We premiere new music from Austrian artist Peletronic as he features on RFR Records for a 4 track EP featuring a remix from electro royalty DMX Krew. We host ‘Sry I‘m Dazed AF' a vintage Miami-inspired electro cut that draws on gliding chords and pounding 808 punches. We premiere new music from RFR Records, one of the leading imprints in contemporary electro-funk. With previous releases from seminal artists such as DJ Hell, Zenker Brothers, Posthuman, Jerome Hill, and more, the label has been relentlessly pushing out top-tier electro and bass. The label now welcomes Vienna native Peletronic to the fold as he features with a four-track EP of slamming electro, and he's not afraid to get down and dirty. Best known for his tender excursions in classy deep house grooves, Peletronic turns his head to the sun-soaked Miami coast for a rough-edged electro EP. Peletronic manages to intertwine the lush chords and rich synth sweeps of his house music roots into a grittier electro package. ‘Sry I'm dazed AF' is a smoked-out ode to hazy days following a jaunt on the dancefloor. Peletronic clutches onto his deep house roots as shimmering chords trickle over ferocious 808 thuds. Peletronic blurs the lines between the plush sounds of Detroit and the raunchy Miami groove to devastating effect. Das neueste Wunder auf dem englischen Wunderlabel Speedy Wunderground heißt **Heartworms** um Sängerin Jojo Orme, die gerade ihre erste EP „A Comforting Notion“ herausgebracht hat – ein in allen Schattierungen von Schwarz schillerndes Post-Punk-Wunderding. Auf dem wie immer zuverlässigen Label Bureau B ist das Debütalbum der japanischen Produzentin und DJ **Saeko Killy** erschienen. „Morphing Polaroids“ transzendiert House zu einer multistilistischen, elektronischen Nicht-nur-Tanzmusik. Der italienische Produzent **Andrea** hat sein zweites Album herausgebracht – wie alle seine Musik auf dem Münchner Label Ilian Tape der Zenker Brothers. Auf „Due In Color“ stellt Andrea die Einflüsse aus Techno und Breakbeat hinter atmosphärische Soundschichten. Skee Mask is one of dance music's greatest crossover stories of the past decade, with new albums greeted with the attention usually reserved for an Aphex Twin or a Caribou. ("Loved seeing this on r/indieheads," said one Reddit user, on the release of the 2021 LP Pool.) It's not hard to understand why: albums like Compro, he blends well-worn dance music tropes with incredible, detailed soundscapes and spine-tingling melodies. And on his 12-inches, he brings that sensibility to the dance floor, with an approach probably best described as articulate. Even on his most ambient of tracks, everything is in its right place. Along with founders the Zenker Brothers, his music outlines everything that makes Munich outfit Ilian Tape one of the best techno labels going. On the decks, it's kind of a different story. It might surprise you if you only know his albums, but Skee Mask is an incredible DJ, balancing his predilection for hip-hop and UK-informed sounds with laser-focused techno. He can adapt to all sorts of situations—there's an incredible recording of him DJing with four of the best grime and drum & bass MCs in the business—and on his RA Podcast he focuses on the techno side of things, with nearly two hours of pacey techno and creative mixing, with dips into acid, electro, garage and more. It's a party-starting mix from a genuine star, perfect for getting through the holiday doldrums or pre-gaming your NYE plans. This week, we discuss Arts Council England's distribution of culture recovery grants and analyse some of its backlash. We particularly explore  the response to Resident Advisor's successful application and receipt of £750,000 in funding before going a bit loopy for the new Simo Cell & Abdullah Miniaway project, 'Kill Me Or Negociate'. There's also reviews on the new albums from Autechre and Zenker Brothers and count down our top three EP's from the last couple of weeks.

Long before the pandemic hit we hatched plans for the return of the always awesome Zenker Brothers to our booth and the plan was to pair them up with low frequency pro and Nowadays resident, DJ Voices. Despite our closure in March due to COVID-19, that party still went ahead virtually and it's given us our next installment of Live and Direct. For our tenth episode DJ Voices has served up a slamming session surveying the full sub-by spectrum - from mutant drum and bass dynamite and hurtling, high-octane jungle to propulsive, tech-step treats and a sick assortment of psycho-sonorous delights. Tom Palash is a dj and a producer from Poznan - one of the biggest city in Poland. He started his adventure with music in 1997 as MC and a producer on a Polish hip-hop scene. Since then he was active in many musical genres. After several years of his career as MC he devoted himself to studio production and thanks to that he won a competition in one of the biggest Polish radio called “Trójka” with a trip-hop tune with vocals by Natalia Grosiak - famous vocalist in Poland. His music was released on a vinyl mixtape one of top hip-hop label in Poland - Junoumi rec. His achievements include many released in a digital form as well. In bigest Polish Electronic Music Awards - “Munoludy” organized from bigest club-related webside competition in 2015 he was placed on the 15th position in a DJ/Producer category, 2nd position in a Podcast of the year category, only after Catz’n’Dogz release – very famous worldwide duo from Poland. Events where he played (Rodhad in Nowa Jerozolima, Warsaw and Tale of Us in Stara Rzeźnia, Poznan) were placed on the 1st and 2nd position in Event category. One year later in the same competition he was on the 3rd place in Dj/Producer category. Among many places in Poland, it is worth to mention his performance during Audioriver festival – biggest Festival of Electronic music in Poland where can be hear such a top names like Jeff Mills or Dixon, where he accompanied his friend by playing electronic drums. Not long after with Jacob Seville he created a label called Sevash Records, which was releasing electronic music. Since 2016 he plays on events in Alps, French Alps among others, Risoul, Les2Alps, AlpdeHuez. These events are always a huge success which results in next invitations. In 2017 he ruled the audience of Audioriver festival – this time as a DJ. Then in September he was closing one of the most important events of the season in a club called Alphabet (Tel-Aviv, Israel). He supported artists such as Etapp Kyle, Radioslave, Bas Mooy, 999999999 live, Robert Babicz, Daniel Stefanik, Jurek Przeździecki, Mike Vamp, Tigerskin, Rodhad, Tale of Us, Vril, Baikal, Mano Le Tough, Zenker Brothers, Recondite, Woo-York, Keith Carnal, Vaal, Matt Karmil, Gaiser, Clint Stewart, Zoe Xenia, Len-Faki, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Rebekah, Burnski, JP Enfant, Marco Resmann, Ruede Hagelstein, Apparat, Regal, Boston 168, Amelie Lens, Extrawelt and many more. He was a guest in radio stations such as Frisky Radio or Proton Radio and Polish clubs: Smolna, Tama, Projekt LAB, Nowa Jerozolima, Luzztro, Prozak2.0, Sfinks700, SQ Club, 8bitów, Stara Rzeźnia, Chalet and Ritter Butzke in Berlin, Alphabet in Tel-Aviv. He co-created events under the name “Manipulation” in Projekt LAB one of techno club in Poznan. He was a resident Dj of Nowa Jerozlima (currently closed) one of best clubs in poland and co-creator of events called “Jerousalem on tour”. Now he is one of the rosters of Smolna club in Warsaw, where he plays frequently and resident of biggest club in Poland – TAMA. He prefers many types of techno music. Adam Rahman (Dubai) Adam Rahman is a DJ/Producer based out of Dubai. He has been instrumental in developing the Techno scene in India since 1999 and Middle East since 2004. Adam is the founder of WARPED one of the first Techno nights in Dubai. WARPED celebrated 10 years in 2014 and now hosts one off parties around the world for the love of Techno. His DJ sets are full of deep baselines and groovy, chuggy Techno with a flawless mixing technique. He also has a more mellow side, an after hour sound of sorts, where he plays downtempo/house/deep house. Adam's talent has enabled him to perform at prestigious events & festivals alike. Groove On The Grass (Dubai), Go Madras (India), the Beirut Music Conference, Griessmuelhe Club (Berlin), Sage Club (Berlin) , Dada Bar (Shanghai), The Shelter (Shanghai) and many other venues in Middle East and India. He was also recently featured on Resident Advisor’s Wild City series, making it the first mix from India on the RA page. His releases so far have been on BSR (Bootleg Social Records, UK), Techfui (NL), Since 16 (IND) and most recently on KitchenSync Records (Dubai), which he runs with 2 other friends. Also a certified Sound Engineer, Adam used to handle A&R/Logistics for OHM Events (Dubai) and was also responsible for bringing key players of the Techno scene to Dubai. He now works closely with the "Groove On The Grass" team and executes 5 major events with them over the season. Having performed alongside Techno heavyweights Sven Vath, Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Zenker Brothers, DVS1, DJ Q, Felix Krocher, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, Carl Craig, Anja Schneider, Marco Carola... to name a few, there is no doubt that Adam has made his mark on the Techno scene. Zenker Brothers are Marco and Dario Zenker, techno DJs and producers who also run the celebrated Ilian Tape label. As prolific artists, both solo and together, their profile has been rising steadily for almost ten years, with releases on their own imprint, Tresor and Frozen Border.
