Myth #1: Just push through it. Myth #2: Wait for inspiration to strike. Myth #3: You're just lazy. But the truth is...if you're feeling frustrated and stuck in a cycle of procrastination, then you are not alone! Perhaps you've been trying to force yourself to stay motivated through sheer willpower, only to find yourself feeling depleted and demotivated. Instead of seeing progress and accomplishments, you may be experiencing a lack of motivation and a sense of failure. Ask open-ended questions: Start your questions with how, what, or why to encourage the other person to provide more detailed answers. If the conversation has reached a natural end, it's okay to say goodbye and move on.
