Conny shares her interesting life journey, from her roots in Switzerland to her life on a Canadian farm.   The conversation kicks off with Conny talking about her childhood in Switzerland, her family's frequent relocations, and her eventual move to Canada driven by a sense of coming home. She also delves into her passion for horseback riding, which she pursued after becoming an adult, and discusses her life on acreage with a variety of animals.   A significant portion of the podcast focuses on Conny's expertise in decluttering and organizing. Conny, who also runs the podcast "From Chaos to Peace," discusses the psychological aspects of clutter, the importance of decluttering as an act of self-love, and provides insights into how to navigate both personal and business clutter. She emphasizes the importance of taking small, continuous steps rather than aiming for perfect organization overnight.   Conny also shares practical tips on how to manage chaos in various areas of life, including finances and business, advocating for a lifestyle of ongoing organization rather than periodic, stressful clean-ups. She discusses how to make peace pockets in our lives by making consistent, small changes rather than large, unsustainable efforts.   Throughout the episode, Conny's passion and knowledge about creating a peaceful environment shine through. She offers listeners valuable advice on how to achieve a sense of peace through better organization and decluttering in both their personal and professional lives.   For more information, you can visit Conny's website at connygraf.com and listen to her podcast "From Chaos to Peace with Conny Graf."   Follow along this podcast journey www.instagram.com/PodcastsandPortraits My Photography Page is Capture Photography Studio located in beautiful Pitt Meadows, BC, Canada. Another fun guest episode! This time we have the other member of the tongue tie trio with Jen and Karlee to talk about the importance of a village and what it means to each of them (if you listened to our first episodes you'll know the tongue tie trio is how Jen and Karlee met). We talk about how finding your village may not include family and that it doesn't matter the size of the village, instead how meaningful those relationships are. If you are in the Lower Mainland make sure you check out Bellies Community Space's monthly events. If not, make sure you listen to Episode 1: How to Make Mom Friends. Also, we all used Dr. Bhatti (in Pitt Meadows) for the tongue tie revisions. We want to hear from you!  Please ask us any questions or provide topic suggestions that you want to hear more about. Remember that nothing is off limits, we are here to talk about anything and everything including what society deems as shameful. You can leave a comment here, send us a DM on Instagram @thefriendlymomsclub or email us at thefriendlymomsclub@gmail.com  Disclaimer:  We are not medical experts. The Girls Gone Hallmark Facebook Group did not declare this movie the winner of the weekend. What will Megan and Wendy think? Tell us which current Hallmark Channel star would you like to see participate on Dancing with the Stars? Email the show at meganandwendy@gmail.com. Mentioned in this Episode January is going to be lit on the Hallmark Channel! See what's in store for viewers. January is going to be a big month for the Hallmark Channel! About "A Fabled Holiday" Brooke D'Orsay plays Talia. She was in this year's “Wedding of a Lifetime” with Jonathan Bennett. Also last year's “A Dickens of a Holiday!” with Kristoffer Polaha. She not very active on social media. She has a total of 10 posts since 2018. Ryan Paevey plays Anderson. He was in this year's “Two Tickets to Paradise” with Ashley Williams. Related: Ryan Paevey is part of the voice cast in "Once Upon a Christmas Carol" Ruby J. Munroe directed. This is her third directing credit. Dolan Dix is credited with the story and only has this one title and nothing else on IMDB. The teleplay was written by Samantha Herman who has 12 writing credits including “Our Italian Christmas Memories,” “A Christmas Tree Grows in Colorado,” and a bunch more. My least favorite being “Mingle All the Way.” Related: Listen to our review of "Mingle All the Way" Filmed in British Columbia, mainly in Vancouver, Abbotsford, and Pitt Meadows.  Clayburn Village Store in Abbotsford was used for a few scenes. Now retired from the NHL, Brendan spends his time hosting his firing and adventure show "Reel West Coast." Former Vancouver Canucks forward, Brendan Morrison, joined Matt and Blake for our latest holiday special programming. Started off talking about playoff hockey. Says they are the best games to play in. Talked about going up against Mike Smith, who played for the Coyotes, as a Blackhawk. In the battle of Alberta, he is going for the Flames, having played there for awhile. Talked about growing up in Pitt Meadows. Doesn’t exactly remember the first time he was on the ice but he was 5 years old. Took to the game right away. Road hockey was a huge part of his life growing up. From an early age, he was always a guy that put up numbers. Not saying it was easy but that was his job. He just went out and played and that was the outcome. Talked about why he went the Jr. A and college route. Talked about being added to the Portland Winterhawks protected list. He was pretty intent on going to school, though. Talked about his time in Michigan. Was there the same time the Fab 5 were there. Knew that he needed to get bigger and stronger and 4 years at school gave him that time. Talked about the players he played with. It was never a rebuild but a reload, every year. Talked about “The Michigan”. He was on the ice when it happened. Talked about being drafted by the New Jersey Devils. Talked about him getting drafted right on the nose where Bobby Mac had him going. Talked about the Devils development system at the time. Admits he may have been a little impatient with how they brought him along. His time in the minors was good for his development in hindsight. Talked about meeting Willie Mitchell. Talked about the story of him getting called up to his first NHL game. Talked about his first year with the Canucks. Talked about playing on the West Coast Express. Talked about playing with Todd Bertuzzi. He was the best power forward in the game. A total package. When he played a bruising, finishing his checks style, he created room. They all thought the game very similarly. At the same time, they all brought something different. Talked about what would have been had they gotten past the Minnesota Wild in 03. Talked about the Bertuzzi - Moore incident. Says he looks back and it was the perfect storm. If it was a close game, none of this happens. Nothing was meant to happen the way it did. It was horrendous for everyone. Talked about his final year with the Canucks. BMo really believed that he would retire a Canuck. Didn’t end up that way. Talked about how the deal with Anaheim came together. Had a tough year that year. Says it was the first time he dreaded going to the rink. Still thought he was coming back to Vancouver for 10-11. Told the story about training camp. Was totally blindsided by not making the team after coming in on a PTO. Said he never got a call from from Gillis or Gilman. Got a call from Henning. Said they wanted to get younger and bigger. Was pissed off. Knew the team had a legit chance to win and couple be used as a complimentary piece. It’s over with now. Flames gave him a call. The next day, he signed in CAL. Talked about Reel West Coast. Wants to show off the adventure that fishing is. Not only reeling in the fish but the culture, the scenery. He has been all over the place. It’s been a great success. Talked about who the better fisherman between him and Willie Mitchell.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A concerned CKNW listener sent us a series of photos they snapped this weekend. The road on the way to Pitt Lake, north of Pitt Meadows, was lined with cars. The parking lot to the park is closed to deter visits...but photos show people opted to park on the side of the road instead - bumper to bumper.  Niki Reitmayer spoke to the Mayor of Pitt Meadows, Bill Dingwall, who said - trails are still open; and as long as you aren't crowding together with strangers, there doesn't seem to be any harm in going for a stroll.
