Origin is one movie where it turned out better then we were expecting but it still fell short of what we were hoping for. But for a post-apocalyptic world destroyed by genetically modified forest on a moon, you really expect too much it was a nice change of pace from the normal. One of the biggest things that we found funny was that Agito for about half the time was yelling out Toola all the while being enhanced from the tree people of the forest so that he can take a cannon shot right to the face. Story: In einer finsteren Zukunft liegt die Hoffnung der Menschheit in den Händen zweier Kinder. Alle Reisen führen zum Ursprung – zurück in die Tiefen der Vergangenheit. 300 Jahre in der Zukunft. Ein fehlgeschlagenes Experiment hat das Ökosystem der Erde komplett aus dem Gleichgewicht geworfen: Der Wald ist zum Leben erwacht und führt nun einen unerbittlichen Krieg gegen die Menschheit. Die Zeiten sind schwierig und der Frieden zerbrechlich. Doch die Vorzeichen ändern sich, als der junge Agito tief unter der Erde das wunderschöne Mädchen Toola findet und weckt, das dort seit der Zeit vor dem verheerenden Experiment in einem künstlichen Tiefschlaf lag. Die beiden freunden sich an und werden unfreiwillig zu Schachfiguren in den Konflikten, die sie umgeben. Als Toola scheinbar von kriegslüsternen Menschen entführt wird, wendet sich Agito an den Wald, der ihm zu ihrer Rettung übermenschliche Superkräfte verleiht. Dabei wird sein Körper verwandelt und sein Haar nimmt eine leuchtend silberne Farbe an. Aber nun muss er sich den Kriegsmaschinen stellen, um zu überleben! Will Toola tatsächlich gerettet werden oder hat sie eine geheimnisvolle Mission aus der Vergangenheit zu erfüllen? Wird auch Agito seine Superkräfte überstrapazieren und sich – wie einst sein Vater – in einen grauenvollen Mutantenbaum verwandeln?
