In this passage Jesus was speaking to His disciples to help them understand a profound reality: He is the only door through which people can find salvation and have access to God. Not everybody believes that to be true. Not then, when he spoke those words, and not now. Even some who see Jesus as a good teacher and miracle worker stop short of saying that He is the Only Way. Even some Christ-followers can find it awkward to stand on this truth. Jesus is both INCLUSIVE and EXCLUSIVE. He loves everybody… died for the sins of everybody AND he is the Only way for anybody to have access to God. That's what the Bible teaches. The tension is real. In other words, to gain access to God, he has to enter through Jesus. To be saved, a person must believe in Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:15-26An Approved Worker15Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. 16Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior. 17This kind of talk spreads like cancer, as in the case of Hymenaeus and Philetus. 18They have left the path of truth, claiming that the resurrection of the dead has already occurred; in this way, they have turned some people away from the faith.19But God's truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and “All who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil.”20In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. 21If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.22Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.23Again I say, don't get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. 24A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. 25Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will learn the truth. 26Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil's trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.Music Ascension by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonMusic promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/Creative Commons CC BY 4.0https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Magic Lights by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonMusic promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/Creative Commons CC BY 4.0https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

NASB 1977 ►► Similitudes, Instructions 1These also are proverbs of Solomon which the men of Hezekiah, king of Judah, transcribed. 2It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. 3As the heavens for height and the earth for depth, So the heart of kings is unsearchable. 4Take away the dross from the silver, And there comes out a vessel for the smith; 5Take away the wicked from before the king, And his throne will be established in righteousness. 6Do not claim honor in the presence of the king, And do not stand in the place of great men; 7For it is better that it be said to you, “Come up here,” Than that you should be put lower in the presence of the prince, Whom your eyes have seen. 8Do not go out hastily to argue your case; Otherwise, what will you do in the end, When your neighbor puts you to shame? 9Argue your case with your neighbor, And do not reveal the secret of another, 10Lest he who hears it reproach you, And the evil report about you not pass away. 11Like apples of gold in settings of silver Is a word spoken in right circumstances. 12Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold Is a wise reprover to a listening ear. 13Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest Is a faithful messenger to those who send him, For he refreshes the soul of his masters. 14Like clouds and wind without rain Is a man who boasts of his gifts falsely. 15By forbearance a ruler may be persuaded, And a soft tongue breaks the bone. 16Have you found honey? Eat only what you need, Lest you have it in excess and vomit it. 17Let your foot rarely be in your neighbor's house, Lest he become weary of you and hate you. 18Like a club and a sword and a sharp arrow Is a man who bears false witness against his neighbor. 19Like a bad tooth and an unsteady foot Is confidence in a faithless man in time of trouble. 20Like one who takes off a garment on a cold day, or like vinegar on soda, Is he who sings songs to a troubled heart. 21If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; 22For you will heap burning coals on his head, And the LORD will reward you. 23The north wind brings forth rain, And a backbiting tongue, an angry countenance. 24It is better to live in a corner of the roof Than in a house shared with a contentious woman. 25Like cold water to a weary soul, So is good news from a distant land. 26Like a trampled spring and a polluted well Is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked. 27It is not good to eat much honey, Nor is it glory to search out one's own glory. 28Like a city that is broken into and without walls Is a man who has no control over his spirit. #HEAVENWIDE #EARTHWIDE #WORLDWIDE #ALLOWEDONALLALGORITHMS #PROVERBSOFSOLOMON25PRODBYVINTAGMANBEATSBYAFTER1PASSAGEJULY192021 #A1EXODUS --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/a1-exodus1/message

Then we delve into our love for Daniel Kaluuya and Damson Idris, Twitter Memes, “femininity” vs “masculinity”, things that give us the ick and after reluctantly reading the MAD responses to Oloni's thread, we speak about men's personal hygiene - or lack thereof. Have you not yet achieved the success (or results) that you want and deserve? Listen to this episode as Tyler and I discussed about the secret formula to be a successful brand and the biggest mistake a businessperson can make. Learn about building customer's trust, correct decision-making, how to generate revenues and what approach you make to stay relevant.Episode TimelineWhat is an outbound sale and how it drives your business?05:21 Outbound sale can be defined as, me going out and getting in front of somebody, and trying to get their attention, build trust as quickly as I possibly can, and eventually turn that person into a client.7:38An outbound prospect is fantastic if you are selling a high-ticket service. That's exactly where I would truly invest and that is where we are approaching next. The F.I.R.E Formula9:12The fire formula is a methodology that I put together based on what really worked in advertising and marketing. FIRE stands for Frequency, Intimacy, Relevancy, and Efficiency. Together, these components are the most simplified version of an effective marketing strategy.10:41Frequency is essentially being there and knowing how often do you need to be in front of somebody and how consistent you should be.11:58Intimacy is to be authentic. This is boiled down into three T's namely, Transparency, Transformation and Tribe. Be transparent, don't fake and be human. Lead your clients with transformation and not manipulation. Build your brand to build your tribe.14:42Relevancy is how you offer your message to your audience. Making sure that you are talking to the right person and being in a level of trust with them.19:15Efficiency is to understand what you are great at. This is boiled down into three D's namely, Delegation, Direction and Duplication. Where, delegation is where you generate your revenue, direction is to make sure you meet the outcome and the audience you want to reach and duplication is to do the tactics that has already been proven to work.21:21If you are frequent and intimate, you are creating the perfect connection. If you are intimate and relevant, you are attracting the perfect client, if you are relevant and efficient, you can charge the perfect price. And if you are frequent and efficient, then you can create the perfect leverage in your business.Key Quotes13:09 – 13:18“It's not intimate, that might be the reason why it is not working for you. It has to be human, in form of marketing.”18:14 – 18:24“This common belief that if I put something out there, as long as I have something to stay relevant, it's better than nothing. That's not always the case.”21:38 – 21:44“When you are doing all these things, we call it the Ignition Effect. Where, it starts a chain reaction of growth for your business.”References:Find Tyler Kemp on LinkedIn| Learn more about the FIRE Formula on RollSocial |Optimize your sales profile on LeadRoll

1 Timothy 6:3-21If someone spreads false teachings and does not agree with sound words (that is, those of our Lord Jesus Christ) and with the teaching that accords with godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing, but has an unhealthy interest in controversies and verbal disputes. This gives rise to envy, dissension, slanders, evil suspicions, and constant bickering by people corrupted in their minds and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a way of making a profit. Now godliness combined with contentment brings great profit. For we have brought nothing into this world and so we cannot take a single thing out either. But if we have food and shelter, we will be satisfied with that. Those who long to be rich, however, stumble into temptation and a trap and many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all evils. Some people in reaching for it have strayed from the faith and stabbed themselves with many pains. But you, as a person dedicated to God, keep away from all that. Instead pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, endurance, and gentleness. Compete well for the faith and lay hold of that eternal life you were called for and made your good confession for in the presence of many witnesses. I charge you before God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who made his good confession before Pontius Pilate, to obey this command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ —whose appearing the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will reveal at the right time. He alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen.Command those who are rich in this world’s goods not to be haughty or to set their hope on riches, which are uncertain, but on God who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment. Tell them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, to be generous givers, sharing with others. In this way they will save up a treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the future and so lay hold of what is truly life.O Timothy, protect what has been entrusted to you. Avoid the profane chatter and absurdities of so-called “knowledge.” By professing it, some have strayed from the faith. Grace be with you all.

The Angles of Lattitude Podcast: Learn from the Successes of the Creatively Self Employed
Back in session 55, Laila and I had the opportunity to pick the brain of Summer Edwards. Outside of Veronica (who was still running her tech company), she was the first entrepreneur I had on the show who we could label as a social entrepreneur. This type of entrepreneur is someone who not only creates a business, but that business could be called a social venture - a business that has a social mission empowering it.Since then, I've met all kinds of social entrepreneurs and they all have one thing in common. They're creating something by themselves or with others that not only affects a large amount of people in a positive way, but is sustainable.Traditionally when many nonprofits start out, they do so thinking that they'll be funded by governmental grants or strictly through donations and fundraising. However, they tend to leave one concept on the table - partnering with companies who care about their cause. In this session, we find out about a company which not only offers a great service through their membership, but has a passion in feeding people around the world. Obviously, they can't do the work themselves, so that's where a nonprofit who is already doing that comes into play. It's a win-win for both organizations. So join me as I speak with one of the founders of LVRG, Cam Martinez, and learn more about his journey as a young entrepreneur and where this great idea came from.Enjoy! SPECIFICALLY, YOU'LL FIND OUT MORE ABOUT: Has Cam always seen himself as running his own business? 10:43What was it about Tai Lopez that restarted his interest in developing his own business? 13:12What kind of barriers did he experience getting started in the business world? 16:06How did Cam start his relationship with his future partner Sylvania in making lvrg.it? 18:46What process did Cam and Sylvania utilize to find the right partner companies? 25:50When did Cam realize that leveraging his network was vital to having success? 29:46Why did Cam and Sylvania specifically partner with the nonprofit that they're working with? 33:49What's Cam looking forward to in the near future? 38:21If he could add a song, a book, and a film to the national curriculum, what would they be? 41:10What message is out there which a disservice to youth? 42:54What is something he believed when he was 18 but doesn't believe today? 44:41What tip does Cam have regarding traveling? 47:02How can someone be a difference maker in their community? 48:41 ITEMS and PEOPLE MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: Cam Online: LVRG, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTubeSession Sponsor: NameCheap - Need help installing Wordpress while keeping your hosting CHEAP?
