Today, we're diving into a few exciting and thought-provoking stories — situations where the characters face tough choices and have to decide between two difficult options. These are scenarios many of us might find familiar: like being late for class, getting stuck in the mountains, taking the wrong route, or losing important belongings while traveling. Each story comes with its own little adventure, a tricky decision, and a few questions at the end — perfect for practicing your Persian and thinking critically. So, if you're looking to improve your Farsi and reflect on what you'd do in these situations, stay with us!If Podgap helps you with learning the Persian language, share it with your friends. That would mean a lot to us. W/C 26th May 2025I completed my final run for the month yesterday, and also the final run in my current pair of running shoes, and I mention it because it is a bit of a bitter-sweet moment.I become quite attached to my runners, and whilst I am looking forward to a new pair (the first few runs in new shoes are always great) it always feels like I am being less than respectful to my current squeeze as we approach the end of our time together.Of course, the reality is that isn't the case. After a well earned (and no doubt) invigorating spin through the washing machine, my trusty pair of Saucony Ride 17s (Tangerine & White) will be this year's casual wear of choice.Stay safe.No Easy Way Down - Mark EitzelTherapy For Me (or TFM as I now refer to it) is a bit of an audio curiosity. It started out as a mechanism for me to clear my head, with the hope that by saying stuff out loud it would act as a little bit of self-help. It's remains loose in style, fluid in terms of content and raw - it's a one take, press record and see what happens, affair. If you want to keep in touch with TFM and the other stuff I do then please follow me on Facebook, Insta, Twitter or Patreon. Thanks for getting this far.

We cover "No Easy Way Down," an emotional and creative high point for this series. After the traumatic events of "Relentless" three three issues show us Selina, Holly and Slam all dealing with their feelings. The action is moved into the background as we hear the characters thoughts, see their dreams, and feel their pain! It's an incredible trio of books and a must read for anyone who likes good comics! There is no easy way to get rich quick. It's tempting to believe that there is, especially with all the stories you hear on the news and on social media. But the truth is, we need to be cautious and realistic about our financial situations. We can't fall for every offer or post we see on social media that promises easy money. So, in this episode, I want to get back to basics and share some tips on how we can start taking control of our financial situations. Listen in as I recap some of the key lessons from our previous episode on getting back to basics and share some additional tips on how to establish financial fitness routines, review expenses, and understand retirement-saving options. I promise you that these are simple yet effective steps that can make a significant impact on your financial well-being. Remember: small, imperfect actions are better than no action at all, so don't forget to make a date in your calendar to take one small step toward your financial fitness goals. “Let's get back to paying attention, taking accountability, and being disciplined with our actions when it comes to our finances.” - Tracey Bissett This Week on Young Money: Why there is no easy way to get rich quick. We tend to seek the easy way out to our sin. We either avoid it or make excuses for it. The reality is that there is no easy way out when it comes to our sin, it must be dealt with. When we face our sin and believe in faith that Jesus has redeemed it through suffering, we are willing to sacrifice anything to walk in reconciliation with God and others.New to Fielder? https://www.fielder.org/connectQuestions or Need Prayer? In today's episode of the Purple Patch Podcast, IRONMAN Master Coach Matt Dixon takes us back to the core values of Purple Patch Fitness to help provide perspective on framing your performance mindset. The simple fact is, anything worthwhile is inherently difficult. The road to Kona is riddled with adversity. As is spearheading the drive for your team or company's success. Most of the time, that's part of the fun. The challenge is the game. The goal always requires commitment, consistency, and hard work, but as time-starved athletes, you are faced with an optimization challenge. Where do you make the time for family, work, and training? How do you fit the performance journey into your already crowded schedule? There are many approaches that pitch the “less is more” mindset or “the easy way to (insert goal here).” But there is no shortcut, quick fix, or expert trick. Some approaches promise to help you find harmony and balance, but they miss the mark of your specific challenges and what you are trying to achieve. “Trying to hide from friction or challenge, and seeking some utopian magic pathway that's bathed in balance, it's nonsense.” (20:25) Whether you are a time-starved athlete or a busy executive, the foundation Matt lays out will help you apply focus around the strategies and practices that can help you improve performance and develop the capacity to achieve long-term success. “I'm not trying to diminish the challenge. Instead, what I'm doing is developing you and equipping you with tools to be able to respond to any challenge.” (28:06) Using the lens of the athlete and the executive, Matt explains how to leverage proven tactics and approaches to maximize the return on your hard work to deliver long-term sustainable performance in sport and life. Summary: This Black Friday didn't look quite like last year's, so I sit down and chat with Eddy Gifford to discuss the shift in shopping habits. Given the adjusted inflation numbers, online sales are not up in the way that businesses want us to think they are. As foot traffic declines, we're starting to see the destruction of demand, which also means that employment will start to go up. Ultimately, things are going to get worse before they get better. Tune to get a glimpse of what's to come in 2023. Highlights: -Black Friday is not what it used to be; the retail sector has spread out Black Friday promotions -Online sales are not actually up given the adjusted inflation numbers -We're not seeing the same foot traffic we used to in stores -We're seeing the destruction of demand, which means employment is going to start going up -Treasuries have started to retreat -The first/second quarter of next year are probably going to be ugly -We probably haven't seen a bottom occur yet, and. things are going to get worse before they get better -The economy may have impacted the election in terms of Democrats attacking Roe v. Wade -The idea of the Fed easing at the perfect time may not be feasible Useful Links: Financial Survival Network Tactive

He started out as an actor and television presenter. Then he burst onto the music scene in 1986, representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest with his first hit song, "No Easy Way to Love". In 1989, he and his music partner, Paul Varney, formed the British pop duo, “YELL”. They were eventually signed by Simon Cowell's Fanfare Record Label, and they released 3 hit singles, “Instant Replay', “One Thing Leads to Another”, and “Let's Go Round Again.” Their album, entitled, “Let's Go”, featured 3 ballads written by our guest. After the duo went their separate ways, he resumed his acting career in the US and the UK, appearing in films and TV shows including “Bad Girls”, “Coronation Street”, “Eastenders”, “Doctors”, “Apartment for Eight”, and many more. Most recently, he's returned to his first love, singing and songwriting. He had 2 top 20 Heritage Chart hits with his songs, “Set Your Spirit Free”, and “Don't Want to Lose That Girl”.
