She started off as an independent agent and then joined a top team as a buyers agent. In 2008, she combined her love of real estate and operations and began working with multiple agents as an independent admin and transaction coordinator. This helped them gain leverage in their businesses. In 2010, she joined forces with Renée White as her first assistant. On this week's episode of The Rural Woman Podcast™, you'll meet Chelsie Boles. Chelsie is a first-generation female farmer in Michigan, who's been on a health and healing journey for over 10 years. Her and her husband Rob left a very cozy life to start their own 65-acre regenerative farm from scratch. Rob quit his job in the family business and sold most of his ownership shares to invest in property for the farm dream. Chelsie was a middle school art teacher at the time and continued to teach until her second child of 4 was born, to stay home with them and help grow the business. They began their journey because of the myriad of health issues Chelsie had, which lead them to the healing power of food. They had a hard time locating the quality meats they wanted back in 2011 and became passionate about sourcing. After discovering the work of Joel Salatin and The Weston A Price Foundation, they couldn't stop thinking about food and farming and decided to jump in. Currently, they raise pastured poultry for meat and eggs and are working towards adding beef and pork to the farm.
