This week on Beyond the Noise, we hear from Pitch Marketing Group founder and chief executive Henry Chappell, who discusses why FIFA World Cup 26 looks set to eclipse all previous global sporting events, according to a new report from the sports marketing agency.Beyond the Noise looks at some of the biggest issues affecting comms and PR. Download the podcast via Apple, Spotify, or on your favourite platform. With exactly one year to go until FIFA World Cup 26 kicks off, the Pitch report predicts the tournament will have a global reach of more than five billion people, equivalent to about 63 per cent of the world's population. A staggering 711 billion combined engagements across all media platforms are also anticipated.Speaking to PRWeek editor-in-chief Danny Rogers, Chappell – who has topped the PRWeek UK Power Book Sports (Agency) list for the past two years – said the scale of the tournament was unprecedented, with 104 matches across 16 cities converging sport with culture, music and technology.Sandy Doran, strategy director at Pitch, stated: “Geopolitics and legacy aside, the real winners will be the brands who use the ‘human intelligence' of content creators the best, or at least bother to check that their AI content isn't going rogue. And also the brands that represent football fans, first and foremost, and don't get suckered into the ‘Super Bowl-isation' of the tournament.”The podcast also hears why brands will have to be decisive about the role of artificial intelligence in their campaigns, and how the report warns that authentic content from ex-professional footballers could prove more popular than anything produced by traditional broadcasters. Are you dreaming of a peaceful family vacation but dreading the inevitable teen drama? Have you ever come home from a trip feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation? In this episode of Power Your Parenting: Moms of Teens, Colleen O'Grady sits down with family travel coach Laura Rahn to explore how family vacations can become meaningful, memory-making experiences rather than stress-filled disasters. Together, they unpack why so many well-intentioned trips go off the rails—hint: it often starts before the bags are even packed. Laura shares her “Dream, Design, Depart” process, helping families clarify the purpose of their trip, communicate expectations ahead of time, and include teens in the planning process so everyone feels heard and invested. Laura Rahn is a retired educator and a certified Family Travel Coach. She lives in Virginia with her husband and wonderful dog. As a military BRAT, she has been traveling her whole life. Laura has been involving her two adult daughters in the vacation planning process since they were old enough to have a voice and loves sharing her passion for family travel with others. One key takeaway is that clear communication is everything—bringing your teen to the table early allows for shared expectations and fewer meltdowns. Another is to define the "why" of your vacation before picking the "where"; when everyone understands the purpose, the rest falls into place. Finally, moms are reminded not to lose themselves in the hustle—you matter too, and it's okay to want something out of the vacation that's just for you. After all, a truly great family trip leaves everyone feeling restored and connected. #174// A Plan is simply a healthy boundary around your time, your talents and your effort. Having a plan is like having a roadmap for how to navigate to your breakthrough.I'm coming in with a hard but GOOD word for you today . . . YES, You DO need a plan (Luke 14:28). YES, You CAN plan (Philippians 4:13). And YES, You can even learn CONTENTMENT and find JOY in the midst of the process of planning (1 Corinthians 9:24-27).Maybe you've had an experience of planning letting you down in the past. Maybe you don't feel like you're good at it. Maybe you've believed the lie that, since the outcome belongs to the Lord, it's a waste of time to plan for your breakthrough and eventual victory in Christ Jesus. Can I tell you something? The devil is a liar and he's trying to do whatever he can to get you off the plan for your life, Sis!You need a God-given strategy for how to steward your time, talents and efforts as it pertains to the work God has given you to do in this life. And the longer you live in the chaos of what you think is "waiting on God" (when what's really happening is just a mixture of apathy and bad theology), the farther down the disappointment pit you will fall. But Jesus came that you might have abundant life, to the FULL. Are you ready for that?On this episode of The Positioned to Prosper Podcast we're talking about why you definitely need a plan, how to get to the place where you know you can craft and execute a plan, and how to even enjoy the journey of planning so you can step into your most fruitful year with the Lord EVER, all without the overwhelm. It's time, so before you hit play -- Grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let's Go!LISTEN WITH THE SHOW NOTES: Head over to ericapyle.com/174 to grab the show notes which include the scriptures mentioned in the episode as well as links to resources and tools to help you apply the session to your life this week!WANT A GUIDE TO HELP YOU PLAN YOUR MOST FRUITFUL YEAR EVER? The year's winding down faster than a foreclosure auction in Texas! We're knee-deep in holiday cheer (and maybe a few too many pumpkin spice lattes), but let's not let the holiday spirit distract us from setting ourselves up for a wildly successful 2025. This week, I'm sharing my end-of-year checklist to make sure you're not caught napping when the new year rolls around.Let's be honest, sometimes planning for the future feels about as fun as filing your taxes (and about as relaxing as a root canal). But if you take a little time now to prepare, you'll thank yourself later when your business is thriving. Think of it as pre-gaming for your next financial victory — you wouldn't show up to a major real estate deal unprepared, would you? Here's my action plan – a mix of strategic moves and tactical tweaks to keep your business running smoothly. I've broken it down into ten tasks that should be done, no questions asked:Max Out Your IRA: Think of this as putting some serious money in the bank before January 1st. Yes, I know, taxes. But this helps you hit those investment goals a little sooner.Network, Network, Network: Yes, it's the same tired advice, but it still works. Connect with asset managers, IRA investors, and fellow real estate peeps before they hit the ground running in the new year. Don't let holiday cookies and eggnog keep you from closing those deals.Update Your Online Presence: This means your website, your LinkedIn profile, basically everything that represents you in the digital world. You're basically upgrading your online storefront; let's make sure it's optimized and visually appealing to attract potential clients.Start Planning for OPM (Other People's Money): You have a head-start now to start securing funding for your next ventures. That means mapping out potential funding sources, whether that's through IRA investors or other avenues.Contact Asset Managers: Start reaching out to asset managers now. They often unload assets at year's end, providing you with incredible opportunities. The rest of my checklist involves reviewing past year's goals, updating your marketing calendar, refining your pitch decks, reviewing expenses, and, finally, celebrating your wins. This isn't just about hitting numbers; it's about building a solid foundation for continued growth. Just like building a strong real estate portfolio requires planning, patience, and the right approach, building a thriving business necessitates consistent review and optimization.Remember, this isn't some theoretical exercise. We're talking about real-world strategies. Taking these steps now will save you time, stress, and maybe even a few headaches in the new year. The new year is just around the corner; take control of your success by putting in the work today. I can't wait to see what you all accomplish in the coming year. Until next time, happy investing!Watch the original VIDEO HERE!Book a call with SCOTT HERE!Love the show? This episode goes out to all the homeowners waiting to plan, or dream about home improvement projects until you've saved up the home remodel budget. I hope you'll take this the right way when I tell you … you're doing it wrong.I know … you're being responsible. You're waiting to plan util you've got the budget in the bank. But … ACTUALLY it's more responsible for you to plan your remodel now, before you have the budget for it than to save for years and then start planning. Let's talk about why.Starting to plan when you feel ready to start remodeling is too late for a satisfyingly speedy process. And Saving without a plan is actually pretty unrealistic. So if your question was: Della, how can I plan before I have my home remodel budget saved up? I'll ask you this, how could realistically budget when you don't yet know what you want to do?Grab the episode show notes at www.midmod-midwest.com/1904OR just enroll in Ready to Remodel, right here, right now, and get started planning for an accurate and motivating home remodel budget!

It worked for me and I've seen it work for my clients as well. Setting fees that will pay you well is an important threshold to cross as a new coach. The longer you wait to cross it the scarier it will feel.Sure, it makes sense to give some coaching away during coach training. Your trainer might have encouraged that because they want you to practice coaching skills with as many people as you can as often as possible.Practice integrates learning. The downside of offering free or low-cost coaching past coach training is it becomes an ingrained habit. That's how some coaches get stuck in what I call perpetual student mode. This is where that practice-integrates-learning thing can work against you, as it becomes increasingly difficult to shift from free or charging little to charging fees that pay you well. It's time to break free from this trap.
