Since that time, in part due to C-3's leadership in education, advocacy, and empowerment, a plethora of organizations have developed throughout San Diego County. These organizations specifically focus on promoting progressive values in architecture, urban design, land-use governance, natural resource management, sustainable economic development, climate change resilience, and social justice. As the field of allies has grown, C-3's role has evolved to provide a platform that promotes creating civic community. How are laws being implemented at the federal level and state levels, and even county levels? How do they impact you or your business? Why is it that one town has a vaccine mandate and the next town just ten minutes away has no vaccine requirements to dine or enter a store? Why do some kids need to wear masks at school and not in other schools even within the same state? What was the federal vaccine mandate case about that went in front of the United States Supreme Court, what was the ruling, and how does that effect US citizens? These are many of the areas we discuss in the episode to alleviate confusion regarding the differences in policies across the United States. *This interview was recorded on February 17, 2022 and released on March 9, 2022. Gina Champion-Cain was sentenced to serve 15-years in a federal prison for running the scheme for about 7-years. She defrauded over $372 million from more than 490 investors. Even though our firm's average client as $250k or more, we still take the time to inform those who are working toward this goal. And not only that, protect those that have those assets from running towards the next get rich quick scheme. Because we see clients who come to us and say “Hey A.B. I'll be retiring in a few years and I have about $500,000. And a friend of mine said there is a business where I can double my money in 3 years…”So before you turn your back on your traditional financial planner for bigger returns, take listen to this.“SAN DIEGO WOMAN SENTENCED FOR NEARLY $400M Ponzi Scheme”The article by the Associated Press reads, that A San Diego Business woman whose Ponzi scheme bilked hundreds of people out of nearly $400 million was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Here are a quote by the judge, “This went on for seven years. This wasn't just strangers hoping to get rich, This is a level of deceit and betrayal I wasn't fully aware of”Gina Champion-Cain was behind this betrayal. She encouraged friends and families to invest in a business- American National Investments- that supposedly made high-interest loans to businesses seeking California liquor licenses. Now keep this in mind. She did have a legitimate Patio restaurant style business. I think she even had rental property.Cheap plug. But earlier today I just spoke about leverage and the dangers and benefits of using it, to acquire more profit. But just as you can make more on leverage, you can also lose more. She was leveraging her debt by using other peoples money, HOPING that the success of her business would one day pay back the investors that initially trusted her.So was it bad investment choices? Maybe. But the money was going to fuel her IMAGE. And that is something I want to tell my followers. Your image and who you think you want to be, can be detrimental to your actual finances.

On this episode of Unlocking Human Potential, San Diego Business and Life Coach Greg Clowminzer talks about acquiring a taste for reflection. ∙What happens for people when they become reflective? ∙ Why do some people have a hard time with reflection? It's an important topic, with what's currently going on in the world where many people have been asked to stay home. And, for a lot of people, they've really gotten a lot of benefit and value out of this time of reflection. Yet there's also been people that have really struggled with that. And so I want to talk a little bit about what happen for people when they're reflective. And, what I'd like to invite anyone listening to this to take a reflective stance and to practice reflective listening. Don't get hung up too much on anything that I'm saying, but to listen to it in a reflective way. So what happens for people when they're reflective is that things tend to slow down for them. So what happens for people when they are reflecting is it's actually really good for their system. It lets people's nervous systems relax. It helps them rejuvenate. Keeping an open mind can be difficult for anyone yet sometimes even more so for people in transition. Need some help breaking free of some negative thoughts? Negative thoughts prevent people from accessing their resilience, natural momentum and from taking positive actions. Working with a coach is a powerful and proactive way to accelerate learning, move through resistance, and gain clarity about the situation. Your coach can help you open your mind to the possibilities of new opportunities, knowledge, and could even help bring greater fulfillment and happiness to your life. Would you like to work with me?
