Ivan Krasko sa vlastným menom volal Ján Botto – presne ako ten Ján Botto, čo napísal Stojí, stojí mohyla, na mohyle zlá chvíľa. Krasko bol jeho vzdialeným príbuzným a keďže sa poézii rozhodol venovať tiež, dáva zmysel, že si radšej zvolil pseudonym. Okrem poézie sa však venoval aj mnohým ďalším činnostiam: bol prekladateľom, regionálnym historikom, politikom, vedcom a inžinierom. Narodil sa v roku 1876 v Lukovištiach do roľníckej rodiny. Základné vzdelanie získal na maďarskom gymnáziu v Rimavskej Sobote. Neskôr študoval aj v Rumunsku a Nemecku a nakoniec ukončil odbor chemické inžinierstvo v Prahe. Neďaleko Prahy si neskôr aj našiel zamestnanie v cukrovare. Keď prišla prvá svetová vojna, narukoval na východný front, veľa času však strávil vo vojenskej nemocnici kvôli pľúcam. Po vojne sa začal angažovať vo verejnom živote ako politik: bol členom Národného zhromaždenia ČSR a neskôr aj senátorom. V roku 1946 mu udelili titul národného umelca a dnes si predstavíme jeho  básnickú zbierku Nox et Solitudo. This week's guest grew up always interested in theater and film, especially interested in the business aspect of the industry. Little did he know he would later in his life found the largest online platform/marketplace that provides networking and training opportunities for entertainment creatives worldwide.
