Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. TK is betting on ‘no' for Rickard Rakell to get traded. He doesn't think you can strip the team down and said you have to keep some guys happy. Tyler described the feeling of going to the rink on a bad team around trade deadline time. TK told stories about the 2009 deadline when the Penguins acquired Chris Kunitz and Bill Guerin to the eventual Stanley Cup championship team. He said that team was such a great mix of everything a team needs. TK said the presence of leadership from the '09 deadline put that team over the top. Who else could be traded from the Penguins by the deadline on Friday? TK thinks Erik Karlsson on the move is 50/50.

WRs are all over the place in the NFL with multiple guys being cut or requesting a trade today. What should the Steelers be willing to do to acquire DK Metcalf? What about other names like Christian Kirk? The Steelers seem to have their options. Maxx Crosby has signed a big deal in Vegas. Does that mean a new deal is coming for TJ Watt? What should be the price the Steelers pay this time around? Could it be around $36M/year? The guys looked at some of the highest-paid players in the league. Would the price for DK Metcalf in a trade be as much as we are thinking? Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. TK is betting on ‘no' for Rickard Rakell to get traded. We envision what the Pirates lineup could be and if Cruz should bat leadoff. Pitt basketball has to win tonight, and the remainder of the season, if they want to get into the NCAA Tournament. 15 years ago, today, the Penguins traded for Chris Kunitz. Locked On Penguins - Daily Podcast On The Pittsburgh Penguins

The Penguins winning streak is gone but there were still positives to take out of this game (despite a meme happening in overtime). Pittsburgh salvaged a point even when things looked dire and even had multiple chances to win in that period. Hunter breaks it all down, including how Jason Zucker and Kasperi Kapanen had their best games of the season. Tristan Jarry also looks locked in as he's had 3 great games in a row and is in no rush to give the net back. Hunter also touches on Brad Marchand's "tripping" call and why it should've been 4-on-4 before getting to Evgeni Malkin going full Chris Kunitz on a 2-on-0. Wait til you hear about our NFL ring ceremony concept...Jonah is back in from his Fresh year of college and contributes in a big way. Maria can best be described as mildly bemused and tolerant as the guys propose the following:1) What would you do if you had the Stanley Cup for a day?2) A total reimagining of the NFL Super Bowl ring ceremony. What if NFL Super Bowl rings were turned over every year like the Stanley Cup? 50 yard line, previous winners line up across from new winners and (Benny Hill theme starts playing) each player has to find another one to wear his ring.Would there be Red Carpet event fan overlap for the Super Bowl if there was a week long leadup with players discussing the rings, their potential outfits for the ceremony and who their potential targets might be?If this sounds to you like it might be a terrible idea, maybe you need to ask yourself this question: “If Elvis Grbac, 1994 Michigan Wolverines starting QB, thinks its a great idea...is it possible that maybe I’m the one missing the point?”*If you are an NFL athlete or know an NFL athlete, please explain to us why or how you think this will be successful and who to contact to make it work.*To date, Elvis Grbac is definitely unaware of this idea and may or may not think it’s a good idea. Please visit us at https://thetragedyacademy.com On social media, you can find us at @thetragedyacademypodcast on Instagram, The Tragedy Academy Podcast on Facebook, and @tragedy_academy on Twitter.  Don't forget to subscribe, download, rate, and review! (39:50) Superbowl ring exchange proposal.(38:05) Stanley Cup lightning rod hat viral video. #nfl #football #sports #nba #nfldraft #nflnews #superbowl #nflfootball #life #mlb #espn #nflmemes #americanfootball #madden #touchdown #afc #nfc #comedian #laugh #rogan #bertkreischer #pattonoswalt #offensive #chrisrock #chappelle #equality #collegefootball #fantasy #roto #fantasyfootball #redcarpet #fashion #comedy #funny #hilarious #ridiculous #timanderic #joke #standup #lol #nfl #football #sports #nhl #stanleycup

We then take a weird turn towards the NFC South as Crowley exclaims out of nowhere that he believes the Saints will be much worse this year. Totally random. We get back into the Pirates and their pursuit of a top prospect for Vazquez before it's the Hottest take of the day, other crap, and the three stars of the show.

Matt and Steve are talking about this week in sports updates, including: The Riverhounds tied Indy Eleven nil-nil and won 2-1 over Eire Commodores. The Tampa Bay Rowdies come to Highmark Stadium. With the win in the US Open Cup the Hounds get a home Cup game facing the winner of Cincy FC of the (USL) or Detroit City FC of the (NPSL). In PGA Tour news, Web Simpson hits a -18 total and wins the 5th Major of The Players even shooting 1 over in the final round. Tiger made a hell of a run in Day 3 and again in Day 4, but had early tee times both days. Tiger Woods finished T11 but was as high as second. We saw some super groups the first two-day pairings of Mickelson, Tiger, and Fowler, and the other of Spieth, Rory, and Justin Thomas. It's the Bryon Nelson Classic at Trinity Forest in Dallas. The next Big Tournament that's not a major is at Jack's Place in Muirfield Village Golf Club in Columbus. PITT softball lost the ACC Championship Game against FSU in dramatic fashion. The NHL Playoffs continue with the Caps up 2-1 over Tampa Bay in the series. The Vegas And Winnipeg series is 2-1 Vegas. Both have been very entertaining to watch. On an intersting side note, Chris Kunitz could win his 5th cup and be the 50th Person with 5 Cups. Mark Scheifele leads the playoffs with 14 goals (11 of them on the road). As for NBA updates, Golden State is up 1-0 over the Rockets, and Boston is up 2-0 over the Cavs. The Cavs got manhandled and headed back to Cleveland. The Pitt/PSU game is scheduled for September 8th at 8PM. It will be the last time the two will play in Hienz Field for the foreseeable future. There is still one game at Happy Valley. The Pirates took 2 of 3 from the Giants, ruining Cutch's homecoming. They came back, taking two from the White Sox. The Bullpen is still suspect. The offense has hit a stride, but they have been playing struggling teams. Do you think that ownership will go out and get some pieces at the trade deadline or after the all-star break if the Pirates are in a good position? The boys are currently on pace to win 96 games, and are tied for first in the division, the second best record in the NL, 5th best in all of baseball, and 3rd best home record in the MLB. The Pirates are behind the Yanks and Phills. The Padres are in town this weekend and are 10 games under .500 as the Bucs are 8 games over. Jay-Hay is working out and playing in Altoona with the Curve on Rehab. Taillon jokes about peeing on his finger to help it heal quicker. Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast

Injuries may have decimated Ottawa, and the guys begin by seeing how it may impact the able bodied players who can still take the ice. They also tip their cap to a couple d-men who've swapped an IR spot in Pittsburgh, and consider whether Claude Julien can bring a staggering Habs roster back to life. Then, a hotly anticipated rookie who couldn't impress at this season's outset is back for another kick at the can in Columbus, while teammates around him alternately slump and awaken. Outjuries double as snoozers, as the merits of activating or jettisoning a returning centreman in Dallas and a blueliner in Anaheim are debated, with a healthy but quiet-til-now Panthers defenseman thrown in for good measure. Meanwhile, the debate over whether a certain Ducks forward can maintain a 55+ point pace appears all but settled, and new lines in Anaheim lead to a depth chart search for fantasy value outside of the usual suspects.  In hot streaks, Brian thinks Elan's feeling confident about one Canuck too many. The segment also features a couple Coyotes forwards and defensemen are helpful for as long as they remain in the desert, an entire line reigniting a pretty great even-strength run in Detroit, an assist-happy Blue who Brian prefers as a goal-scorer, a 60+ point scorer starting to maybe look like one again, a doghouse escapee in Boston, Brent freaking Burns, and Elan pining over vintage Zetterberg. Goalies get some time in the spotlight, including thoughts on why the Blues goalies are suddenly keeping the red lamp from being lit, a Philadelphia goalie whose only hot in the category of 'games started', an apparently reliable Western Conference goalie who could be spelling his starter more often, an emerging title change in Florida, and a struggling Isles tender with rough waters ahead. Also, what the heck should you do with a couple struggling Jets as they enter their bye weeks? And which Jet forward should you pick up when they hit the ice again? Players discussed on this episode include Mark Stone, Kris Letang, Bo Horvat, Henrik Zetterberg, Alex Galchenyuk, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Jaden Schwartz, Martin Hanzal, Zach Werenski, Michal Neuvirth, Oscar Klefbom, Jordan Eberle, Thomas Greiss, Aaron Dell, Nikolaj Ehlers, Ryan Spooner, Petr Mrazek, Mike Hoffman, Bobby Ryan, Brad Marchand, Max Pacioretty, Ryan Dzingel, Zack Smith, Curtis Lazar, Erik Karlsson, Craig Anderson, Mike Condon, Justin Schultz, Chris Kunitz, Jake Guentzel, Carl Hagelin, Shea Weber, Jeff Petry, Brendan Gallagher, Carey Price, Brandon Saad, Brandon Dubinsky, Jason Spezza, Patrick Sharp, Sami Vatanen, Radek Faksa, Ryan Getzlaf, Ryan Kesler, Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid, Brent Burns, Rikard Rakell, Aaron Ekblad, Nick Ritchie, Ondrej Kase, Alex Edler, Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin, Troy Stecher, Radim Vrbata, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Michael Stone, Alex Goligoski, Tomas Tatar, Anthony Mantha, Jake Allen, Carter Hutton, Steve Mason, Leon Draisaitl, Andrej Sekera, Mark Letestu, Mark Scheifele, Patrick Laine, Mathieu Perreault and more. * * *   Download this episode, subscribe, and review us on iTunes!   If you enjoy the show, please support future episodes by becoming a patron of Keeping Karlsson.    Keeping Karlsson patrons can join our patron-only Facebook group and take part in (and receive audio from) a monthly live, face-to-face and interactive Keeping Karlsson recording!   You can also support us by telling a friend, subscribing to and reviewing Keeping Karlsson on iTunes, and following us on Twitter (@keepingkarlsson). Welcome to the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast's sesquicentennial episode! The free agent frenzy has slowed to a trickle, but we are bursting with takes on how player production around the league will be affected. Of course, our analysis goes beyond just the player that has moved-- we go up and down depth charts to scope out roster-wide effects, including the blue lines, top sixes, creases and power-play units in New York, Washington, New Jersey, Dallas, Buffalo, Florida, Detroit, Los Angeles and Toronto, to name a few. The last couple weeks have also seen plenty of address changes for goaltenders, which means a handful of new tandems and new opportunities for goalies to push and be pushed for playing teams. Elan and Brian name the 'tenders who are better off for their move, others who should be looking over the shoulder, and still others who could be platooning from the get-go-- particularly in Winnipeg and Philadelphia. Remember, we've got our summer patronage special on from now til September: become a $1 patron of the show, and you'll get the full slate of $5 patron perks, including access to the famous patrons-only Facebook group! It's another make or break week, and so we make another episode that breaks all the latest fantasy hockey news on the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast! In Outjuries, Elan and Brian delve into the fantasy impact of a return of a top line forward in Buffalo and the suspension of a key blueline cog, as well as temper immediate expectations from a high end Sen, consider upside versus steadiness on the Jets back end, speculate on how two healthy goalies will be rotated in both New Yorks, and lavish 2/3 of Tampa's top line with praise. Recent call-ups also get coverage here, as the guys fiure out what can be expected from two of the newest NHLers in Vancouver and Arizona. In Injuries, the Crosby line is hurting badly and looking for replacements, the Leafs may regret letting go of a crease replacement, the Bruins may have to turn to a career backup to carry them down the stretch, we neither endorse nor disapprove of potential moves for a Panthers forward, we get sad about the Stars, and dear god the St Louis depth chart is thin. In Hot Streaks, we look for value in the 5-game weeks coming for Nashville and Carolina, give a lukewarm kudos to a young New Jersey centreman, and set the record straight on our feelings about Leon Draisaitl. In Cold Streaks, there are a lot of guys that you'd never consider dropping earlier this year, but with just a week or two left, is there even a point to hanging onto them? This segment pays visits to slumpers in Columbus, Montreal, Buffalo, Colorado, Anaheim, Minnesota and Philadelphia. And all those goalies who blew it this week? We try to figure out if they'll do it to you all over again if given the chance. The episode once again ends with tributes to the fantasy teams we've lost along the way. Players discussed on this episode include Kyle Okposo, Jack Eichel, Jaroslav Halak, Thomas Greiss, Brayden Point, Nikita Kucherov, Dmitry Kulikov, Mark Stone, Carey Price, Richard Panik, Erik Karlsson, Kris Russell, Jacob Trouba, Dustin Byfuglien, Josh Morrissey, Evander Kane, Ryan O'Reilly, Mathieu Perreault, Bryan Little, Dan Girardi, Henrik Lundqvist, Antti Raanta, Vladislav Namestnikov, Martin Jones, Corey Crawford, Thomas Greiss, JF Berube, Andrew Ladd, Brock Boeser, Clayton Keller, Bryan Rust, Chris Kunitz, Connor Sheary, Frederik Andersen, Curtis McElhinney, Jhonas Enroth, Anton Khudobin, Tuukka Rask, Paul Stastny, Jaden Schwartz, Alex Steen, Jaromir Jagr, Jonathan Marchessault, Patrick Sharp, Adam Cracknell, Ales Hemsky, Aaron Dell, Sebastian Aho, Elias Lindholm, Philip Di Giuseppe, Teuvo Teravainen, Eddie Lack, Craig Smith, Colin Wilson, Ryan Ellis, Calle Jarnkrok, Pavel Zacha, Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid, Patrick Maroon, Eric Staal, Nick Foligno, Gabriel Landeskog, Cam Fowler, Sami Vatanen, Ryan Kesler, Corey Perry, Ryan Suter, Jakub Voracek and more. Like a new baby being born into the world, Elan and Brian are pushing out a brand new episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast! This week's show begins by sizing up most impactful and relevant players who've flown the coop since the trade deadline, and the players they may have displaced. This includes a visit to Washington and St. Louis's even strength and powerplay blueline setups, the blue paint situations for the Lightning and Kings, the top nine in Minnesota and Boston, defensive depth in Pittsburgh, and a couple floaters in Ottawa. The guys then shed light on those who've come out bruised and/or battered, including Florida's sort-of-but-not-so-much-anymore #1 goalie, a Devil we know, a Sabre that had just gotten rolling, and a Star that never really had a chance. We also pontificate on the healthy return of an Isle blueliner. Some players are hot this week! They include a lower-key sophomore and a once again promising forward in Buffalo, a couple Taylor Hall linemates, a Habs goalie who may also just be considered as being back to normal, a Flames goalie who we wonder whether this might be his normal, and a Calgary d-man who we wish it still could be his normal. Some players are cold this week. They include a top six Penguin who otherwise looks fantastic, a sobering season by a Coyotes defenseman that has cut back on taking shots, a Canes blueliner still taking shots but not getting anywhere, a New York top six/niner who has lost his early season sheen, and a couple of Avs forwards whose performances personify the mess in Colorado.Players discussed on this episode include Jonathan Quick, Ben Bishop, Peter Budaj, Andrei Vasilevskiy, Martin Hanzal, Kevin Shattenkirk, John Carlson, Matt Niskanen, Alex Pietrangelo, Colton Parayko, Alex Steen, Mark Streit, Connor Sheary, Chris Kunitz, Sidney Crosby, Patric Hornqvist, Valtteri Filppula, Steve Mason, Drew Stafford, Michal Neuvirth, Ryan Spooner, Frank Vatrano, Alex Burrows, Viktor Stalberg, Roberto Luongo, James Reimer, Thomas Vanek, Kyle Okposo, Evander Kane, Ryan O'Reilly, Jack Eichel, Michael Cammalleri, Travis Zajac, Kyle Palmieri, Taylor Hall, Antoine Roussel, Jason Spezza, Jiri Hudler, Ales Hemsky, Travis Hamonic, Josh Ho-Sang, Nate Prosser, Nick Leddy, Johnny Boychuk, Carey Price, Alex Radulov, Brian Elliott, Michael Ferland, Mark Giordano, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Mike Smith, Louis Domingue, Justin Faulk, Jacob Slavvin, Brett Pesce, Noah Hanifin, Matt Duchene, Gabriel Landeskog, Nathan MacKinnon, Mika Zibanejad and more. As on any given Sunday, go ahead and pop in your air buds-- it's time for little fantasy giants Elan and Brian to help you remember the titans (and not-so-titans) of this week's NHL action in a brand new episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast!  In this week's injuries, it's a real case of you don't know what you've got til it's gone with a shelved even-strength stud in Pittsburgh, a still underappreciated centreman in Dallas, and a Lightning forward whose absences from the scoresheet are now further assured. In outjuries, the guys go back to the future in trying to imagine what 2/3 of the Panthers' first line can offer on offesne, and what that also means for former and remaining members of that top trio. They also head to the desert to wonder how excited it's reasonable to get about they Coyotes' likely top scorer, and then move slightly westward for a Kings forward who finally has returned to the lineup. This episode's hot streaks feature your Cane(s) of the Week, a powerless Senators centreman finding his way at even strength, a meh Shark becoming more whoa, Cody Franson???, a re-established Nashville #1, and a challenger for #1 on the Columbus blueline. Cold streaks end the show, with looks at an ever-alarming press box presence in Philadelphia, an unsprung foward in Minnesota, and a flickering Flame. Players discussed on this episode include Jonathan Huberdeau, Max Domi, Seth Jones, Chris Kunitz, Justin Schultz, Jason Zucker, J.T. Miller, Mark Giordano, Shane Gostisbehere, Mark Streit, Kris Letang, Conor Sheary, Jason Spezza, Patrick Eaves, Cody Eakin, Radek Faksa, Jiri Hudler, Devin Shore, Bryan Rust, Nick Bonino, Ondrej Palat, Tyler Johnson, Vladislav Namestnikov, Alex Killorn, Alex Barkov, Jack Eichel, Jonathan Marchessault, Jeff Carter, Tyler Toffoli, Peter Budaj, Jonathan Quick, Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin, Max Pacioretty, Alex Steen, Paul Stastny, Robby Fabbri, David Perron, Jake Allen, Sebastian Aho, Elias Lindholm, Jordan Staal, Jeff Skinner, Derick Brassard, Pekka Rinne, Juuse Saros, Zach Werenski, Sergei Bobrovsky, Cody Franson, Patrick Marleau, Sam Reinhart, Robin Lehner, Michal Neuvirth, Charlie Coyle, Ryan Suter, Dougie Hamilton, TJ Brodie, Mikael Backlund, Pavel Buchnevich, David Backes, Ryan Miller, Jacob Markstrom and more. Welcome to the quasiquincentennial edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast! Injuries open this week's episode, as Elan and Brian get into who's out of the lineup, and who's moving up the depth chart as a result. We take a look at the top six in Pittsburgh, a nail in the coffin in Carolina, an unheralded shooting wizard moving on up in Nashville, a de-railed PP1 coup in Washington, and open doors to creases in the Pacific and Atlantic. There's also movement in the F corps in Toronto, Philadelphia and New York. Outjuries follow, with the guys taking stock of several players returning to lineups already in progress. A pair of Kings enter an ace lineup, a top six forward in New Jersey that Brian urged you to pick up last week does heavenly things for himself and others, a Sabre tries to sharpen his team's shooting, and depth Panthers and Blue Jackets may only be drops in larger buckets. Who's hot this week? We'll tell you! Specifically, there is a Duck who is actually scoring more goals than maybe he should, a couple Blues feeling downright jazzy, and a couple Canucks desperately trying to make the most of their situations. Who's snoozing this week? We'll tell you that, too! Hover over the drop button for blueliners in Columbus, Boston and Minnesota, a couple goalies in the Metropolitan, and a forward in Philly. Players featured on this episode include Jake Guentzel, Calvin Pickard, Semyon Varlamov, Petr Mrazek, Cam Ward, Viktor Arvidsson, James Neal, William Nylander, Leo Komarov, Nikita Soshnikov, Nazem Kadri, Mitch Marner, John Carlson, Chris Kunitz, Jesper Fast, Chris Kreider, Travis Konecny, Wayne Simmonds, Anze Kopitar, Marian Gaborik, Jeff Carter, Tyler Toffoli, Peter Budaj, Carey Price, Tuukka Rask, Devan Dubnyk, Michael Cammalleri, Ryan O'Reilly, Evander Kane, Nick Bjugstad, Seth Jones, Zach Werenski, Oscar Klefbom, David Perron, Jaden Schwartz, Rickard Rakell, Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, Brandon Carlo, Jaroslav Halak, JF Berube, Ryan Kesler, Jakob Silfverberg, Jonathan Bernier, Loui Eriksson, Bo Horvat, Keith Kinkaid, Cory Schneider, Matt Dumba, Matt Murray, Marc-Andre Fleury and more. This episode was sponsored in part by SeatGeek. Erik Karlsson's engaged, and we hope you are, too, throughout this entire brand new episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast! This episode kicks off with a list of injuries to star players that might just be the kick in the pants their healthy teammates need to finally get going. We pore over the depth charts in Tampa Bay, New Jersey, Calgary and Washington to figure out who might be ready to pick up the slack, with a particular nod to a Devil you know from last season. Elan and Brian then go the other way to outjuries, considering whether the heretofore top line right winger in Dallas might finally get bumped, marveling at an entire top line that is criminally underowned, wondering whether a returning Red Wing offers any hope on a points-poor roster, and more. Finally, the guys run down current hot streaks around the NHL, including the other point man in Montreal, the other winger in Vancouver, the other rookie in Toronto, the other McDavid linemate in Edmonton, the other Anisimov linemate in Chicago, and the other other guys in Winnipeg. And somewhere along the way, they fight about Cam Ward and Jimmy Howard, while remaining reasonably calm on Mike Smith and Connor Hellebuyck. Players featured on this episode include Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Drouin, Taylor Hall, Damon Severson, Michael Cammalleri, Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, Sam Bennett, Chad Johnson, Brian Elliott, Andrei Vasilevskiy, Ben Bishop, Mark Giordano, Dougie Hamilton, TJ Oshie, Justin Williams, John Carlson, Andre Burakovsky, Bobby Ryan, Pavel Buchnevitch, Tomas Hertl, JT Miller, Mika Zibanejad, Jimmy Vesey, Chris Kunitz, Patric Hornqvist, Kevin Labanc, Patrick Marleau, Joe Thornton, Logan Couture, Patrick Sharp, Patrick Eaves, Jason Spezza, Antoine Roussel, Martin Hanzal, Radim Vrbata, Max Domi, Matt Niskanen, Mike Smith, Louis Domingue, Thomas Vanek, Henrik Zetterberg, Dylan Larkin, Jimmy Howard, Ondrej Palat, Tyler Johnson, Petr Mrazek, Cam Ward, Andrei Markov, Victor Rask, Teuvo Teravainen, Brandon Sutter, Troy Stecher, James van Riemsdyk, Mitch Marner, Tyler Bozak, Morgan Rielly, Marian Hossa, Artem Anisimov, Jesse Puljujarvi, Milan Lucic, Patrick Maroon, Jordan Eberle, Marko Dano, Nic Petan, Connor Hellebuyck, and more. This episode was sponsored in part by DRAFT! It's a super fun and simple daily fantasy app where you build your team through a snake draft with your opponent, and then compete through the night's or week's games. Oh, dear-- it's happened again. Evgeny Malkin's latest bust-up has left the Pittsburgh Penguins and your fantasy team in dire straits. But have no fear! Elan and Brian have all the tips and analysis you'll need to recover on this week's episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast. Malkin is far from the only player injured this week, as we're watching depth charts shaken up around the league as the injury ninja continues his relentless late season assault. Islanders, Canadiens, Panthers, Stars, Ducks, Avalanche and Wings are all making adjustments accordingly, and we've got the scoop on who's playing with who, and in what role. On the flipside of that coin, so many Outjuries® this week, too! This episode has our usual look and how players in Edmonton, New York, Columbus, Arizona, Chicago, Florida, Carolina and Calgary are re-entering the lineup, and whether they'll get to reclaim their usual spots or be forced to lie in wait until an opportunity presents itself. This edition winds down with a list of players who are wound up! We cover a whole slate of lesser-owned players who are hot and ready to contribute to your fantasy team, including a Long Island blue-liner, a feisty Maple Leaf, an under-the-radar young Sabre, a rookie Blue, and an I-didn't-even-know-he-was-a Devil. Last week's episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast was all about catching up on two weeks' worth of action, and this week we're all about getting you ahead of the curve with all of the latest fantasy hockey news, info and analysis. This 89th edition of the show kicks off with a deep dive into what the Johansen-Jones trade means for both the players who swapped teams, and the rest of the guys who will be shuffled and shifted around the Columbus and Nashville rosters as a result. In our Outjuries, we look at a 60 point-plus LA King not named Kopitar or Toffoli, a phenom-in-the-making re-entering the Bruins lineup, a recovered goalie who actually stayed that way long enough to make a start this time around, and a fiery Coyote who's getting more help than usual from his teammates. We also look at the impact of injuries to top line fixtures in New Jersey, Calgary and St Louis, and suggest you quickly grab a goalie who could get some games in on a very good team depending on the severity of his teammate's injury. Our Players of Note this week include a couple goalies about whom you can comfortably stop tweeting us questions, a great spot starter in an Eastern Conference crease, and a couple top line producers out West. Finally, the show closes out with a whack of Snoozers, including a couple perennial favourites who have failed to deliver by the midway point, and an apparent false start from a former 30 goal scorer.Players discussed on this episode include Ryan Johansen, Seth Jones, Alexander Wennberg, Mattias Ekholm, Connor Hellebuyck, Louis Domingue, David Pastrnak, Martin Hanzal, Shane Doan, James Reimer, Jonathan Bernier, Jiri Hudler, Joe Colborne, Mike Cammalleri, James Neal, Mike Ribeiro, Ryan Ellis, Adam Henrique, Brian Elliott, Colton Parayko, Lee Stempniak, Kyle Palmieri, Tobias Rieder, Sean Monahan, Johnny Gaudreau, Jeff Carter, Tanner Pearson, Robin Lehner, Nail Yakupov, Teddy Purcell, Jay Bouwmeester, Jake Allen, Paul Stastny, Linus Ullmark, Chad Johnson, Patrick Sharp, Alex Goligoski, Andrew Ladd, Jason Pominville, Jeff Skinner, Brandon Dubinsky, Tomas Hertl, Al Montoya, Chris Kunitz, Sidney Crosby, Patric Hornqvist, and more.* * *Download this episode, subscribe, and review us on iTunes! We look at an unusually high volume in changes to top lines across the NHL, including those in Columbus, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Vancouver, Chicago, Long Island, Dallas and Florida, as well as the newest opportunities available to some hungry up-and-comers that might just be ready to start producing. We also compare the production of the players on two of the hottest lines in the league-- these guys are not only putting up points, but they're doing it while wearing NHL crests long associated with scoring scarcity and boring hockey (though that reputation may be proving harder to shake for one particular locale).Players discussed on this episode include Nick Bjugstad, Brent Seabrook, Adam Henrique, Pascal Dupuis, James Neal, Lee Stempniak, Trevor van Riemsdyk, Dmitri Jaskin, Jori Lehtera, Mattias Janmark, Mike Cammalleri, Erik Karlsson, Colton Parayko, Duncan Keith, Alex Barkov, Jaromir Jagr, Jaden Schwartz, Mike Green, Brendan Smith, Niklas Kronwall, Evander Kane, Matt Moulson, Johan Larsson, Teemu Pulkkinen, Paul Stastny, David Backes, Scotty Upshall, Jonathan Huberdeau, Michael Neuvirth, Steve Mason, Jaroslav Halak, Thomas Greiss, Chris Kunitz, David Perron, Ryan Johansen, Brandon Dubinsky, Radim Vrbata, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Ryan Strome, Kyle Okposo, Matthew Nieto, Joel Ward, Viktor Tikhonov, Antti Raanta, Mike Fisher, Mike Ribeiro, James Neal, Trevor Daley, Andrei Markov, Alex Semin, Jeff Skinner, Patrick Sharp, Max Domi, Tobias Rieder, Anthony Duclair, Sergei Bobrovsky, Craig Anderson and more.Be sure to check out Hockey PDOcast on the web, on iTunes, on soundcloud, and on Patreon! And we highly recommend you follow Dimitri on Twitter @DimFilipovic.* * *Download this episode, subscribe, and review us on iTunes!
