Additionally, they question how Colts fans can trust Chris Ballard to build around Anthony Richardson. (27:11-48:09) – Nestor Aparicio of Baltimore Positive joins Jake and Jimmy on Query & Company to highlight if Ravens fans have gotten over the Colts moving from Baltimore to Indianapolis, breaks down from what he's seen Lamar Jackson in this new offense under Todd Monken, accesses how the team will look considering the injuries they are dealing with this early in the season, and tries to predict which players Baltimore could get back this week. (48:09-48:39) – Jake wraps up the first hour of the show by previewing what's to come in hour number two. (48:39-1:10:20) – As the second hour of the show begins, the Colts are working their way on the practice field without three important pieces. Additionally, there was a report that the possible tropical storm this weekend could impact the Colts/Ravens game. Jake and Jimmy also discuss the rumors surrounding Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift dating. (1:10:20-1:29:55) – Tony East of Sports Illustrated and Locked On Pacers joins Query & Company to give his opinion on the Buddy Hield situation that the Pacers are in right now, ranks which players are most important to the long term success of the franchise, explains what he would want from a team in a potential Hield trade, and even chat a little bit about Taylor Swift. (1:29:55-1:31:25) – The one o'clock hour concludes with Jimmy explaining where “Zipps” come from with Akron taking on Indiana this weekend. (1:31:25-1:36:45) – With Deion Sanders excelling at Colorado, Jake asks Jimmy and producer Eddie Garrison for their thoughts on who the next Deion Sanders could be. Additionally, they start previewing the Colts game on Sunday where they explain what they want to see from Gardner Minshew if Anthony Richardson doesn't clear concussion protocol. (26:46-38:31) – With Anthony Richardson questionable for Sunday, Jake and Jimmy explain why they want to see Richardson play against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend. Their reasoning is because of the type of quarterback play the Colts have had since Andrew Luck's retirement. (38:31-41:33) – Jake and Jimmy wrap up the first hour with Jake sharing a story regarding his girlfriend taking a huge luggage bag for a two-day trip. (41:33-1:04:05) – The NFL's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Allen Sills, joins Query & Company to explain how a player enters the protocol, the two different categories a player can enter when it comes to being concussed, what happens when a player is working their way back from a concussion, how they determine if a player tries to fake their way through the baseline test, and shares his medical expertise about the hot topic of playing on grass compared to turf. (1:04:05-1:22:51) – NFL Network and IU Football radio analyst, Rhett Lewis, reveals how many one-loss teams he could see in the College Football Playoff on Query & Company with Jake and Jimmy. Additionally, Rhett tries to decipher if the Bengals are the expected playoff team that flops this season, shares his assessment on what he's seen from Anthony Richardson, and believes that the wide receivers for the Colts have the talent to have an explosive offense. (1:22:51-1:25:25) – The one o'clock hour concludes with Jimmy explaining where “Zipps” come from with Akron taking on Indiana this weekend. (1:25:25-1:51:54) – Colts beat reporter, Joel Erickson, of the Indianapolis Star joins the program to highlight the important of having a Gardner Minshew on the roster, evaluates where Richardson ranks in terms of NFL quarterbacks in getting the ball out of his hands, accesses which area of the team has surprised him the most through two weeks, and explains why he's looking forward to seeing how the offensive line holds up on Sunday. (1:51:54-2:00:35) – Jake makes Jimmy and Eddie fact check Jake on the Jeffrey Dahmer story that he told Joel to end their conversation the previous segment. After doing so, they transition back to the Colts by discussing the corner back play and questioning when they will see JuJu Brents suit up. Hello shredders! At this point, we almost all know Mathie under his Instagram tag: @deythos. Heavy fixed-gear rider with more tricks under his belt than frames between his legs. Mathie has been pushing the fixed-gear freestyle scene for years and organizing events all around berlin under the name Fixed Gear Berlin. (@fxd.bln). Today was a special interview since Rob and I, know Mathie very well, and to be completely honest, it is hard to ask normal questions that sound obvious to all of us but not to our listeners. Hope you guys enjoy this episode and here are the few links to complete those show notes. Comedian Nathan Evangelista talks about his passion for food, friends and wings! We had Golden Medium wings from Zipps in Phoenix but Nathan took me on a journey of all of the amazing food he enjoyed on his recent epic road trip. We spend some time on bourbon-based sauces and Nathan treats us to a few of his wing parody songs! I laughed, I cried and I ate. Check out Nathan performing in his sketch group: Hot Phoenix Knights.
Om 21.00 uur is het bij 40UP Radio tijd voor de Train To Nowhere met Vic van de Reijt en Frits Jonker. Dit keer staat de muzikale treinreis geheel in het teken van Dure Plaatjes van o.a. Pink Floyd, Jacqueline Taïeb, The Zipps, The Skywalkers & Charlie & His Orchestra.

We sat down with local filmmaker Cassidy Polling for some Zipps Golden Medium wings. We talked about her upcoming documentary: Tipless, a look at the tipless restaurant movement in the United States. Cassidy shares an epic wing story about a time when she owned all the dudes in a wing contest and I pitch Cassidy on all my screenplay ideas. Check out flow_in_the_dark_production on Instagram and www.indiegogo.com/projects/tipless to support the documentary!
In this episode of the Pursuit of the Perfect Race, I talk with my friend Rebecca McKee. We talk about her recent age group win at IRONMAN© Arizona. You’ll notice we both sound under the weather, at the time of the interview we both were kind of sick to be honest. I’m still getting over a cough and still sound nasally. But, the show must go on. Cliff English works with Rebecca to have a superior performance at Arizona and with Kona still in the recent rear view mirror, this is a very delicate balance of recovery, mental time off, nutrition, and hard intensity. There were a few issues that the race venue has and I’d like to point out from an athlete safety stand point. Pay attention to this as you listen. I conclude my journey through the IRONMAN© World Championship sponsored by Amazon with my friend, coach, and wonderful person Rebecca McKee. Rebecca came on earlier this year and we dove into many aspects of her training and mindset going into this race. She is the coach of the talented athlete Tom Deakins who completed the Fire & Ice 250K race in Iceland. In this episode we talk about how anxiety and stress impacted her on race day and even the week of the race. Changing kits days prior to the race should not be the norm, but there were a few situations where it is suggested. The Jelly Fish in Kona this year were furious and we discuss what happened to her and how this affected her going into the race. Her bike strategy is defiantly unique and with her confidence level and knowing the Queen K, she uses this to her advantage. Thank you very much Rebecca for coming back on, sharing your knowledge, time, and energy with me. In this episode of the Pursuit of the Perfect Race, I talk with my friend Rebecca McKee about her race in South Africa at the 70.3 World Championship! This is an amazing race in itself and she shares her journey of getting there, what it was like and much more. The best part of all the race is the fact that she knows how to dig deep and push through a great amount of physical and mental pain. She shares her knowledge as a coach and what she may do different next time. Thanks for coming back on the show Rebecca, I look forward to catching up after Kona!-Enjoy the show. I continue the IRONMAN© Chattanooga 70.3 series with a friend I met on course prior to the start of the race. He talks about first how he is just truly grateful to even compete after a very interesting day in 2013 at IRONMAN© Cozumel. After that race, his entire perspective on racing and training morphed into a more humble and safety oriented way of doing things. He talks about his training going into the race with the help of his coach. Bret mentions how he is a member of BASE Performance and uses their products to train and race with. He will be recovering shortly and then ramping back up for IRONMAN© Louisville later this year in October. -Enjoy the show. Could Zipp possibly be the worst boyfriend out there? Well, according to his ex-girlfriend Ashley, he is! Recorded in lovely Colorado Springs, Colorado, enjoy as Ashley answers questions from Bob regarding her romantic past with Zipp. They discuss how many Zipps it would take to sexually satisfy her, a romantic visit to the bat bridge in Austin, why Ashley looks like the princess from Shrek when she got turned into an ogre, and Zipp’s (supposed) favorite music video. Happy New Year! This week Andy & David talk about a restaurant Andy Liked and 2 that David didn't. Andy takes us to Amedeo's in Raleigh, NC, an institution near NC State where they have some of the best blue cheese dressing EVER! Then David stops in at Zipps in Scottsdale, AZ for some bad service and a good burger. And then David heads over to Cheddar's for a bad experience all around. Andy is disappointed to find out that Cheddar's is not an ALL CHEESE restaurant, and be sure and enjoy the tale of Andy's NYE as he fights for his life against a Kidney Stone. It is a good time, we promise. Enjoy!
