Pesnik Brane Senegačnik je podkovan v teoriji poezije in njeni praksi, vešč tudi tradicionalnih oblik, zlasti soneta, a verzi njegovih mističnih pejsažev tečejo mirno valujoče kot omamno prelivajoče se skladbe: zvenijo pritajeno in se oglašajo tiho, le včasih imajo ritem karminaste trobente, barvo bledo vijoličnega jezika grozdov glicinij, hipnotično lahkotnost zlatih brez v snežni noči, kakor morska pena razlivajočih se občutkov in melodijo hlepečih sledov plohe po asfaltu, sledov tolikih življenj. Ko bolečina kot zvok božjih črk stopi s papirja v prostor pesnikove tišine, si ga v žadasti svetlobi za vselej prilasti. »Tako preprosto je to. Tako resnično.« Mistični pejsaži so nastajali v prav določenih trenutkih pesnikovega občutja, kar razkriva vsaka pesem posebej. Čeprav so pesnikovi asketsko zabeleženi zapisi nastajali v daljšem časovnem razponu, kar kažejo tudi občasne medijske objave, imajo vse v tej pesniški zbirki enak naslov Mistični pejsaži, dodana jim je le številka. Skoraj tisoč se jih je nabralo v pesnikovem predalu, za objavo v pričakovano minimalistično oblikovani knjigi – kot si jo je zamislil Lucijan Bratuš – je izbranih le sto dvajset, zadnja ima številko 981. Čeprav je bila urednica knjige Miljana Cunta, jih je verjetno izbral pesnik sam, zavedajoč se, da se pravi trenutki odvijajo v notranjem spominu, ne glede na sosledje resničnih dogodkov, ki premočrtno odtekajo v za vedno izgubljeno minulost. Za objavo vsake pesmi v knjigi čas in prostor nista bila pomembna. V spremnem besedilu Neizrekljiva svetloba Senegačnikovega jutra Milček Komelj začenja svoj dolgi poetični zapis z mislijo, da so ti mistični pejsaži resnično z mistiko prepojene pesniške krajinske slike. S svojo razlago nas kot umetnostni zgodovinar in pesnik pospremi v nežno zamišljene in poetično krhke, ritmično uglašene proste verze. Klasični filolog, prevajalec, raziskovalec grške tragedije in literarni teoretik Brane Senegačnik je v bistvu najbolj pesnik. Pesnik po duši, v zadnjih petintridesetih letih eden redkih, ki je poleg modernističnega toka zavesti v prostem verzu vstopal tudi v svet tradicionalnih pesniških oblik. Od leta 1991 do danes je izšlo devet njegovih pesniških zbirk, dve sta bili nagrajeni. Za zbirko Pogovori z nikomer (Slovenska matica, 2019) je leta 2021 prejel nagrado Prešernovega sklada, za zbirko Prosojnosti (Celjska Mohorjeva družba, 2024) pa lani Jenkovo nagrado, najvišje priznanje za poezijo Društva slovenskih pisateljev. Med sodobnimi slovenskimi pesniki je Senegačnik samohodec, lirik, v občutenju življenja prisegajoč na hipno občutje lastne biti, prisluškujoč svoji najgloblji notranjosti. Nihče v lastni poeziji ni prvi izumil odsotnosti, tišine in minljivosti, tudi Senegačnik ne, čeprav ostaja neovrgljivo dejstvo, da razmišljanje in upesnjevanje lastnih spoznanj nesporno vsakomur omogoča, da bolje razume sebe. S svojo lirsko, v vsaki zbirki bolj minimalistično izreko želi avtor s potopitvijo v globine bivanjskih izkušenj doseči popolnost. Kot vsak pravi pesnik. Življenje, ki edino stoji nasproti minevanju, postane v njegovi liriki samosvoje središče. Osredotočanje na čisto poetično postane tisto 'sem' v njegovi najgloblji notranjosti. Jezik kot izvor absolutnega, ki je v lirskem subjektu pred pisanjem, pa postane pesniška materija, ki jo mora do bistva globoko občutiti, da lahko oblikuje svoje lirične sledi. Osnovno poslanstvo Senegačnikove poezije je skozi potapljanje v tišino nenehno seganje k neizrekljivemu, včasih manj, drugič bolj odkrito. Vsak njegov verz je drobec, ki upa, da ne bo izginil v nič, a ko so skozi njegov pogled vsi tu in v določenem trenutku plameníjo nedolžnost sveta, bralca vendarle vabijo k lastni, neobremenjeni interpretaciji. V resnici gre predvsem za intimno in nežno serenado bitnosti, neločljivo povezano s svojo odsotnostjo in minljivostjo. Téma narave, ki jo Senegačnik s svetlobnimi odtenki občutij postavlja v središče različno dolgih pesmi v prejšnji zbirki Prosojnosti, je nenavadno občutljiva, krhka. Njegovi verzi v tej zbirki – enkrat abstraktni, drugič bolj figuralno določljivi – so sestavljeni z nenehnim preigravanjem z oblikami in subtilnim prehajanjem prostih verzov. Dihov besed. Pesnik je nasproti večnemu gibanju, valovanju in minljivosti bivanja postavil milino odsevov, ki presevajo njegove izpesnjene (pris)podobe. Vsaka pesem zbirke je ločen ambientalni kader, ki ga v objemu brezčasnosti hkrati navdajata izrazito čustven naboj in melanholija. Tudi v zbirki Mistični pejsaži je narava sprehajališče Senegačnikovih verzov. Samo brezgrajno občutje in odprto notranje oko zmoreta uzreti skrito življenje v čarobni paleti letnih časov in ga narediti vidnega za svet, žejen lepote. Vpliv filozofije na Senegačnikovo pesniško ustvarjanje je in je bil pomemben vse od začetka, kajti ne le brati, filozofija uči tudi razmišljati in pisati. V njegovi do kraja zreducirani minimalistični izreki bralcu ponuja slutnjo skrivnosti, iz katere smo prišli in v katero se vračamo. »Življenje je čudež, smrt modrost,« je v knjigi Štirje obrazi duše leta 2000 zapisal slikar in mislec Maksim Sedej ml., ki je vse življenje iskal modrost vsega bivajočega. Bil je prepričan, da sodobni svet ni naklonjen iskanju resnice, da beseda tehnika zabriše besedo znanost, da seksualnost zabriše besedo ljubezen. Današnji problem ni več iskanje ali najdenje, temveč sinteza najvišjega duhovnega in znanstvenega spoznanja človeštva. Zdi se, da Senegačnik v zbirki Mistični pejsaži v tem kontekstu božje umešča v neznane daljave, v nekakšno nebeško večnost in neskončnost: »Trave ti segajo do brade, / jutro preko misli // to pomeni / dotikati se zvezd s temenom / z vsemi usti svojega molčanja / peti hozána«. Božjo besedo, ki se bere vsak dan pri sveti maši kot brevir in misal. Namesto časa je nad občutljivim pesnikom nebo. Misel je v današnjem svetu navzoča in poimenovana na mnogo načinov, ima mnogo besed, izrazov, imen. Ta njena navzočnost je ključno, esencialno vprašanje. Šele z zavedanjem te navzočnosti, ko sprejme božje kot svoje bistvo, se Senegačnik kot lirski subjekt osvobaja. Šele takrat lahko popolnoma osvobodi tudi svojo misel in se zave svoje vloge v tem svetu, kajti eno je gotovo: to, kar pride na koncu, nima ne glasu ne konca. Senegačnikova poezija s svojo intimno izrazno močjo je korak k sebi in hkrati v neizogiben onkraj sebe: »Dolga smrt // v zreli julijski svetlobi, / v gosti senci akacijevih vej / tik ob neki vodi. // Nevidna kot misli. / Neizbežna / in negotova / kot je to, da si.«

Ime tedna je postala Ajda Zavrtanik Drglin, vodja projekta Od rokopisa do besede, s katerim so v Narodni in univerzitetni knjižnici s pomočjo prostovoljcev in orodij umetne inteligence sistematično pregledali rokopise pesnika Srečka Kosovela. Pregledana zapuščina je zdaj v obliki tekstovnih prepisov v celoti objavljena na spletni strani Digitalne knjižnice Slovenije in na voljo javnosti. Kandidata sta bila tudi: Brane Čuk, dolgoletni jamar in tajnik Kluba jamarjev Kostanjevica na Krki, ki se jim je po več kot šestdesetih letih iskanja uspelo prebiti do podzemnega toka reke Studene. Ob tem so odkrili obsežen jamski sistem s kapniki in dvoranami, visokimi več deset metrov, ki po dosedanjih ocenah velja za verjetno največji podzemni jamski sistem na Dolenjskem.  Žiga Šeško, teniški igralec, ki je z zmago v finalu mladinskega turnirja Odprtega prvenstva Avstralije osvojil naslov v posamični konkurenci in Sloveniji priboril prvo moško zmago na mladinskih turnirjih za grand slam. V finale Melbourna se je uvrstil brez izgubljenega niza, z osvojenim turnirjem pa je naredil izjemen korak v svoji športni karieri in se vpisal med najpomembnejše dosežke slovenskega mladinskega tenisa.

This week we have a wonderful opportunity to spend some time with Tom and Suja Brane of Impact Africa. We've been supporting their work for the Lord in West Africa for many years. This Sunday we're going to hear how the Lord is working there as well as from some of our members who've recently spent time with them in Africa. This will be a great time to learn about their ministry and find out ways we can better support them.

Na zadnji platnici knjige Svet je drugačen je navedeno kratko pohvalno besedilo akademika Matjaža Kmecla, besede občudovanja in ugotovitev, da je pisanje Mateje Gaber zanimiv memoarski esej. Tako živahnega in samozavestnega kozmopolitizma pri nas zelo manjka. Kmecla so navdušili živahnost, smisel za humorno stran življenja, svetovljanstvo, eruditstvo in še marsikaj. Pisateljica se najprej spominja let, ki jih je preživela v Kuvajtu. Videti je, kot da jo bo pot vodila še v druge, prav tako eksotične dežele, a ni tako. V nadaljevanju obiskuje evropska mesta, nič manj vabljiva pa niso niti slovenska – Škofja Loka, Radovljica in Ljubljana. Pravzaprav je vseeno, kam se Mateja Gaber odpravi, povsod je ona sama – radoživa in živahna ženska, ljubiteljica lepih umetnosti in veseljakinja, ki življenje zajema z veliko žlico in se zna sproščeno smejati, pogosto tudi na svoj račun. Kamor koli gre, povsod je ob njej ali v njenih mislih njen Brane, soprog, po poklicu pediater in zagnan igralec golfa. Če smo že pri golfu, ki je za oba precejšnja strast in izziv, je treba omeniti, da je Brane za poročno potovanje predlagal obisk Škotske, kjer bi si ogledala gradove in si pridobila vednost o bogati kulturni dediščini. Tako mimogrede, malce brezbrižno, je omenil, da bi lahko vzela s seboj palice za golf. Gradov je bilo kar veliko, ogledala pa sta si le enega, saj se igranju golfa nista mogla upreti. Mateja Gaber je otroštvo preživela v Prekmurju, v Ljubljani pa se je izšolala vse do doktorata s področja literarnih ved. Na Filozofski fakulteti na več oddelkih opravlja delo predavateljice in lektorice nemškega jezika. Začelo pa se je tako, da je po študiju najprej učila na Gimnaziji Bežigrad. Ker ljubi življenje in se rada zabava, si ni mogla kaj, da se za pusta ne bi našemila. In kaj je postala tistega dne? Sama Ester Williams, plavalka in filmska igralka, ki je moški svet vznemirjala s svojo očarljivostjo in plavalno veščino. Na Gimnazijo je prikorakala v enodelnih kopalkah, obuta v sandale, na glavo si je poveznila plavalno kapo z obodom iz rož, na oči pa mačja očala v slogu petdesetih let. V cekarju je imela radio na baterije in kopalno brisačo. Mahnila jo je naravnost v ravnateljevo pisarno in se zleknila na njegovo mizo kot na sončno plažo. Vehementno sem odprla vrata njegove pisarne, vključila glasbo Glenna Millerja In the Mood, s prefinjenimi gibi sinhrone plavalke odplavala do direktorjeve mize, nanjo poveznila kopalno brisačo in se ulegla na mizo, kot da se sončim. Mogoče bi kdo rekel, da se igram s službo, ampak meni se je vse skupaj zdelo čisto normalno, saj je bil vendar pustni torek, ko je čas za norčije. Biti profesor pač ne izključuje norčavosti. »Gabrova, super si, ampak pejt iz pisarne,« je odločno in s prikritim smehom »ukazal« direktor in mi tako odprl pot do drugih razredov, kamor me je pot zanesla z glasbo in brisačo vred, toda vedno z elegantnimi gibi Esther Williams. Ravnatelj je bil razumevajoči Janez Šušteršič, po besedah Mateje Gaber najboljši direktor katere koli gimnazije na svetu. Takrat je v dijaškem svetu zaslovela kot profesorica, ki hodi naokrog v kopalkah. Poleg iskrivega humorja knjiga Svet je drugačen prinaša še veliko novega. Pisateljica se spretno izraža v več jezikih, najbolj prepričljivo in s posebnim navdušenjem slovenščino dopolnjuje z nemščino, saj se z njo ukvarja tudi poklicno. Dodaja informacije o književnosti, likovni umetnosti in glasbi. Dosežkom človeške ustvarjalnosti se predaja z užitkom. Kar zadeva medčloveške odnose, je dobronamerna in prijazna. V knjigi ni enega samega pritoževanja, ni kritike, tarnanja in sprenevedanja. Mateja Gaber izraža spoštovanje do človeka in njegovega dostojanstva, ceni pripadnost in narodno zavednost, na visoko mesto postavlja ljubezen in družino. Njen humor nikoli ne zdrkne navzdol, le redko je obešenjaški. Vse okoli sebe vidi v svetlih barvah in obsijano s sončno svetlobo. Ni pa samo resna znanstvenica, temveč je tudi ljubiteljica mode in vsakršnih zabav, tudi domačih. Ko se je kot univerzitetna predavateljica prenehala šemiti v službenih prostorih, je sproščeno veseljaštvo prenesla v domače stanovanje. Zdaj so se po njem sprehajale hollywoodske zvezde, zdaj osebki iz verskega sveta. Ko se je oblekla v boginjo lova Diano, si je domišljala, da je nadvse imenitna, mož Brane pa je imel kar nekaj pomislekov in je njeno podobo z visokimi črnimi škornji primerjal z žensko, za katero ne bi bilo mogoče reči, da je prišla iz samostana, ampak je nekakšna uživaška nabiralka moških. Zaradi nočnega hrupa med zabavami so sosedje klicali policijo, a se ni zgodilo nič usodnega. Policisti so vljudno zavrnili ponujene čevapčiče. Tudi sicer so bila vrata doma Mateje Gaber široko odprta. Družina je bila gostoljubna in je pod svojo streho sprejemala umetnike in druge ljudi, ki so potrebovali prenočišče. Neka ruska trenerka se je nekoliko preveč navdušila nad Branetom. Ocvrta jajca, ki ji jih je pripravil, so bila zanjo vrhunec kulinarične umetnosti, čeprav jo je vzorna hišna gospodinja dlje časa razvajala s slastnimi jedmi in vožnjami na treninge. Zaradi slabe angleščine je imenitnega kuharja Braneta imela za piškot. Mati Mateje Gaber pa se je na potovanju na Nizozemsko uprla amsterdamski prodajalki ljubezni, ki si je meni nič, tebi nič poželela njenega moža in družinskega očeta. Nikakor ji ga ni hotela izročiti v ljubezenski postopek za primerno plačilo. Po knjigi se sprehajajo tudi znane osebnosti iz javnega življenja in različnih dejavnosti. Avtorica v Španiji ni izkoristila priložnosti, da bi se srečala z Luko Dončićem, Marta Verginella in Igor Pribac sta ji prinašala primorske dobrote, Dragan Živadinov in Janez Vrečko sta jo na študentski ekskurziji poučila o konstruktivizmu. V Kuvajtu so delovali znani slovenski zdravniki: Mile Kersnič, Andrej Aleš, Janez Bajc in David Neubauer, Brane Gaber pa je tam opravljal delo supervizorja oziroma glavnega svetovalca arabskim zdravnikom za intenzivno terapijo otrok. Piše Tonja Jelen, bereta Eva Longyka Marušić in Igor Velše. Pesniška zbirka Braneta Senegačnika Prosojnosti se ob drobno nanizanih motivih spušča v globine razmislekov in spoznanj. Pesmi so v svoji izreki še bolj prefinjene kot doslej, ob tem pa so življenjske in otipljive. V zadnji kitici pesmi Prisotnost se subjekt tako vrne v središče razmišljanje in ustvarjanja. »Izčiščen do odsotnosti / se vračaš / kakor smisel / k besedam in stvarem.« Zbirko Prosojnosti sestavlja deset razdelkov. Pesnik se v njih tematsko navezuje na jezik, drevje oziroma rastlinstvo nasploh, predvsem pa na občutje in premišljevanje. Usmerjen je v drugost, ki je večinoma slovo in minljivost, vendar tega dvojega ne obžaluje. Pesmi lahko beremo tudi kot utrinke med molitvami. Med pesniške liste je vstavljen pavspapir, ki poudarja pomen in vtis prosojnosti. Omogoča premor, dih in vmesnost. Uspešen umetniški vtis daje naslovnica z detajlom slike Ivana Groharja Štemarski vrt. Ujema se s sprehodom po zbirki in je v diametralnosti z belino listov in pesniških podob. Filigransko odmerjeni verzi tako delujejo kot prosojnost misli, občutij in vpogledov skozi celotno poezijo. Minljivost je neizogibna, a jo Senegačnik omili, pri čemer pa ne gre za vdajo ali stremljenje k večnemu življenju. Za vedno je nebo, ne človek, piše: »V protoplazmo zgneteno nebo. / Ki diha v večerno meglo / brez konca.« Senegačnikove Prosojnosti se neposredno soočajo z minljivostjo življenja bližnjih, z minevanjem dneva in zavedanjem človekove smrti. Ta slovesa so tiha in spokojna, skorajda preveč sprijaznjena glede na zapisano. Poezijo o tematiki smrti stapljajo življenjski reki, nauki in misli. Pesnik ob tem ne išče izgubljenih, zamujenih trenutkov, vse je proces, začetek in konec. Senegačnikove podobe se razlivajo in prefinjeno zamrznejo v času, kot da je to poanta uzrtja v danem trenutku. Kajti sprejeti je treba danost in ji zreti v oči, dokler lahko. Kljub bolečini pesnik ne posega z ostrino, temveč s prav posebno mehkobo. Kot da pesmi izražajo streznitev o koncu, ki v osnovi pomeni samo prehod in nov sij. V nenaslovljeni pesmi iz cikla Reže lahko dobimo odgovor na marsikatero življenjsko vprašanje: »Kakšna ljubezen / je uročila / naše oči, / da strmijo, / do smrti strmijo / v ta zastor iz minule svetlobe?« Minevanje je druga stran in druga stran je bivanje. Nič skrivnostnega ni v tem. Senegačnikova prejšnja zbirka Pogovori z nikomer je dajala vtis o večnosti, na primer glasbe, v zbirki Prosojnosti pa smo v živem primežu razmisleka o zdaj in tukaj, ki ga ne bo več ali ga že ni. Pesmi so trenutki molka, sprehoda po naravi in njeni lepoti, sosledja bližine in izgube. Vmes pa sine čas, ki ga je avtor strnil v zrenja in dotike. V tej poeziji je veliko življenjske lepote, ki pa zna biti nedoumljiva: »Še dneve in tedne / v glinenih lončkih gnezdi otroštvo, / kot brezimni sij resničnejših svetov, / zaupno, zanesljivo znamenje / nerazrešljivega pomena.« Včasih je treba ujeti tudi tisto, kar je nedoumljivo.

Januarja letos je umrla ugledna nemška pesnica, pisateljica, prevajalka, literarna kritičarka in esejistka ter Büchnerjeva nagrajenka – Elke Erb. V slovenščini imamo njeno knjigo pesmi Bezeg v taktu oblakov, ki jih je prevedel Brane Čop. Elke Erb se je rodila leta 1938 v Scherbachu v Severnem Porenju - Vestfaliji. Leta 1974 se je kot prevajalka iz ruščine predstavila s prevodom Marine Cvetajeve, v njenem prevajalskem opusu pa najdemo še Aleksandra Puškina, Aleksandra Bloka, Sergeja Jesenina, Borisa Pasternaka, Ano Ahmatovo in Olgo Martinovo. Svojo prvo pesniško zbirko Izvedensko mnenje je objavila leta 1975, leto pozneje ji je sledila zbirka Nekdo vpije: nikar!, leta 1978 je izšlo Omejeno potrpljenje, leta 1982 pa Tolažba. Za knjigo Kostanjev drevored je leta 1998 prejela nagrado Petra Huchla, prejela pa je še več drugih nagrad. Pred natanko desetimi leti je bila Elke Erb gostja festivala Dnevi poezije in vina; takrat se je z njo pogovarjala Urška P. Černe in zvočni zapis tudi prevedla. Brali sta Alenka Resman Langus in Barbara Zupan, oddajo sta posnela Mirta Berlan in Marko Krebs.

Idemo na najmanje moguće skale dužine/energije i na jednu od najapstraktnijih fizičkih teorija, ili, tačnije rečeno, skup fizičkih teorija -- pričamo o teorijama struna! Gost je dr Mihailo Čubrović sa Instituta za fiziku Beograd. Počinjemo od priče o objedinjavanju moderne fizike i potragom za teorijom svega, o problemima fizike hadrona, bootstrap programu i prvom pojavljivanju teorije struna i njenom brzom padu, a onda se detaljnije bavimo objašnjavanjem šta su strune, šta tačno znači kada kažemo da koristimo strune umesto čestica, govorimo o renormalizaciji, o perturbativnom karakteru teorije struna, o različitim teorijama struna koje su se pojavile u poslednjih 60ak godina. Pričamo i o dualnosti, o holografiji, o tome kakvu ulogu u drugoj superstrunskoj revoluciji imaju AdS/CFT korespondencija i mreža dualnosti na kojima počiva savremena teorija struna, M-teorija, a nakon toga govorimo i o nekoliko, verovali ili ne, eksperimentalnih primena teorije struna. Pričamo o holografiji i kvark-gluonskoj plazmi, pričamo o čudnim metalima i visokotemperaturnoj superprovodnosti, a malo se dotičemo i Hokingovog zračenja i problema informacije crnih rupa i toga kakvu ulogu strune igraju u ovom problemu. Support the show

Kdo se boji Virginie Woolf?, igra ameriškega dramatika Edwarda Albeeja iz leta 1962, prav gotovo ena najslovitejših in najpogosteje uprizarjanih dram 20. stoletja, ponovno osvaja gledališka odra. V koprodukciji Mini teatra iz Ljubljane in Ptujskega mestnega gledališča, se je režije lotil hrvaški režiser Ivica Buljan. Igra se po vseh teh letih ni postarala, ravno nasprotno, pravi režiser Buljan, saj vsaka nova uprizoritev navdušuje gledalce po celem svetu. Tudi predstave v Mini teatru so že nekaj tednov razprodane. V igri se srečata dva zakonska para Nataša Barbara Graćner in Brane Šturbej ter mnogo mlajši par Benjamin Krnetić in Klara Kuk.
