Clement Pang, cofounder of Lirvana Labs and Jeremy Au explored: 1. Google Engineer to $400M Exit Clement detailed his journey from a computer science graduate at Rice University in 2004 to starting at Google during its IPO phase and later GLMX in 2007 to build a financial trading platform as a founding engineer. In 2012, he co-founded Wayfront, an observability SaaS company that filled a gap in system monitoring. Early customers included Workday, Yammer, and Lyft, and the platform eventually scaled to serve companies like Reddit and DoorDash. Wayfront's acquisition by VMware in 2017 for $400 million provided Clement with invaluable lessons about scaling cross-functional teams and handling millions of data points per second. He emphasized minimizing dependency on external factors, a lesson learned from GLMX's reliance on interest rates, and aligning teams with a clear vision—a skill he honed while managing 2,000 engineers at VMware. 2. “Diamond Age” Education AI: Drawing inspiration from Neil Stephenson's The Diamond Age, Clement envisions AI as a tool to democratize education and approximate human tutors. In 2021, Clement co-founded Livano Labs with his sister to transform early childhood education using generative AI. Their app, Yeti Confetti Kids, launched in 2022, targets children aged 3 to 9, teaching math, English, and social-emotional skills. AI designs personalized learning experiences instead of relying on pre-set algorithms. Feedback loops enabled the AI to improve its outputs by analyzing real-world usage data. He emphasized curriculum alignment for classroom settings, where AI must adhere to structured learning goals. 3. Gen Z Future: Clement reflected on how tools like ChatGPT are changing interpersonal communication, particularly for Gen Z. He drew parallels to the introduction of calculators in education, noting how technological tools shift norms and practices. He discussed AI's role as a sounding board for personal and professional problem-solving, encouraging users to engage critically with its outputs while leveraging its strengths. They also discussed lessons from Clement's experiences managing cross-functional teams during Wayfront's rapid growth, how decreasing costs are enabling scalable applications like Yeti Confetti Kids, and the role of AI in enhancing collaboration and decision-making. === Clement Pang is a serial entrepreneur (400MM in exits) and current co-founder and co-CEO of Lirvana Labs, a startup that created an AI Learning Companion to teach children the critical literacy and reasoning skills that change lives and destinies. With over 17 years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and leadership, Clement is passionate about building purposeful products that leverage the power of AI and data to solve real-world problems and improve human well-being. === Watch, listen or read the full insight at www.bravesea.com/blog/ google-engineer-to-400M-exit Nonton, dengar atau baca wawasan lengkapnya di www.bravesea.com/blog/ google-engineer-to-400M-exit 观看、收听或阅读全文,请访问 www.bravesea.com/blog/ google-engineer-to-400M-exit Xem, nghe hoặc đọc toàn bộ thông tin chi tiết tại www.bravesea.com/blog/ google-engineer-to-400M-exit Get transcripts, startup resources & community discussions at www.bravesea.com WhatsApp: https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VakR55X6BIElUEvkN02e TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jeremyau Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jeremyauz Twitter: https://twitter.com/jeremyau LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/bravesea Spotify English: https://open.spotify.com/show/4TnqkaWpTT181lMA8xNu0T Bahasa Indonesia: https://open.spotify.com/show/2Vs8t6qPo0eFb4o6zOmiVZ Chinese: https://open.spotify.com/show/20AGbzHhzFDWyRTbHTVDJR Vietnamese: https://open.spotify.com/show/0yqd3Jj0I19NhN0h8lWrK1 YouTube English: https://www.youtube.com/@JeremyAu?sub_confirmation=1

Sorry about the delay. I am working on a Zelle book and it has been hard to record. Ironically my first topic is about Zelle. WCVB in Boston had a story about a local man who was attacked by cyber criminals who commandeered his online banking to send themselves $3000 via Zelle from his online banking despite his texts not authorizing the transaction. Ben Simmoneau, the reporter, got the money back for this man and had a nuanced point about Reg E, which is supposed to protect customers from fraud. Bank of America of course did nothing UNTIL the news story came out...like always. Plus I talk about BofA Earnings, and how a $400MM amount was set aside to take care of 2 settlements. First one was something we talked about. $225MM fine for Unemployment issues. The other $200MM? For improper use of personal devices. I discuss the grey area that bankers have with customers info and talking amongst themselves. During WFH in 2020 with COVID sending people home to work, a lot likely happened to warrant this potential fine, which I believe ended up causing people to go back into the office more than anything else that was going on. Plus, I discuss the direction of my BofA book in light of recent events that happened in my life! Ron Hatton figured it all out. Hear his story first hand and you will see why the big boys didn't like him. He sacrificed it all for the people. A hero in his own right. Watch my original 2018 interview where he tells his story. It's amazing. Original show description: Ron Hatton joins the program to explain how the Automakers purposely decrease gas mileage and cause your engine to run much less efficiently on purpose. He learned this disturbing fact after spending years researching ways to increase performance and efficiency. His years of research has led him to create Gadgetman, a device that gives on average 37% efficiency and works on virtually every make and model on the market. His invention led to very interesting conversations with both Ford and GM as they attempted to buy and shelf his product. He also had interesting problems with the patent office as he explains. Learn more about Ron's 3 most effective products to save you serious money on gas, now available as one package: Gadgetman Groove's Most Effective 3 Product Package Please help us fight for Freedom of Speech, consider donating @ givesendgo.com/DefendingFreeSpeech Important Proven Solutions to Keep from Getting Sick Even if you Received the mRNA Shot   MUSIC CREDITS: "Beautiful Piano" by Jason Donnelly, licensed for broad internet media use, including video and audio       See video on Bastyon | Bitchute | Rumble | Odysee | Freedom.Social | SarahWestall.tv       Ron Hatton Biography: Ron Hatton, better known as “Gadgetman” is the developer of the technology now known as “The Gadgetman Groove”, a new approach to the old problem of fuel efficiency in gasoline engines. From his roots as a Kentucky Hillbilly, he learned to find solutions to problems when they presented themselves. This led to his eventual mastery of the gasoline engine, and to his serving more than 3,000 people with his discovery in the nine years since it was born. Gifted with diagnostics and a unique approach to helping people, his attitude is one of genuine service to others. With his skill, he has helped thousands of people achieve legendary levels of fuel economy, having doubled the mileage on approximately 1,000 vehicles. Mr. Hatton was absolutely dedicated to seeing his technology released to The People, and has been the brunt of many standard suppression tactics. Refusing offers of as much as $400MM to favor the delivery of The Groove to his brothers and sisters across the planet, he has exported the technology to over 44 countries, and taught people in 19 countries how to duplicate his results. Ron Hatton lived in Lake County, Illinois, where he conducted most of his business online. You can still visit Gadgetman where one can find thousands of positive reports on not only the technology, but on him as a person and businessman. Ron Hatton will be missed by all who new him!

This Dyson 3 in one tower unit, purify's the air, heats, and emits cool air.   Comes in white or silver.   Prices seem to vary quite a lot, when I purchased mine they were about $750  Australian for the second two.   When setting the unit up, take it out of the box, install the Hepa filters in both sides of the base, [plug in to wall outlet, stick remote on top face down to attach. Note - don't lift or move the Dyson via the top part of the fan unit, even though it looks tempging.   The unit is about 1 metre high, about 400MM in diameter at the base, and weighs about 5KG.   The base contains the Hepa filters, one on each side, and are easy to remove and replace by releasing the latch's on either side of the base.   On one side of the base at the top, is a round largish on/off button (also used to Bluetooth pair the unit) as well as a small LCD screen showing air quality for example.   On the opposite side to the on/off button, but at the bottom of the base is where the 1.5 meter    power chord connects.   The main fan part of the unit which sits on top of the base, is a tall oval shape, with the air coming in the back and out through the front edge of the oval sides. This air direction can be reversed. There are no blades at all.   The oval shape fan unit can rotate 350 degrees.   The base can be tilted forward/back to adjust air flow direction down, forward or up.   The remote control has physical buttons, and magnetically  connects to the top of the oval shaped fan unit.   Note - whilst the oval shaped part of the unit is open, the manual advises strongly when moving the unit, do not treat the oval area has a handle, but pick up the whole unit from the base to move it, otherwise the movement mechanism to the base may be damaged.   The unit can be controlled from the Dyson Link app on iOS or Android, and via the Amazon Echo or via Siri shortcuts.   Connecting the fan to the Dyson link app was very straight forward, and pairing when instructed was to simply hold the iPhone near the on/off button and press to initiate pairing.   Overall the Dyson Link app is accessible.   When using the Dyson from Alexa, you need to enable the skill and login with your Dyson account via the skill to link it up.   The Dyson link app works well with Voiceover on the iPhone, allowing all functions to be accessed including temperature control, fan speed, cool or heat, rotation, air purification stats etc.   The Dyson skill works well, and allows control over temperature, fan speed, hot hot or cool, and how much rotating you want the fan to do.   With the app, you can set up your current location to get current weather info, and you can also name the unit, which comes in handy if you have more than one.   Both the app and skill allow the use of multiple fans to be switched between. In the app, you select the fan via the App Menu and on the skill, each fan is numbered, and you use that number to select the fan you wish to use.   When the Hepa filter needs replacing, there is a notification. You can also check the status of the filters at any time as this info is displayed within the Dyson Link app.   Having fans in different rooms, means I can custom set fan functions for those rooms.   Most of the time, I use the “Ask Dyson” function with Alexa to change settings on all of the fans.   Well worth the price for the functionality I receive..

Julie Lam is an expert passive investor and capital raiser. Starting her real estate career in 2009, she discovered its power early on after investing in several local deals. It wasn't until she began investing in passive deals that this drove her commitment to helping others invest in cash-flowing real estate without being a landlord. So, back in 2017, she and her partner co-founded their company Goodegg Investments to educate investors about these types of opportunities. Since then, they have co-syndicated over 2,200 multifamily units and 1,000 self-storage units, worth over $400MM.   In this episode, we dive into how she started down the path as a fundraiser, what she looks for in a deal, and how she works with syndicators to get deals done. Additionally, she shares how partnering made all the difference in helping their investors build returns while helping them achieve financial freedom.
