Schedule CEO time: Dedicate 20 minutes every Monday and Friday to review, plan, and adjust your week in alignment with your goals. Create a rainy-day plan: Have a go-to list of mood-boosting and focus-restoring activities for when motivation tanks or life throws curveballs. The ultimate message? I LOVE traveling. There's something wonderful about escaping from your routine and something just as lovely about returning to it at the end of a trip. I find being away from home, no matter how incredible, always makes me grateful to get back. I haven't done too many excursions from my real life lately, with a young child and buying a new home this year. We're enjoying being in our happy place and getting settled in this particular season of life. But I have traveled a ton throughout my adult years and I've learned a lot about how to plan and pack a travel wardrobe — worry-free. Because yes, I tend to worry. I think of all the worst case scenarios. I deal with anxiety and I hate to feel out of control when things don't go according to plan. So I know, firsthand, how hard it can be to find the delicate balance between planning for a trip and obsessively stressing over a trip. In today's episode, I'm answering a whole series of questions from our friend, Eden, about how to get ready for a multi-purpose getaway with less stress and anxiety, so you can ensure you have what you need to enjoy yourself and leave your worries at home. If you have more travel plans coming up this summer or in the months ahead, you're going to want to turn up the volume and get ready to take some notes! Hey friend! I'm back with another Q&A Thursday episode… and it's funny. When I first came up with the idea for these bonus episodes each week, where I answer your questions, I thought they'd be shorter, 10-minute and under episodes. But they've actually been some of the longest! Today might be different. I received a quick question from our girl, Kara, over on Instagram. She has a common problem with several pieces in her closet — they generate a whole lot of static! I know nobody wants to wear a top, skirt, or dress that's stuck to their skin all day long. So in this (potentially brief) Q&A Thursday episode, I'm sharing my best tips to eliminate the dreaded static cling, solving a couple of other common fashion emergencies you might be facing, and maybe giving you an unpopular opinion on several solutions you might have bought into over the years. Refill your mug and sit back as we ensure your wardrobe runs a whole lot smoother!
