This week we're chatting about our favourite robots. Alec likes the robo-ostrich from World of Warcraft. Brendan is fond of the abandoned bots of Hackmud. And John loves little BUD of Grow Home because of his wobbly walking animations. Speaking of bi-pedal machines, Alec has also been stomping around in strategy mech-clicker Battletech. John has been fighting a witch in The Swords of Ditto. While Brendan has foolishly appointed a gambler as his finance minister in Ni No Kuni II. On this week's edition of Extra we get a double shot of the Jersey Shore and the Sons of Anarchy with a little Cybertron thrown in for good measure. In my commentary for this week I talk about the recent death of actor Michael Clarke Duncan and then end of one of my favourite MMORPG's City of Heroes. It's a trip to Seaside Heights with the dvd review of Jersey Shore Season 5 Uncensored (courtesy of Paramount Home Video) as we catch up with the Guido and Meatballs for another summer of crazyness. The shore turns deadly with the blu-ray review of Jersey Shore Shark Attack (courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment) as the summer waters turn deadly. It's time to hit the road with gusto with the dvd review of Sons of Anarchy Season 3 (courtesy of Fox Home Video) and blu-ray review of Sons of Anarachy Season 4 (courtesy of Fox Home Video) as the members of SAMCRO faces internal and external pressures. It's back to the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons with the video game review of Transformers : Fall of Cybertron for the PS3 (courtesy of www.gameaccess.ca). Music for this episode features the songs Jersey Girl by The Plastics, 2000 Bikes by Ace Noface and Falling by Pariah Bom, they can all be found at www.famemusic.com. Other instrumental music is by the band Mr. Burns (www.mrburnsmusic.com). As always your comments and suggestions are welcome.
