This February we got a chance to ride the dunes out at Winchester Bay, OR. While at this ride, we met up with the founders of the largest UTV focused Facebook community in the Northwest.
After some quite frankly brilliant guest mixes from all manner of talented DJs over the last few months, it's about time I had a go at one, so this time it's me doing my usual thing for hour 1, then me again playing more songs that I like but without the talking in hour 2. The first hour features tracks from Cerrone, Amp Fiddler, Marvin Gaye, Tavares and Recloose, and a few tasty edits from the likes of Barry & Gibbs and Get To Know. My guest mix is a bit of a mixed bag - some house tracks I bought recently, more edits, a few curveballs... I'm not usually one to plan mixes too exactly so this one takes a few turns on the journey. And it's an exclusive one too, so not uploaded anywhere else! As is customary for Funkier Radio I like to promote the guest a bit... so make sure you get yourself over to soundcloud.com/evenfunkier and instagram.com/evenfunkier for lashings of Funkier Goodness from myself! I'll see y'all in a couple of weeks, keep it real. xx HOUR 1 TRACKLIST Recloose - Dust Cerrone - African Voodoo Linda Evans - You Control Me (Kon Edit) Michelle Weeks, Wipe The Needle - My Everything (Opolopo Remix) Taxie - Rock Don't Stop Marvin Gaye - A Funky Space Reincarnation Raw Soul Express - The Way We Live Amp Fiddler feat. Dames Brown - Slippin on Ya Pimpin (Situation Remix) TotalCult - P-Funky Tom Booze - Get Fonky Wit It Fatnotronic & In Flagranti - Botoque Sandra de Sá - Trem da Central Banbarra - Shack Up Pasteur Lappe - Na Real Sekele Fo Ya (Barry&Gibbs Edit) Tavares - Loveline (Get To Know Edit) Ce Ce Rogers - Someday HOUR 2 TRACKLIST Horse Meat Disco feat. Amy Douglas - Let's Go Dancing (Dimitri From Paris Remix) Sweet Fruity Brunch - Paisible Fleuve Phairo - Celadon Soulphiction - Bizzness Ray Parker, Jr. - For Those Who Like to Groove Shook - Rise And Fall Doc L. Junior - Let's Go (Never Been To Tokyo) P-Funk All Stars - Generator Pop (12" Mix) Kyoto Jazz Massive - Substream (Even Funkier Edit) First Choice - Love Thang (Dr Packer Rework) Barry&Gibbs - I Feel Your Love Slam Dunk'd feat. Chromeo & Al-P - No Price (Art Of Tones Extended Disco Mix) Dirty Channels - Watchin Out Dan Kye - Like You Wanna Moodymann - Tribute Junior Boys - You'll Improve Me (Caribou Remix) Gladys Knight & The Pips - Bourgie Bourgie (Clemens Rumpf's Refreshed Disco Edit)

We Get to Know... Erin Busbee from Busbee Style. Erin Busbee of Busbee Style is the go-to style, beauty, and lifestyle expert for busy women juggling life. She provides simple, step-by-step guidance, through relatable, video tutorials, “How To” blog posts, and key shopping suggestions. Erin’s mission is to empower women to become more stylish and confident… focusing on both the inside and out. We absolutely loved chatting with Erin and hearing how she got her start. Before blogging, Erin was as an award-winning journalist, most notably at CBS in New York City. In 2009, an inherent passion for fashion prompted her to start styling services via Busbeestyle.com specializing in “real” women. Currently, she focuses her attention online on both the blog and her YouTube channel, BusbeeStyle TV. Erin believes true beauty begins on the inside. That’s why she started a video series called, “Real Talk”. She also shares her healthy lifestyle suggestions, featuring everything from diet and exercise to spiritual and emotional growth. Erin has an incredibly noteworthy presence having appeared as a style expert on Good Morning America and CBS 2 News This Morning. She has worked with major brands like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, ebay and Olay. Erin’s most important role however, is being a mom to nine-year old Gage and six-year old Elizabeth. Listen in and be inspired for a more stylish but most importantly healthier you. Visit wegettoknow.com to explore original and guest related content and to learn more about our podcasts and guests.
