In a world spinning faster every day, where headlines constantly blur the lines between fact and fiction, finding your footing takes courage. Welcome back to the Character-Driven Life and Leadership Podcast with Coach Dane and Kurt! Are you feeling overwhelmed by the constant cycles of global health alarms and media narratives? In this powerful episode, Dane and Kurt cut through the noise surrounding the "new" Hantavirus headlines, reminding us that we do not need to buy into the panic. Together, they explore how fear is often used as a weapon to distract and control, and they share insights on navigating AI biases, digital surveillance, and predictive programming in the media. But above all, this episode is a profound message of hope and victory! Dane and Kurt remind us that we do not have to succumb to the anxieties of this world. Just as Jesus asked the man with the withered hand to simply stretch it out in faith, and just as the Roman centurion recognized Christ as the ultimate Commander-in-Chief of heaven's armies, we too are called to anchor our trust in a higher power. We are on a mission to search for truth in a world full of lies. The more light we shed on these falsehoods, the more we can break free, prosper, and live without fear. Tune in to discover how to keep your family grounded, replace panic with spiritual discernment, and rest in the glorious promise that no matter what comes against us, Christ is the ultimate victor. Keep your lamps lit, stretch out your hand in faith, and let's shape the kind of leadership that endures. Let's dive in—Love, live, lead, and Trike On!
02:10 Was macht My Spirulina? 02:43 Wie ist es zu dieser Idee gekommen? 05:15 Was ist das Besondere an Spirulina? 07:03 StartUp Journey 11:37 Höhle der Löwen 13:51 Neues Level an Aufregung? 14:52 Was war das Überraschendste hinter den Kulissen? 16:47 Wie laufen die weiteren Verhandlungen ab? 21:14 Welchen Impact hatte der Auftritt auf die Verkäufe? 23:53 Learnings 26:56 Tipps Weitere Infos: https://my-spirulina.de/ Music: freemusicarchive.org/music/Checkie_…_Dilemma_ID_03 License: creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/deed.de
Episode 056: The Mind Nexus, RF-Controlled Nanobots & Viral-Assembled Nano-Electronics Welcome back to another mind-bending episode of the podcast! In Episode 056, hosts Dane and Kurt take you on a deep dive into the astonishing convergence of biotechnology, nanotechnology, and the future of human integration. If you thought microscopic robots were just science fiction, prepare to have your mind blown. First, we unpack the concept of the "Mind Nexus" and the shocking reality of modern nanobots. We discuss the unbelievable scale of this technology—specifically, how a single syringe tip can hold up to a staggering 1,000 billion nanobots. Measuring just 50 nanometers long, these robots are about 2,000 times thinner than a single strand of human hair and can actually be controlled using RF (Radio Frequency) emissions. Next, Dane and Kurt break down a highly futuristic patent (US7393699B2) for NANO-electronics that bridges the gap between organic biology and electronic manufacturing. We explore how scientists are genetically engineering viruses to act as "biotemplates" that self-assemble complex nanoscale electronic devices. We explain the exact mechanics of how these engineered viruses are immersed in solutions to organically build transistors—assembling the gate, source, channel, and drain using nanomaterials like carbon nanotubes. Finally, we discuss the profound medical and transhumanist applications of this bio-assembled technology. Because these electronic circuits are built using biological templates, such as viruses, they can be embedded in the human body without triggering rejection. Join us as we explore how these self-assembling viral nanodevices could be used to build closed-loop insulin production systems to treat diabetes, or even function as advanced cardiac pacemakers directly inside the host. Key Takeaways in this Episode: The Scale of Nanobots: How 1,000 billion RF-controlled robots can fit into a single syringe. Viral Manufacturing: How genetically modified viruses are being used to "grow" and self-assemble computer components and carbon nanotubes. Medical Marvels: The future of integrating human-compatible bio-electronics, such as pacemakers and insulin regulators, directly into the human body. Veronica Woodruff is a Canadian author, public speaker, and award-winning professional whose career spans leadership, environmental science, and civic engagement. In 2025, she published her debut book, Blind Drunk: A Sober Look at Our Boozy Culture, a powerful exploration of alcohol's pervasive influence on North American society—framed through both scientific insight and personal experience.Woodruff's journey to authorship began with a deeply personal essay published in Pique Newsmagazine in early 2023, where she candidly shared her lifelong struggle with binge drinking and her path to sobriety. The story struck a chord, drawing hundreds of messages from readers across the country—many of whom credited her vulnerability with inspiring their own reevaluation of alcohol.Raised in a home marked by both privilege and instability, Woodruff experienced the collapse of her family's wealth due to her father's alcoholism. She entered the foster care system at 15, working minimum-wage jobs while building resilience and independence. Despite early adversity, she pursued higher education, ultimately earning a Master of Arts in Leadership and a background in environmental science. Over the next three decades, she established herself as a respected thought leader, publishing scientific research, leading public engagement initiatives, and working with governments, consultancies, and non-profits.Her transition into authorship was guided by mentorship and a pivotal moment at the Whistler Writers Festival, where she realized her personal narrative could serve as a broader social critique. Blind Drunk was born not only as a memoir, but as a cultural analysis—interrogating how alcohol is woven into everything from après-ski rituals and book clubs to corporate conferences and family dinners.A certified speaker with the International Association for Public Participation, Woodruff brings both evidence-based insight and lived experience to her work. She unpacks the myths surrounding "moderate drinking," critiques outdated public health messaging, and opens an honest conversation about how society normalizes dependency on alcohol. While Blind Drunk is not intended to be self-help, it does offer readers a mirror and a map: reflecting our collective relationship with alcohol, while exploring what it means to live consciously in a culture that often drinks blindly.

Podcast Title: High-Protein Snacks and Meals for Better PerformanceHost: Kolby Krystofik, Owner of Oxnard|MVMNTIn this episode of the MVMNT4LIFE podcast, Kolby dives into the importance of protein intake for anyone looking to optimize their fitness, whether it's building muscle, losing fat, or improving performance in the gym. After recapping a week full of pickleball, CrossFit, and a night run, Kolby shares insights into how to boost protein intake with simple meals, snacks, and “hacks” designed to keep you moving and performing at your best. Why Focus on Protein?Kolby emphasizes that when it comes to achieving results—whether it's muscle gain or fat loss—one of the biggest factors is often diet, specifically the lack of protein. Many people aren't eating enough protein to support their training or fitness goals. Rather than focusing on what to remove from your diet, Kolby suggests adding more protein as a way to crowd out less beneficial foods.Protein Snack Ideas (Less Than 30g Protein Per Serving):Kolby kicks things off with a list of easy-to-prepare protein snacks with less than 30 grams of protein per serving. These are great for anyone needing an extra boost throughout the day. Here are a few examples:Scrambled Eggs with Spinach and Turkey: A breakfast option with 22g of protein and high in healthy fats.Greek Yogurt with Berries and Chia Seeds: This snack offers 20g of protein and is lower in fat.Protein Smoothie: A quick and easy 30g protein hit, combining protein powder, almond milk, banana, and spinach.Higher Protein Meal Ideas (30g-50g Protein Per Serving):Kolby then ups the ante with meals that contain 30-50 grams of protein per serving—perfect for larger meals or anyone needing more fuel to sustain their workouts. Some examples include:Grilled Salmon with Quinoa and Veggies: A nutrient-dense meal packing 42g of protein.Turkey Burger with Cottage Cheese: A 40g protein meal that's surprisingly easy to prepare and perfect for a post-workout refuel.Egg White Omelette with Turkey and Spinach: A lighter, high-protein breakfast option with 35g of protein.Protein Hacks for 50g+ Protein:For those who need an even bigger protein boost, Kolby shares his favorite “protein hacks” that offer 50 grams or more in a single sitting. These are ideal for those who are short on their daily protein intake or need something quick and efficient:Double Protein Shake: Two scoops of whey protein blended with almond milk, spinach, and ice for a whopping 50g of protein.Cottage Cheese with Turkey Slices: Surprisingly, this combination packs a punch with 52g of protein and can be a quick snack option.Tuna Salad with Greek Yogurt: By doubling up on the tuna and mixing with Greek yogurt, this provides a high-protein meal with 50g of protein and minimal carbs and fats.Takeaway Message:Kolby wraps up by stressing the value of adding more protein into your diet, especially for anyone serious about improving their fitness and body composition. By making small changes—like swapping snacks for high-protein options or using protein “hacks”—you can crowd out less nutritious foods without feeling deprived. If you try adding just 50 grams more protein a day, you're likely to see improvements in muscle gain, fat loss, and overall performance in the gym. Plus, with options that fit a variety of tastes and dietary preferences, it's easier than ever to hit your protein goals.Kolby concludes by mentioning that all the protein-packed meal ideas will be made available in the show notes, and a PDF version will be accessible to members soon. Stay tuned for more great content on nutrition, fitness, and wellness, and don't forget to share how you're staying active!

This week we are finishing up our Ingmar Bergman theme with his most famous film The Seventh Seal (1958) I was pleasantly surprised that this film was set during the Black Plague and it's dedication in terms of set and costume design to that era was refreshing and immersive. Over the course of a seven-part miniseries that began last September called Groomed to Die: The Kendzia Children, I told you about the countless alleged crimes committed by Susan Lee, formerly known as Susan Stevenson, Susan Cook, and Susan Kendzia. I told you about Susan's charges in the 1980s for the murders of her two adopted infant sons, Michael and Kevin, and her subsequent murder trial; the chronic, inexplicable illnesses suffered by Susan's daughter, Shain, throughout her first 28 years; and Susan's alleged abuse of her own children, her step-sons, the children she babysat, and the third infant she was somehow allowed to adopt even after the first two died under suspicious circumstances. In this episode, I will provide multiple updates in this saga, including Susan's sudden death in April of this year; the shocking results of her post-mortem tox screen; and the placement of a headstone for baby Kevin after 37 long years. This episode is brought to you by BetterHelp. Whereas we used to be challenged with finding information, today we are flooded with information, and our job has switched to vetting it's merits. Three students from the University of Florida spoke to me about their efforts in a national competition to study the origins of false information and communicate how to identify good information to the public. Tammy, Heather and Courtney were amazing guests that discussed their mission, along with a suite of online resources to help guide the public to quality information.
Epidsode 232: The strongest earthquake ever recorded in eastern Canada, measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale, occurred at 5:02pm Newfoundland time on the 18 of November in 1929. It was felt as far west as Ottawa and as far south as New York City. The quake, centred around 250 km south of Newfoundland along the southern edge of the Grand Banks caused a massive sub-ocean landslide. Two and a half hours after the quake a series of tsunami waves smashed into Newfoundland's isolated Burin Peninsula devastating property, upending the fishery and causing 28 deaths.
