It's well known that good communication is the foundation of any successful relationship, whether personal or professional. It's important to recognize, though, that it's our nonverbal communication—our facial expressions, gestures, eye contact, posture, and tone of voice—that speak the loudest. The ability to understand and use nonverbal communication, or body language, is a powerful tool that can help you connect with others, express what you really mean, and build better relationships. Leading is all about influence. How you present yourself in a leadership role affects your ability to successfully leverage authority and motivate others. Do you inspire people to follow your lead? Today's Guest is Joe Yazbeck who is an internationally known Master Speaker and Trainer among his many other accomplishlishments. Mr. Yazbeck is a New York Times Best Selling Author and the author of the extraordinary book No Fear Speaking.
Royal Guest Experts Amanda Littlefield and Marilyn Braun The House of Windsor has a new addition! On May 2, 2015, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge was born at 8:34 a.m. London time. With the given name Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, the Princess entered into this world with as much pageantry and fanfare as one would expect for a royal. Following the birth of Princess Charlotte, many landmarks were lit pink including Tower Bridge, London Eye, and the Trafalgar Square. One thing is certain, the British love their monarchy! Of note, Princess Charlotte is scheduled to be christened on July 5, 2015 at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury. Coincidentally, this is the same church in which Princess Diana was baptized. On this episode, I have two royal experts as my guests to discuss everything from Princess Charlotte's lineage to her upbringing. If you are a fan of the British royals, you won't want to miss the episode. And even, if you're not, listen anyway to become one!

She is the first American certified to practice and teach Classical Chinese Feng Shui, and she is the first American designated as a Feng Shui Master through the Feng Shui Research Center founded by Master Joseph Yu. She came to the feng shui profession from a successful 20+ year career as a management consultant, personal and business productivity coach. "My years as a consultant taught me to appreciate the impact our environments exert on our happiness, health, productivity and relationships," she recalls. "I searched for a teacher who was grounded in this rich Chinese system. I was especially attracted to Toronto-based Master Yu because of his background is mathematics and physics," she recalls. "He is a scientist who set out to disprove Feng Shui and, in the process, became so convinced of its validity and power that he is recognized today as one of its most respected proponents." Master Yu is one of the top Classical Feng Shui Masters. For years Judy searched for a Qi Gong master to assist her in having a deeper experience of the energies she works with in Feng Shui. Instead in 2004 she met Dr. Barry A. Morguelan who is one of fewer than 10 who have successfully completed the training to help people connect to the underlying root energy and to teach others how to stay connected and use that connection successfully. Through the ongoing learning and employment of these practices under the expert supervision of Dr. Morguelan, she has been able to surpass the general expectations of her clients and students in the efficacy of the Feng Shui services she provides and teaches. This episode's guest is Tom Dowd who is an expert in the area of public speaking. Tom is an active member in Toastmasters International, a group of 300,000 members worldwide looking to develop communication and leadership skills. Tom joined in 2008 thinking it was just a way to boost his résumé. It became a wonderful downhill spiral of failure. Whether it was a speech contest or a publisher's rejection, Toastmasters pushed him beyond his comfort zone to find self-awareness, belief that he could make a difference and the motivation to take smarter steps toward success both personally and professionally. What Tom found was a boost in confidence that changed the path of his life and career. In 2010-2011, he was awarded the District 45 Outstanding Toastmaster of the Year representing over 100 clubs in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and the three eastern most provinces of Canada. Now exhibiting consistent speech contest success, Tom is the two-time Table Topics District 45 champion for 2012 and 2013. Additionally, he is a member of the National Speakers Association and the Global Speakers Federation. Tom Dowd, AKA Transformation Tom™, is a loving father of three beautiful daughters and a devoted husband from a small town in Maine. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Communication degree, concentrating on interpersonal and organizational communication. Tom is a prize-winning speaker, an award-winning and Amazon best-selling author, trainer, coach, and radio host—all spurred by his need to be more than a painfully shy and introverted individual on a rollercoaster ride of success. New Zealand's John Martin has always lived life on the edge. At age 13, he biked around New Zealand's East Cape. At age 16, he made his first parachute jump. At age 18, he purchased his first aircraft and learned to fly. At age 21, he made New Zealand's first base jump and at 24 years old he obtained his commercial pilot's licence. At age 26, he received burns to 70% of his body, face and hands when his crop dusting aircraft crashed and burned. He spent the next three months in intensive care in an induced coma, and underwent numerous medical procedures including skin grafting, debriding and reconstructive surgery. Within a year he returned to flying. He entered a partnership and purchased a branch of the company he previously worked for, providing the flying service to Motiti Island. A year later he set up his own Tandem Skydiving business which he still runs today. In quieter times John spends time cruising around the Coromandel Coast on his yacht where he continues to explore his new found passion for writing. His first book, a short story called “Out of the Ashes” was used by several schools as a study aid and saw John listed with Celebrity Speakers NZ as a motivational speaker. John's story “Just Shut Up and Jump” is not of one of self pity but a testament as to what a positive approach and never say die attitude can achieve. John Martin's website: www.johnmartin.co.nz

Mallory Hytes Hagan was crowned Miss America on January 12, 2013. She represented the State of New York during the 2013 Miss America pageant where she won both the swimsuit and evening gown portions of the competition. For her talent, she performed a tap number to James Brown's "Get Up Offa That Thing". In addition to the $50,000 college scholarship as part of the Miss America award package, Mallory joined an elite sorority of women to hold the title of Miss America dating back to 1921. Mallory's platform, Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, is predicated on abuse suffered by members on her own family and is, therefore, very close to her heart. Within 24 hours of her reign as Miss America, she was in communication with U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan promoting awareness of child sexual abuse. Mallory's major initiative as Miss America was to become a spokesperson for the Chidren's Miracle Network where she travelled approximately 20,000 miles per month in its support. Mallory's future plans consist of becoming a global marketing director for a comestics company after earning her degree in cometics and fragrance marketing. The Electoral College today bears only a superficial resemblance to the ingenious system the Framers of the Constitution created. Their system was designed to identify the best possible presidential candidates and place only statesmen in the executive office. This book is an in-depth analysis of the purpose and benefits of the original Electoral College System—a system which has been hidden (or rather ignored) for over two centuries. The original design is then contrasted to the current party-controlled system we use today. Discover, in a concise text, essential principles required to restore the Republic and American constitutional federalism. Those who want to restore the principles of freedom, as established by the Framers in the original Constitution, will find this book indispensable. The Authors: Freedom Coaches, Gary and Carolyn Alder proclaim the principles of freedom in their classes, lectures and writings. Gary spent his professional career as a computer programmer/system analyst. He takes a unique approach in analyzing the Constitution. His conclusions come from considering the original Constitution as the system specifications and determining how a government that followed those specifications would function. Carolyn loves to share specific quotes of the Founders as their words provide a window to look into their hearts and minds. Website: http://www.freedomformula.us/
