Introduction:In this heartfelt and candid episode, Naiomi takes a departure from the usual format to share some reflections and wisdom gained from her journey of motherhood. With her eldest son on the brink of graduating high school and heading off to college, Naiomi delves into the lessons she wishes she had known as a new mom.Episode 32. The Basics Matter Most:Naiomi emphasizes that amid the myriad of parenting advice, the fundamental needs of a baby are simple yet crucial. Love, security, and nurture take precedence over the latest gadgets or meticulously planned schedules. She urges new parents to focus on the essentials, reassuring them that if these are in place, they're already fulfilling 95% of what their baby needs.Embrace the Marathon:Reflecting on her early days of motherhood, Naiomi shares a valuable piece of advice: parenting is a marathon, not a sprint. She acknowledges the pressures she placed on herself, especially regarding breastfeeding, and recommends seeking external guidance if parenting decisions are causing undue stress.Choose Joy Over Perfection:Naiomi shares a poignant moment when she realized the importance of doing things for the joy they bring, rather than expecting gratitude from her children in the future. She urges parents to question whether their actions will bring them joy and fulfillment, as children may not always express gratitude immediately. Conclusion:Naiomi advises against making decisions out of fear, emphasizing that parenting decisions based on fear rarely lead to positive outcomes. She leaves listeners with a gentle reminder to cherish the moments with their little ones and to find comfort in the fact that love, safety, and nurture are the foundations that truly matter. Are you curious… if your little one is ready for solids?

From zero to #babyboss & #dudela in less than four months. Eliza and Jeremy were not planning on having kids initially... but they got the surprise of a lifetime when they found out that they were pregnant. Eliza didn't want to believe it at first because she had an IUD. The ultrasound, however, confirmed that she was indeed pregnant and was already 5 months along. Now, with a little time to prepare (4 months to be exact), Eliza and Jeremy had to rush to get things done- prenatal classes, selecting a birth provider, nutrition, lactation consultation, and all other important matters which a newly pregnant parent usually prepares early on during her pregnancy. Eliza's partner, Jeremy took a proactive role in preparing for the arrival of their newborn and earned the esteemed title of "dudela!"This episode will benefit not just new parents but also birth professionals who wish to support parents throughout their journey. www.MilkDiva.com In this episode, we talk about pacifier use. Both born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Jane Molina and Joy Williams spent the first 4 years of their post-collegiate career working for their father's Contracting company. They honed in on their real passion during this time, helping moms and babies. Jane birthed an idea that became the NinniCo pacifier in 2014, and developed the technology that became a product for e-retail in 2021.Together, they invented and patented a pacifier that mimics the shape, feel and oral mechanics a baby experiences while breastfeeding. By identifying a hole in the baby products industry and working to fill it, our pacifier is taking the market by storm. In 9 months of sales, NinniCo. has sold over 25,000 pacifiers to women all over the world, and the business continues to scale every month.Anticipating 7 figure revenues by the end of Year 1, also securing International distribution deals and penetrating retail outlets in 2022, Williams and Molina hope to help aid as many mothers and babies along their breastfeeding journeys as possible.Websitewww.ninnico.com Use Code MILKDIVA for discountSocial Linkswww.facebook.com/ninnipacifierwww.instagram.com/ninnipacifierwww.tiktok.com/ninnipacifierwww.pinterest.com/ninnipacifier------If you are a Doula or Birth Professional supporting newborn feeding grab your FREE swipe file and save tons of time while offering expert feeding tips to your clients.-->https://www.milkdiva.com/newbornfeeding https://view.flodesk.com/pages/60c21438a1394150b078136a
