Our guest today is Reverend Kenn Blanchard. Kenn was once known internationally as the Black Man With A Gun. Before Google and Facebook existed, he played a monumental role in laying the groundwork for national concealed carry, the Heller Decision, and HR 218, the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act. Today, he is a musician and caregiver for his wife. He has a new book called Finding Joy in the Blues available on Amazon. 1) You were our very first guest on GFR, and much has happened in the past ten years since we first met. But, one thing hasn't changed, and that is that you have been Serving others your entire life. From your time in the Military, law enforcement, 2A Advocacy, and now your wife in her time of health needs. What drives you to show up in all of these roles? 2) Your wife is still recovering from a brain tumor. Your retirement years have not worked out the way you planned. Yet, you write a book about joy. Tell us about that. 3) One of the chapters in your book is called “A Preacher and a Rabbi”. In a time when some are trying to sew division based on every conceivable metric – race, class, religion, political ideology, etc – you two found an amazing connection and friendship. What was your common bond? 4) Where does 2A Advocacy fit in your life nowadays? 5) Having already planned for a future that didn't quite work out, how do you now make plans for what is next? 6) How do people follow you and buy your books? Prior Proper Planning Pays Off   Saving money in the shooting sports Update on my wife:  https://youtu.be/gcNlD7EVmZs Not A Sermon     Unless you are wealthy, recreationally shooting is expensive.  The firearm can cost $400-$4500.  Range time for indoor ranges is $15-25 an hour.  Ammunition, targets, and safety equipment vary. If you are on a budget, good with your money or want to save a few dollars here are some tips that will help you do that.  This will be the first in a series, I will provide for you from time to time.  You don't like blowing money do you?  Firearms, pistols in particular are almost impulse buys.  They are advertised by movies, screen heroes and the cool kids wherever they are these days.      Range fees have stayed the same for the most part but there are so many new shooters now that it is now unheard of to have an hour wait to use an indoor range.  Believe it or not, that wasn't the case just a few years ago.    Ammunition increased during the Trump years and hasn't returned to normal.  Your gun food is important.  Back in the day, when firearm tolerances varied and you had to get gunsmiths to “work” out the rough edges and give love to a handgun just so that it was consistent, ammunition was crucial.  Not all guns worked well with all the brands and grades of ammunition available.  It is a little less the case now although you will find out that with practice, there is some ammo that works best for you.  Different loads, bullet weights, etc. in your firearm do different things when you are behind it.  You won't know that from the box or necessarily from the recommendation from your shooting partner.  Depending on your shooting schedule, goals, type of firearm, I suggest you buy your ammo in bulk. I'm talking about 1000 rounds of practice ammo.  And 100 rounds of self-defense stuff.    At the onset, 1000 rounds seems like a lot but if you are shooting a semi-auto handgun that has a ten round magazine because you live in one of THOSE states like I do. And you have three magazine that's 30 rounds.  They sell the good stuff at 25 rds a box typically so you might pay $21-49.00 a box of 25.   Practice ammo- seller & ballot, Winchester, magtech, blazer, Remington, federal     Ear Pro, eye pro and targets,   Invest in a range bag   an Emergency Personal Injury Kit (EPIK)  a rapid-application tourniquet.  eye and ear protection.  a notebook and pen (for recording your rounds fired and perhaps notes on your training and performance)  a cloth for wiping down your firearm and magazines after training.    If you get tired, learn to rest, not quit.Success if being able to continue just one more time after failing or falling. As crappy as things are for you right now, they will be the good old days for your kids, nieces and nephews.Somebody.   This is a little update on the situation.  If you have been following me for the past ten months you know that my wife had a brain tumor removed that incapacitated her. The family has been devastated.  Last Friday, after recovering from being bedridden, and having pneumonia (twice), two blood clots, and fungal meningitis, she had surgery to relieve pressure in her brain.  God clicked the switch and she is talking again.    She's almost 100% back mentally.  She wants to eat and was able to swallow water.  It's amazing and so God!    Make sure you have health benefits. Get long term care insurance. Have someone that will advocate for you if you can't speak.   Visit the sick. Believe and worship God. He is worthy! Thank you for your prayers and friendship.    Thank you for supporting us.  https://gofund.me/a098f55b     Your friend and brother from another mother, Kenn  blackmanwithagun@gmail.com https://blanchardnetwork.com Sponsored by:  https://crossbreedholsters.com

Rebranding the show.  This is episode 1.     Talking this week about my grandmother, celebratory gunfire (don't do it) and Watch Night service in the African American tradition.       After 14 years of podcasting this show, I didn't want it to “podfade” just because I am going through a tough time.  I decided with the support of some of you to “do me” which was my suggestion of changing the show, cancelling some of the others I have and combining them into this one the flag ship podcast.  I will always be the Black Man With A Gun (trademarked), and still be pro-gun.  I am no longer alone in the universe though.  There are a bunch of young guns that never even heard of me spouting stuff on social media.  It's ok.  I had my turn.  Now I seek to continue to motivate, inspire, support and encourage you.  I want this to remain a fun pro-gun variety show like no other.  With your help we will.     The biggest mistake most people will make is believing they have TIME!   Please consider becoming a patron of the show.  Http://patreon.com/blackmanwithagun      Thanking you for being a part of my extended family.  If you want to contribute to the family gofundme thing for my wife.  https://gofund.me/a098f55b      Rev. Here’s three points I got from the John Wick 3 movie : 1.            One of things I pulled out of this action packed movie is that relationships matter.  2.            Blind loyalty hurts.  3.            learn how to operate the firearm you run backwards and forwards, be proficient in clearing malfunctions, how to fix it, everything    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSXc5z9F7Do   I have a Conversation with the best writer on the Black Man With A Gun blog, Dave B. Cole on hunting, being a writer for the Black Man With A Gun and more Gun Rights Alliance - join our list  https://forms.aweber.com/form/54/1271685154.htm   Today, I am looking forward at what I can do for the gun rights movement as a legacy. I want to be remembered for more than just being the OGaka the Black Man with A Gun™.  Here’s what I plan.  I am working with a app developer to create a mobile app that can be a platform directory for organizations like the GOA, USCCA, SAF, NAAGA, 2AO, and others to connect with us.  IT will also have a directory and links to pages from content creators that are really the media for our side.  The bloggers, podcasters, and YouTubers will have their own apps within this app. I am trying to get cutting age tech to protect us from the Bergs that don’t like us. (Bloom and Zucker.)  It’s been a great life so far.  Being involved in the gun rights movement has improved me.  It has taught me to be a better citizen.  It has made me appreciate freedom, history and the sacrifices of others.  Communication is the magic sauce.  Going to try it despite our mistrust of each other.  Going to make it happen despite the need for goo gobs of money.  The power has always been in the people. We are what makes this thing called freedom work. I think I can do this. I’ve worked with just about everyone.  I’ve watched folks come and go.  Like a sentinel, I have held my post.  I have encouraged and discouraged posers as best I could.   I have been an activist in the gun rights community since 1991. Before that I started as a firearms trainer for my government agency.  From that I launched a side business to teach tactics and defense to civilians and security officers.  I was part of the start of the concealed carry movement.  I traveled with the NRA and the Law Enforcement Alliance of America to testify in a handful of states to change their racist policies and laws.  Thus began my journey as the Black Man with A Gun™. I started a national gun club in 1991 to foster the growth of African Americans in the shooting sports.  I published a book in 1999.  I created a website in 2000. I’ve worked behind the scenes to select, qualify and protect people of color that became involved in Supreme Court cases. I’ve worked with the NRA.  I even tried to get a job there.  I’m a life member. I only turned it down because the salary was too low and not close to what they were paying the incumbent. I begged to be a functioning member on the GOA staff and after –way too much back and forth – got a position as the volunteer Urban Affairs guy.  I didn’t do a thing with that.  I resigned.  Too early I guess. I’ve been a voting member on the CCRKBA and done the perfunctory “minority speaker slot” the GRPC but never made the masthead.  I’ve worked with just about all the groups out there.  My hats off to all the brothers and sisters now working with “x” organization. This is my attempt to sew all the pieces together.  If you will support it, join the email list today so I can build a team to make this happen.  We are the Gun Rights Alliance.    M-W tactical on the accessory from Taran Tactical

The Truth about Gun Control Gun control is as old as gun powder itself.  There has always been one side in favor of controlling who can get a gun.  Gun control is great for politicians and the media because it is easy to sell.  It’s about money.  It’s good for corporations and celebrities in need of tax write offs.  Its good for politicians because you can’t offend a mechanical device.  It’s good for organizations because you can look like you are doing something socially correct.  It is good for preacher, and clergy because it sounds like you are socially conscious and aware but not.  Gun control is a billion-dollar industry.  It sells guns.  In the inner city they get the mothers of slain teens to put their tears on display.  Politicians and organizations pimp these grieving women.  Imagine your mother being manipulated and used in the worse time of their lives.  Some of these ladies lost their children early on to the streets.  Their sons were in gangs or the drug trade and their death although tragic was not a surprise.  This month we have the affluent kids of Parkland Florida gladly being exploited and pushed into the spotlight for the cause of gun control.  I suspect they are loving it, many being flown around and funded by millionaires to be on the spotlight.  Using their naiveté, voices and socialist tendencies they are being paraded and funded around the country to champion the cause of gun control.  They are surprised however that no one takes them serious.  They have no idea that every gun control measure that can be instituted has already been tried, implemented, legislated or proposed before.  Gun control is a fail.  It was birthed in racism.  You cannot legislate human behavior.  Evil exist when good people do nothing.  Evil is real.  The heart of man is desperately wicked.   Going to share some thoughts with you here about the mass shootings since 1991.  Remind you to share some compassion.  To think about what you are saying or writing before you release it and to help keep our country united. George Burton Adams said: “There is no such thing as a 'self-made' man. We are made up of thousands of others. Everyone who has ever done a kind deed for us, or spoken one word of encouragement to us, has entered into the make-up of our character and of our thoughts, as well as our success.” Armed Citizens News, Michael J. Woodland on bore sighting, what is it? I have a new project coming, and encouraging the old guys, the OG’s   Crossbreed Holsters dot com and the United States Concealed Carry Assoication present, the black man with a gun show , the show that celebrates Americana, freedom, encourages, inspires, and introduces interesting people, new products from the internationally known Black Man With A Gun, and that’s me, Kenn Blanchard. If you would like to reach me my contact info is on black man with a gun dot com         I have discovered that the best people in my life, listen to this show.   I didn’t go to the SHOT Show because I didn’t have a plan. I could go, spend the money, see folks in the industry that I love but couldn’t motivate myself to do it.   I am trying to do something more than just beg for money and look like I am doing something. I want to really make a difference. I’m older now, don’t like wasting time, yours or mine.   You with me on that?   This show is dedicated to the guys that have survived to sport the gray hair. Fellas, don’t be ashamed, don’t get stressed out about being older, or not looking like you did when you were 25. Going to talk about middle age a little on this show and let you know its better than OK. Its going to be our redemption song. Maybe it’s the Jamaican coffee but I am feeling mellow, so this show is going to stay low key. This show might put some of you 5-11 shorts, tactical vest chest wearing, never been in combat, 3 pt slinging call of duty addicted, adrenaline junkies to sleep but that is alright, this is for the OG’s.   This is for the fathers of adult children, the men that remember who Walter Cronkite was, watched the Jetsons, the Beverly Hillbillies, got a transistor radio for Christmas, remember when the Dick van Dyke show wasn’t a reference to a girl on girl porno flick, saw Johnny Carson on TV, JFK, and the Beatles. Fellas, I was born in the same year as Wesley Snipes, Tom Cruise, Matthew Broderick, Axl Rose, Ralph Fiennes, Demi Moore, Jim Carrey, and Sheryl Crow. The year was 1962. I survived civil rights, school busing, and some stuff that I can’t even speak about. You should be proud to have made it too. I know if you are active on the net, facebook, forums etc, the younger guys rule for the most part and you can feel kinda out of it. I am here to tell you, its all good. We were young once too. If they are fortunate that might make it to our age. It made me think about the movie The Unforgiven and the Shootist, Rooster Cogburn and the movies where the old guys still got it. When I started in security and then law enforcement I was trained with and carried a smith and Wesson model 19. That means I used the fabled speed loaders extensibly. Courses were really static practical pistol courses back then with a lot of time and barricades. I carried a revolver in my travels prior abroad too, I switched to Browning Hi-Power however when I started doing executive personal protection details in Central and Latin America and the Middle East. The coveted trainers were the now gone guys, Charles Taylor, Jeff Cooper and their disciples. Masaad Ayoob was there too, but he was the smarter one. He dealt with the mind more than the macho. He has progressed and kept up with the times unlike many of the old dudes.   It was the age of the .45. You weren’t cool if you carried a 9mm but I usually did because it was easier to obtain 9mm internationally, and made a smaller footprint. Who was the gringo looking for .45 caliber ammunition esse? I trained ivy league types going into hostile environment, I qualified police and security officers for duty. I shared some of my mistakes carrying in countries where it was illegal for a foreigner to be armed. I shared stories of what happens when the feces hits the oscillating device. By the time I got to the Far east, I was using the Glock 17 first generation of course! In the 90’s I opened a business to help security guards qualify for armed duty and the new gun owner be safer that bombed. The guards didn’t want training they just wanted permission to carry so they could get paid higher than the unarmed post. Most hated firearms, didn’t know about gun rights, history or the sports involved.   I’ve actually hit more bad guys when I was driving in the protective details I was on that I have shot people but that is something for another time.   I was checking out the AR-15 world and on the rifle front, I am kinda lacking. I carried an uzi and a HK MP-5 a few times when I wasn’t the advance or on hot seat. I carried an M-16A1 back in corps. All back in the days of wine and roses of course.   Today, I hear the same arguments I did back in 1991 when I started my firearms training company. I think that is why I am so melancholy, been doing this stuff a long time and didn’t win the war.   Still hear folks talking about 9 mm over the .45.   For the record, I agree that the 1911 has its place but your choice for a self-defense side arm should be a newer polymer, double stacked something. We used to say if you need more than two rounds you are in combat and have the wrong firearm anyway. Well, I have since understood that bad guys have evolved and become more tribal. You are likely to have multiple attackers, a mob or a gang and need that spare magazine. Folks don’t stay down when shot. They don’t surrender if you don’t stop them and life in general is just going to suck during and after the incident so get over it, get through it and survive. Everything is not combat though. You can’t live in a Call of Duty condition. So listen up you wanna-bee, mall ninjas, keyboard commandoes, three gun gear nerds, if you decide to get a concealed carry permit, its not a hunting permit on people that piss you off. All threats don’t require lethal force. If you can you can leave, leave. If someone hurts your feelings, insults you wife, live with it. I am saying this because just it just seems to be a rash of stupid people making the news. Too many immature, untrained and unskilled guys out there itching for a gunfight. The only person I know out there teaching you how not to end up on the news, on YouTube, and in jail through necessary judicious use of force curriculum is Massad. I know you bought the firearm, You got the magazines, the pouches, the belts, the pants with the pockets, you got ammo for days, but every day is not combat.

They say there are two things you should never talk about at work: politics and religion. (Unless you work at FoxNews or CNN, I suppose.) There are just certain topics that divide people, start fights, and ultimately cause more problems than they solve. But don't tell that to Kenn Blanchard. Kenn adds race to the political and spiritual mix, and then talks about all three issues all the time. And, remarkably, he does it with great clarity and success. His background is something movies are made of, and his story is one you won't want to miss. After five years in the Marines and some time with the CIA, Kenneth Blanchard, Sr. is now a pastor, professional speaker, new media advocate, broadcaster, author, musician, firearms trainer, and entrepreneur. He's probably best known from his hit podcast called "Black Man With A Gun." SHOW NOTES: 0:18 - The "Black Man with a Gun" is also a Reverend! 0:53 - Kenn describes himself as "The Forrest Gump of Adventure." Learn why. 4:42 - A politician being super-political turned into Kenn's worst interview ever. He describes it as "20 minutes of pain." 8:39 -  When interviewing a person of influence, how do you best balance respecting the person vs. respecting your show and your audience? 10:36 - Tim and Kenn are connected and recording on RINGR. Check it out for free here. 11:22 - Ken's desire to be a "superhero" changed his life forever. He tells us why and how. 13:07 - Learn more about Kenn and check out the podcast, Black Man with a Gun.

Thankful Podcast – Episode 069   We celebrated Thanksgiving here in the United States last week. It is a wonderful time of year when we step back and give thanks for all we have. This week, I would like to share a few things for which I am thankful with the hope that I might help you discover some inspiration. Three years ago, I began my journey to help podcasters refine their art. I was not sure where I was headed. I only knew that I wanted to follow my passion. Podcasting wasn't my original passion. It was architecture. From the time I was 12, I knew I wanted to be an architect. Through middle school and high school, my classes led me down that path. While getting my college degree in architecture, after working two years as a draftsman, I found my way into radio. The architecture degree required a few electives. My younger brother worked at a radio station and also with me as a disc jockey. I thought radio sounded like an entertaining elective. The class was Broadcasting For The Non-Major. The class led me to become the music director of the campus station. After a few months, I had a part-time job at a local radio station. Since I was so close to finishing, I decided to complete my architecture degree. Once complete, I continued to work in radio and pursue my passion. Broadcasting become my life. Architecture and radio are actually quite similar. Both require the ability to be creative within a set of guidelines. Both professions require a combination of creative and analytical skills. After a few years in radio, I discovered my true passion was helping talent refine their craft and content. I fell in love with creating content that captured the imagination of people and created effective calls to action. The world of podcasting is like the new frontier. We are able to create with very few parameters. Along with that freedom comes responsibility. You must set your own rules. That is my passion. Each day, I have the privilege of helping wonderful podcasters hone their craft and create amazing content to reach their goals. For that, I am truly grateful. That is the foundation of this thankful podcast. I didn't get here on my own. There are quite a few people that helped me achieve all that I have. This Thanksgiving, I want to thank those that have helped me. As you continue your journey, you may find some inspiration here as well. This is my thankful podcast.   My Family The support I receive from my wife and two wonderful children is priceless. They encourage me with every step I take. Find inspiration in the ones you love. Let that love and encouragement lead you to great things.   You You are the reason I do this show every week. Knowing that I help you with your content, your art and your passion drives me to create every week. The fact that you give me 30 minutes of your time every week means the world to me. Please know that I am thankful for that gift every time it comes my way.   Dave Jackson When I began down this path, Dave Jackson was the first to reach out to me and offer help. Most of my achievements were partly due to the help Dave provided. Dave runs the School of Podcasting. His knowledge of podcasting and resources have helped me every step of the way. I cannot possibly thank him enough.   Jeff Beals Before I even discovered podcasting would be my path, Jeff Beals was an inspiration. As part of my mastermind group, Jeff was my sounding board. His words and guidance always motivated me. Jeff has a great book called “Selling Saturdays”. He interviewed football coaches regarding recruiting, selling and inspiring. The book contains wonderful stories. No matter if you are selling ideas or widgets, this book will help you achieve.   Rem Lavictoire When I am stuck in a rut, Rem Lavictoire is always there with a few words of inspiration. I'm not sure how he knows. His e-mail shows up in my e-mail box just at the right time. If you have attended New Media Expo or Podcast Movement in 2014, I am sure you have seen Rem. He is usually the first to the microphone after a session with some of the best questions you will ever hear. Rem has given me inspiration and motivation through his friendship. I am grateful for all the support he has provided over the years. Rem has a great podcast call the Sci-Fi Movie Podcast. Find him at www. Sci-FiMoviePodcast.com.   Kenn Blanchard Kenn and I met through Dave Jackson. Kenn Blanchard has a podcast that has really inspired me in my faith and fatherhood. His podcast is called “Black Man With A Gun”. Kenn offers words of wisdom and inspiration every week. His Father's Day show is one of my all-time favorites. Check him out when you can.   A few men have inspired me from afar. Through their teachings, they have inspired, mentored and taught me along this journey. Dan Miller inspired me through his “48 Days” teachings. His podcast and books have motivated me to pursue work that I love. Gary Vaynerchuk and his book “Crush It” showed me the way to structure and achieve all that I have. Brendon Burchard helped me launch Podcast Talent Coach through his teaching in the “Millionaire Messenger”. His book and CDs inspired me to share my knowledge with the world.   This Thanksgiving, these are the people for which I am most thankful. Without you, I would not be able to do this every week. Thank you for being part of my journey. Let me know how I can help you in any way possible. To you, I dedicate this thankful podcast.   I'd love to help you with your podcast. THE POWER OF YOU This week is a little self-reflection.  I'm not sure I'm doing my job with my message and serving you as well as I can.  Is my communication cutting through in the correct way? This past weekend, I attended the New Media Expo (NMX) 2014 in Las Vegas.  I had an incredible time and learned a lot.  The inspiration I receive by attending these conferences is amazing. The only thing more incredible than the inspiration is the friendships.  Mike & Izabela from Music Radio Creative held a meet up at an amazing wine cellar within the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.  We all had an incredible time mingling with other amazing podcasters.  Mike & Izabela held the gathering in a room of the Wine Cellar & Tasting Room at the Rio.  It was like sitting in their living room with couches, chairs and end tables near a bar filled with wine and cheese.  The intimate setting really spawned some great discussions. During the meet up, I had the chance to sit down with Kenn Blanchard from "Black Man With A Gun", Dave Jackson from "School of Podcasting" and Rem Lavictoire from "The Sci-Fi Movie Podcast".  We had a great time sharing stories about our lives and podcasting.  It was a gift. Kenn mentioned to me that he wasn't sure how my podcast would be received.  He said I was so passionate and determined about my style that he felt it might turn some people off.  I loved the feedback.  His words really got me thinking. I stepped back and assessed my message.  Is my message really being communicated they way I hope it is?  That leads us to the podcast this week. My message is all about you.  I never want to tell you how you should do anything.  I want to show you ways it may be done and let you decide.  I want you to be you in a way that only you can do it.  It isn't a prescription.  It should be a thought starter. There are a few things I wholeheartedly believe about any podcast, such as podcasts should be built to attract and grow an audience.  I also believe every podcaster should be their own unique self.  How that happens should be completely up to you. Today, we discuss the power of you.  Many thanks to Kenn Blanchard for showing me the path.  His insights are cherished.  Check out his NMX2014 session with the virtual ticket if you have the chance. Here are the 8 facets of the Power of You. 1. Be yourself Only you can be you Don't simply copy somebody else 2. Stick to your beliefs Be true to yourself Can't consistently be something you're not Hard to fake it without tripping up 3. Tell the truth Honesty fosters relationships 4. Use your personal style To make your show unique, add your personal style Do it in a way that only you can do it 5. Stories define your character Listeners will learn about you with stories Stories breed friendships 6. Have fun People don't simply want info, they want entertainment Much more fun to learn when the content is entertaining 7. Be consistent People know what they like and like what they know They want to know what to expect when they listen  -  Deliver the goods every time 8. Be memorable Own your category  -  When they think of your category, they think of you Don't want them to casually listen then go away Hard to monetize your activities if you are not top-of-mind Most marketing is focused on top-of-mind awareness and a strong call-to-action Call-to-action is powerful when you are the first one that comes to mind This week … Review two of your shows to see if you are being yourself Find one personal story to include in your next podcast Do one thing in a way only you can do it and make it memorable I'd love to help you with your podcast.  E-mail any questions or comments you might have to Coach@PodcastTalentCoach.com. Where is your podcast going in 2014? A goal is a dream with a deadline.  What are you dreams for the next year?  If you don't have a map & destination, you'll only wander.  You'll never get anywhere.  Let's be specific and set some deadlines. What is the one big thing you want to accomplish over the next year?  Develop little steps to get there.  Break the big goal into bite-sized pieces. If you create a weekly show, you only have 52 shows over the next 12 months.  It may sound like a lot.  However, you need to be intentional to reach your goals. What is your call to action within your podcast?  How can we make that call-to-action more effective?  Where are you sending your listener each episode to get more info?  Be specific and write it down. Are you monetizing your podcast?  There are many possibilities, such as books, speaking engagements, seminars, affiliates, products and more.  If you have yet to monetize your podcast, schedule your time to create something powerful.  Be sure to include deadlines. Do you interview guests on your show?  Create a list of guests you'd like to get on the show.  Be brave and reach out to those people.  Let's get them on the show.  Give yourself a goal with a deadline. Are you effectively planning each show before you begin?  Sometimes it is difficult to get motivated to record your show on a regular basis.  Plan ahead.  Download the planning worksheet at www.PodcastTalentCoach.com.  When you lack motivation, revert to plan you've already created. Are you reviewing your show on a regular basis?  To get better, you need to look at game tape.  All great sports teams review tape of previous games.  You should do the same.  Again, get the worksheet at www.PodcastTalentCoach.com.  Finding someone that can help you honestly review your show will help as well. The next year can be huge for you if you plan.  Set deadlines to turn your dreams into goals.  Be sure to find balance in all areas of your life. Take some chances.  Go for the big interview or launch a product.  Dream big.  You might just reach your dreams. I want to thank you for a tremendous 2013.  It has been quite a success for me.  I've launched the podcast to great success.  Many have downloaded my worksheets and purchased the Podcast Talent Coach workbook.  It has been a blast.  I couldn't do it without you. Fresh and funky from a weekend alone with Spousal Unit, 1A, episode 68 is a mix of tactics and patriotism. Kenn changed his reservations from the NRA Annual Meeting to a hideaway with the Mrs in another locale for some special time. Happy Belated Mothers Day to all the ladies. Kenn reminds us about the Pledge of Allegiance and actually sings the National Anthem. Reading from Dr. John Lott, Jr's book, "Straight Shooting" about DC Gun Laws and crime. I think is time to change things on the pro-gun side.  I think we should go on the offensive.  Stop taking all the crap we do and be about some business. (while that is not good grammar, it is motivating talk)  I am looking for some like-minded patriots to help me go on the offensive by first tackling the gun buy back programs.  Let's get a plan.  This show also introduces a new identity for me.  I am morphing away from the BlackManWithAGun into The Minister of Defense. This episode is less than 20 minutes long.  I ask folks to stop "Preaching to the Choir" and advertise for a few of our friends.www.ayoob.com- Lethal Force Institute's Masaad Ayoobwww.zzagency.com - Suzzanne Mac, Private Investigation Firm www.ICETraining.us - Rob Pincus, Combat Focus ShootingOne of the instrumentals in the background was done by my nephew, Kevin aka the Revolutionary Nam
