In this episode of the "She's Making an Impact" podcast, Terra shares an inspiring and practical message on overcoming perfectionism and embracing the principle that "done is better than perfect." As we start a new year, let's focus on obedience to God's calling, take action on goals, and trust Him with the results. It's time for us to stop spinning our wheels and start making an impact by releasing our gifts and talents to serve others! Episode highlights include: Done is Better Than Perfect The importance of finishing tasks and releasing them rather than endlessly tweaking and striving for unattainable perfection is emphasized. Progress is better than stagnation. Obedience Over Fear Fear of the results often holds us back, but it's essential to trust God with the outcomes of our efforts and focus on being obedient to His calling. God's Desires in Our Hearts Psalm 37:4 shows how delighting in the Lord aligns our desires with His will, empowering us to act in faith and confidence. Taking Action on Goals Real-life examples highlight the challenges of perfectionism, such as hesitating to submit a resume or launch a project, and the importance of pushing past those mental blocks to move forward. Using Your God-Given GiftsThe encouragement is clear: trust that the skills and talents God has placed in you are sufficient to make a meaningful difference when shared with others. ___________________________________________________________ Connect with Terra: If you want to talk business, go to helpmecoachnow.com and set up a time to chat about your next best steps in this journey. Now, it's time to look closer at the story and examine how Jesus' unique interactions with Martha and Mary reveal His approach to personal relationships and faith. 0:00 - Continuing with the story of Lazarus and what we'll cover in this episode 2:32 - Reading and discussing John 11:17-37 and Jesus' unique conversations with Martha and Mary 13:36 - What lessons we can take away from this story and building a relationship with God ___________________________________________________________ Connect with Terra: If you want to talk business, go to helpmecoachinow.com and set up a time to chat about your next best steps in this journey. Did you know? 44% of the American workforce makes less than $20 an hour and are living paycheck to paycheck. Much of that hourly wage employee sector is considered essential workforce to keep our economy humming, as evident in the pandemic triggered shut down and in the current supply chain crisis. For this Compassionate Capitalist Show, Karen Rands is joined by Sabina Bhatia, Chief Customer Officer at PayActiv, to talk about the impact 'financial insecurity and well being' of hourly wage workers have on the profitability and scalability of businesses. Earned Wage Access is rapidly becoming the #1 way for companies to attract and retain their non-salary employees. Understanding HOW high turnover and job vacancies, and how distracted and anxious employees effect quality control and customer experience, is critical for both founders and investors. The soft dollar impact on the financial performance of a company and stagnation of a company to reach their growth targets directly correlates to the ROI of an investment. With great passion and focus, Sabina Bhatia has been instrumental in building the financial category of Earned Wage Access from infancy to mainstream adoption as the most important employee wellness benefit of 2022. As a Chief Customer Officer at Payactiv, she acts as a daily advocate and amplifier for the needs of thousands of corporate clients and millions of lower-income workers.
