laura Zimmermann (34) announced her retirement from PRO Triathlon before Ironman World Championship in Nice! We talk about some of her career highlights, including her win at Norseman 2024 and Ironman Hamburg 2021. We also cover a few less known facts about Laura, who worked as a dentist before turning professional. Fx. why visitors would never know, they just entered a house of a PRO triathlete? Is Laura actually part Viking, genetically suited for cold conditions? Why does random people occasionally ask her to cheer up, even though she is perfectly fine?
Galileo Mining Ltd (ASX:GAL, OTC:GLMGF) managing director Brad Underwood joins Proactive's Tylah Tully to discuss the company's encouraging results from its reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Norseman Project in Western Australia. In August and September, GAL conducted 2,100 metres of drilling, targeting geophysical and geochemical anomalies. This work resulted in the discovery of palladium and platinum-bearing sulphide mineralisation in zones near the Callisto resource. Significant results include 8 metres at 0.21 g/t 3E (palladium, platinum, gold) from 128 metres (NRC505), 20 metres at 0.18 g/t 3E from 180 metres (NRC502), and 36 metres at 0.14 g/t 3E from 128 metres (NRC501). The results support two mineralisation models: Callisto-style sulphide mineralisation and mineralisation at the boundary between mafic and ultramafic rock units. According Underwood, the mineralisation is widely distributed across the project area. The company plans to conduct a 5,000-metre aircore drilling program in November, targeting the 10-kilometre strike of the Mission Sill prospect, which shares geological similarities with Callisto, to explore for palladium, platinum, and nickel. #ProactiveInvestors #ASX #GalileoMining #NorsemanProject #PalladiumExploration #PlatinumExploration #RCDrilling #Mineralisation #ExplorationDrilling #MiningIndustry #PGE #ResourceExploration #GeophysicalSurvey #ASXMining #NickelExploration #SulphideMineralisation #MiningNews #WesternAustralia #MiningUpdates #CallistoResource #ExplorationCampaign #GeochemicalTargets #AircoreDrilling
My guest today is author, endurance athlete and ex BBC breakfast presenter Louise Minchin. Louise is, of course, best known for her twenty year stint on BBC Breakfast's sofa but she has also been main news anchor on the BBC News, presented The One Show and participated in a host of reality TV shows including I'm a Celebrity get me out of here. Since leaving the sofa, she has chaired the Women's Prize for Fiction, honed her skills as an endurance athlete (she qualified for the Great Britain Age-Group Triathlon Team in 2015 for the World Triathlon Championships in Chicago, and completed the Norseman triathlon - she doesn't do things by halves!) and turned her hand to writing. Louise's latest book is a heartstopping thriller called Isolation Island, which takes ten celebrities and dumps them in a derelict monastery on a remote scottish island. Think I'm A Celebrity meets Traitors with a splash of Big Brother and you're halfway there! Louise joined me to talk about the importance of putting women of all ages centre stage and how she built a new career off the breakfast TV sofa. We also discussed how perimenopause robbed her of herself, the power of adventure, how she learnt to love her body for what it can do not how it looks and why she wants to encourage more women to take a risk in midlife. * You can buy all the books mentioned in this podcast at The Shift bookshop on Bookshop.org, including Isolation Island by Louise Minchin and the book that inspired this podcast, The Shift: how I lost and found myself after 40 - and you can too, by me. * If you enjoyed this episode and you fancy buying me a coffee, pop over to my page on buymeacoffee.com. • And if you'd like to support the work that goes into making this podcast and get a weekly newsletter plus loads more content including exclusive transcripts of the podcast, why not join The Shift community, come and have a look around at www.theshiftwithsambaker.substack.com • The Shift (on life after 40) with Sam Baker is created and hosted by Sam Baker and edited by Juliette Nicholls @ Pineapple Audio Production. Ellers dykker vi ned i triatlon verden og diskuter Vegard Harm sin prestasjon på Norseman. Noe av det beste og sjukeste vi har sett på tv-skjerm på lang tid! God lytt! Hosted on Acast. What do you think is the toughest triathlon in the world? Ironman Lanzarote, Norseman, ICON Livigno? They are all tough and have a legitimate claim, but what about this one? Enduroman, also known as Arch to Arc. The athletes attempting this will run 87 miles from London to Dover, then swim at least 21 miles from Dover to France (distance could be more depending on currents/tides), and finally bike 181 miles from Calais to Paris. There have only ever been 59 finishers! The latest to attempt this is Yorkshireman Paul Robinson. Paul is a seasoned triathlete and has been involved in the sport for over 30 years. He has completed several ultra distance events, as well as 3 Channel swims, so he has no illusions about what he is attempting. He is taking on Enduroman to raise money for charity, after being inspired by Nottingham triathlete Sam Perkins who now suffers from MND. Sam has set up his own charity Stand Against MND. This is Part 1 of a 2 part episode, and in this conversation we'll talk about: Specific logistical challenges for Enduroman How do you train for an event like this? Body fat for warmth vs weight loss for running How and what Paul eats/drinks while running, swimming and riding Mental strategies for staying focussed The impact of the great British weather To find out more about Paul please visit the following sites: Just Giving charity link - Stand Against MND This is Paul's interview with BBC Derby when he talks about the challenge BBC website article on Paul's Challenge - Derbyshire man prepares to take on the worlds hardest triathlon Paul's inspirational book - Becoming Brutal by Claire Smith - first British athlete ever to complete a continuous Double Deca Iron Distance triathlon. 48 miles of swimming, 2,240 miles of cycling and 524 miles of running in 28 days. **To get a free copy of my personal daily mobility routine, please click HERE** To contact Beth regarding Life Coaching, please visit her website at BethanyWardLifeCoaching.uk.
New territory for The Missing Chapter Podcast – the Vikings. A grizzled, hardened Norseman whose impressive resume warrants an episode in and of itself. It includes the unification of both Denmark and Norway. Reigning as king of these two Scandinavian countries in the late 10th-century, this monarch not only brought these fragmented tribes under his control, he also converted the Danes to Christianity. There… that's all there is to know then, right? Why isn't this episode of The Missing Chapter podcast a short? Because, this is only the beginning to today's story, and from here our story takes a strange and unexpected turn. One in which we'll find ourselves in the world of technology and, more specifically, electronics. No one could have predicted this partnership and no one could bring you this remarkable tale like we can… The Missing Chapter Podcast. As the holiday season reminds us of what truly matters, we are honored to feature Helen Fitzroy on The Safety Guru as she shares her moving message that will carry us through the holidays and beyond. Her husband, Steve, experienced a workplace fatality in an underground mining incident in 1991. Her story isn't just one of personal tragedy but a call to action for all of us. Tune in as Helen advocates for a safer tomorrow with her unwavering commitment to safety, dedicated to ensuring that no other family has to endure what she went through. About the Guest: Helen Fitzroy's passion for workplace safety commenced following the death of her husband, Steve, in an underground mining accident in Norseman, WA, in 1991. One of Helen's coping strategies was writing. She wrote to her husband, Steve, but also to herself and her children leading to the publishing of her first book some years later, "Just a Number." Since writing "Just a Number," Helen has been traveling extensively across Australia as well as overseas campaigning for improved safety and better support for bereaved families. Helen's commitment and passion culminated in the establishment of Miners' Promise, a not-for-profit organization established to provide emotional and practical support to members and their families following a crisis event. We had three deep dives to share today, starting with Delta Lithium's (DLI) exploration results, where we hone in on whether the metallurgy will present any problems. Next up we chat about NexGen Energy (NXG) who received provincial environmental assessment approvals, another step on the way to developing the Rook 1 uranium project. Pantoro (PNR) also made the cut by selling base & battery metals rights over their Norseman tenements for “$60m”. We had a rapid fire round touching on First Quantum, Tietto, NRW Holdings, Pilbara Minerals, Wildcat and Arizona Lithium.
