Meneekö Israel liian pitkälle iskuissaan Syyriaan? Keskustelemassa eduskunnan ulkoasiainvaliokunnan puheenjohtaja Johannes Koskinen (sd.) sekä valiokunnan jäsenet Pia Kauma (kok) ja Eva Biaudet (rkp). Israel on tuhonnut noin 80 prosenttia Syyrian sotakalustosta. Toimittajana on Linda Pelkonen.
MATERNITY, 5min., Finland Directed by Joel Koskinen A timid, pregnant woman living alone, finds her inner strength when she must defend herself against a mysterious intruder. https://www.instagram.com/maternity_film/ Get to know the filmmaker: My motivation of making this film was to tell meaningful stories. There are moments in life when particular ideas and elements of the story hit me and won't leave me alone. That is a sign that the idea is something worthwhile really doing. One topic that has been in my mind in the past years is the problem of equality and how badly women are treated in the world. Not only in the countries where women are legally oppressed but also how they are individually being treated in the western countries. So the idea of a single woman living alone with her baby in the zombie-apocalypse surviving and showing her strenght was something that stuck in my head as a fan of the zombie genre.

Suru on luonnollinen reaktio menetykseen. Jokainen kokee sen omalla tavallaan. Myös menetyksen tapa vaikuttaa suruun ja suremiseen. Joskus voi tuntua, että suru ei helpota. The Edmonton Oilers are looking to make it three wins in a row tonight when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers. The Oilers have not faced the Flyers yet this season but in their most recent meeting Mikko Koskinen had a 39-save shutout to help Edmonton win 3-0. Tonight, there will be no Koskinen for the Oilers since he now plays in Europe, instead, it is likely that Stuart Skinner gets the start. Is starting Skinner the correct decision? Tyler Yaremchuk will discuss that and more on today's Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show edition of Oilersnation Everyday. On top of that, he will go in deep on the latest topics going on around the Edmonton Oilers. Like every show, Tyler wants to hear from you. Head over to The Nation Network YouTube channel to interact with him, and his guests, throughout the show. What is your score prediction? Who will get the first goal? For most artistic athletes, competition is a part of life. Whether you're a dancer, skater, gymnast, or cheerleader chances are you're competing at some point. Competitions can be grueling, multi-day events consisting of 14-hour days, multiple performances, and little access to fresh whole foods. So how do you prepare for a competition, and what can you do during the event to make sure you are at the top of your game and come out of it injury-free? We decided to approach this topic from a multi-disciplinary angle, so Jennifer, Dr. Bluestein, and resident Bendy Bodies nutrition expert, Kristin Koskinen, all sat down for a round table discussion on this important topic. We talk through a timeline of preparation before the big event, and ways to make sure you're heading into your competition as healthy and prepared as possible. Nutrition, training, sleep, and more are discussed as we sketch out the ways to make the most of your preparation time. Kristin offers practical advice on ways to fuel healthily during the competition, often without access to refrigerators or even a true meal break. Dr. Bluestein shares ways to be prepared for any issues that might come up physically, and Jennifer reveals her top competition-day tips. Finally, we look at the importance of recovering after a competition. How we replenish our body's nutrients, ways to approach constructive rest and gradual return to training, and more are shared as we offer ways to be the healthiest competitive artist you can be. Share this with parents of young artistic athletes, bookmark for yourself as a competitor, and pass it on to studio owners, coaches, physical therapists, and more! . . . . . #CompetitionDay #PreparingForCompetitions #Nutrition #NutritionalTips #HealthyFoodAdvice #Nutrients #NutritionEducation #Sleep #SleepTips #SleepHealth #TrainingAdvice #TrainingDay

As the weather changes and schedules become busier, staying healthy can feel like a huge challenge. Artistic athletes may struggle to keep their bodies at optimal performance level, and fighting off infectious illnesses may seem like an uphill battle. How can we naturally strengthen our immune system, supporting its function for optimum success? We posed this question to Kristin Koskinen, RDN and Bendy Bodies team member, in this episode. Kristin shares why dancers and other performing artists with hypermobility and/or a connective tissue disorder like the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes should care about immunity and nutrition in general. She explains how the foods we eat impact our immune system, and how investing efforts to fuel well now can have a big impact on our health down the road. Kristin walks us through her process for building a healthy, supportive diet for her clients, talking through her suggestions for planning wide varieties of foods, as well as efficient shortcuts when time is an issue. She discusses the possible effects of sugar on the immune system, and how to deal with the emotional component of foods during the holidays. Kristen looks at the impact of alcohol on the immune system and talks about the microbiome's role. She shares her expert view on nutritional supplements including probiotics, and offers lots of encouraging tips for managing busy seasons while striving for healthy nutrition. Sosiaalinen media on viime vuosina ottanut jykevän paikan yhteiskunnallisessa keskustelussa, mediakentällä ja politiikassa. Mitä tapahtuu, kun koko maailman ihmisten eri maailmankuvat avautuvat toisilleen, tiedon ja päätöksenteon virta nopeutuu, ja poliitikoilla pyörii jatkuvasti päässään some-kela? Syntyy öyhökratia. Tästä ilmiöstä Minea Koskinen, Johannes Koponen ja Jussi Pullinen ovat kirjoittaneet kirjan. Mikä se on, ja miten se toimii? Miten se vaikuttaa moderniin vallankäyttöön? Miten Marinin kohua voi tulkita öyhökratian kautta? Onko se tehnyt meistä entistä polarisoituneempia? Ja miten meidän tulisi käsitellä yhteentörmääviä maailmankatsomuksia? Tervetuloa kuuntelemaan. It's Friday afternoon and that means we're hitting you with a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to help you finish off what's left of your week with an hour of all things Edmonton Oilers. On today's show, we looked at the Oilers' six-game winning streak, Connor McDavid's heater, and a whole lot more. Kicking off this week's podcast, we got started with a conversation about the goaltending and specifically which goalie we would start for Game 1 of the playoffs provided that the boys are able to get in. Would it make sense to lean on Smith now that he's playing better? Would you go to Koskinen based on what he's done all season? From there, we looked at the heater Connor McDavid is on right now and took a few guesses as to whether or not he'll be able to hit 50 goals with only 10 games left on the schedule. Speaking of guys that are on a run, we also spent some time giving love to Mike Smith as the veteran netminder has been very good for the Oilers over the last couple of weeks. Lastly, we wrapped up this week's podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers to recap what was a very busy week here in Edmonton.

Darren Dreger, host of Ray and Dregs and Podcast joined Matt and Blake for his regular Wednesday hit. Started with the Canucks front office. Talked about why Allvin isn’t such a slam dunk. Was reminded that he is very likely going to make the short list of five or six candidates. We do know there are a couple that have been made public. Talked about Sean Burke and will echo the comments of Sekeres. Don’t make the mistake of making Allvin the front runner. Doens’t mean he won’t get the job. Talked about Ryan Johnson. There is a chance he rises in the Rutherford era. The fact he was kept on board is credit to the Aquilini’s. Thinks that Jim had a handle of what he was about and wanted to get to know more. Even if he isn’t GM, that doesn’t mean he isn’t an importance peice moving forward. Talked about if there could be a parallel between the Kent Hughes hiring in MTL. Talked about the roles a diversity candidate could fulfill. Talked about the timeline for new management. Says that Jimmy is hungry and doesn’t want to sit around for a rebuild to happen as he gets up there in age. Whatever he does is going to strengthen the team. Says Motte is his type of player. There would be a conversation with the agent before making a move on Motte. There is a market for him, depends on supply and demand. Thinks a draft pick for sure. How high, is the question. Dregs said he will ask Ray why he is so “pissy”. Talked about that situation. Dregs didn’t like it from either account. The assembled media who lead the pack, weren’t there. Feels like Jim would have phrased it differently. Leon didn’t like the approach he took at Koskinen. The belief internally is that is why Leon went about it the way he did. Dregs thinks that we will have some news on the GM front by the time we speak again, next Wednesday. Our Canucks reporter and one half of the Rink Wide Podcast, Jeff Paterson joined Matt and Blake in his normal slot. Talked about performances of the season. Thinks that WAS game was a very good performance. Talked about EP40 and the kid line he is on with Höglander and Podkolzin. Talked about Canucks players in Covid protocol. Talked about how they will utilize Demko as they need more wins to keep the playoff push alive. Talked about Lammikko and how he and his line could be utilized. Talked about Tyler Motte and how much longer he will be a Canuck. Not sure anyone should be putting penalty killer on their business card if they are a Vancouver Canuck. It’s a red flag. You like everything about the guy on and off the ice. He is an open book. Honest as the day is long. JPat does view him as a trade-chip. Talked about this trip being what Jim needed to see. Now he can go about shaking it up the way he wants.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
