Volgens Dongelmans is een groot deel van de freelancers in de zorg juist klaar met de slechte arbeidsvoorwaarden die door werkgevers worden aangeboden. Zelf maakte hij daarom een tijdje terug ook de overstap naar het freelance werk. Volgens Dongelmans kun je al zzp'er veel beter bepalen hoe je werk en privé in balans houdt, welk salaris het beste past bij de arbeid en ben je niet afhankelijk van allerlei onnodige regels. Van Uum ziet als directeur van VGN wel degelijk een belangrijk rol voor freelancers in de zorg, bij piekdrukte en bij specifieke zorg. Volgens hem zijn zorgorganisaties op zoek naar een goed aanbod om freelance zorgpersoneel weer werk te bieden in dienst. EPISODE 245It wasn't a difficult task to upend last week's debacle. We tried, but you'll have to be the judge to see if we made up the shitty show a week ago.Despite not having a lot of "Golf News," we still had some things to discuss. The Golf Stop is a new Simulator Lounge in Henderson (West Henderson, along the St Rose Corridor, to be exact) that is opening up in a few weeks, and Matt got a sneak peek at the inside of the new facility.https://thegolfstop.com/LIV Golf made a small sampling of a news story when their appeal for OWGR points was shot down again, which left us questioning if they'll ever abandon the escapade and focus on making their events more relevant or continue trying to make it happen.https://www.livgolf.com/ Joe finally ended his month-long hiatus of not playing Golf as Jeremy, Dan, and he played out at Boulder Creek Golf Club on Sunday. As for me, well, I'm "taking a break" from Golf as some family was in town and didn't allow me to get out on the course.We did chat a little about the weird FedEx Fall point allocation process and gave a rundown of the "The Next 10," which is the end goal for guys playing in these seven events. Much to our surprise, there has not been a lot of movement in the standings.Jeremy questioned Joe about his desire to play a persimmons driver, and his response came directly from the pages of the Soul Golf Bible. The VGN has two events over the next two weeks. Our King of the Green IV contest is out at Angel Park, and then the regular season's final event takes place at Las Vegas National. Episode 206My goodness, a LOT is going on in the golfing world. The WMPO wrapped up on Sunday with the new number-one player in the world, Mr. Scottie Scheffler getting the W. For the first Dedicated/Elevated event, it was pretty good. The Waste(d) crowd always adds a little spice to the event, so this upcoming weekend's tourney at Riviera will, we think, be more telling of how these new tourneys will do going forward. Tiger Woods isn't going to hurt the ratings for the Genesis, that's for sure. During last week's tourney, he announced he would be teeing it up in LA. This will be his first Tour event since The Open.  The highly anticipated Netflix show Full Swing hits the streaming service today! It looks like we are all going to binge as much as possible, and we'll decide how to present the overview of the episodes in the coming weeks. The "Big Game" also took place on Sunday, and we had some things to say about that. Matt Gontarek gave us the weekend golf forecast with a special shoutout to the VGN's first event, which takes place Saturday at Rhodes Ranch. EPISODE 69 Shout out to Jimmy Tropicana, i.e., Mr 69 For this week's episode, the main focus is our VGN Match we had at Revere. We're not quite back to a fully structured show. The move to the Breakfast Ball Custom Shop was a little challenging, and I was more concerned with audio quality than content. But after editing this episode, I think we'll be good to go moving forward. At least until the second week of January. There’s no “official” PGA Tour event that involves FedEx Cup points, so no locks this week. Be sure to watch some of the Women’s US Open and all the Euro Tour finals. Episode 67 This week's episode was a fun one! We had another in-studio guest. Carll, a fellow VGN'r, joined us for the show and during the Vegas segment, we chatted some golf and went over the upcoming Stableford event at The Revere Golf Club.
