Welcome back to another episode of Pissed Gof! This week kicks off with the Update, where I break down the latest happenings in my world. Then, in Manny's A Reel Boy, we check out some of the funniest reels of the week, including an absolutely spot-on Kamala Harris impression that you won't want to miss. Next up is Poke My Jokes, where I recap my Friday night stand-up at Pizza Town—what jokes hit and what missed. We wrap it up with WorldStar Corner, where we dig into the recent hurricane's impact, the wild differences in food across the U.S. and abroad, and why you really need to watch out for Delhi Belly. Then, I react to videos covering the Jackson family avoiding Kamala, how shockingly easy it is to get into America, an FBI whistleblower's warning, the beef between a Kendrick associate and Adin Ross, the insane price of groceries in Alaska, and why the First Amendment might be under threat. We also talk blowing a tire at high speed, Rizzing women, how to spot a ride-or-die chick, and of course, the infamous P Diddy tapes. I end with some laughs to close it out strong. Rate, Review, Share, and I'll catch you next week, God willing! IA!

Oh the irony: it took us a lot of brainpower to come up with two films that have much to do with sloth! Perhaps because lazy people are harder to make cinematically interesting? Hmmm. We went with two films from what sure seems like the peak era of slacker dudes in Hindi cinema: Wake Up Sid (2009) and Delhi Belly (2011). Stray thoughts include: • what makes the non-action of sloth so sinful? • do women get to be as slothful as men? • isn't Vijay Raaz the absolute best? This week on 'Has It Aged Well?' we take a gastronomical journey back to 2011 to discuss the comic caper 'Delhi Belly' starring Imran Khan, Kunal Roy Kapur and Vir Das, directed by Abhibay Deo and written by Akshat Verma. Joining Abbas and Urjita is returning guest Karan Mirchandani riding high on his recently acquired 'influencer' status. Topics discussed include: The use of Hinglish in the film and why we didn't get more films like this, Is this an authentic Delhi movie? Does the film tell us men are disgusting? The genius of Vijay Raaz, the Easter eggs to other films and music and more. PSA: Given the nature of the film there is some literal shit talk between the three panelists so it's best to maybe NOT listen to this while having dinner.
How powerful is humour as a unifying force in the world? Are we drawn to it because it's a coping mechanism for us to deal with the hardships of our lives? Thriller-comedies have forever managed varying success in Indian cinema. But Abhinay Deo's Blackmail, our Lost and Found for the day, surely serves a refreshing twist to the genre. Starring Irrfan Khan, Kirti Kulhari, Arunoday Singh and Divya Dutta, this 2018 film packs a hilarious series of misadventures, a dash of extramarital affairs and a whole lot of blackmail. The film's central plot revolves around an employee of a toilet paper firm who seems to be married to his job as he ends up spending endless hours at work. As it turns out, he does have a wife, even though their relationship is evident from their monosyllabic texts to each other. When he finds her in bed with a certain someone, he mulls over the possible ways of reacting to the revelation and finally decides that blackmailing her wife's partner would deliver ultimate retribution. But this inadvertently triggers a chain of deceit and drama as various other lies come to light and every character is compelled to consider extreme measures. The late Khan laces his flawed yet believable character with every possible human emotion and carves him in a manner that one can easily relate to him. Deo, who has previously helmed films such as Delhi Belly and Game, is in complete control of the proceedings and the film has been written by Perveez Sheikh (who's credited for the story and screenplay of Queen). If you're up for some laughs and movies about cheating partners and multiple plot points catch your fancy, add Blackmail to your watchlist right away. You can catch it streaming on Amazon Prime VideoWell, that was the OTTplay Lost and Found film Blackmail for today's episode, I shall be back again soon with another critically acclaimed film but lesser-known. This is your host Nikhil signing out for now.

Once upon a time, there was a girl who grew up to be the most successful boxer in India’s history. Her name was Mary Kom. Mary was an energetic child who was naturally drawn towards sports. So she enrolled herself in a sports academy where she discovered her love of boxing, but her trainers thought she was too small. Still, Mary sparred until she improved her technique, showing up early and staying late to train. She was terrified her parents would stop her, but they eventually grew to be her biggest supporters. With her nation and family’s support, Mary boxed her way to the Olympic Games and inspired generations to come.Sponsored by:www.rebelgirls.co Use promocode REBELPODCAST to get 15% off your first purchase!About the Narrator:Poorna Jagannathan is an award-winning actress and producer. Once upon a time, there was an inventor and entrepreneur named Madam C.J. Walker. She was the child of slaves, the first in her family to be born free, thanks to the Emancipation Proclamation. As a child, she had to work in the cotton fields to help support her family. Later, as a teenaged orphan, she became a washerwoman, backbreaking work considered one of the worst and most difficult jobs a woman could have. But she dreamed of more -- for herself and her daughter. When, due to an illness, her hair began to fall out, she created a hair care regimen specifically for African-American women. It worked! She crisscrossed the country going door to door to sell her products and eventually built a beauty empire with sales representatives in every state. The formula grew to be so popular she became the first self-made female millionaire in America, and her products are still for sale today.Sponsored by:www.rebelgirls.co Use promocode REBELPODCAST to get 15% off your first purchase!Poorna Jagannathan is an actress and the producer of "Nirbhaya" ('Fearless'), the critically-acclaimed play written and directed by Yael Farber. In this Chaitime, we talk to composer, producer, vocalist and musician Ram Sampath. Ram Sampath calls himself a musical schizophrenic & there's a good reason for that. At 21, he founded his own Indie label, Mutherfunk Records, through which he released his rock band's self titled album, "Colourblind". He is one of the few Indian composer- producers who has tasted mainstream success outside of Bollywood with his Desi-Pop albums like Shaan's, "Tanha Dil", Sona Mohapatra's self titled debut album, two super successful episodes on Coke Studio @ MTV India. He composed all the songs and music on Aamir Khan's groundbreaking TV show, Satyamev Jayate. He has composed music for over 5000 commercials and has won multiple national & international awards for his advertising work. And of course, he also works in Bollywood! He's done music for movies like Talaash, Khakee, Fukrey, Let's Talk & of course, Delhi Belly. Ram sampath is currently visiting San Francisco Bay area for his show Ram Sampath Live! on March 10th and 11th. This show is a Mona Khan Company production and is a live music show with Ram Sampath and his band. The show will also be featuring Mona Khan Company dancers. More details of the show(March 10th and 11th, 2018) can be found here: https://www.monakhancompany.com/ramsampathlive/
